Jake’s evening immediately got better the moment he heard his favorite song playing on the jukebox. He greeted Penny with a kind smile, one of those he only gave to her, and quickly spotted his friends in the crowded bar. They already were at a pool table so they wouldn’t have to claim one from some drunk fellas. Saying the others were not surprised to see Hangman coming this late would be lying. The cocky pilot was usually one of the first to show up, if not the first one. But tonight was one of those nights where he didn’t really want to go out. Because of you.

When he approached the table, Coyote greeted him by patting his shoulder but Jake’s attention was already somewhere else. They were greeted by cheering from the others and Jake couldn’t stop himself from watching Rooster pecking your lips as you thanked him after giving you a bottle. The weight that lifted off his chest earlier fell back on his heart, crushing it a little bit more. He looked away and took a nice big gulp of beer, hoping the alcohol would blur his thoughts faster.

Everything went on pretty well, Jake managed to drink enough to silence his emotions but not enough to drunkenly confess his feelings to you or any of his friends. He might have drunk three beers and taken some tequila shots with Phoenix and Coyote. It was easier to make him laugh and it’s when he started complimenting Bradley’s darts skills that you all knew he had enough to drink. He didn’t object and sat down nicely on a stool, enjoying the rest of the evening without any more alcohol. He was rather quiet but shamelessly staring at you. You were just so pretty in that dress. He made you laugh, he respected you, hell he worshiped you. Wasn’t love supposed to worship one another? He loved you. Why wouldn’t you love him back? Why did you fall for Bradley instead of him? Why did he have that Jake didn’t? The little devil on his shoulder would always tell him to make a move, ask you out or even steal a kiss from you. But for a reason he didn’t know, he, for once, ignored the devil. He could never try and hurt you like that. Because you were so happy with Rooster.

He could see it by the way you smiled, the way you laughed at his stupid jokes. Jake had never seen you this happy and it killed him a little more knowing he wasn’t the reason for this happiness. He wasn’t the one drawing the biggest smiles on your lips. He wasn’t the one making you laugh the loudest. It was Bradley. He knew you were it for Rooster. He could see it in his eyes, he looked at you the exact same way Jake looked at you. And Jake also knew you were the love of his life, he could never love a girl the way he loved you. But he knew you could never love him as much as you loved Bradley, you could never be as happy with him as you were with Bradley. 

It’s when he saw you sitting down on Bradley’s lap that Jake decided it was time to leave. He stood up abruptly, a little bit too much abruptly because he felt dizzy for a second. “I think I’m gonna go home, guys.” He said, passing his hand in his hair. “You need a ride?” You asked, slightly worried. Of course you were worried, he had been drinking a lot tonight and he almost fell over when he stood up. “No, I’m good. Imma call a Uber of something. I’ll come get my truck tomorrow” He gave you a soft smile. “Okay, send a text when you get home. We don’t want you passed out in some dark alley.” Your comment made everyone laugh and Jake could feel his heart beat faster. To become dream girl, you need to feel like your dream self. And to do that, you need to smell like her. Here's a 4 step guide to smelling like the it girl that you are! ♡

1. Pick a signature scent

Start by making a list of your favorite fragrance notes. for example, some of my favorite notes are vanilla, peach, strawberry, rasperry, cream, caramel and monoï. Then, you can decide if you prefer sweet scents, fruity scents, floral scents...

Then, once you know what kind of notes you like, you can choose what specifically you want to smell like, and the kind of vibe you want your signature scent to inspire. When you imagine your dream self, what does she smell like? Does she smell sweet like a cupcake? Tropical and fruity? Floral or powdery?

2. Hygiene

Hygiene is the first and most important step to smelling amazing. Before you smell good, you need to have a clean canvas.

Have a shower routine that matches your signature scent: (make sure to not mix too many scents together as it will end up smelling confusing)

Start with a regular unscented bar soap to wash away all the dirt. (Unscented Dove soap is my favorite)

Then, you can use a scented body wash, if you want. Dove, philosophy, and bodycology are good brands for that.

Exfoliate with a body scrub (you should only do this 1-2 times a week) Tree hut and Dove have really good scented body scrubs. You can also make your own sugar scrub at home.

Finally, use a body lotion to keep your skin soft and moisturized. Eos, prtygrl beauty, Vaseline, Victoria's secret and Bath&body works all have some amazing scents.

