Headcannons for Moonjumper/Snatcher if they find out they have a crush on someone?
Awww! I’m actually in a fluffy mood for them both almost 24/7 *cough* so I’d love to! (And sorry I didn’t get to this sooner ^^’)
Moonjumper easily crushes on someone, and he’s certainly not that good at hiding it. He gushes about them constantly, gives them loving gazes and sighs, and sings about just how much he loves them! But he tries to only do this when they’re not around. Even with him being a literal prince charming and all, he’s still very shy and nervous around his crush.
Snatcher, on the other hand? It’s subtle. Very subtle. In fact, his crush doesn’t even notice at all at first, that’s how well Snatcher keeps it hidden. Like the moment Snatcher finds out it’d probably be when his crush is going out to do his contracts, and he just starts thinking about them more often and hoping they’ll be alright…which results in him realizing he has a crush with a mortified “Oh no…”
Moonjumper is a lot more direct with flirting. Or at least, he sometimes drops hints to his crush that he likes them. He can’t help it, he just loves them! So every chance he gets he compliments them and tells them how much he loves to spend time with them! It might come off as platonic sometimes…but other times he’s a lot more heart-to-heart with his words, and it’s honestly very sweet~
Back to Snatcher, he doesn’t flirt with his crush. At all (or at least, not until he finally confesses to them). At the very least, he treats his crush with a little more respect than others. He’ll tease them occasionally, sure, but it’s still obvious that he cares about them! He’ll tell them that they did a good job on their contracts, or save them from walking into any fire or the swamp sometimes. He will, of course, try to shrug it off in his own Snatcher way, so that way his crush is none the wiser.
Moonjumper loves it when his crush comes to visit him, more than anything! His heart just goes through the roof when they want to spend any time with them, or just check to see how he’s doing in general. And he tries to so the same thing for them! Popping into their home every now and then, just to see if they’re doing okay (he does, however, restrain himself from checking too often, as he can be quite clingy sometimes). And if his crush is in any need of cheering up, he’d be more than happy to make their day in any way he can!
Once Snatcher can no longer deny the fact that he has an obvious crush, it drives him up the wall. He thinks something’s wrong with him at first, because he just can’t get the thought of his crush out of his head. Whether he’s reading, making new contracts, heck, when they’re not even around Subcon he’s still thinking about them! This causing him to pop into their home as well, but only because he “wants to make sure his servant isn’t slacking off outside of work” (which makes no sense at all, but his crush appreciates the subtle sentiment Snatcher gives them).
Moonjumper will eventually gather the courage to ask his crush out on a sort of “date.” But he never really calls it that outright, since his crush is still unaware that he likes them. He’ll take them out star-gazing, flower-picking, or to simply walk around Subcon with him. Sometimes he’ll even ask for a dance with them! (Which may or may not lead to Moonjumper confessing his feelings to his crush, hint hint)
Snatcher does the same, although they’re not really normal “dates” either. He’ll take his crush star-gazing as well, bringing them to the top of his tree home to see the stars better from there. Or, they could just be simply hanging out in Snatcher’s home, the both of them having a little reading time. Of course, Snatcher plays it off as “free time, as a reward for being such a hard worker”, but given the fact that Snatcher still tries to scoot a little closer to them, his hand may or may not be closer to touching theirs occasionally, or he even lets his crush sit in his lap if they so choose, it’s painfully obvious that there’s more to these occasional “quiet moments.”
Now, as for confessions? If it’s with Moonjumper, you probably already know how this plays out. He’ll most likely ask them to dance with him and later confess his feelings to them. Or, if you’d rather go the more fancy route, Moonjumper takes his crush out on an actual date, all dressed up and fancy, before confessing to them with flowers! However, if it’s the crush who confesses to him? He’ll be speechless…until his eyes light up and he’s grinning so wide, before tackling them into a hug. (And if the crush happens to kiss him, he just might faint, the poor flustered lad~)
With Snatcher, on the other hand, it might be a planned confession (like in that one fic I wrote, where Snatcher shyly confesses to them with flowers). Or, it could be an accidental confession, where the two argue over something (maybe the crush was just saved by Snatcher from a near-death experience?) before Snatcher blurts out that he loves them before he can stop himself. Snatcher could just brush it off this time, but…he finally decides to confess that, yes, he is very much in love with them. (Which leads to the two of them catching up with some much needed cuddles for the rest of the evening~)
Once they are officially a couple, Moonjumper treats his soulmate like royalty. He gives them so many gifts, whether they be hand-made gifts or bouquets of flowers, and makes sure to spend plenty of time and attention to them when they’re together! And while Moonjumper love, love, loves to give his darling soulmate attention (in the form of cuddles, hugs, compliments, kisses, or just whatever they’re comfortable with in general), he absolutely adores getting attention from them as well! He’s very needy for cuddles and hugs, compliments and flirting always leave him a flustered mess, and sweet little kisses never fail to leave him weak at the knees! (or, well, lack thereof)
Snatcher treats his soulmate similarly, but in his own way! They get a lot more slack from his than all his previous contractors and servants, which leaves plenty of time for them to spend together! And while it takes quite awhile for Snatcher to warm up to physical touch and affection, once he does he welcomes it gladly. Reading time pretty much turns into all night cuddle sessions, with Snatcher smiling warmly as he holds his soulmate close to him. And, more than once, Snatcher will make “special contracts” for his soulmate, which are mostly just proposals to ask them out or ask them for attention/kisses. And once Snatcher becomes more confident with this whole “affection thing” (as he puts it), he’s very flirty and oddly more romantic than you would expect! (Don’t worry though, he’s still his regular tsundere self when he wants attention but doesn’t want to ask)

gggg I love your headcanons so much they make my sappy little selfshipping heart happy....if you’re alright with it I’d like your take on how the ghosts are with a SO whos got adhd
Heck ye!! I’ve got ADHD as well, so I totally get where you’re coming from! Needless to say, I’m more than happy to deliver ;3
Snatcher and Moonjumper like to gift S/O things they can fidget with! Whether it be stress balls, slime, spinners, cubes, etc., they like giving S/Os these things so they can watch them fidget. With Snatcher it’s more likely to be a fidget cube/spinner/toy of some kind, usually with a purple and golden yellow motif with his signature smile plastered onto it. With Moonjumper, however, he’s more of the type to make a stress ball out of his strings or take the time to make some slime with S/O!
If S/O has any hyper-fixations, obsessions, and/or interests that they love going off about, both Snatcher and Moonjumper are more than willing to listen! Even if they don’t quite understand it, it still makes them smile seeing S/O being so enthusiastic about something they’re passionate about. And who knows? Maybe S/O might even get Snatcher or Moonjumper into certain fandoms! And while S/O and Snatcher/Moonjumper might have different tastes, they still respect each others interests and love them for just how much of a nerd they are.
The ghosties also love going off about their interests as well! Snatcher loves talking about law, obviously, but he’s also a massive book nerd, and he even gets into a few video games every now and then! Meanwhile Moonjumper loves talking about sewing, knitting, sword fighting, classical music, and dancing, while he’s also trying to learn how to bake and getting into a few cartoons/animes! And both ghosts really like astronomy, and Moonjumper even knows a bit about law himself! Basically, both ghosts like learning about S/O’s interests and hobbies, and vise versa! They like to try and teaching S/O about their hobbies/interests and S/O does the same with them as a sort of bonding time!
