Additional rant under the cut

Ok so before I started looking into the Moomin franchise, shipping and romance was not at all what I was into until I saw Snufkin and Moomintroll’s relationship. Like- it’s so damn cute?? And angsty??? But unfortunately it never sailed in any official piece of media (at least, not that I’m aware of). WHICH BRINGS TO MY NEXT POINT: I usually avoid shipping non-canon couples (again, not the type of thing I usually do) BUT THIS??? I CRY SM OVER THEM 😭😭

Also, like many other series I fixated on, I got interested in it by seeing out of context stuff. At first I wasn’t a big fan of Little My but I decided to start Moominvalley anyways. Long story short, Little My’s in 1st place, squeezing herself on the podium with Snufkin

Rn, I’m almost halfway in S3 of Moominvalley and at the beginning of the 90s anime. I also really want to watch the Fuzzy Felt vers but I’m having a hard time finding it. I’ll eventually get into the books and comic strips (honestly: I’m reading Moomin in November, fully aware it’s the last book of the series)