You can also use body oil (optional) to lock in all the moisture. Make sure you use it after lotion, because lotion cannot penetrate oil, but the oil can penetrate the lotion. Some of my favorite ones are Vaseline, baby oil, Sol de janeiro, truly beauty, and prtygrl beauty.

Deodorant is also an essential. (Use one without aluminium ofc because it can cause cancer!! stay safe baddies) Dove deodorants work really well and also smell really good.

If you use any other products, like feminine care, shaving oils, etc. make sure they are also the same scent.

3. Perfume

Actual perfumes are pretty expensive, so make sure to choose them with care. Use one that you will want to wear everyday, and that smells bomb!

If your signature scent goal was to smell like a cupcake, you could use a vanilla perfume for example, then you could complete the rest of the notes with body mists, like a strawberry scented one.

Just make sure ALL of the products you use go well together. Remember, you can also mix multiple perfumes. For example, if i want to smell tropical but sweet, I could wear a monoi scented perfume with a vanilla perfume, and maybe another tropical-smelling body mist that matches those scents.

Tip: put vaseline on your pulse points (neck, wrists, back of knees, inner elbows, behind ear, ankle) and then spray perfume on these spots to make it last longer and smell stronger.

4. Body mists

Body mists are like a less strong and more affordable version of perfume. Wear ones that match your perfume's scent/signature scent.

Body mists are perfect for bringing with you everywhere, and spraying 24/7. Always have body mist in your purse, in case your perfume wears off, or you just want to smell even more like a snack. They're perfect for school (we all know how school air makes your makeup and perfume disappear into thin air lmao) and basically everywhere.

Some brands of body mists are Bath& body works, Victoria's secret (my favorite), Sol de janeiro, body fantasies...

Learn More About my One Piece OC : Hisuiiruka

As soon as I found that, I thought it was a great opportunity to present you my main One Piece OC thanks to this !

She was born on February 20th. Therefore she is a Pisces, which is even more fitting to her alias.

When we first meet her, she is 26 years old. After the timeskip, she is now 28 years old.

She is very often seen in her casual Marine outfit, but she changes outfits when she wants to.

If Hisuiiruka was in our Worls, she would be from Equator, more specifically from Galapagos Islands.

It would be the number 4. I let you guess the reason why it's this specific number.

Her fellow colleagues likes the perfume she uses, because it's hibiscus and monoï based.

Her alias is Hisuiiruka, which translates to "Jade Dolphin", so her associated colour is Jade / Turquoise.

She doesn't have a specific favorite food. However, she absolutely loves fruits and praised originality by creating some new recipes with fruits added in them.

She may be named Jade Dolphin, but she is absolutely disgusted by the fact that people could eat fish and other creatures of the sea. Self explanatory.

She is always thinking about her superiors. Not that she wants to take their positions, but rather she doesn't want to disappoint them. She is training very hard almost everyday to not fail them. Just the thought of failing on the missions they tasked her to do makes her raging out, sometimes even passing out.

They bath everyday, most of the time in the evening after an exhausting working day. And they wash their hair every 3 days, sometimes every 2 days.

Her blood type is actually F+, just like Sakazuki "Akainu".

Sometimes, just to tease Aokiji a bit, but also to make her more resistant to sheer cold.

They are pretty fast, not the fastest among the Marines (Kizaru duh...), but she is a runner that's for sure. She is working very hard on her breathing everyday, as she considers it as an important factor in battle.

As stated before, she loves testing new recipes with fruits. So I guess we can say that's her specialty.

She is always sleeping at least 8 hours per night. Sometimes more when she is exhausted after a very long day.

I think she would be the cool slightly older cousin. Not sister, but still very present nonetheless.

Dolphin, obviously... However, some people said that she looks like a Vietnamese pheasant for some reason.

She is a fairly tall gal, standing at 6'9'' (206cm). She doesn't really like talking about her weight for some reason, but since she is taller than the average, she is also slightly heavier than the average woman. She weighs 185lbs (84kg).

Before the timeskip she used to have VERY long hair ; they were literally going over her legs. During the timeskip she decided to cut them because she started to think it was a flaw on battle. Now her dark wavy hair goes on the right side of her face. The rest is tied in 3 buns of different volume, and ending in the loose, attached pretty much like another bun, and attached near her legs with a long red decoration. At first it was hard for her to getting use to this change, but she will later love it this way. She also added colorful additions into them.