If S/O is know for stimming, such as tapping their fingers, shaking their legs, bouncing up and down in their seat, tapping their feet, etc., no worries! Snatcher and Moonjumper do the same thing! Snatcher taps his talons rhythmically while he’s reading and even swishes his ghost tail from time to time. And Moonjumper snaps his claws or, if he has legs through some magic, tends to tap his feet. Also, if S/O tends to do more excited stimming as well, like jumping up and down, clapping or flapping their hands, etc., Snatcher and Moonjumper find it especially adorable! (Moonjumper tends to do more excitable stims than Snatcher, but if S/O catches Snatcher stimming/fidgeting it means he feels more comfortable around them!) However, if S/O is known for doing more harmful stims, like biting or scratching, Snatcher and Moonjumper will find them alternatives so they can stim safely!
If S/O doesn’t like the certain textures and/or fabrics, Moonjumper will offer to make them clothing articles out of fabrics they do like! If that last sweater Moon gifted them feels too scratchy to S/O, Moon will personally offer to remake it because he doesn’t want S/O to feel uncomfortable! And that goes for blankets, pillows, and plushies as well, as he’ll try and use more softer and fluffier material to make them especially comfy for S/O! (Or whatever kind of material S/O likes or requests)
Snatcher like to kindly remind S/O of tasks they should get done, especially if said tasks are absolutely necessary and if S/O tends to procrastinate often. He won’t force them to do it if it’s not mandatory, but if it’s something like chores he’ll remind them and possibly even offer to help! But if it’s something selfcare-related (like eating, drinking, grooming, showering/bathing, and/or sleeping) and S/O is putting it off? Snatcher will literally pick them up and force them to do it and he won’t leave them alone until they do. Say what you will, but Snatcher wants to make sure his S/O is happy and healthy, not to mention taking care of themselves!
If S/O becomes more hyper by consuming caffeine, excess sugar, etc., you can bet that Snatcher and Moonjumper make sure they only eat in small amounts. Snatcher’s the same way, as every time he drinks a lot of coffee, he becomes especially hyper. And with Moonjumper, he can’t have too much sugar in his system or he will be literally bouncing off the walls. They won’t stop S/O from eating what they like, of course, only remind them to eat in moderation if said food makes them extra hyper.
Since S/O tends to be more absent-minded and forgetful, when Snatcher assigns contracts to them he goes over everything with them to make sure they understand. And if they forget something, Snatcher is sure to remind them to stay on task as best he can! Moonjumper’s the same way as S/O, as his mind tends to wander and he daydreams often. But if this is ever the case, and S/O becomes distracted by something, Moonjumper makes sure to get their attention as politely as he can, tapping their shoulder lightly or calling their name multiple times to get their attention. Snatcher does this as well, though he tends to playfully tease S/O afterwards or get their attention in annoying ways, but he assures them he’s only messing with them.
If you’re like me, you tend to make a lot of weird noises at random times. If S/O does this, Snatcher and Moonjumper tend to play along with them, making silly noises back until it becomes a sort of game between them. They think it is actually rather cute when S/O does it! And sometimes it gets a little silly, with S/O and Snatcher/Moonjumper giggling at themselves afterwards. (And yes, this can include meme phrases and references, if S/O manages to get Snatcher and Moonjumper into them)
Snatcher lets S/O fidget or toy around with his floof as a form of stimming, letting their hands brush through it, letting them twirl locks of it between their fingers, or just letting S/O pet/scratch his floof in general. It means free affection (AKA: pets and scritches) for him, and something soft and fluffy to stim with for S/O!  Moonjumper also does this, by letting S/O fidget with his strings while he’s busy sewing/knitting, even getting to teach them how to play string games like cat’s cradle!
If S/O tends to have random mood swings, being fine one minute and then not fine the next, Snatcher and Moonjumper deal with this appropriately. I’ve mentioned this before, but if they ever catch their S/O in a not-so-good mood, they will be sure to hold S/O close, wrapping them in a blanket burrito, and give them something like their favorite comfort food (basically, whatever kind of snack is S/O’s favorite) plus something that they like to cuddle or hold, like blanket (possibly weighted), pillow, or plushie. Snatcher and Moonjumper will try and calm S/O down if their mood is due to any anxiety attacks, try to comfort them if S/O has any depressive episodes, or if S/O just finds themselves in a bad mood in general Snatcher/Moonjumper will stay there with them and won’t leave their side unless S/O asks them to.
If S/O becomes needy for touch and affection often, Snatcher and Moonjumper are more than happy to oblige! Snatcher’s pretends to be more reluctant about it, but if he sees S/O doing “grabby-hands” or asking nicely with big puppy-dog eyes? Well, how can he say no to such an adorable face? Moonjumper is the same, pouncing on any chance to litter his S/O with affection! But if it’s soft and simple affection that S/O wants instead, like simply wanting to cuddle or be held, Moonjumper will be just as happy to do so. And as needy as S/O can get for affection, Snatcher and Moonjumper can be the same way! Moonjumper tends to politely ask his S/O for permission, giving them pleading eyes and dragging out the word “Pleeease?”, or simply nudging them gently with his horns when he wants attention (kinda like when a cat bumps their head/nuzzles their face against you when they want attention, if that makes any sense). With Snatcher, he usually become needy for S/O’s affection when they’re busy with something, which means they’re not paying attention to him. He’ll wait until S/O’s finished, of course (only making the occasional needy whimper or sigh), but once they are Snatcher immediately teleports them into his lap, wrapping his tail around them like a snake while he hugs them and lets their head rest against his floof like a pillow (that’s basically how he tells S/O he wants attention without actually asking for it, the heckin tsundere).

hey, so,,,I heard ya make GOOD STUFF, frack, you baboon. you /totally/ dont know me but,,,uhm. could. could you do one with the ghosts with a tsun-ish s/o who acts all smug but gets mushy and flustered easy? i dont peraonally like snatcher but so many people do and they deserve to see their man!!! and like,,,,I appreciate Moon. deeply. thamk u and dont forget - you /totally/ dont know who this is.
Oh yeah, suuure I don’t. Uh-huh. Definitely. Absolutely ;3 (So, for completely unrelated reasons, I’m gonna start with Moonjumper first!)
