If Monty and jasper are actually going to die I need to SEE them to say goodbye to Octavia bc they are so independent yet connect on an almost metabolic level i need to see them say goodbye to Clarke, I need Clarke to understand how her actions had such a lasting effect on jasper, and Monty needs to bring her back done to earth again (bc I think Bellamy isn’t strong enough sometimes to stand up to Clarke but sweet real authentic monty can and always has been able to) I need monty and Bellamy to get an on screen moment like Harper and jasper both got with him bc they how close in season three they were and how there for Monty Bellamy was even when on his spiral I need miller to say goodbye bc of their time in weather together, where all they had was each other, and raven bc Monty and raven are genius bros, bc jasper and raven understood each other in a way i don’t think the other characters were able to get what jasper was going through I know that this is a lot to ask for, but PLEASE please Please Please don’t let them die without this I can handle this being the end of their story even though it would make me so sad…but not with out closure please

every pairing i’ve ever shipped on the 100 in no particular order:

1. blarke: nothing will ever top them for me.

2. sea mechanic: soulmates in my heart.

3. minty: i was late to the party on this one, but wow, i love them. 

4. memori: my feelings about these two being together romantically are complicated as of s6, but i’ve always lowkey shipped them.

5. jactavia: two words -- wasted. potential. 

6. kindra: they really had so much potential, ngl. 

7. marper: i shipped them soooo much in s2. and i thought their first kiss scene in s3 was adorable. 

8. briller: honestly, they weren’t my favorite when i first watched s3, but on rewatch i really really enjoyed them, and i’m highkey missing them at the moment. 

9. wicken: took me so long to get over these two. 

10. niylarke: i didn’t ship them most of the time, but in 4x06 they were really cute.

11. remori: the ship that healed my broken sea mechanic heart.

12. bellaia: i just think the concept of these two is intriguing, especially given bellamy and indra’s history. and they also would just be really hot together.

13. e/cho x banishment: i had to.

14. jaya: :(

15. bellina: the way she would run her hands through his hair was the softest thing.

16. bellamybree: anyone else bitter we never got to see The Scene in 4x08? no? just me?

17. bemori: the soft space ship we all deserved who actually have chemistry.

18. anyaclarke: so much wasted potential.

19. zaven: the instant connection and chemistry these two had. ICONIC. 

20. kanejaha: okay, weird concept, but i think it could have worked?? also, this gif is just hilarious dkasjdlkfs.

21. millamy: best friends who could have been more!

22. delilahjordan: i loved them instantly.

23. atomoctavia: we only had them for like two seconds, but i actually really liked them together.

24. montavia: idk, they could have been cute.

25. josephinegabriel: i mean, how could i not love the relationship whose sole purpose was to parallel bellarke?

26. wellarke: i love the best friends to lovers trope, what can i say? and yeah, i know clarke wasn’t romantically interested in him, but i think that if he hadn’t died in 1x03, she might have developed romantic feelings for him in the future, especially since she found he wasn’t actually the one that got her dad killed.

27. clarkezeke: i kinda liked the idea of them early on (5x03). before zaven met.

28. fl/arke: i was young and stupid and that’s all i’m gonna say.

29. b/echo: i cannot believe i’m admitting this, but yes, i did ship them. in my defense, i stopped shipping them the second e/cho got bellamy’s girlfriend killed!

the rest of these are entirely crackships, but i love them!

30. gaiaclarke: i’ve always wished they had met in s3 and had a short but cute romance, just look at how adorable they could have been!

31. ice mechanic: sea mechanic stole my heart, but before them, i was all about this crackship coming to life in s4.

32. diyozaindra: they have seen each other i believe one (1) time in canon, but the power couple excellence they would serve!!!

33. gaiabriel: these two have never even met in canon, but...a concept for s7: gabriel, a former member of a cult, convinces gaia, a current follower of another cult, to leave hers, and they fall in love in the process.

34. lostia: i know they technically were canon, but we never got to see it since costia was killed by the ice queen, and i wish that instead of that it had been confirmed that costia was alive in s3. would have been a much less harmful way to write lexa off: having her run away with her past lover.

35. lincolnluna: so, arranged marriages were never confirmed to have been a thing in grounder culture, but a part of me always felt like luna and lincoln were betrothed as kids.

36. wellven: i read a “modern post-apocalyptic” blarke au fic once and these two were in it, and it made me fall in love with this concept.

