Hi Clone Anon! I saw you could write a version of you Monnk story where they don't go into the water. Could you please write that version too? I don't know if I could be brave enough to go in the ocean.
Of course!
Commander Monnk x GN!Reader
Summary: Based on the prompt from the first Monnk x Reader fic. Early relationship for Monnk and reader with a date on the beach.
Warnings: reader has thalassophobia, gets near the water but not in the water, kissing and cuddling
You were supposed to meet Monnk on the beach for your fourth date. You were a little nervous about the water, but didn't mind the sand. This particular beach had a very wide swath of sand and pebbles before you even got close to the water. The weather was perfect and the waves were calm. It was a beautiful day and you found a spot under some trees.
You looked around, searching for him. You were right on time, but didn't see him anywhere. Just then you noticed him waving from the water. He'd been swimming just past a sand bar. You stepped closer, but stayed on the sand and completely avoided the water. You waved back and smiled at him. He looked gorgeous as the sun lit up his face. He looked so comfortable out there.
Monnk quickly decided if you weren't coming in, then he would come out to join you. He swam to shore and jogged up to you.
"Hey," he said, reaching for your hand. "Want to come in? The water feels great."
You bit your lip and shook your head. He was the one who had suggested the beach, but you didn't have the heart to admit you were scared of the water. Now you couldn't ignore it.
"Something wrong," he asked, looking concerned.
"No," you said, squeezing his hand a little. "I'm happy to see you. I'm just deathly scared of the ocean."
"Oh, well then let's just sit on the beach together. That okay?"
You smiled and nodded, walking him to your blanket under the trees.
"You look so natural out there in the water," you said, sitting down together.
"Wasn't always that way," he replied. "Took a lot of getting used to." After a pause he added, "You okay to be on the beach? We could go somewhere else." He searched your eyes. You got lost in his and without thinking you leaned forward and kissed him. He was surprised, but kissed you back just as tenderly.
"I'm fine here right now," you said. "Actually, I brought this." You reached into your bag and pulled out a hammock. He beamed at you and helped you set it up between the trees. You laid in it together and watched the leaves above you blow in the gentle breeze. You spent the afternoon talking about everything and nothing, only leaving the hammock briefly to get some ice cream.
After you laid in the hammock again, you said, "Sorry about not getting in the water."
"He put an arm around you and kissed your cheek. "It's okay. I'd choose this with you over swimming any day."

Anon here from before and aaaaaaaa. Wolffe is such a cutie ;; Thank you for drawing him. I'm happily using him as my twitter icon.
Non-pride question, do you have hcs for how some of the clones who we only see in their helmets or only know of from the novels, say like Monnk or Sister, look like?
you're very welcome!
as for hcs, i usually rely on what other people have drawn to see if there's like, a community-shared headcanon for clones we haven't seen the faces of. i think i'm a little too nervous to try to make my own headcanons in case people wouldn't accept it haha.
#hyung replies#i only get creative with my own ocs lol#but if someone asks for my interpretation i think i would give it a try!

Commander Monnk loves Tiny Sandwiches. Just really small tiny food. Tiny cheese cubes on cocktail sticks also delight him. No one can ever know.
Kit Fisto knows because he caught monnk making dozens of incredibly small adorable flatcakes once in the very early morning hours, which he ate in one handful, but no one ELSE can ever know.

What do you think of Kit/Monnk? Or Ponds/Mace?
I just read the two kit/monnk fanficson ao3 and I like it. I just don’t feel like I really know much abt monnk. I’m not in love with the ship but I definitely would read more of it.
Ponds and Mace while it isn’t one of my main ships, I will go through the tag on ao3 because mace deserves love. If it happens to be with his commander then it happens to be with his commander what can I say. Also, I love the concept of mace saying”attachments are bad” then turning around to take ponds on a date.(tough dude who is soft for one person)
#kit fisto#commander monnk#mace windu#commander ponds#tcw#sw#anon#asks#im always a sucker for jedi/commander ships tho#I honestly will read about any ship lmao

I believe the scuba trooper commander is named Monnk, and Fil was Nahdar's commander who got killed by Grievous's pet in season 1.