We all know that Moonjumper is more open with his compliments, especially when he’s around S/O! But he’s noticed, that for some odd reason, S/O keeps deflecting the compliments he gives to them. Not in a bad way, of course! (S/O’s blushing cheeks obviously show they like being complimented) It’s just that Moonjumper assumes that they seem to have a hard time trying to accept that they are truly beautiful. So, the solution to this? Moonjumper complimenting them as much as possible! He comments everyday about how beautiful they look, writes and gifts them poems, and just fawns over them every chance he can get! (S/O’s face turning as red as a cherry means it must be working, right?~)
While a tsundere-like S/O can’t out-tsun Snatcher, unfortunately, it seems that both of them have made it a on-going competition! When they both find out they have crushes on one another, they try to deny it, of course, until they both finally give in and go “Fine! I like you, okay?!” during an argument, leaving the two of them flustered and “annoyed” at their feelings, but accepting nonetheless. And even after S/O and Snatcher get together, they still act like tsunderes around each other. They both grumble while cuddling (because it’s not like they wanted any cuddles), asking for kisses is still slightly awkward (because neither of them can bring the courage to ask most of the time), and asking for dates usually just turns into playfully teasing and making fun of one another (but it’s not like they actually like each other or anything even though they’ve been dating for who know how long)
S/O has a habit of calling Moonjumper by nicknames or retorts, like “nerd”, “dork”, “dummy”, “sap”, etc., etc. But Moon quickly finds out they don’t actually mean it, they just tend to say it whenever they’re flustered and don’t know how to respond to affection or compliments. Moonjumper actually finds this rather cute! He even finds a way to twist this around them, one example being if they call him an “insufferable sap” he responds with “Yes, but I’m your insufferable sap, my love!”, giving them a happy yet mischievous smile. Moonjumper also learns S/O’s own way of “complimenting”, as whenever they say something like “You are the silliest, goofiest, most ridiculous-looking ghost I have ever met.” he just responds with “Awww! How sweet of you! I love you too, darling!” hugging them with the biggest, most lovestruck grin on his face, giggling.
Once S/O and Snatcher are in a relationship, they make it a sort of game to see who can fluster the other the most. (Snatcher even keeps a hecking tally board, that’s how long they’ve been doing it for) And usually, and the end of the day, Snatcher’s the one who wins. With his bold flirting, deep voice, and sudden romantic gestures, he leaves S/O a stuttering, blushing, and “angry” mess at the end of the day. But is S/O builds up enough confidence, they can also “win”, by giving Snatcher random kisses (that he likes more that he would like to admit) and petting his floof to leave him practically melting in their arms. And the end of the day, at least one of them is teasing the over how easy it is to fluster them, while said other is calling them a “baka.”
Since Moonjumper is, as we have previously established, an incredible sap, it only makes sense that he would use only the sappiest and sweeter-than-sugar nicknames for his S/O! And in the case, that’s even more literal! Moon has many different cutesy nicknames he likes to call S/O to get them all flustered, but one he starts nicknaming them after desserts it’s all over for S/O. It seems that every time Moonjumper calls S/O something like his “darling pudding cake”, “sweet sugar cookie”, “fluffy little marshmallow”, etc., they become all red in the face and almost too embarrassed to speak! Of course, they can always get him back, with Moon becoming even flustered than they are...well, if S/O can find the time to stop screaming internally, that is.
As I’ve mentioned before, Snatcher likes to make contracts to ask S/O for kisses when he’s too prideful or embarrassed to ask directly. But with this kind of S/O? It plays out a little...differently. Instead, if S/O happens to be completing any contractual obligations for Snatcher, Snatcher makes it so that each contract, in order to be fulfilled, has to be sealed with a kiss. (Of course, this is well into their relationship, and Snatcher makes sure to give S/O an alternative, like a hug, if they don’t want to seal the contract in that particular way) If S/O, albeit “begrudgingly”, accepts this, Snatcher lets them, as he puts it, “seal the deal” with just a simple cheek kiss at first. But as S/O keeps coming back for more contracts, and they become a little bolder to get the best of Snatcher, it escalates to straight-up kissing, which Snatcher doesn’t expect at all when S/O comes back after, let say, the third contract. So basically, by the time all of the contracts are fully completed, both of them are trying to act smug but in reality they’re both blushing like crazy.
Once Moonjumper finds out he can fluster S/O so easily, the more smug side of him shows up a lot more in his flirting. He grins widely at them more often, kissing their hand and constantly does other romantic gestures for them, and teases them playfully, usually by “booping” them on the nose or blowing them a kiss before waving oh-so-innocently to them. Of course, Moon’s smug persona can be broken in just a few easy steps, and S/O gets their revenge eventually. But until then...they’re gonna have to admit to the fact that they like Moonjumper’s smug way of flirting more than they would like to believe. Especially when they expect an actual kiss from Moon one moment, and he ends up simply kissing them on the cheek, with Moon commenting afterwards “Oh? Were you expecting something else, my dear?~” before chuckling, the biggest smug grin plastered on his face
Snatcher and S/O tend to playfully bully one another. S/O “insults” Snatcher by calling him things like “pool noodle”, “noodle ghost”, “burnt noodle”, etc., while Snatcher retorts by calling S/O “shortie” (despite their height), “brat”, “mortal”, yadda yadda. And both of them like to call each other “dork”, “nerd”, and “geek” interchangeably. Others would think that these two don’t really get along well, when in actuality, they get along very well, as this is technically just one of the way they “flirt” with one another. And in their more private moments, Snatcher and S/O always reassure one another that they aren’t really insulting them, and that they really do love them (“I love you. And I mean it, you massive nerd.” “I love you too, you incredible nuisance.”)
As much as they don’t want to admit it, S/O lets Moonjumper get away with a lot of things they wouldn’t let anyone else do otherwise. If Moonjumper really wants to cuddle them, making pleading puppy-dog eyes, clasping his hands together in a pleading expression, and dragging out the word “Pleeeeeease?” in an innocent and begging tone, S/O will stare at him for a moment, before finally saying “...Okay, fine-” And before they even know it, Moonjumper is practically hugging at their waist/side, immediately nuzzling them and making happy, content noises. And while S/O face might be feeling hotter than the sun, they still smile down at him fondly, remarking the fact that he’s lucky that they love him.
Snatcher and S/O are both incredibly sarcastic and, eventually, start to share the same level of dark humor! With that being said, S/O tends to sarcastically compliment Snatcher often, only inflating his massive ego more. And while Snatcher is well aware that S/O is being sarcastic with him, he just tends to turn it around so he can gloat about how great he is in their face and claim that “they started it.” But also, if S/O ever messes up and sarcastically comments on how “great” they are at something, or if they make any kind of self-deprecating comment or joke towards themselves, Snatcher also twists that around on them, letting S/O know that despite what they think they really are great, beautiful, and amazing in his eyes, which is why he loves them so much. And while S/O can tease Snatcher about how “soft” he’s becoming, it’s clear that they appreciate the sentiment and they make sure to let him know that.
Moonjumper, despite his appearance, is actually rather strong! S/O finds this out the hard way when they jokingly retort to him “If you’re a prince, then why don’t you start carrying me like a princess?” and Moon just stares at then for a moment, not saying anything... Before getting the biggest. Grin. Ever. On his face. Moon then says “Well, why didn’t you say so, my love?” before lifting S/O up in his arms with surprising strength. After that, Moon makes a habit of suddenly picking S/O up, carrying them bridal-style wherever he goes, delighting in the flustered expression and the adorably embarrassed noises S/O makes! (Alternatively, since Moonjumper is a ghost and is, quite literally, lighter than air, S/O can carry him as well! It’s some great revenge for S/O, as Moonjumper always hides his blushing face, letting out embarrassed squeaks and giggles, with S/O feeling rather smug and proud of themselves)
At some point, S/O starts picking up some of Snatcher’s phrases and mannerisms, sometimes doing it without even realizing it. The first time Snatcher notices S/O do this? He teases them about it to no end. He’s just so proud of his soulmate, and so surprised at how much he’s rubbing off on them! Of course, S/O will fully deny this, but them “accidentally” calling Snatcher “fool” only further proves his point. After that, Snatcher tries to educate S/O in his evil ways, teaching them his signature evil laugh, how to make contracts, and how to give the best evil monologues! S/O, of course, decides to humor him on this, and it actually ends up paying off in the end! S/O gets to show Snatcher what they learned from him, “trapping” him and forcing him to sign a contract (AKA: a date contract), and Snatcher couldn’t be prouder! Snatcher calls S/O his “partner in crime/law” and they couldn’t be happier, the two of them embracing one another and kissing, truly a match made in villainy.

