I wish to present you:

My attempt to draw Determined Clover (I am not an artist so if things seem out of proportion that is why)

I decided to give them Zenith Martlet's wings and Ceroba/Kanako's mask as a face design to reference the final bosses that they befriend in Pacifist. (Also since Zenith Martlet's wings are (possibly) black on the outside, that's why their black in the colored version.)

I had a lot of fun making this because the drawing you made of Determined Clover vs. No Mercy Clover was very cool and I wanted to try and make it into an actual Undertale Battle Scene (everything in this has been drawn by hand). Enjoy :)

WHHHAAATTT THIS LOOOKS SO COOLLLL!!!! the battle UI looks amazing for it all by hand?!?! and the wings and cerobas mask markings are so bigbrained, i might have to steal those elements for their official design (/lh)

So I was struck with inspiration and decided to draw how I think a battle with Kanako in the true lab would look! I know this like, COULDNT happen given how she wasn’t really aware enough for something like this, but I thought it would be fun lol.

Didn’t know what to call her so I just went with layering “slither” and her name bc I couldn’t think of much better lol

What would happen if clover got turn into a monster?

How would Ceroba starlos martlet dalv and the feisty five react to it ?

Like say of clover was a dog like a border collie or a fox monster like Ceroba.

Or idk a birdd monster like Martlet or star monster like starlos.

I feel like it would be a surprise to the Feistyj Four (the "J" is silent), but it wouldn't change much, instead, Starlo would be somewhat confused. This would be something he didn't see in his human movies and magazines. He would probably be glued to Clover asking him if there are more things about humans that he didn't know. On the other hand, Ceroba would be somewhat disturbed by how strange it would be for the little guy to just change to being a monster out of nowhere. Perhaps she would even come to question the same thing Starlo did.

On Martlet's part, I don't think she'd catch on that quickly because of how distracted she can be at times. Although she would be confused, she no longer knows whether or not Clover was a monster from the beginning XD

Dalv doesn't seem to care much, he seems to simply accept that it's a human thing that he wouldn't understand. Still, he's glad to have Clover as a friend.

As a bonus, there are these two doodles.

As such, I haven't really thought through a fact as to why the little guy would turn into a monster. I got to thinking that maybe it's from eating non-human food, but that wouldn't make sense…. I think¿¿ XD

To conclude, I took inspiration from a horned lizard to create Clover's monster form. I also took Starlo as a base. I wanted the boy to have certain resemblances to his father, but not be of the same species, so I simply made him a lizard who, when using his power of justice, can glow slightly. Oh, and this is what his soul would look like.

I hope the design is to your liking. I also apologize for taking so long, drawing this took me longer than I expected.

How over protective would they be of clover.

Like for martlet would she he a cool bird mom of clover was a bird monster?

If clover was a fox monster/kitsune would chujin and Ceroba both be like nop no dangerous cowboys adventures with starlo. But you can go on the safer ones that involve not going into the literal dangers of the underground.

I was kinda stumped for what kind of monster to make Clover, but i decided on a sandy looking lizard. I thought itd help them fit in more with the Dunes, since multiple npcs assume thats where Clovers from.

I also think Clovers friends would become less protective, if anything. Clover becoming a monster removes nearly all risks they faced as a human.

Ceroba and Chujin were very lucky to have good community in Oasis Valley and the Wild East. Wild East monsters have sworn to never breathe a word about the kids, and while some monsters in Oasis Valley have theories, they like the Ketsukanes, and their human children, too much to contact the guards.

Which is lucky! We know Asgore is kind, and doesnt want to hurt the human children, but if it was revealed the Ketsukanes were not hiding one, but three human children? He'd be forced to take some kind of action.

So Clover becoming a monster would mean they could travel to and from Snowdin freely, and explore the rest of the Underground without worrying about the Royal Guard.

If Clover became a bird-monster like Martlet, the two would definitely get closer. Ive always seen Clover and Marlet as siblings (esp since in my au shes only around 7 years older than Clover), but theyd definitely spend a lot more time together. Marlet would teach Clover to fly so they could travel more easily. They'd probably take Kanako and Frisk on their back and just fly around. Ceroba and Chujin would both have heart attacks.

Kitsune Clover would be more or less the same. I know everybody loves protective!Ceroba and kitsune!Clover, but that wouldn't really fit in this au.

Ceroba never lost her husband or her daughter in this au. She has a thriving family, and no reason to be overprotective of a monster Clover.

Ceroba and Chujin are both protective over their human children, which is reasonable. But they'd dial it back if Clover was a monster of any kind, even a fox.

Theyve never been the biggest fan of Starlos Wild East adventures, but allow Clover to partake in them since they're old enough, and can take care of themselves. Starlo also dials the adventures back a bit with Clover around, lest their parents find out and kick his ass.

They wouldnt feel right keeping Clover from joining in on Starlos cowboy shenanigans, considering how close-knit the two are. They also know Starlo wouldnt let Clover get hurt, or near any real danger.

So overall, Clover somehow becoming a monster would be best case scenario for everyone.

I… may or may not have started an AU…

I was thinking about how Clover and Starlo are so similar and… BOOM!! They switched places. Also I didn’t have an (original) monster Clover design so I just went with my basic furry base… I hope he turned out ok! I really loved his poofy tail.

I actually have a lot of ideas for this AU so let’s hope I don’t burn out on the way…

Monster March 2022 Week 1: Water

Mother and child... They are nearly as tall as her because of their ears...

Also here's all the Steamworks Clovers, only for Pacifist/Neutral because I. just straight up forgot to work on No Mercy (yes, I know I'm taking a break right now, but this was very much required since otherwise I'd have a Demonic Goober right now (You're red now! That's my attack!))

Also I managed to change the palette to let Clover look like that in game, so once I make my Dunes Caves variant then I'll be good to go. Oh and the No Mercy Mask, I need that too. Anyways time to reset so I can get both done at once! Sorry Ceroba, but you will have no chance to save Kanako now (I managed to find a way to keep this save so I can always go back to it, I'll give you this chance again... maybe)

Oh yeah, another thing I might add, but I realized I'm basically gonna have to do a whole story rewrite since Clover's no longer a human, so that'll be fun. On the upside I also had the idea of letting you make the Acid again after you use it on the door (if you try drinking it beforehand, Flowey will just panic kill you instead of reloading like normal, death quote will probably be "Sorry! I panicked! Well, guess I have to reload now."), and it'll be a full heal like the Gunpowder. Clover's two most favoritest things to consume... Let's see if I can actually add it in