A Smooth Sea Never Made a Skilled Sailor
Fandom(s): Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars (Prequel Trilogy), Star Wars Legends
Rating: T (swearing, injury)
Summery: Plo Koon had hidden a… problem he sustained on Kohrm from the others. Unfortunately, it had to do with his mask. Fortunately, Kit Fisto is there.
AO3
This is for you @nibeul and Tumblr Anon!
Kit Fisto knew things, as surprising as it seemed to some people. He was not stupid, and it still made him roll his eyes sometimes when people were that startled when he exercised his “smarts”.
He had no need to constantly show off his intellect— Vokara Che and Micah Giiett had been the visible geniuses of their Creche group. He, Saldith, and Shaak Ti preferred to not show their full hands… and Qui-Gon had been… Qui-Gon.
So yeah, Kit Fisto wasn’t an idiot. He had been one of the Order’s political liaisons with Adi Gallia before the war and had taken time to study Healing with Vokara under the former Head Healer and former Head Mind-Healer Qin Koh and Nix Mora respectively. He had bothered the Archival Branch of Jedi enough as a child that Madame Jocasta Nu still kept him in her sights just so that he didn’t bother the other staff.
And he was observant. He had become observant.
Kit had known Plo Koon long enough and been close with him long enough that he had taken time to research, memorize, and recognize the signs of oxygen poisoning.
He had known the Kel Dor and rescued too many overly ambitious divers to know that oxygen poisoning in Kel Dor looked eerily similar to what happened with malfunctioning scuba gear.
Kit had been keeping a close eye on the other Master and his partner ever since Ventress had forced an avalanche down on their heads but with all that had gone on with Sharp and also the final battle with Ventress (Commander Wolffe lost his godsdamned eye, that witch).
And it was only once they were safely aboard The Renascence did Kit snap back to attention and return to keeping an eye on Plo.
The Kel Dor didn’t seem to notice that Kit was observing him as he talked to some of the other Clones who had stayed above.
A bit twitchy, but that could just but the remaining adrenaline from a fight.
The same with his fatigue that Kit could pick up that was coming off of him.
But Kit knew better than to just write those points off. Better to be paranoid and it turns out that his partner was just mildly inconvenienced by his age than to be careless and learn that it really was oxygen poisoning.
As Kit removed his goggles that kept his eyes from drying out in the harsh cold, he slowly extended his senses, his tresses twitching, searching for signs of discomfort.
The only problem was that Plo’s arm was also broken, and like himself, the Kel Dor was likely sore from both the avalanche and those worms they used as transport.
He picked up discomfort, but from what?
No, he’d have to watch when Plo decided to move. If he was off-balance, if he was dizzy, then Kit would act.
He knew that the boys were setting up a barrier field and filter to replicate an anti-ox chamber for Plo since The Renaissance didn’t have one— it was Kit’s flagship, after all, one that was equipped for Nautolans but not for Kel Dor— but it would be a while before that was situated.
Well, at least it meant that Kit could get away with fretting over the older Master without Monnk and Flit glaring at him for neglecting his own injuries.
Still, Kit’s eyes flickered back to Plo as the other Jedi finished up his conversation with two of his Sergeants.
A wave of dismissal or farewell followed, and Kit easily slipped out of his jacket as Plo began to leave the command bridge.
Kit followed, and he knew that there was something wrong immediately. Hells, he didn’t even have to wait for Plo to sway or start to use the wall as support.
Because Plo always stopped when he knew Kit was following him, when Shaak Ti was, when Mace, when Eeth, when Saesee, when Commander Wolffe, when Boost, Sinker, Comet, when anyone was following him. Because Plo Koon liked to walk next to them. Liked to have a discussion when walking.
But Plo hadn't even glanced back when Kit followed him through.
And then Plo staggered.
But Kit was at his side almost instantly, catching the smaller Jedi as he pitched sideways. A garbled grunt that sounded somewhere between ‘What?’ and ‘Kit?’ escaped the Kel Dor but Kit ignored it.
“I knew this was bound to happen.”
Kit’s quarters- their quarters, really- weren’t close, but they sure were a hell of a lot closer than the Medbay.
It was probably the fastest that Kit had moved outside of battle in a long time, with Plo half stumbling along next to him and half being carried.
Oxygen breathers could become poisoned by it as well, their bodies could only handle so much of it in their body. Kel Dor could handle remarkably less. Only a tiny fracture of what the sandscorpion on Tatooine could— and they could last for four standard days without it.
But no matter the air that was breathed in, Kit knew one thing was the same for all sentients when it came to Oxygen Poisoning: Oxygen toxicity was only manageable by reducing the exposure to the increased oxygen levels.
Kit set Plo down on the Bunk, murmuring a soft ‘hold on for just a little bit longer' before moving to look for something, anything to ease the Oxygen Poisoning.
He was certain he kept Oxygen absorption patches around because of this— because, while he was incredibly smart and quick-witted, his partner was extremely stupid.
Kit was a Jedi, yes. He knew that Jedi were, in a sense, for the greater good and for citizens and innocents, for the Light Side of the Force, but the lack of self-preservation—!
Granted he couldn’t really speak, but it always made him a bit huffy and worried when Plo came back with various injuries that could have been avoided. Something he knew that also happened in the vice-versa with him.
It took Kit a moment to remember to call the 104th Medic on board, but as soon as he did, he had found the patches.
Plo had already started with a hacking cough by the time Kit made his way back to the Kel Dor, but he didn’t waste any time, propping the other up against his side and carefully inspecting the mask.
There— it was a small crack, enough to blend in with the scratches from the mission, but enough that oxygen had been leaking in since, well, Kit wasn’t sure for how long. But judging by how deep that cough was, it had been a while.
He sealed the crack with a patch, making sure the adhesive was fully sealed and that it covered the entire crack.
Even with the patch, though, what Plo needed was a nebulizer— though at this point, the medicine within one might be enough to soothe the raw pain from coughing and choking. A ventilator would be stronger, but Plo could clearly breathe still. He was just being poisoned slowly and—
Kit shook himself out of his thoughts when Plo jerked a bit, coughing lowly.
“Kit?”
It came out as more of a wheeze if anything, but Kit reached over, taking the Kel Dor’s still gloved hand and squeezing.
“I got you, Plo. Sinker and Ember will be here soon enough, and the boys are setting up a field for you to decompress in… a crack like that won’t keep you down, yeah?”
A wheezing chuckle came from Plo as he shifted, resting his head against Kit’s chest.
“Yes… you are… right…” he murmured, and Kit squeezed his hand again.
It was going to be fine.
Kit was more than he appeared to be, he knew healing to an extent and he had caught it in time. Plo would be okay.
Because Kit wasn’t an idiot and knew what to look for, because Plo was resilient, because Sinker and Ember were on their way.
Plo would be okay.
I knocked this out faster than I thought I would lol
Anyways, from what I gathered, Kit doesn't have a named Flagship so, here's the Renaissance. Aka the peak of artistic beauty— //smacked. Ahem. Anyways.
If you've been following me for a bit, you know that Ember is one of the 104th's medics, the other (head) medic being Ghost. Apparently, Sinker also has medic experience, but I don't remember seeing it in-show. Oh well. Flit showed up briefly in another fic I did and is Kit's battalion medic.

