Sometimes a family is a pappa, a mamma, a son, the son's girlfriend, the son's girlfriend's know-it-all brother, the son's boyfriend who goes travelling half the year, the son's boyfriend's tiny, aggressive half sister and another less aggressive sister, a random creature they found on their travels, an ancestor who lives behind the tile stove, and whichever friend of theirs who needs a place to stay for a while.

So season 4 has completely taken over my mind and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Particularly a certain cat dad that showed up during it <w< ❤️💚

I love how they did his personality and GAH HE'S SO CUTE!

(And listen I know by how he acted in the episodes he most likely doesn't know that Snufkin exists or that he is even a father BUT UNTIL THAT IS CONFIRMED- (most likely in that film that went into planning the same time as season 4 went into planning) - I AM GONNA BE LIVING IN MY DELUSIONS AND KEEP DRAWING JOXTER WITH BABY SNUFKIN OKAY! 😭)

This year I wanna start posting pngs of things in my own collection! So no sources, but I will answer questions about where I got things if I can remember. If not I apologize (◡_◡) Also images are grainy cause my camera is not good, I tried to fix them but alas…

1. My Sylvanian Families Hamburger Stand cart (a surprise Christmas gift :D) with my skeleton on top in a funny little position. My skeleton lives in my pencil cup on my desk, he has no name, but he is my friend.

2. These are two frogs I sewed myself!!!! My very talented friend taught me how. They’re wonky, but cute! They had names…at some point lol.

3. My Snufkin figure from Japan (thanks Buyee). He was a freebie with a Snufkin plush I bought. I love that he’s holding a lemon.

4. Two food trays from that previously mention Sylvanian set. They’re just soooo cute.

HII ok so would anyone believe me if i said i'm like 17 pages into my Moominvalley S4 rewrite......

yeah so! here are some fake storyboards i've come up with for a few of the episodes i have plotted out! right now, i've only got about half the episodes with a rough plot, but i've written a crap ton of analysis for each character arc, episode, and overall narrative and how they could be improved, especially since i felt really... unsatisfied with the final season? it didn't feel like a satisfying conclusion to the characters nor story as a whole (due to a lottt of problems, but i think i've rambled about them for too long lol), so i plan to rewrite that fourth season through a mix of art and writing to attempt to give this show the impactful ending it deserves :]

SIBLINGS III.

*deep breath* well... these ones made me sad :-( I'd classify this era for the mymble-siblings as "the UNhappy years".

Here's what my brain imagines so far:

Mymble, ever the romantic and dreaming of her one true love, is easy to fall in love, only to have her heart broken, again and again... and again. Snufkin is always there to comfort her.

Little My has become resentful (jealous?) of her older sister, judging her for her naivety and doing her very best to be a nuisance. There isn't much better to do anyways in this household.

Snufkin, struggling to be seen in the enormous family, has resulted in him losing his voice. He only interacts with Mymble and Little My, who seem to understand him despite his silence. But he has had enough and devices a plan...

ugh, I could continue spinning this story!! Also, Snufkin is wearing one of his sisters' old dresses. He's not pleased about it, but never expressed it outwardly.
