Macaque has been absent from the living world for countless years, his heart claimed by hatred and hostility before he could understand love. Now, he knows a bit about it as a concept, yet he still hasn’t grasped the feeling. In contrast, Wukong only realized the depth of his love for Macaque after he lost him. Yes, it took losing him to recognize the significance of what they had. He only truly understood his feelings after he lost the one he loved. Silly, isn’t it? But that’s part of his charm, I think.

FUN FACT ABOUT SHOJI ! :D

Shoji is biologically a guy! They do like to have their hair long and at times act like a girl (think of like shape shift)but biologically they’re a guy! This is due to the attachment they had with their biological mother :3

Another fact is that Shoji isn’t how I make them seem. They aren’t the goofy goober kind. He’s actually a serious character when he’s first introduced. Yes later on they express more freely their character and emotions!

Last fact, Shoji is a reincarnation of someone I haven’t revealed yet! Shoji has the previous memories of their reincarnation so that will explain later on their lore and as to why they chase and search for certain person :) As well when I reveal who they are the reincarnation it will reveal more of Shoji’s lore and as to why they act certain ways

Btw! When he first meet Mk he thought he was an idiot with not good enough heroic instincts. As to how he saves people or who he prioritizes when saving the city!