Do you think you could male some hcs for snatch and mj with a s/o who has a messed up sleep schedule? Like theyll stay up late at night and sleep through most of the day?
Ah, so an S/O with a sort of insomnia? Or, like you said, just a messed up sleeping schedule adsfghjk (AKA: Like me, guilty as charged!) And of course! I’ll even throw in some general sleeping HCs with the ghosties for ya!
Both Snatcher and Moonjumper make sure to ask S/O, everyday, if they got enough sleep last night. Snatcher, being the tsundere he is, says he just wouldn’t want them passing out on the job, of course. But both him and Moonjumper want to make sure that S/O is getting the right amount of sleep. If not, both ghosts will drop whatever they’re doing and give S/O some time to rest. They’ll tuck S/O in, if they so desire, or either ghost can just sleep right beside S/O, watching them to make sure they get enough sleep (ghosts don’t necessarily need sleep, but either Snatcher or Moonjumper will fall asleep next to S/O if they feel relaxed enough or if it helps S/O with sleeping)
Both Snatcher and Moonjumper pull out all the works if that’s what it takes for S/O to get to sleep. Moonjumper makes S/O a pillow fort, with star-patterned sheets (that even glow in the dark!) as the roof, and only the fluffiest, coziest pillows and blankets. With a giant heap of pillows inside the fort along with a comfy nest of blankets, Moonjumper offers to tuck S/O in and cuddle next to them while the rest. With Snatcher, he feels like there’s no comfier place than his armchair, having S/O curled up in his lap, wrapped up snugly in a blanket burrito while he reads, or maybe even sing, to them to get them to sleep. But if that isn’t comfortable enough, Snatcher can shapeshift into his full size (which is 20 frickin feet), lay down somewhere comfortable, and just let S/O just sleep on top of him, with him wrapping his arms around them and letting them use his, now almost giant, floof as a pillow.
If S/O keeps themselves up at night because of any electronics (you know who you are, person reading this), Snatcher has a nasty habit of stealing it, whether it be a phone, game console, etc., and hiding it/keeping it hostage until S/O finally gets some decent rest. He never admits to doing it, of course, claiming that S/O must have misplaced it. But isn’t it strange how S/O always manages to find it again once they get enough sleep? Hmm... (also, if S/O is determined enough, Snatcher might just decide to be a mega jerk and switch off the wifi, because of course he would)
If S/O’s sleep deprivation is due to them being an insomniac, Moonjumper, luckily, has a solution to that! I’ve mentioned it briefly before, but Moon actually has the ability to hypnotize! He doesn’t use it often, but if S/O is struggling with getting enough sleep, Moon will offer to hypnotize them so they can rest peacefully. But only if they ask, otherwise, Moonjumper will just offer to sing them to sleep. He’ll hold S/O close in his arms, with them being wrapped up in their favorite blankets, and sing to them softly to lull them to sleep, brushing through S/O’s hair softly and doting over how peaceful they look while they sleep.
Going back to Snatcher, if stealing S/O’s electronics wasn’t enough, he also hides all their stashes of caffeine. Basically, any coffee or caffeinated drinks that S/O usually drinks to keep themselves awake? Yeah, all of those have suddenly disappeared. Snatcher, however, will offer them a substitution with a glass of warm milk, hot cocoa, or tea, usually chamomile tea, instead! (Moonjumper also offers S/O a nice cup of tea if they’re feeling sleepy, but he doesn’t resort to hiding all the caffeine like Snatcher does)
Both ghosts try to get S/O on a decent sleep schedule, setting them a bed time and even giving them napping periods throughout the day. It isn’t easy of course, but they try their best, reminding S/O of when they should get some sleep. Snatcher even stops S/O before they go to complete their contracts, and Moonjumper prepares a sleeping space for S/O if they really need it. And if they really need to, if S/O is too tired to walk properly, Snatcher/Moonjumper will offer to carry S/O, before bringing them to their sleeping space and tucking them in. They’ll leave S/O be until they’ve gotten enough rest, or sleep beside them until the morning comes.
If S/O’s sleep deprivation is due to excessive nightmares or night terrors, both Snatcher and Moonjumper will be by their side in case they wake up. Snatcher/Moonjumper will cradle S/O in their arms and, if it was an especially bad dream, shush them gently and reassure them that everything’s alright and they promise not to leave them. And since the ghosts don’t need to sleep, they’ll offer to stay awake and help S/O if they start having another nightmare (or, in worse case scenario, a case of sleep paralysis), whispering to them that everything will be alright and that they promise to keep them safe.
Alternatively, even though they don’t need sleep, even the ghosts get tired every once and awhile. Snatcher and Moonjumper find it very touching when S/O takes them by the hand, telling them they need some sleep, and even offer to cuddle with them. With Snatcher, he’s always over-working himself, denying that he needs rest and putting his work first. But if S/O forces him to take a nap and offers to rest with him, Snatcher doesn’t hesitate to curl himself around S/O like a snake and finally, finally get some much needed rest, nuzzling against S/O and hugging them close like they were a plushie, purring in his sleep. With Moonjumper, he’ll also try and deny that he needs rest, wanting to spend more time with S/O. But when S/O insists, he’ll admit defeat and sleepily ask for cuddles, cuddling up to S/O’s chest and falling asleep right then and there, because he feels so safe and at peace when they’re in his arms and vise versa. (Both might occasionally mumble S/O’s name in their sleep, smiling and/or giggling afterwards)
(This isn’t an original HC of mine, it belongs to @/fedoraspooky, the inspiration from this post!) Very rarely, Snatcher will shapeshift back into his human form (AKA: The Prince) in his sleep without knowing. The first time S/O mentions it, he denies it, of course. But once he starts becoming more comfortable around them, he’ll accept it and shapeshift into his human form when he want more intimate cuddles, holding them close and sleepily telling them how much he loves them. (He stills purrs when S/O brushes their hands through his hair though, and it’s adorable!)
(Since I’m personally a sucker for Moonjumper having legs) When Moon has legs and he’s sleeping with S/O, sometimes he wraps his legs around theirs in his sleep. Sometimes it’s a bit of an awkward position, especially if the two of them are spooning/cuddling, but it’s also kinda cute! Moonjumper is especially a big hugger and cuddler in his sleep, even though he’s not really aware of it afterwards. And if S/O offer to sleep next to Moonjumper, and they somehow wake up before he does? They’d better prepare to be there for the next hour or so, because Moon will have a tight grip on them in his sleep. On the plus side though, he make the most adorable noises in his sleep, humming and breathing softly (even though he doesn’t need to breath), sometimes nuzzling closer to S/O for warmth and letting out a sigh.