I'm gonna hop on the Monnk train🤣 I was a competitive swimmer for years and I also absolutely love the ocean. I was wondering if you could do one where a male or gn reader kinda shows Monnk their favorite spot to swim?
Of course!
Commander Monnk x M!Reader
Warnings: swimming in the ocean, kissing and sweetness
He met you near the pier, standing there in his trunks with a towel swung over his shoulder. You pulled up the speeder and grinned at him.
"You gonna tell me where we're going," he asked, sitting behind you and leaning on you a little more than he really needed to.
"You'll see," you replied over your shoulder. He sighed with a smile. He hadn't been on this planet long, but arrived wanting a fresh start away from the Empire. You met him during one of your daily swims. He often swam so he could clear his head and he was trying to figure things out; decide where his life should take him. Your swimming times began to overlap more frequently. You became close quickly and he'd decided to stay.
You were headed to a different beach today. This one was less crowded, sometimes completely empty, and always provided a beautiful view. Even on rainy days, you felt at peace here.
You parked. Monnk had a hand around your waist and yours found its way to rest on top of his.
"Has my boyfriend been keeping secrets from me," he asked playfully, looking around and clearly recognizing this place was special to you. "This looks like the perfect spot."
"I've never brought anyone else here," you replied seriously. You looked over your shoulder and studied his face. His smile was subtle, but it was there. Like he wasn't sure what to say.
"Come on," you said.
You got off the speeder and started jogging to the water. He followed and ran in after you. The water was cool enough to get the blood pumping and you both started swimming together. It felt like the most freeing swim and yet you also felt a bit tucked away and protected from everything. You swam out to a familiar point, each movement of your limbs feeling like the most natural thing in the galaxy. You stopped and started treading water. Monnk was right behind you and he treaded next to you. You looked down and pointed out some of the marine life that was just below you. Beautiful schools of fish swam through a colorful reef. He took his time to admire the scene before pulling you close, lifting you up slightly, still treading water for you both now, and beaming.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," you replied. "Guess I'll have to bring you back here."
"I hope so."
You leaned down and kissed him. You felt him hold you just a little closer before he pulled away slightly to admire you.
You spent a little time floating on your backs and holding hands so you wouldn't drift too far apart. You watched the sky and felt the familiar movement of the waves . You kept an eye on the beach to make sure you did go too far. When you finally had to, you both swam back to the beach.
"Next time we'll bring a picnic and stay longer," you said as he sat on the speeder behind you.
He kissed your cheek in agreement and you headed home.