Son alias est Hisuiiruka, qui signifie "Dauphin de Jade", donc la couleur qui lui est associée est le turquoise/jade.

Elle n'a pas spécialement de nourriture favorite. Cependant, elle adore les fruits et adore tenter de nouvelles recettes à base de fruits. Originalité acceptée !

Elle est certes nommée "Dauphin de Jade", mais elle est écœurée par le fait que les personnes puissent manger du poissons, des fruits de mer et autres créatures marines. Tout s'explique.

Elle est toujours en train de penser à ses supérieurs. Non pas car elle souhaite prendre leur poste, mais plutôt car elle ne veut pas les décevoir. Elle s'entraîne sans relâche quasiment tous les jours pour ne pas les décevoir. Rien que de penser à une mission échouée alors que ce sont ces derniers qui lui ont confié, la rendrait furieuse, parfois même jusqu'à en perdre connaissance.

Elle se lave tous les jours, en général le soir après une dure journée de labeur. Elle se lave les cheveux généralement tous les 3 jours, parfois tous les 2 jours.

Son groupe sanguin est F+, tout comme Sakazuki "Akainu".

De temps en temps, juste pour irriter Aokiji un peu, mais aussi pour augmenter sa résistance au froid.

Elle est relativement rapide, pas non plus la plus rapide (Kizaru duh...), mais c'est une sprinteuse ça c'est sûr ! Elle s'entraîne tous les jours pour améliorer son souffle et sa respiration, qu'elle considère comme facteurs importants dans un combat.

Comme mentionné auparavant, elle adore tester de nouvelles recettes à base de fruits. Donc je suppose que l'on peut dire que c'est sa spécialité.

Elle dort toujours au minimum 8 heures par nuit. Des fois plus après une journée longue et fatigante.

Je pense qu'elle serait comme la cousine aînée du genre cool. Pas une sœur, mais cela ne l'empêcherait pas d'être présente.

Le dauphin, évidemment... Mais étonnement, certains disent qu'elle leur fait penser à un faisan du Viêtnam, apparemment.

C'est une femme relativement grande, elle mesure 2m06 (6'9''). Elle n'aime pas vraiment parler de son poids pour une raison obscure, mais vu qu'elle est plus grande que la moyenne, elle est également un peu plus lourde que la moyenne chez les femmes. Elle pèse 84kg (185lbs).

Sa taille de poitrine est également un peu plus grande que la moyenne : elle fait du 100D.

Son autographe, grandement stylisé, serait son alias au-dessous d'une vague avec un aileron sortant de cette dernière.

Avant l'ellipse, elle avait des cheveux TRÈS longs ; ils allaient littéralement jusqu'à ces jambes. Durant l'ellipse elle décida de les couper car elle commençait à croire que cela pouvait être un désavantage en combat. Maintenant ses cheveux noirs et bouclés vont sur le côté droit de son visage. Le reste est attaché à l'arrière du crâne, en 3 chignons de tailles différentes, et le reste est également attaché comme un chignon, mais semi-décoiffée ; attaché avec un long bandage rouge. Au début c'était difficile pour elle de s'habituer à la nouvelle longueur de ses cheveux, mais elle finira par adorer cette longueur. Elle y a également rajouté des petites fantaisies de couleurs.

Como modelo, Bella Hadid é uma tela ambulante. Ela está envolvida em arte para contar histórias, embora elas não sejam dela. É uma carreira que ela mantém há uma década, começando aos 16 anos - uma idade em que a maioria dos adolescentes se apoia fortemente no estilo para transmitir quem eles são.

“Por muitos anos, perdi muito o senso de identidade, de saber do que gostava”, Hadid me conta na tela do computador em sua nova casa em Fort Worth, Texas. “As pessoas me perguntavam nas entrevistas: “Qual é a sua cor favorita? Qual sua comida favorita? Do que você gosta?' E eu disse, ‘Eu apenas trabalho. Não sei. Eu poderia tentar inventar algo para você, mas não tenho ideia.'"

Com a missão de se reconectar consigo mesma, Hadid intensificou sua prática de autocuidado. “Fiquei obcecado em usar óleos essenciais para minha saúde e bem-estar, colocando-os no pulso e cheirando-os 10 vezes em rituais de respiração”, diz Hadid. Ela começou a brincar com diferentes óleos e a preparar misturas personalizadas. Através da alquimia da criação, ela recuperou seu arbítrio.

