Happy Halloween, everyone!
I've got some good news - I've finished tallying up the results of the favourite anime survey and can now, finally, reveal what Tumblr's favourite anime actually are. To start with, I'd like to thank everyone who responded - yes, all 1172 (wow!) of you - and to apologise for he delay in actually getting these results out. For anyone who needs a reminder, these results are based on how many points each anime received - a first place ranking was worth five points, a second or third place ranking was worth four, a fourth or fifth place ranking was worth three, a sixth-tenth place ranking was worth two, and a eleventh-twentieth place ranking was worth one. When multiple anime had the same number of points, the anime with the most first-place votes was placed higher. The results are below the read more right here - I hope you enjoy reading!

not sure if you’ve done this yet but top komiya cards?
surprised this one wasn't asked for earlier than it was tbh, tomokazu komiya's cards are so weird and wild and always stand out in whatever set they're in. they've been around since the Neo era so this was super hard to narrow down to just 10.

what do you think is the reason for baelor breakspear, the literal crown prince, marrying jena dondarrion, a lady from a very minor house in the dornish marches who presumably didnt like the dornish very much? could it have been daeron ii arranging this marriage to curry favour with dorne's enemies by marrying his very dornish son to a marcher lord's daughter and thus in a way simulating peace between the marchers and the dornish in the eyes of the realm? or could it have been a way to keep the blackfyre supporters in line assuming baelor married after the first rebellion, since one of the reasons for the uprising was anti-dornish sentiment?
Number one, I don’t think we can call the Dondarrions “a very minor House”. Indeed, Yandel himself counts the Dondarrions (alongside the Swanns, Selmys, and Carons) as one of “[t]he greatest of the Marcher lords” and refers to the Dondarrion seat of Blackhaven as “[a]mong the sternest of the Marcher seats … with its forbidding black basalt walls and bottomless dry moat”. Lord Harmon Dondarrion seems to have been of equal rank to Lord Tarly and Lady Caron, as all served as commanders during the campaign in Aenys I’s reign against the Vulture King, and Lord Dondarrion served as one of the three Marcher representatives at the wedding of Queen Alyssa and Rogar Baratheon. Queen Alysanne clearly considered the Dondarrions important enough to include on the royal couple’s tour of the Dornish Marches in 54 AC, and later a Dondarrion was one of the “dozen fresh young maidens chosen from amongst a hundred who coveted the distinction of serving as a companion to the queen [i.e. Alysanne]" - proof, I think, of the rank of the Dondarrions even relative to other Westerosi aristocrats. Notably as well in the main novels, Sansa thinks that while Jeyne Poole - herself an aristocrat, albeit an actually low-ranking and probably landless one - mooned after Lord Beric, the Lord of Blackhaven “would never look at someone so far beneath him”.
Number two, it seems almost certain that Baelor and Jena were married prior to the First Blackfyre Rebellion. Valarr, their elder son, was not only old enough to joust as a knight at Ashford in 209 AC, suggesting that Valarr was at least 16 or so at that time, but was also big and tall enough for his nearly 40-year-old warrior father to plausibly borrow and wear his armor during the trial of seven, suggesting that Valarr was old enough to have reached his adult build and height. Personally, I think Baelor and Jena were married roughly around the mid to late 180s and Valarr was born around the late 180s, but whenever the actual wedding occurred, it’s impossible that Valarr was born in or after 196 AC, and as such his parents had to have been married ahead of the First Blackfyre Rebellion.
All of that said, why do I think Prince Baelor and Jena Dondarrion were married? Put very simply, I think Daeron II correctly recognized the fault lines of political factionalism in his kingdom and wanted to repair, rather than deepen, those divisions. From the beginning of his reign, King Daeron had very publicly advertised his desire to unite Dorne with the Targaryen kingdom. Not only was Daeron himself happily married to Myriah Martell, but as Yandel notes, “one of [Daeron’s] earliest significant acts after assuming the throne was to begin negotiations with his good-brother, Prince Maron, to unify Dorne under Targaryen rule” - negotiations which ended with the homage of Prince Maron and his wedding to the king’s sister, Princess Daenerys. Between the unique “significant rights and privileges” granted to the Dornish lords and the Prince of Dorne in particular in the peace accord, and the Dornishmen who were given places at court and “offices of note” under Daeron II, the king was making very clear that his government was openly and ardently pro-Dorne.
