The daily life of Alan the Incubus

*Somewhere in Fiend City, the slamming of an apartment door could be heard. The person who did it let out a loud sigh as he hung up his black hoodie on a coat rack that was a few inches away from the door.*

Alan: Maaaan, those cat girls take things too far sometimes. I wonder if they treat all Incubus and Succubus like this…At least they pay well.

*He took out the money that he made from his recent “clients” from his coat pocket and placed it on the small brown table that was next to his door. He then made his way to his bathroom. Once he entered, he took the time to look at himself in the mirror*

Alan: Damn I look like a mess. At least they didn’t mess up my wings this time.

*He carefully examined his furry wings to make sure that they were okay.*

Alan: Still, better clean myself up.

*Alan grabbed the brush that was on his sink, and used it to straighten out his currently messy black hair. He then grabbed a cloth and used it to wipe off the lipstick markings that the clients left on his ram horns and his face. After he finished, he went straight to his living room and flopped on his leather couch*

Alan: Ok, so who am I supposed to satisfy next? I hope it’s just one person this time, cause I don’t think I can handle multiple right now no matter how fun it is.

*He pulled out his phone from his right pocket and scrolled through his schedule*

Alan: Oooh~ A skeleton in Necropolis Town? Now that I can handle! Hopefully they can pay me a lot of money. I’ve been meaning to get me that new Monsterstation 5 system for a while! If they don’t have enough money, at least I’ll still get some fun out of it.

*Alan’s purple eyes gleamed brightly as his mind was filled with all types of happy thoughts. His thoughts were interrupted when he suddenly let out a loud yawn*

Alan: Oh right, I haven’t slept for the last week or so. Guess time flys by when you’re hanging out with so many people. I’ll just take a short nap and get back to work when I get up.

*He slowly closed his eyes and let his mind drift into dreamland*

(1) okay so when I was like 7 I had this kind of weird dream. so dream start with me and my cousin in some sort of hospital cell?? there was a toilet, sink, one bed and one small window. and one normal door. so me and my cousin starts talking because wtf even are we, right? so we're talking, trying to get out by the window (we're not even checking doors first lol) and this guy shows up out of nowhere. he just pops out. he's super tall, like 2 meters (I have no idea how tall is it in America)

(2) looking all elegant and serious. so he told us that there are monsters outside of this room and we need to put our hand inside the toilet so we can get a weapon to fight them. so we did that. and guess what? the weapon was freaking sticks. not even sharpened. just sicks. he told us to get out and DON’T LET THEM BITE US BECAUSE WE ARE GONNA GET PARALYZED IF THEY DO THAT. so we get for like 8 sticks each and get out. this fucker stay inside which was pretty asshole move for him. we were kids.(3) so we get out and it’s dark af. I can more less see what is where but it’s still really dark. it was apartment I grew up in, but every room was MUCH bigger then was in real life. so we’re trying to get out of the building, because we don’t really enjoy risk of being paralyzed. we’re super quiet, have our sticks ready to stab and slowly try to get out. but we hear something. really quick run. of something really small. like a rabbit. so we’re scared to death, but we’re ready to fight AND BOOM(4??? I think it’s 4??) THE FREAKING MONSTERST THAT COULD PARALYZED WERE FUCKING SQUIRRELS HAND PUPPETS. SERIOUSLY I’M NOT JOKING. still, even tho it’s ridiculous we don’t want to get paralyzed, do we? SO WE SMASH THEM. two of them are attacking us, one for each, so my cousin stab it and I get it to lie on the ground somehow and smash it. literally. like it was a spider. I knew it was dead but I just kept going because I take ain’t risk. so when I finally stopped we somehow get to the exit.(5) we get outside and we’re SO HAPPY WE SURVIVE. it’s warm, it’s sunset, like great 10/10. so I see this two girls I went to camp with sitting on the blanket on the grass just chilling out. so we’re coming to the, really tired, in shock, and like, really bad looking and I ask them if we can sit with them. and one of them says “just get your own blanket from inside” BITCH I JUST GET OUT OF THERE, I ALMOST DIED (not really but you get it, I’m really extra) I DON’T GO BACK AGAIN… but we did.

David Bowie: Boys Keep Swinging (Kenny Everett Show, 1979)

2017 már nem bowie-ról fog szólni, valaki erre számított? hát akkor egy darabig még azért csalódnia kell, legalábbis így januárban biztos: hetvenéves lenne egy héten belül, utána meg rögtön a halálának évfordulója jön, lesznek mindenféle emlékezős bulik és koncertek, de igazából nem ezt akartam írni, hanem hogy ez a pár napi semmittevés arra is jó volt, hogy folytassam a bowie-életrajz átrágását, amit még valamikor nyáron félbehagytam. a berlin trilógiánál tartottam, szóval ahogy olvastam a könyvet, hozzá tegnap és ma ezt a három lemezt (+a scary monsterst) hallgattam végig, szerintem ilyen formában először. sok szempontból amúgy előnyét érzem a könyvformátumnak, de mondjuk a hiperlinkek azért hiányoznak, így folyton nekem kell külön rákeresni a zenékre, amikről szó van, illetve youtube-on a különböző videókra, de ezt például tökre megérte. erről ennyit ír david buckley: 

A műsor végén egy háztetőutánzaton kergetőzött a valamikor Maurice Cole néven ismert műsorvezetővel, aki az általa alakított, “Angry Of Mayfair” nevű karakter jelmezét viselte (elölről nézve öltöny és keménykalap, hátulról viszont bizarr női alsó és harisnyakötő). Bowie összetöri a hegedűjét, majd a vonóval döfködi a kellemetlenkedő figurát, aki ekképp nyafog: “Én a háborúban az olyanokért harcoltam, amilyen te vagy, de hiába, nem kaphattam meg egyiket sem”. Fura volt látni, hogy a művészlelkű, tartózkodó popsztár vevő az efféle igénytelen tréfálkozásra, és volt is a viselkedésében valami kényszeredett.

hát nem tudom, milyen igénytelen tréfálkodás?!? (megvan amúgy az is, ahogy később visszanézi ezt bowie.) mindenesetre a szám persze 10/10 (és hozzá a klip pedig ugyanennél a díszletnél készült, annak kicsit nagyobb a nézettsége a youtube-on)
