Moomoos on tumblr, we need to talk. Why is there barely new MMM content on this app? Our fandom isn't dead, am I right? Honestly, Travel era was one of the best comebacks, especially during covid. The diversity of the album, the potential title tracks Chuck, AYA and Dingga couldn't be more different, yet they all match the unique Mamamoo vibe perfectly. So let's take a look at Byul's iconic rap part:

Do I have to explain why we love everything about this? The outfits, the slaying choreography, the catchy lyrics (You're a criminal neujeosseo imi neon 🫠), the whole concept is just superior.

Moonbyul performing iconic kpop songs of the 2000s with the members was a cultural reset.

First of all: Can we please give their stylists a raise? They look GEORGEOUS 😍

Second of all: They ate and left no crumbs. Byul's rap = chef's kiss. It altered my brain chemistry. Not speaking about her vocals. So glad she got that singing part.

Last but not least: That wink. No need to comment, right?

Moomoo's! Thanks for interacting with my latest post about Byulyi's iconic rap part in AYA. Sadly we have to move on to take a look on another chapter of Mamamoo history: My very beloved Mic On era with the epic title track

When the album came out, the title track had to grow on me tbh. Buuut, as usual, after a few times of listening, it got me so bad.

First of all, the whole concept is so bold and diverse that I couldn't even imagine how they would go together in just one MV. But we see how perfectly all fits together.

Secondly, the outfits, like EVERY SINGLE ONE, are just chef's kiss. Give their stylists a damn raise.

Nooow let's take a look at Moonbyul rap parts. I personally think that all of them are great examples of her talent, so it was very hard to choose one. So I took the part that I thought would be a little bit more iconic (even thoughI'msure that I'll take a look on the other one too):

I think the flow in this part is super catchy and I love how Moonbyul varies her last line in every single performance. Her deep voice whispering "Don't go" takes me straight to heaven. Or to hell. Or to horny jail.

And obviously I'm a simp for Moonbyul with a hat and piercings, but at this point, I am a simp for everything she does or wears 😂

It makes me kind of sad that this was the last OT4 comeback we've got (already in 2022!), but I'm sure it wasn't the last one. And I'm very curious about their next album! Maybe we'll get a surprise for their 10th anniversary 👀

I know I've posted about this iconic MMM performance only two days ago BUT recently I can't stop thinking about it, so here comes another appreciation post. And there's no such thing as too much MMM content, am I right?

So we all know about Byulyi's rap talent, but in cover songs you really see how many different musical styles and genres she can cover.

I'm really not a fan of ideologies, but if this part were a religion, I would convert right away. I mean, the deep voice, the wink, the facial expression leave me BREATHLESS

Also: Her self-confidence in this whole performance is unmatched. She knows exactly what she's doing and she knows that we know *internally screaming*