Since my birthday is coming up in a few weeks could i have some headcannons for how snatch and moon would spend their S/O's birthday?
Eyyy, same here! Happy early birthday! (Or late, depending on when I get to this ask akskskddk-)
Both Moonjumper and Snatcher try to make S/O a cake on their birthday! (And of course it’s in their favorite flavor, whether it be chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, red velvet, etc.) And yes, they try and make it from scratch to show how much they care about their S/O! Although, if they don’t have help from Cooking Cat, the result may be rather...disastrous. But hey! It’s the thought that counts, right? (Charcoal cake aside, they do actually get S/O other things that are more edible for their birthday)
If S/O isn’t too big on cake, Snatcher and Moonjumper can take them some where else to eat instead for their birthday! Whether it be as simple as takeout, or going out to a restaurant, either ghost makes sure that S/O get the food they want on their special day. Or, even better, the two of they can try and cook for dinner! Obviously Snatcher/Moonjumper will need some help, since they’re really not experienced with cook at all, but part of the fun is S/O teaching them and/or the two of them learning from Cooking Cat if they need the help!
If S/O wants a big birthday part? Snatcher and Moonjumper will try their best to throw them the best birthday ever (Keeping it a surprise party, of course!), with help from the rest of the crew. It’s difficult, because Snatcher/Moonjumper really doesn’t want S/O to think that he forgot their birthday, so while the others are prepared the party, he makes sure to distract S/O by spending the day with them. Maybe he hints to a surprise happening later once or twice, but he never gives it away until the very end, when he’s covering S/O’s eyes and telling them “No peeking!” before removing his hands with everyone yelling “Surprise!” And as S/O is about to blow the candles on their birthday cake, Snatcher/Moonjumper sing them “Happy Birthday”! Needless to say, everyone’s glad that operation “S/O’s B-Day” was a success!
Alternatively, if S/O is more introverted and isn’t big on get-togethers or parties, Snatcher/Moonjumper instead plan to just spend the whole day with them, doing any activities that S/O wants to do. Whether it be ordering takeout, having movie night, or playing video games, he lets S/O pick everything they like/want to do! All and all, it pretty much just feels like a lazy weekend, but it’s the best lazy weekend. And at the end of the day the two of them just cuddle after S/O opens their gifts, cuddling, with Snatcher/Moonjumper telling S/O how much he loves them and wishing them a happy birthday.
At first, Snatcher might joke around on S/O’s birthday, giving them a contract as a “birthday present.” (It’s decked out differently, with a little bow wrapped around it and everything, but it’s just a regular contract) He reassures them that he’s joking, of course, he just keeps the actual present a surprise until later. After the big party (unless S/O chose to stay at home), Snatcher finally reveals his gift to them, a box wrapped in purple, shiny wrapping paper, with Subcon vine patterns and a big golden bow on top! Snatcher gifts S/O something very practical; maybe a book they’ve really been wanting to read, some supplies for whatever hobby they like best, a big assortment of their favorite kind of sweets, a piece of clothing like he usually gifts in his Death Wishes, etc. (Or whatever you’d like it to be!) It even comes with a card Snatcher made himself, with his smiling face on the front and with the inside decorated with impressive calligraphy (like his contracts). It reads: Dear Y/N, You truly are the most wonderful soulmate I ever could have asked for. I usually don’t say such mushy, gushy, soft things, but I mean it when I’m with you. Ever since you’ve snatched (ha!) my heart away you’ve lit up my afterlife, and I can’t wait to spend even more time with you in the years to come! Love, Snatcher ♥
Moonjumper is similar to Snatcher, trying to surprise S/O with a gift. Although...maybe he’s a little too obvious, giving by how excited he is throughout the whole day. However, their is a little twist that Moon adds to this! He sets up a sort of scavenger hunt for S/O, hiding away their present somewhere safe so they can find it! It’s fairly easy, with the scavenger hunt either taking place in Subcon, or S/O’s home. When S/O finally does find their present, it’s wrapped in a glittery, light blue wrapping paper covered in a glittering star pattern, the red ribbon made of Moonjumper’s own strings! The gift, no surprise here, is handmade by Moon himself! It could be an article of clothing that S/O really likes, a hand stitched quilt with special patches sewn into it, or a hand-sewn/knitted/crocheted plushie of S/O favorite animal! With it comes a card as well (also in a light blue with a glittering, crescent moon and stars on the front), which reads: To my love, Y/N, There are not enough words I can string together to tell you how much I love you. If I were to try, I’m sure this card I made for you would run out of space, haha! But, to keep it as simple as I can, I love you, my darling. You are the stars to my moon. My everything. My beloved whom I adore so dearly. I wish you a plentiful and happy life, and I am more that honored to be by your side, to experience it with you! Love, your prince, Moonjumper ♥

May I? Ask for some Snatcher and MJ hcs when they are already a while with their s/o in a relationship?
Of course! These two lads deserve some love and affection (and vise versa for all you ghost lovers out there!)
Starting with Moonjumper, he has a very cute habit of taking his S/O’s hands and placing kisses on top of them in a fancy gesture (because, y’know, he’s royalty, and that’s a thing princes do-). Sometimes it’s because he wants to act like a gentleman, other times he uses it as an excuse just to see his S/O blush! But, if S/O decides to turn the tables and kiss his hands instead? He is straight up swooning, with him shyly commenting on how they are ever the charmer~
With Snatcher, if S/O allows him, he likes brushing his claws through their hair softly. It happens rarely, but if it’s one of those quiet moments where S/O in sitting in Snatcher’s lap and they’re just chilling, Snatcher may or may not find himself combing through their hair or playing with a lock of it (and if they have shorter hair, Snatcher just kinda “pets” the top of their head absentmindedly). With S/O petting Snatcher’s hair, on the other hand? Yes please, he love, love, loves floof pets and stritches! (not that he’ll ever admit it, but he won’t ask for them to stop)
Moonjumper is very much a cuddle bug. The moment that S/O hugs him or asks him for cuddles, he’s immediately hugging, cuddling, and/or nuzzling at their side. The poor lad is very touch-starved after so many years, so he very much craves physical affection and plenty of attention from his partner! But don’t worry, for as much attention as S/O gives him, Moon makes sure to give back twice if not thrice as much back!
No matter S/O’s height, whether they be relatively tall or short, Snatcher will always playfully make a teasing comment on how small or little they are compared to him (Honestly, I HC that Snatcher’s full height is about 20 ft., maybe 10 ft. or less if he needs to be smaller in somewhere with less room). He always takes advantage of this fact, picking them up often, carrying them in his arms or on his shoulders, or lifting them up when they need help to reach something. Basically, for every tall joke they make of Snatcher, Snatcher will always return it with a short joke just to get a rise out of them (or to see them all flustered, which is pretty much the main reason why he does it).