Yet as Daeron II certainly realized, such courtly and political favoritism toward Dorne generally and House Martell specifically would hardly be received rapturously by the entirety of his realm. From the earliest days of the Targaryen monarchy, the dragonkings had, in the tradition of the Plantagenets and any number of other real-world monarchies, claimed dominion over Dorne, in title if not in fact. Daeron I had come closest, if relatively briefly, to making this paper crown of "King of the Rhoynar" a reality, and Daeron II’s own father Aegon IV had (albeit almost certainly for selfish and petty reasons) attempted to reignite (pun intended) the conquest of Dorne by House Targaryen. Daeron II’s pro-Dorne policies, then, were very much poised to be seen, at least by some of his subjects, as a jarring reversal away from a century and a half of Targaryen posturing and conquest and toward a political reality where the Dornish were, to borrow Yandel’s phrase, “rivals for the king’s attention or largesse”. That suspicion extended to Daeron’s heir: according to Yandel, “many men looked upon Baelor’s dark hair and eyes and muttered that he was more Martell than Targaryen”. This Martell-looking eldest son of a Martell queen, double first cousins with the future of the ruling dynasty of Dorne, may have seemed to suspicious factions to be the living guarantee that Martell, and more generally Dornish, royal favor was going to continue, if not indeed be increased, in the next generation of the Targaryen monarchy.
The solution, I think, for Daeron II was to marry his eldest son and heir into one of the marcher lord dynasties. These families, founded explicitly according to Yandel to “[protect] the realm of the Storm Kings from the ancient enemies to the west and, especially, the south” and to “create a bulwark against incursions from the Dornish”, would almost certainly have been the most natural opponents of Daeron II’s pro-Dorne policies (and, given their famous pride, perhaps among the most vocal in their opposition). By choosing from among these lords for not just his daughter-in-law but the future (expected) Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and (expected) mother of the next king, Daeron II was making just as public a statement that his was not a client state of Sunspear but a united realm - one in which the proud marchers would have just as much opportunity for courtly favor and advancement as the Martells and other Dornish nobles did. The Dondarrions, and by extension any of their relatives and allies among the marchers, would be directly invested in the dynasty, with a tangible incentive for supporting Daeron II’s government (as opposed to, say, looking to Daemon Blackfyre as a rival for the throne). Too, if I can quote myself, the future (expected) royal children of Baelor and Jena, especially their (expected) eldest son and heir, “would be a microcosm of the peace Daeron sought”, as “Dornish blood and marcher blood, eternally spilled at the other’s expense, would mingle in a single person, a future king of the united state of Westeros”.
One question I do have - though we’ll probably have to wait until Fire and Blood Volume 2 for an answer - is why Daeron II selected a Dondarrion rather than, say, a Swann or Caron. It could be that there were no daughters of the right age among any of other other prominent marcher families; it could be that Daeron II knew or liked Jena’s family more than he did, say, other marcher families; it could even be that Daeron chose the Dondarrions to temper the local geopolitical ambitions of the Swanns and Carons to each be counted “the oldest of the Marcher houses” and superior over the rest, with the king perhaps quietly reminding the Swanns and Carons that he had the power to humble as well as exalt.
(Let's just hope that F&B Vol. 2 improves upon its predecessor and has Jena as an active, developed crown princess and would-be queen, rather than a walking womb or - ugh - another victim of death-by-childbirth.)

