Halloween Magical Cat Outfit feat. Metamorphose Magical Artefact

Halloween throwback! My cats joined in the fun too. I’ve always wanted a picture with my void while wearing this void-themed dress!

Also, I couldn't resist flaunting my magical cat sceptre from Angels Heart, an impulse purchase I made two years back and regretted because I couldn't find a use for it. I love how matchy matchy my necklace and earrings are with the sceptre, all featuring a cat perched on a crescent moon. 🌙🐱

items i'm waiting for in the mail

i'm waiting for a taobao order! here are the things i'm waiting for.

a monkeep wig! i've never owned one, but i've heard good things about them and this style and color are so cuuute!!! the curly ponytails you can remove and the short style is giving me major visual kei mid 2000's style, which is another reason why i bought it.

then, i bought a fabric! i've eyed these printed fabrics for a while (first saw them on etsy, but then found a taobao shop where it was much cheaper to buy from). it's going to be interested feeling this fabric, since i'm unsure about the quality (it is polyester...). i believe glitter tales has used this fabric? or at least something similar.

i also bought lace that i hope i can match with this print. i bought the black lace, since i have a matching rose lace that i'm going to use for this project at home.

I’ve sort of been on a semi-hiatus for egl fashion and at one point I even thought of quitting it. But each time I wanted to quit, I always get drawn back. Having whittled down most of my collection, I started hunting for stuff on Taobao again. And the first dress that I discovered fell in love with was Honey Honey Lolita’s Cats’ Astrology, because cats. Well there are loads of cat prints these days, but this one is really well-designed, and apparently, it’s one of the Chinese Lolita community’s holy grails as far as concerned for local brands. I missed out on the 2nd preorder, but I managed to get this 2nd hand on Xianyu.

It’s also my first time wearing a cage pannier after seeing some of my Lolita friends wearing it. I was skeptical at first, but it’s so light, airy and comfortable, and more importantly, it can be flatten and stored or carried around easily! I can never go back to regular panniers again lol. Only problem is I keep knocking stuff over with it.