Moonjumper’s very well-known for gifting things to his S/O! Sometimes with bouquets of flowers, but other times he’ll make his gifts by hand! He’ll dedicate his free time time to make all sorts of blankets, clothing items, plushies, and pillows for his beloved! And another cute detail, most of these gifts follow a heart or star motif and/or are in S/O’s favorite color(s). Sometimes he’ll even embroider sweet little messages into these hand-made gifts, phrases like “To my precious star, the forever light of my afterlife~” or “To my darling sweetheart, who is, without a doubt, the sweetest thing of all!~” in pretty cursive embroidery.
Snatcher also gets his S/O gifts! Though he usually doesn’t give them flowers often, and he’s not as good with actually making things like Moonjumper does, he still does give them gifts from time to time (at first, he says it’s only because they “Did so well on their contracts”, but he’ll eventually admit it and just give them gifts outright). Sometimes the gift will be a book; not about law, surprisingly, but whatever genre or hobby S/O is into. Other times, they’ll be articles of clothing that Snatcher thinks would look nice on them! Some just are regular pieces of clothing, other times they’re a combination of purple and yellow, with a certain someone’s signature grin printed on there somewhere (call him an egotist if you want, it’s not gonna stop him from grinning so smugly).
Moonjumper is an absolute sap with nicknames. He’ll be sure to call S/O all the sweetest, gushiest, fluffiest nicknames he can think of, switching them up every now and then to see which one they liked being call the most! (Honestly, he might have a whole list at this point) Of course, there’s his usual go-to: “my lady/lord”, “my darling”, “my love”, “sweetheart” and so on. But other times he might use rarer nicknames like “my precious/glittering star”, “angel”, “dear/dearest”, “my jewel/gem”, “my flower”, “mon amour”, etc. But the rarest nickname of all for him to use is calling them “my princess/prince” or “my queen/king”, as he only uses it during their more heartfelt moments together, showing just how much he trusts them.
Snatcher rarely uses nicknames, claiming that they’re “too sappy/affection for his tastes”, so he only uses the occasional “darling”, “sweetheart”, etc. But, once they get further into the relationship, and/or if they ask nicely, Snatcher will surprise his S/O with more embarrassing nicknames, like “buttercup” or “pumpkin”, just to see how much he can make them blush. Basically, Snatcher can go from being fancy and calling them “my darling” to doing a complete 180 and calling them “toots” while doing finger guns. Maybe he’s aware of how cheesy it is, but he thinks it’s well worth it to see his S/O blushing and hear their adorable giggles!
Moonjumper tries to pull out all the stops when he takes S/O out on a date, dressing fancily and trying his best to impress them, maybe even ask them for a dance. But if S/O prefers something more easy-going, he’s more than happy to set up a romantic picnic, just for the two of them! Now does this means he still doesn’t try to impress them? Absolutely not, as he rehearses in the mirror every time before they go out on a date, wanting to make sure he a true gentleman when said date arrives. If S/O comments on this, however, saying that he doesn’t need to impress them so much, as he’s already impressive, they’d better prepare for him to be an absolute lovestruck sap for the rest of the night.
Snatcher is, surprisingly, very nervous when it comes to asking his S/Os out on dates, even after the fact that they’re already a couple. He always grooms himself before going out, making sure he looks his best, wearing a fancy tux and maybe even a tie/bowtie and top hat to match! He tries boosting up his confidence beforehand (he’s the King of Subcon, after all!), but once he sees his S/O in their date outfit, whether it be overly fancy or not, all of that goes out the window and he’s a blushing and nervous wreck the whole time. He tries hiding this by doing fancy gestures for S/O, locking arms or holding hands with them, opening doors and pushing in chairs for them, but out of the corner of their eye they’ll catch him taking a nervous gulp he doesn’t need, fidgeting and adjusting his tie/bowtie or suit, tapping his claws, and tugging at his suit collar. He can’t help it, and he finds himself getting distracted by how beautiful they are.
Now, let’s say S/O finds themselves in a particularly gloomy or not-so-good mood? Believe me, Moonjumper will notice, and he will immediately ask them wants wrong. And before they can even blink, Moon makes them and pillow fort with all the fluffiest blankets he could grab, offering them a warm, cozy seat and some tea so they can de-stress and relax. He holds them close in his arms, listening to them intently if there’s something wrong, and comforts them all night long, reassuring them that he loves them and that he’s there for them. Whether it be anxiety, depression, or anything else, he’ll make sure to let them know that he’s here, he loves them, and he promises he’s not going anywhere.
When S/O is in a less than happy mood around Snatcher? Snatcher also notices, although it takes him awhile to bring it up, worried that they might not want to talk about it. Of course, at first he semi-jokes by saying “Alright. Who’s soul do I have to steal for you?” and things of a similar nature, but eventually he’ll turn serious and bring them up onto his lap, snapping his fingers to wrap them up in a cozy blanket with a nice, warm mug of hot cocoa/coffee/tea suddenly in their hands. He lets them use his floof like a pillow, being less tsundere and more cuddly than usual, letting them talk it out if they want to. Snatcher makes sure to let them know that he really, truly does love them (even if, and he’ll admit it for once, he acts like a giant “soon-deh-ray” most of the time) and cares about their happiness and well-being. And if comforting them means swallowing his pride, then he won’t have to think twice before making that decision, because they are his all, his everything, and he wouldn’t give them up for anyone else in the world.

If you'd be willing, could you do some hcs about smatcher & moonie who have a S/O who has ptsd, kinda similar to them, but from their biological mother? I see my mother a lot in Venessa, so I tend to mentally cling to snatcher n mj bc they remind me a bit of what I went through, I wish I could be there for them to help ease over the pain, yaknow?
Sure! I can understand having them as comfort characters! (But if you don’t mind, I won’t outright say the S/O’s previous abusive relationship and keep it very vague, that way it can be more inclusive. I’ll also throw in some extra HCs with Snatcher and Moonjumper dealing with their own trauma/PTSD) Also! Just a fair warning, I know nothing about this but I’ll try my best, so if any of these HCs seem insensitive please let me know and I’ll fix them right away! (Warning for mentions of abuse and past trauma under the cut!)
We all know that Snatcher is generally loud with his voice, even when speaking normally. However, if S/O tends to cringe at loud or heightened voices, Snatcher actually starts to become more quiet around them. He speaks softer, in hushed tones, and even when he’s angry or upset he reassures them that everything’s alright and that he’s not too mad at them. It’s rare to hear Snatcher speaking so normally, but if it comforts S/O then he’ll speak as quiet as he possibly can around them. And if S/O happens to be having a traumatic episode or a panic/anxiety attack? He will be especially quiet around them, showing the softer side of himself for once by holding them in his arms (if they don’t mind) and promising them that they’re okay and he’s here if they need him.
Moonjumper tends to be very clingy, wanting plenty of hugs and cuddles from S/O. But once he finds out that S/O is uncomfortable with sudden physical touch (after the giving them a surprise hug on accident), he makes a vow right then and there to always ask before even thinking about touching them again. If they say no, they’re not comfortable with that just yet, then he’ll be sure keep his distance while still giving them encouraging words and compliments. But if they say yes, he’ll be extremely gentle with them, hugging them so lightly he’s barely even touching them, or being very considerate when holding their hand, asking them again and again if they’re alright with what he’s doing before going any further.