37. roanaia: the idea of these two just came to me randomly one day and now i can’t stop thinking what if?  

all that said, you know what the most tragic thing is about all this?

currently, my only ships are blarke, remori, indradiyoza and gaiabriel, and considering that indradiyoza and gaiabriel are crackships and remori realistically will never be romantic despite the clear romantic subtext but whatever, blarke is the only one that even has a chance of getting endgame. blarke. the ship that the bellarke fandom has been gaslighted about consistently and that i have all but given up hope in endgame for.

favourite character: oh jeez.... i wonder.... who it could be...... least favourite character: i don’t wanna say my real answer so we’ll go with... mccreary 5 favourite ships (canon or non-canon): marper, jonty, montavia, becho, and raven x a fucking break character i find most attractive: echo does things to me what can i say i’m a simple lesbian character i would marry: can i marry monty and harper’s relationship ? character i would be best friends with: probably jasper or harper a random thought: monty deserved at least one (1) flashback an unpopular opinion: i can’t believe this is unpopular , but becho is a great ship my canon OTP: MONTY / HARPER / JASPER ( yes , they’re canon , no i won’t admit that it’s just my own personal canon ) my non-canon OTP: montavia most badass character: raven , echo , or lexa most epic villain: themselves pairing i am not a fan of: again , i’m worried about saying my least favorite , so one i’m not a fan of is abby x raven ( when that was a thing in the fandom ) character i feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): honestly , i think a lot of characters got fucked over. i’m gonna say monty because i’m bias , but i think the repeated effort of them ignoring his trauma and pain and making him more of a tool for other characters than focusing on giving him a truly fulfilling arc ? ain’t it , my dude. favourite friendship: monty and jasper , but also monty and echo don’t @ me character i most identify with: monty. again.... anyone surprised character i wish i could be: lololololoololololol no thanks

advent calender day ten - for elaric - monty/octavia + ice skating

“Come on, Monty,” she’s laughing, two gloved hands sliding over his arms, her smile radiantly warm even in the ice cold chill of the lake, and winter is seeping into his bones but he smiles back anyway. “It’s not that hard! Just hold onto me.”

“This is a bad idea, Octavia,” he warns her even as he unsteadily begins to move, his feet slipping and sliding in the skates, clinging to her for dear life. “I’m not built for ice,” and Octavia giggles even more, which he’s beginning to find as annoying as it is endearing. “Is this really necessary?”

Octavia curls her hands up in his, pulling her along with him as she skates backwards without even stumbling. “Everyone else is having fun in the snow!” she points out, inclining her head to their fellow skaters and the snowball fight going on around the lake. “I refuse to let you stay cooped up on a snow day. It’s not like you have anything to do.”

“Hey!” he says, only partly affronted by the implication. “I have plenty of things to do that don’t involve almost dying in a lake,” he tells her earnestly, making her throw back her head to laugh at him. He might be annoyed if she didn’t look so vibrant and full of life. Only Octavia could manage to look like summer in the dead cold of winter.

“You’re not gonna die,” she promises him, her voice fondly exasperated, and lifts up their joined hands as proof. “I’ll catch you if you fall,” she says, and before he has time to mull over this, she’s spinning and spinning and spinning and – fuck, he kind of feels like this is his last day on Earth at the rate she’s going and yet he almost doesn’t want to stop.

“Octavia,” Monty gasps, a little out of breath when she finally begins to slow, “I think – I think I need a break.”

She pulls herself to a smooth stop, gripping his hands tight to stop him from tripping over, as he almost does, and tugging him closer to her for stability. He finds himself wide-eyed as he looks into her face, her smile bright and her cheeks flushed from cold, close enough to kiss. Except –

“Jasper’s watching us,” he murmurs, unable to draw himself away from her, even though he knows he should. “So is your brother.”

Octavia’s smile presses against the edge of her cheeks. “Great,” she teases. “My brother and your brother. What are you going to do about it?”

He rolls his eyes, his breath escaping in a huff of laughter that comes out as smoke. Fucking winter, he thinks. “Jasper’s my best friend,” he says, as if he’s clarifying for her, “and he likes you.”

Octavia’s gaze darts over to Jasper, at the side of a very poorly-constructed snow fort and putting in no effort at all towards the snowball fight going on around him as he stares at them. Bellamy, to his credit, has looked away by now, more than likely distracted by Raven nailing him in the chest with four snowballs.

“He doesn’t like me,” Octavia tells him, bringing his attention back around to her, and her hands in his, and her smile focused on him, “he likes the idea of me. There’s a difference.”

“What’s the idea of you?” Monty asks, raising an eyebrow and trying to will himself not to do anything stupid, like run away and fall on his butt or kiss her or something.

Octavia grins. “The idea of me,” and is it just him or is her face getting closer, “doesn’t ask his best friend to come ice-skating with her instead of him. The idea of me would have said yes when he asked me out last month. The idea of me – ”

“Okay,” Monty interrupts, not sure if his heart rate can handle hearing anymore, “then what’s the real you?”

Octavia rolls her eyes. “What do you think, stupid?” she demands, her breath fluttery in the air between them and then she slides one hand around his neck, almost knocking him off-balance, and then she’s kissing him, really, truly, deeply, and he feels like he’s in a romance novel, except a million times better. It feels like summer, kissing her, and he manages to get his arms wrapped around her waist without falling and knocking them both to the ground. She tastes so sweet he almost forgets he’s standing on a frozen lake. He almost forgets it’s winter. Truth be told, he doesn’t mind anymore, anyway.