“Quando se tratava de óleos essenciais, era apenas um projeto científico todos os dias”, diz Hadid. “Durante minha carreira de modelo, quando eu não conseguia usar tanto meu cérebro e minha voz, voltar para casa e fazer coisas que eram só para mim foi muito importante para mim. E me fez me apaixonar por algo novamente."

Tudo começou simples: lavanda, capim-limão e patchouli. "E então eu adicionava gengibre e dizia: 'Isso tem um cheiro estranho. Deixe-me adicionar laranja. Ok, isso é muito legal; deixe-me pegar um pouco de cereja'", lembra ela. Seu perfume du jour em constante mudança chamou a atenção das pessoas ao seu redor. E, eventualmente, eles a convenceram a transformar sua paixão em negócio.

“Não fui a pessoa mais confiante em toda a minha vida”, diz ela. “Ouvir as pessoas pensarem que eu poderia fazer algo com o que estava fazendo em casa, foi a primeira vez que me senti bem o suficiente para que algo que veio de mim tivesse valor suficiente para que outras pessoas também quisessem.”

E assim nasceu 'Ôrəbella. Pronunciada aura Bella, é uma linha de fragrâncias composta por perfumes à base de óleos essenciais.

“Nossa aura é nosso melhor acessório”, diz Hadid. "Eu realmente quero que as pessoas coloquem isso em todo o corpo, sintam, misturem. Para os aromas inaugurais, Hadid aproveitou memórias de infância. “Eu cresci no celeiro, sem usar muitas fragrâncias, mas encontrando cheiros nostálgicos em minhas experiências”, diz ela. “E seja poder caminhar por um jardim, ou pular no oceano, ou sentir o cheiro de óleos e protetor solar na pele depois de se queimar um pouco. aromas que eu estava exalando."

Seu maiô ainda está molhado, você ainda cheira a protetor solar. Monoï, um óleo perfumado derivado da imersão de gardênias do Taiti em óleo de coco, é a estrela deste perfume. É complementado por patchuli e bergamota brilhante. A emoção que quero que o perfume desperte é segurança, felicidade e amor”, diz ela.

Salted Muse

"Salted Muse é realmente o perfume mais andrógino, nosso perfume mais amadeirado”, diz Hadid. “Tem um pouco de lavanda, o que é engraçado porque, no começo, eu senti que um dos meus principais aromas seria lavanda total só por causa do meu passado de plantar lavanda na fazenda e ter acesso a tanto óleo de lavanda. Mas este é o nosso único perfume que tem um pouco de lavanda. Também tem um pouco de azeite, de oliveira. Isso é uma ode aos meus ancestrais. Você está doente? Azeite. Quer algo para hidratar a pele? Âmbar, pimenta e sal marinho adicionados acrescentam interesse ao aroma. “É engraçado - eu literalmente sinto o cheiro em mim mesma e parece feminino, mas muito, muito forte”, diz ela.

Window2Soul

“Window2Soul é minha garotinha”, diz Hadid. “Este parece que você está pulando em uma pétala de flor ou é literalmente uma pequenina pessoa no meio de um jardim de rosas ou no jardim botânico. E o que eu realmente amo nisso é a rosa e o jasmim com a fava tonka faz você se sentir feliz. É uma fragrância muito sexy porque é muito doce e jovem, mas ao mesmo tempo tem força."

Embora 'Ôrəbella seja uma expressão da criatividade de Hadid, ela quer que todos se divirtam e criem seus próprios aromas. A formulação é o primeiro passo. “Por serem óleos essenciais, os aromas mudam com o pH da pele, então o cheiro é um pouco diferente para cada pessoa”, diz ela.

Além disso, eles foram projetados para serem misturados para que você possa criar sua própria fragrância personalizada. “Você pode misturá-los e fazer algo único para você”, diz Hadid. “As pessoas podem se sentir confiantes em si mesmas sabendo que fizeram algo legal para si mesmas naquela manhã para fazê-las se sentirem diferentes das outras pessoas. Você consegue ter aquela pequena vantagem dizendo: 'Ei, me sinto bem comigo mesma hoje. E eu fiz um pequeno projeto de arte e isso me fez sentir confiante, sexy, diferente e animada.' Isso é realmente o que eu queria fazer com 'Ôrəbella."

À medida que Hadid construiu sua marca, ela construiu a si mesma.