Snatcher has a habit of sneaking up on people and scaring them as “pranks”, but with S/O it’s actually quite the opposite. They are the only one who he never does his normal routine with and/or tries to jumpscare (he made that mistake when he first introduced himself to them, and now he’s promised never to scare them like that again). He tends to tap their shoulders lightly and tries to announce himself before teleporting next to them or popping out of the ground randomly. It’s tough, because Snatcher really wants to be his normal, menacing self, but he puts their comfort first because he wants them to feel safer around him.
If S/O has depressive moments and/or deals with intrusive thoughts because of their PTSD, Moonjumper tries his hardest to encourage them and find ways to make them smile and feel happy. Like with a previous HC I mentioned, Moonjumper gifts them blankets, pillows, and/or plushies, but now he gives them to S/O whenever they’re in need of comfort or as a way to de-stress. If they’re okay with more physical affection, he’ll cradle them in his arms gently, telling them just how much he loves them and that they’re perfect just the way they are. And while he knows he can’t make their depression or intrusive thoughts go away completely, he will try his best to make sure they know that they are loved, despite what their brain tells them.
Now, with both Snatcher and Moonjumper, they tend to have nightmares about their trauma from the past. But if S/O has the same problem? They’ll both try to wake S/O up gently, making sure they’re alright and wiping the tears from their eyes if they’re crying. Neither Snatcher or Moonjumper will try to push, so S/O doesn’t have to tell them about the nightmare if they don’t want to, but they still hold S/O close, hushing and comforting them until they can fall back asleep again. If S/O has trouble falling asleep, however, Snatcher offers to read one of his law books to them and Moonjumper will offer to sing a lullaby for them. Neither of them will fall back asleep until S/O has, making sure they’re safe before doing so (they’re both ghosts, so sleep isn’t really necessary for them).
No matter who the person is that S/O has distanced themselves from (an abusive family member, a past lover, or even just a toxic friend), both Snatcher and Moonjumper promise S/O that they will both keep them far away from said individual(s) as possible. Both of them become very protect around S/O, even Moonjumper, and they reassure S/O that they will never let anyone hurt them ever again (even if no harm was actually done to S/O, they’ll still be protective of them and make sure they’re safe). Snatcher and Moonjumper also take note of things and tiggers that remind S/O of there past trauma, making sure to avoid the topics all together or help them through those issues, whichever it may be.
Snatcher & Moonjumper HCs:
During winter, Snatcher becomes very...distant, for obvious reasons. He doesn’t like the snow, ice, or the cold in general, because it reminds him too much of her. He’s very reclusive when this happens, refusing to go out into the cold at first. But, with a lot of convincing, S/O helps Snatcher overcome this, bringing him out into the snow slowly, hand-in-hand, showing them that there’s nothing to be afraid of. S/O might even convince him to have some fun playing in the snow; having a snowball fight with Hat Kid, Bow Kid, Mu, and even the Subconites, making snowpeople, snowforts, and snowangels. And when all’s said and done, Snatcher and S/O get to cuddle up close to one another, with some hot cocoa and a good book as the snow continues to fall outside. Snatcher mutters a quiet “thank you” to them, for helping him feel happy for the first time in years.
Moonjumper has a conditional sense of perfection, scolding himself whenever he thinks he’s not acting politely enough or even when he makes little mistakes (I bet you can guess where that came from). It gets so bad, to where when he really does mess up badly, he flinches at S/O sudden movements. It’s a reflex, as Vanessa used to slap the Prince across the face if he ever made her upset. And while he knows very well that S/O is nothing like Vanessa, and they would never hurt him, it still brings back some unpleasant memories and he apologizes to them for “not being good enough.” If S/O reassures him, telling him that he is enough and that he shouldn’t worry about trying to impress them, Moon will then embrace them, crying happy tears and saying how much he loves them over and over.
Snatcher has a similar thing like with Moonjumper, where he doesn’t like sudden or abrupt touches. If someone were to hug him or touch him suddenly, with no warning, he’d flinch, before calming down once he realizes there’s no danger (unless it’s someone he really doesn’t like, then they’d better run). It takes awhile for Snatcher to become used to physical contact, but it takes surprisingly less time with people he trusts, like S/O. He finds it very considerate when S/O asks him for permission before hugging him, holding his hand, and especially kissing him, liking how slow and patient they are with him. And when Snatcher displays some of his nervous habits, like fidgeting with his claws or grabbing at his wrists, he finds it comforting when S/O asks him what’s wrong and offers to cuddle him, which he gladly accepts.
(This HC is a bit more angsty, so fair warning) Moonjumper has scars that he, at first, hides from S/O. He has slash marks (ones that look eerily like claw marks) that adorn his chest, shoulders, arms, and thighs; white marks that stand out from his blue skin. No surprise here, they came from Vanessa (after she had turned monstrous) and he hides these scars because they bring back unpleasant memories of his time locked away in the basement... that, and he’s very self-conscious about them, fearing that S/O might find them disgusting. But when he finally does decides to show them, after S/O convinces him, he finds their reassurance heart-warming, with them showing empathy/sympathy for what happened to him and letting him know that he isn’t ugly or unattractive because of his scars.
Back to the nightmares HC, whenever Snatcher or Moonjumper wakes up from a nightmare, they usually wake up S/O in the process. With Moonjumper he’s immediately crying, curling up to S/O suddenly and hugging them tight, like he’s afraid they’ll disappear. With Snatcher, it’s rare to see him cry, and at first he’ll be defensive about it if S/O finds out... but eventually he’ll give into them trying to comfort him, holding them close and reluctantly asking for cuddles so he can calm down again. In both cases, both of the ghosts feel much better talking it out with S/O and having them in their arms, falling back asleep once they know they’re safe and, more importantly, that their S/O is safe.
Whenever they’re reminder of Vanessa, both Snatcher and Moonjumper act differently. With Snatcher, he becomes more distant and irritable, shutting himself down emotionally and keeping away from others. With Moonjumper, he becomes reminiscent and sorrowful, knowing that while he doesn’t love Vanessa anymore, little things still tend to remind him of her, so it’s hard for him to let go of the memories of what they once had. In both cases, it helps tremendously when S/O offers to comfort either Snatcher or Moonjumper. It will take plenty of time patience with Snatcher, as he normally pushes anyone away who even tries to bring up his past, but eventually he welcomes S/O help and kind words. And with Moonjumper, even he is reluctant to open up at first, thinking that his feelings are unnecessary or foolish, but when S/O offers to listen to him it’s a huge weight off his shoulders. In both cases, both ghosts make it clear to S/O just how lucky they are to have such an understanding soulmate, and that they’re so happy they gave love another chance.

so uhhhhhhhhhh, can i order "snatcher's reaction to pregnant so" head cannons? no pedophilia and extra cheese?
Of course, I’ll even add in some baby headcannons with the order! (Although I’m not going in to explain how the heck a ghost can get a mortal pregnant. Use your own imagination-)
While they were both certainly trying for a baby at some point, the pregnancy is still a bit unexpected. And when S/O tells Snatcher that they’re pregnant out of the blue, he freaks. Mostly because he had no clue this would happen so fast (with him being a ghost and all), but also because he’s going to be a dad. Which Snatcher is both excited, and terrified at the thought of this.
