You know why I love this short moment so much?

Marc being immeditaly ready to accept that Steven isnt the only personality inside him. But also completly ignores it. Being like: "Thats a problem for later... or never." So he knew all along that his mind is more broken then he likes to admit. Thats the "fun" part.

Now the part that completly breaks me. Marc created Steven to protect himself from the abuse, the suffering, the angst. But at this point Steven has become a being of himself. Not just the flip side of a coin, but his own coin. And Marc cares for Steven deeply. Steven was created as a carefree being who doesn't see the abuse, who doesn't feel it. But at this point Steven is not just a buffer anymore, but - as i said - a being of himself, and Marc would do everything so Steven keeps being innocent, happy (?), uneffected by the voilence around him.

At the begining, it was like: Steven - who, without knowing it - protects Marc's mind from the abuse

But now it is Marc who stands in front of Steven and protects him from the voilence around him. This is also why Marcs "Steven, you have to stop looking!" hits so hard. And then he thinks Steven was forced to kill... Dont mind me, while I go away and cry a little bit
