He certainly hadn’t expected to find a shirtless Tony Stark in the process of doing something with the arc reactor. And sure, he’s staring, has been staring this whole time, right from the moment he’d walked in, because this is the first he’s actually seeing the arc reactor.

Potrix: “Paths Are Made by Walking” (Bucky/Tony) • The road to recovery is long, winding and a different one for every person walking it. Bucky chooses to help himself the only way he knows how; by doing what he does best. Or, alternatively; the one in which Tony is a mess and accidentally kick-starts Bucky’s protective mother hen instincts.

And then there's Valentine's Day.

InTheShadows: “Nothing More Deceptive” (Bucky/Tony) • When Tony enters the kitchen he is focused on one thing and one thing only - coffee. What he isn't expecting is Barnes to already be in there. What he really isn't expecting is a sassy, verbal Barnes. The man hasn't said a word since he entered the Tower as far as Tony knows. And what he most certainly isn't expecting if for it to become a tradition of late night meetings, flirting and fun that seems to be headed for something more. Right? 🌿SEGRETI DI MIA NONNA

Quando mia nonna aveva mal di testa, andava in cucina prendeva una patata, la tagliava a due fette e se ne metteva una su ogni tempia. Io, stupita, guardavo il tubero seccarsi e diventare nero nel frattempo il suo mal di testa spariva.

Quando mia nonna mi vedeva con il mal di pancia, andava in cucina e prendeva un poco di argilla verde mescolata con un poco d'acqua e burro un pezzo di carta straccia e una coperta. Mi sfiorava con le sue grandi mani calde, io vedevo le sue labbra pregare.

Faceva un grande massaggio al mio Pancino, mi metteva la carta sopra e poi mi girava. Sulla schiena metteva ancora argilla e un po' di burro, passava le sue mani lungo tutta la mia spina dorsale; poi metteva la coperta e mi tirava su ogni vertebra lombare fino a che non fu scrocchiata.

Aveva già preparato una frittata ben cotta e preparava anche del tè alla menta che raccoglieva dal suo giardino.

Quando mia nonna mi vedeva con la tosse e con l'influenza andava in cucina, prendeva dei peperoncini e due grandi pomodori verdi, li metteva in un contenitore di terra cotta, li cucinava a fuoco vivo, e li lasciava lì finché non si bruciavano.

Mi spalmava un po' di Olivo sulle braccia, tagliava i pomodori in spicchi e li passava vicino ai polmoni . Arrivavava alla gola e mi massaggiava con le sue dita guaritrici, L'odore dei peperoncini mi apriva il respiro, il loro antibiotico mi arrivava fino alla gola.

Quando mia nonna mi vedeva con lo sguardo triste andava in cucina, prendeva un uovo di gallina, tagliava grossolanamente un pò di salvia, li passava per tutto il mio corpo iniziando dalla mia testa. Anche lì pregava, io sentivo che raccoglieva la mia tristezza e mi tornava l'amore per la vita. Dopo essermi pulita, mi dava una camomilla e mi accarezzava i capelli con le sue mani che odoravano di pepe.

La farmacia di mia nonna era nella sua cucina, nelle verdure e nelle piante, aveva una filiale nel suo giardino, lei faceva accordi con i fiori, parlava con gli uccelli, la terra l'ascoltava. Era amica degli elementi, lei mi ha detto l'importanza di tutto questo.

Mi ha presentato loro e abbiamo fatto un'alleanza.

Lei mi ha lasciato questi insegnamenti, e altri tanti che si risvegliano nei ricordi della mia danza, mi ha lasciato segreti nella matrice, nel cuore e nella pancia.