April 13, Xi'an, China, Shaanxi Archaeology Museum/陕西考古博物馆 (Part 3 - Qin dynasty to Sui dynasty):
First up is one of many bronze edict tablets of the 2nd emperor of Qin dynasty, made in 209 BC. Inscribed upon it in Seal script is one of two edicts, specifically the one from the 2nd emperor of Qin dynasty (秦二世), which basically is a continuation of Qin Shi Huang's edict on standardizing all weights and measurements. Here Qin Shi Huang/秦始皇 is referred to as Shi Huangdi/始皇帝, where shi/始 means "origin", and huangdi/皇帝 means "emperor".
^The edict inscribed is as follows (this is my VERY rough translation, please take this with a grain of salt, I'm not great at reading Old Chinese; original text is on bottom right of picture):
“First year (209 BC; first year of 2nd Emperor of Qin's reign), [We] issued an edict to chancellors Li Si and Feng Quji: Shi Huangdi pioneered this effort to standardize all weights and measurements, since then all such edicts have been inscribed on bronze. Now that [We have] inherited this Huangdi title, [We] shall not refer to Ourselves as Shi Huangdi here. Likewise, should Our descendants continue to produce tablets of Shi Huangdi's edict, they shall not take credit for Shi Huangdi's achievements. [We] hereby inscribe this edict on the left, so that all may be clear."
Ever since Qin Shi Huang tried to standardize systems of measurements for the entire country, every dynasty since Qin dynasty has also done the same. These are the standardized weights and volume measurements (all made with bronze) from Western Han dynasty (202 - 8 BC). Those volume measurement tools are very much like oversized measurement spoons, since they are mostly used to measure liquids and grains (in ancient China grains can be measured by volume).
Looks like I forgot about this one in part 2, this is a bronze sword from Warring States period (475 - 221 BC), I believe. It's decorated with carved pieces of jade (some are on the scabbard, but the scabbard has presumably decomposed over time):
The painted and carved stone doorway to a Eastern Han dynasty (25 - 220 AD) tomb. The actual (double) doors are in the middle, and the pieces around them are the side jambs and the lintel. Note the animals, mythical creatures, and humans depicted. On the double doors, in order from top to bottom, there's a pair of Zhuque/朱雀/Vermilion Bird, a pair of symbolic door knockers shaped like a beast carrying a ring in its mouth, and a pair of oxen. On the top right and top left of the lintel piece, you can also clearly see the sun crow and the moon toad, respectively.
The layout of some Western Han dynasty (202 - 8 BC) mausoleums. Note that the "pyramids" on the model aren't stone pyramids like the Great Pyramid of Giza, they are actually fengtu/封土, or artificial mounds of earth on top of the actual tomb to symbolically seal the tomb (feng/封 means "seal" or "to seal"), and can serve as tomb markers. Fengtu can differ vastly in size according to the social status of the deceased, so the fengtu of imperial tombs are usually huge, some so big that they are like small hills. However, while Western Han dynasty imperial tombs have these square-ish fengtu mounds, in Eastern Han dynasty (25 - 220 AD) the fengtu mounds became circular, and imperial tomb fengtu have been circular pretty much ever since. But fengtu wasn't just reserved for the elites, common folk also built small circular fengtu mounds on top of graves (these graves are called fen/坟; graves without fengtu are called mu/墓), and this is still practiced today, albeit much more common in rural areas since there are less people and more land. When people tend to the graves of their family members and ancestors on Qingming Festival, if the grave is a fen grave, people would pile more earth on the fengtu to make it rounder as part of the upkeep process.
A set of pottery figurines of entertainers from a Western Han era tomb. I love how they set the display up here, you can practically imagine the music and the dancing
More pottery figurines from Western Han era tombs
Western Han era hollow clay bricks depicting the Four Symbols/四象 of the cardinal directions: Qinglong/青龙/Azure Dragon of the East, Zhuque/朱雀/Vermilion Bird of the South, Xuanwu/玄武/Black Tortoise of the North, and Baihu/白虎/White Tiger of the West.
Left: a piece of intricately painted lacquered wood, I forgot where it's from but it was probably a piece of decoration on a larger artifact. Right: a piece of gold decoration inlaid with turquoise from Western Han era
The biggest decorated yubi/玉璧 (jade disc with hole in the middle) found so far, from an early Western Han dynasty tomb. Its diameter is 43.2 cm (~17 inches). If you zoom in, the inner band is decorated with these almost tadpole-like little swirls, and these are called gu pattern/谷纹, since they might represent sprouting rice kernels. The outer band is decorated with 4 sets of kuilong patterns/夔龙纹 and 4 sets of dragon-phoenix patterns/龙凤纹. It's speculated that the patterns here together depict the universe, and the hole in the middle is where the spirit of the deceased will travel through. This particular yubi also has 六百六十一 ("six hundred and sixty-one") carved discreetly on the side, presumably a "serial number" left by the artisan who crafted this piece.
Decorated backs of bronze mirrors. I didn't take a picture of the plaque so I'm unclear on what time period these are from (may or may not be from the time period indicated at the beginning of the post):
Left: a hand-held incense burner. Right: a particular type of incense burner called a boshanlu/博山炉, so named because the lid was made to look like a mini mountain
Various Northern Zhou dynasty (557 - 581 AD) painted pottery figurines. Below middle arranged in a circle is the metal pieces on a belt.
Sixteen Kingoms era pottery entertainer figurines:

"'You're bastard born yourself. And if Ygritte does not want a child, she will go to some woods witch and drink a cup o' moon tea. You do not come into it, once the seed is planted'" (Tormund, to Jon Snow, p. 209, A Storm of Swords).
Even the wildlings know about moon tea and use it as birth control. If Rhaenyra didn't want three obvious bastards but wanted sexual freedom, she could have used moon tea. Not only was it in two episodes of House of the Dragon but it's in the original ASOIAF series. Even if Jace was unintentionally born as an obvious bastard who looked nothing like either of his "parents" Rhaenyra could have prevented more from following him by using a clearly established and well-known form of birth control. If she had one heir she would fulfill her obligation of producing an heir and there would be less speculation as to who she was bedding vs three repeat lookalike bastards. Except Rhaenyra believed herself to be above the rules, so why would it matter if her children were obviously illegitimate? Nobody should question her, because she believes she is innately superior and entitled to do whatever she pleases, no matter the consequences to others (including her bastard sons, who grow up knowing their illegitimacy yet unable to speak of it to anyone, not to mention the danger their mother puts them in by trying to use them to usurp power).

𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓
a potential daemon targaryen love story
full version
𝘸𝘤: 209
・❥・
𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭
Daemon Targaryen, the rogue prince of Westeros was far from pure. He was ruthless, stubborn, arrogant, and most of all, powerful. His blood was equivalent to a dragon, forged from the fiery pits of the seven hells. He was the deliverer of chaos and destruction, and no one was able to tame his savage inferno.
All until one; her.
She was the epitome of ethereal, a beauty so delicate, so pure in a way that she was too perfect for this world— too perfect for him. She was an angel forged of the purest light with hair as bright as the moon, skin as white as snow, and her eyes—
her eyes held magic.
Full of light, full of innocence, full of stars.
Starry eyes that had him hypnotized.
Starry eyes that had him vow to do anything in his power to keep their light kindle endlessly.
Starry eyes that made him stumble, but it was her smile that made him fall.
She was a blessing from the gods. A wish upon a shooting star. If he could, he would tear the whole world apart just to rebuild it brick by brick to a standard he deemed worthy of her existence. Worthy of her light— worthy of his light.
(𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒅...?)

What have I been doing instead of writing or classwork? Modding BG3 and making my OCs, of course!
I posted pics before when I only had the vanilla game assets available.
First is the story's interpretation of what Astarion looked like before turning. Yes, I accept other interpretations of what he looked like, such as different eye colors or even his hair color. This is not what I believe to be the most-likely scenario for canon pre-vampirism Astarion.
(If you don't care about my story's OCs, then don't bother with the read more break. It is there as a courtesy to those who just want Astarion as well as to avoid how loooong this post will be.)
Mods used: Toarie's New Character Creation Presets (Andrei head, which I'm fairly certain is a tweaked Astarion with no bite marks, clearer skin, etc), Vessnelle's Hair Collection (M3, it's still not what I wanted but it was the best I could find, his hair should be more like ringlets and in a higher ponytail and no/different bangs) Other settings: Pallid Tone 1 Skin, Elf Gold 2 Eyes, White 3 + 75% Greying (Grey Neutral 2)
Eletha Nightstar/Lorelai Irithyl
Mods used: ASTRL Hair Color Supplement (Eletha has some more greying/highlighting involved) Changes for Lorelai: Toned down the make-up that was making Eletha look "tired", two blue eyes, No scars, No piercings, Less aging, Hair is vanilla "Sorcha Curls" Notes: I ended up not changing Eletha pretty much at all, all I would change is making her lips thinner Character Notes:

Folk Hero: not as famous as the Blade of Frontiers, but has probably done more and has a little following of adventurers, despite her best efforts to dissuade them
Left her family in 1260 after being forced to give birth
Magic Left (Gold) Eye: allows the wearer to see things as they were in memories

wanted to share some ideas about the future s2 eps
Okay so we already know 6
.207: We know it will feature mammon. I think it'll be an ep with more fizzarolli backstory, how he got hired, meeting mammon and ozzie etc, plus some Blitz stuff.
.208: Maybe a stolas, octavia, or loona episode since they're the characters that give the most Moon vibes. And full moons have to do wtth wolves so maybe a loona and octavia Girl trip ep?
.209: I have no clue. The emoji makes me think of Beezulbub, but I don't think she'll be appearing again yet. So other than that, it might be an episode about apologies? I actually got nothing for this one haha.
.210: again no clue. I've seen people have the idea of a haunted house job for IMP, and how possibly sinners get to hell or something? Again no idea.
.211: the emoji wants me to think of Satanas, the sin of Wrath. Maybe an episode with him/her? But idk how well that would fit in with "mastermind". But it might make sense since S1 introduced two sins, so S2 might as well. (If this is true, than it'll probaly mean we'll get Levithan, sin of envy, and Belphegor, the sin of sloth, in s3)
.212: Probaly a hell version of Christmas. Interesting but no clue actually other than that.
Send me asks, or comments on the post to discuss more!❤️

these episodes will probably be ass but I am (somewhat) curious on what will happen in them NOW viv posted these titles, so I don’t wanna hear the fandom claim you’re leaking
208 full moon
209 apology tour
210 mastermind
212 Sinmas
Do you think you could give me a breakdown? What could possibly happen in these episodes?
All I can tell you is that Ghostfuckers leaked a year ago and the scenes can be found here, and Full Moon is gonna suck.

celesteela? For the card thing. Love that funky thing
unfortunately there are only 9 Celesteela cards total, and most of them are just generic 5ban graphics 3D renders on blank backgrounds like a lot of the GX cards are. Same goes for most of the Ultra Beasts, they kind of got the short end of the stick here and they each only have a few cards with actual illustrations on them.
...So instead, I'm going to do a top 10 Ultra Beasts in general! (excluding the Cosmog/Necrozma bunch)
10. Poipole (illus. Shin Nagasawa, Sun & Moon - Unified Minds 102/236)
9. Xurkitree (illus. Shin Nagasawa, Sun & Moon - Forbidden Light 39/131)
8. Nihilego GX (illus. 5ban Graphics, Sun & Moon - Crimson Invasion 49/111)
7. Stakataka (illus. Shin Nagasawa, Sun & Moon Promo #209)
6. Naganadel (illus. Shin Nagasawa, Sun & moon - Lost Thunder 108/214)
5. Celesteela (illus. Masakazu Fukuda, Sun & Moon Promo #131)
4. Buzzwole (illus. Anesaki Dynamic, Sun & Moon - Cosmic Eclipse 21/236)
3. Naganadel & Guzzlord (illus. Aya Kusube, Sun & Moon - Cosmic Eclipse 224/236)

Chapter 209 Trivia
Why would you remove your shirts!? And how did you not die of an ebullism before you could artfully arrange your capes around your waists?
The Senku 11 here is a reference to the Apollo 11 spaceflight which landed people on the moon for the first time in 1969.
Also, the return of Suika's full melon helmet!
Aluminum has two usages for the rocket: the body, and fuel. It's strong and light-weight, but alone it can't handle the heat of reentry. This is fine since Senku doesn't plan to return.
As fuel, it needs special conditions to release energy, such as those made with thermite.
Cape York Peninsula is where Senku was headed, specifically for Weipa and Amrun, which account for most of Australia's bauxite production. Australia produces around 105 million metric tons of it per year, compared to China (68 million) and Guinea (64 million).
Bauxite itself is a dull, reddish rock made from a mix of aluminum minerals and iron oxides, and the main raw source of all aluminum on Earth. It's usually strip mined as it's found near the surface, and can be done environmentally responsibly by replacing the topsoil afterward.
A few people seemed confused by this random person here: the KoS had already begun reviving people in Australia (hence the buildings show in the previous panel), but they were running low on supplies to revive/feed the manpower they required to get sufficient amounts of bauxite.
Bucket wheel excavators are some of the largest vehicles ever produced, with a few of them featured in the Guinness World Records for their size, though not all of them are huge. They're used to continuously dig up large amounts of dirt and transport it away using conveyor belts.
In the Japanese version, Gen only says "bake*… Excalibur?" rather than the full joke the English translator @CDCubed came up with, "basket-weave Excalibur".
*Bake here is pronounced "bah-keh", and is a shortened version of "baketto" meaning "bucket".
The ship here has influences from the Americans: zig-zag patterns and stripes. The boat's name seems to be "NXN" but I couldn't find a meaning or a reference for it. It's a catamaran— it has two hulls to increase stability and reduce drag, allowing it to be more fuel-efficient.
The food here is all made from corn: corn tortillas to make burritos and tacos, cornbread muffins, then what I assume is corn chowder or soup.
I hope this isn't Yo since he's clothed in the next image, but Suika appears to be getting flashed by a naked person with spiky hair covering themselves up with a tray…
Last chapter we had a moon phase near the new moon, and this time we have a full moon, meaning at least 2 weeks have passed since the mathlympics.
Ryusui, Senku, and Tsukasa are shown on the surface of the moon, but they are not necessarily the three going on the mission itself. The roles they need to fill are "pilot", "scientist", and "warrior", that trio simply fit.
We also know that Tsukasa's choices were Taiju and Chrome, but that was before Ryusui was introduced.
In addition, we've seen that Chrome won't let Senku go on a suicide mission.
I wonder if we'll get an Australian character added to the team, or if the KoS will move on immediately.
I just think Australian slang would be a great addition with Chelsea and Gen around…