Hi Clone-Anon I would like to make a request. I have always been scared of deep water even though I can swim in a pool. Can I get something that's early relationship for a gender neutral reader with Commander Monnk? lie a day on the beach and he finds out you aren't sure about going in the water?
Absolutely! This is my first time writing Monnk so let's see what happens.
Commander Monnk x GN!Reader
Warnings: swimming in the ocean, reader does get in the ocean so if you want a version outside of the water let me know Anon, holding on to each other, hugs, kisses, this is the Clone Anon blog so you're getting fluff
"You coming," Monnk called, already far enough into the waves that he was chest-deep.
"Yeah," you replied, trying to smile back to him. You looked down at your feet as each wave covered your ankles and buried your toes a little deeper in the sand. You took a few steps forward and Monnk approached you. He didn't want to leave you behind. He didn't say anything but reached for your hand. You walked into the water with him and paused once you got to be waist-deep. The waves weren't rough, but you felt your heart pounding in your chest. It almost felt like you couldn't breathe.
"What is it," he asked.
Your attempted grin looked more like a grimace. This was date number four and you were still getting to know each other. You thought a day at the beach could be fun and while the picnic part was, you weren't completely sure about the swimming part.
"I'm scared of water," you replied.
"Water or the ocean," he asked, remembering when he met you, you'd been wading in a small pool at your friend's house.
"It's the deep water that worries me," you admitted. You felt him squeeze your hand a little.
"We can stay on the beach," he offered. "Or if you want to go further, you can hang on to me."
"Are you sure," you asked. "I don't want to ruin the fun."
He pulled you in for a hug and replied, "You're not ruining anything. I just want to spend time with you."
You decided to at least try to go further. He was a fantastic swimmer and if you were going to try to enjoy the deep ocean, you felt he was someone who would make sure you didn't get hurt. You took your time walking further into the ocean. He made sure you always were holding on to each other in some way. He was more than comfortable in the water, his strong legs kicking through the depths. You faced him, trying to tread water along with him and keeping your hands on his shoulders. You started to find a rhythm and had to admit that you even enjoyed the feeling of weightlessness.
When a fish swam up against your leg, you practically jumped on to him. He held you, treading water while keeping your head well above it.
"It's okay," he said reassuringly. "It's just a fish. We're not out deep enough for anything to get us. I promise."
You wrapped your arms around him and took a few calming breaths. After a little while, you started to relax again. You enjoyed his company and felt like you could get used to this. You started noticing some of what was in the water around you.
"Look at that shell," you said, trying to point to one that seemed to be a brighter color than the others that lay around it. Monnk swam you both closer to land so you could stand up, water not only up to your waist.
"Wait here," he said, diving back into the water and retrieving the shell. He handed it to you and kissed your cheek. You cupped his face and returned the kiss, getting lost in his eyes and thinking it might be nice to have another date on the beach soon.