But despite the sudden shock, Snatcher still wants to help S/O in any way he can! They work together with buying baby supplies and getting used to this whole “parenting” business. Snatcher even tries to pick up a few books on this! Though S/O still has to help him along the way…
They even get a baby room set up together! Though it isn’t like a normal baby room, obviously. It’s decked out to look more Subcon-y! (Thanks to Snatcher’s decorating) With haunted forest wallpaper, ghost-themed blankets and plushies, and even a Dweller mobile for the cradle!
Snatcher will defiantly help S/O whenever they have morning sickness or if they’re feeling aches. He tries to comfort them, gives them encouraging words, or help them feel more comfortable if they’re too sick to get out of bed.
Unrelated, but Moonjumper is very happy for them and excited at the news! (He’s the first one to find out before they announce it, much to Snatcher’s dismay) Moon even knits little clothes and makes toys for the baby. But Snatcher tends to throw away some of the toys…
Since this isn’t a normal baby, this leads to some really weird cravings for S/O. Particularly a craving for souls…which is a bit odd. Snatcher tries to help S/O through this, and keep them away from his souls stash at all times. (Mortals can’t eat souls, with the result being extremely dangerous)
As for when the baby is finally born? Well…
Snatcher has no idea how to hold a baby, and is kind of afraid to. But S/O tries to keep him calm long enough so he can hold them. And Snatcher may have shed a few tears over how small and precious they are. Just a few.
You know how parents teach their kids how to walk? Well…this baby needs to learn how to walk, fly, teleport, and shapeshift! S/O can help with the first part, but Snatcher takes the lead from there. But S/O helps by catching the baby’s first teleportation on camera!
Guess what the baby’s first word is? Not “dada.” Not “mama.” Instead it’s the tiniest, most cutest “fwooooool!” you have ever heard. And Snatcher is so unbelievably proud of his tiny ghost baby.
Snatcher can handle playing with the baby very well! In his own way, that is. “Peek-a-boo!” and “Tickle Monster” are the baby’s personal favorites. But only if Snatcher gets to put his own spooky twist on it.
Snatcher still tries to appear menacing, even when the baby is around. This might lead to the baby picking up some…bad habits. Like hissing at people they don’t like or starting small fires for fun! And S/O has to fuss at Snatcher for this every time.
The roles have been reversed! CC is the number one babysitter that Snatcher and S/O turn to when they’re busy. Even though Moonjumper has offered to care for the baby more than once, Snatcher has declined. He just doesn’t like Moon being around his kid…for obvious reasons.

A! If your still doing x readers hcs and stuff,,, snatcher with his royal s/o hcs?,, COUGH- hehe,,
Woot!! The power of royal match-making, here we go!
At first, there’s some expected dispute over the ruling of Subcon (who is control of what, who gets to make the rules and decisions, etc). Slowly but surely, Snatcher learns to give his royal S/O some of the power of ruling over Subcon. Later on, it even gets to the point where Snatcher takes commands from his S/O! Basically, if S/O ever asks Snatcher do to something for them, he’d reply with a “Yes, dear~” and show them the utmost respect, just to show how much he cares about them.
If Snatcher ever over-works himself, his S/O offers to help with his “kingly duties”. Basically, S/O does Snatcher’s job for a period of time so Snatcher can get some much needed rest. And Snatcher makes sure to return the favor for them as well! He also gives them a break of their royal duties, letting them relax and have the day off.
You know the phrase “giving someone the royal treatment”? Well, Snatcher happens to do just that! Since his S/O happens to be a literal royal, he praises them and offers them plenty of gifts and pleasantries. In other words, Snatcher literally treats them like a king/queen.
Speaking of gifts, since Snatcher knows how to sew somewhat, he makes his S/O fancy royal outfits! While most of these outfits tend to be royal purple with gold accents (hint, hint), Snatcher does also make his S/O outfits that he knows they will love! In their favorite color, with comfortable fabrics, not to mention the clothes are just the right size and incredibly cozy! He’ll even gift them jewelry to go with the outfits if they wish!
When Snatcher takes his S/O out on a date, he doesn’t mess around. He goes all the way, setting up literal candlelit dinners in Subcon, making sure everything is absolutely perfect for his loved one! Or, if his S/O so requests, he does whatever romantic setting they want for a date. Want an extremely fancy and extravagant date? Or how about simple picnic underneath the stars? Whatever they request, Snatcher will get nothing but the best for his king/queen.
Just because they’re both royals, however, doesn’t mean that they don’t get away with flirting with each other. Snatcher, teasingly, calls his S/O his darling king/queen, giving them a smug smile every time they’re flustered by this. S/O can get their revenge, however, if they call Snatcher by “Your Majesty~” or “My handsome king~”. If that’s the case, they better be prepared for a very flustered and blushy Snatcher.
S/O eventually comes around to Snatcher’s dark sense of humor, joking about “executions” and/or enforcing stupid laws. They’re just having a bit of fun teasing the subjects of Subcon, of course (it’s not like they could hold executions anyways, since their subjects are all ghosts).
S/O tries to learn more about law, to help Snatcher with his “contracting business”. And Snatcher is more than happy to help them learn! He offers all of his favorite law books and plenty of clerical supplies to them, helping them if they’re ever confused or need assistance. It eventually gets to the point where S/O knows a good deal of law! And Snatcher and them bond over this, using their knowledge of law for serious business, or for other things (like S/O making a contract to go on a date with and/or kiss Snatcher, and vise versa).
If S/O happens to be gifted in magic, especially fire magic, both them and Snatcher practicing dueling with each other! They make sure not to attack each other too much, of course, and afterwards they make sure to care for each other in case they wound themselves in practice. Snatcher also tends to use his fire magic to impress his S/O, making little fire/smoke hearts for them while they do the same with their own magic!
While you wouldn’t expect it from him, Snatcher tends to act more royally towards his S/O! He wants to impress them, so he gets some advice from Moonjumper on how to woo them. Snatcher learns better manners, dresses fancily, and even asks to dance with his king/queen! And since his S/O definitely notices this, they comment on it while the two of them are dancing. They say that, while the date is lovely, they’d much rather have Snatcher be comfortable with being himself. Snatcher is touched by their words, smothering them affection and admiration afterwards.
(This one’s kinda hurt comfort-based) Snatcher, unfortunately, still has the occasionally nightmare or reminder of Vanessa. But luckily for him, his S/O is there to comfort him after a bad dream/experience. They litter him with affection and treats him tenderly, helping Snatcher regain his calm. And Snatcher is more than happy for this, telling his S/O that they are a far better royal sweetheart than Vanessa ever was, and that he’s the luckiest king alive to have them rule Subcon by his side.
If Snatcher ever wants their royalty to be official, he proposes to his S/O with a beautiful, specially-made crown. He makes sure the occasion is especially perfect, proposing to them on one of their more romantic dates. The royal wedding is held in Subcon, of course, and it’s a glorious occasion! And Snatcher is more than happy that he’s getting married to the real love of his (after)life, and that they are now officially bound in a royal marriage. He wouldn’t trade his king/queen for the world~