Moon Tea in the ASOIAF Series
In the A Song of Ice and Fire series, and most recently in the first season of The House of the Dragon, a certain tea is mentioned as a form of birth control multiple times. But what is moon tea? According to Lysa Arryn, it's a tea made of "tansy and mint and wormwood, a spoon of honey, and a drop of pennyroyal" that is commonly used to end pregnancy (p. 1114, A Storm of Swords). All of these items can be found in our world. Although there is no record of this specific recipe of tea being used in the past, there is a history of these ingredients being used separately for medicinal purposes that include ending a pregnancy.
Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) is an herb that has been used medicinally since at least Ancient Greece. It has a light degree of toxicity that was useful in targeting internal parasites such as intestinal worms. During the Middle Ages and later, women were known to have consumed larger doses of tansy or tansy tea to end pregnancy. It appears that tansy was also once commonly used to add seasoning to dishes, as it has a specific bitter taste, and some continue to use it as an ingredient in recipes and teas today.
Mint (Mentha spicata) is used today in teas and many other products. Its health benefits are widely recognized today. The Ancient Egyptians were the first to praise mint in 1550 BC and it has been used for a variety of purposes ever since. In a moon tea, this ingredient would likely be included to ease any nausea caused by other ingredients and improve the taste of the tea.
Wormwood (Artemesia absinthium) is still used in teas today, and historically it had medicinal uses in treating upset stomach, among other ailments. Its inclusion in the moon tea recipe is likely to aid the help settle the stomach after drinking the tea.
Honey has been used for its sweet flavor and health benefits for years. In traditional medicine, it is claimed to help with a number of ailments. In the moon tea, this would likely serve the role of helping to improve the taste and make the tea easier to go down.
Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium) continues to be used in teas and was used in folk medicine to cause pregnancy loss. In 1993, Nirvana wrote a song called Pennyroyal Tea, referring to someone taking the herb to try to induce an abortion. Today, some people believe that pennyroyal tea can be a natural treatment for congestion, though the concentrated essential oil of pennyroyal should not be consumed; most essential oils are toxic when ingested, and this one can be lethal.
In the ASOIAF series, these ingredients were relatively easy to come by, and to those living in Westeros, it was well-known that this specific tea was available to women who wanted to prevent or end pregnancy. Beyond Westeros, even the wildlings knew of the tea and its uses - Tormund told Jon Snow as much in A Storm of Swords: "if Ygritte does not want a child, she will go to some woods witch and drink a cup o' moon tea" (p. 209). It seems that women who had access to the tea could use it to prevent pregnancy with relatively little health effects or long term damage being done as long as the tea was correctly prepared. When prepared by someone highly skilled, such as a maester, this likely was more so the case. Not once is the tea mentioned as having deadly effects to its users. Rather, its usefulness and reliability at ending pregnancy in-universe is what is discussed throughout the series. Moon tea was widely available, highly reliable, and relatively safe to use when prepared correctly.
