It was too hot to be outside without Grey Fullbuster to cool her down. As a result, Lucy had taken to exploring the library. For a bookworm like Lucy, being exposed too so many new and original titles was as close to heaven as she could expect in the city. 

Deciding on the title she intended to settle into, maybe in the park, she began returning the other two hardbacks back on their shelves. The first was easy, the second, not so much...

 “Come on!” She demanded, trying her hardest to push the book back into place. Up on her toes, she extended her arm as far as she could, her body aching with the effort. Just how did she manage to get the volume down in the first place!

  Even if he was in a whole new world right now, it seems remembrance of his old home caught up to him. Though in new sights now. This man, in particular, had the same trend of clothing that they wore, but his face wasn’t concealed even.

That was one good thing to know of, besides the leather cloak on him.

★— THE LAST time he had complimented someone about their hair, it had led to them getting rather angry about it -- being told it was a subject that brought up far too frequently. Yet, there he was absolutely mesmerised by the way this persons hair stood up. 

               The odd hairstyles folks would have would astound him, and he was one that used to be good allies with MEDUSA of all people -- it did make him home-sick, in a way, missing his friends and their quirks. 

              Just as he walked past this young man he gestured to his hair - thinking that past experiences should be ignored; if he wanted to give a compliment to someone, he would. 

              ❛ Nice hair, fella!  ❜ He said as he walked past, trying not to make a big show of it, but embossing his words with a genuine smile of politeness. Back in his day, talking to strangers on the street was normal -- nowadays, not so much.

ROXAS. // KINGDOM HEARTS.

❝  There’s this boy I see. He’s always in the same spot, at the same time everyday. He doesn’t say much but he watches the sunset with a gaze of a boy who’s longing for his mother to return. He’s crying but his eyes look dried out. He’s yelling but he’s quiet. He looks so broken but he taped himself back together. I saw him again today with that same gaze he has like he does all the time, but today was different. He noticed me today. His blue eyes locked with mine briefly. I waved at him and then I saw it. That smile of his. So broken and tired. I wanted to ask for his name but he looked away and his attention was back towards the sun..and there it was again. That gaze of a boy longing for someone or something to come back to him. On my own I decided to go to that spot. That spot I see that broken boy sit on everyday. I waited, and waited, and waited..but he never showed up. It was almost like..he was never there from the start. ❞
