The Stream
Part 0:The Crash
Warning:Talks about the Natlan drama, references to recent plague outbreaks, other games mentioned
It was a quiet night today, with it raining outside, and you taking refuge in your home. Your parents were on vacation, celebrating their 25th anniversary in Las Vegas for two weeks, leaving you in charge of the house, due to you being the sole occupant of your home.
Currently, you are playing Genshin Impact, having just beaten Divine Consort Radahnn in Elden Ring and needed to make sure that you didn't lose all the runes that you gained. It was sad to lose Sir Ansbach there, with him seeing you as an equal in a land where most saw you as either a lesser being, due to your status as tarnished, or prey in the eyes of the many monsters that inhabit both the lands between and the land of shadows. You couldn't help but wonder what life was like before the game, with all the monsters and beasts that lived in the lands between, especially during the shattering, where the children of the goddess Markia all fought each other for the great runes, fragments of the Elden Ring, which governed the lands between and setting up the rules of nature there.
With the release of Natlan here, you decided to go ahead and travel across Teyvat for one last time before heading off to the nation forged for war. Starting with the plains of Mondstadt, to wandering the streets of Liyue, swimming across Inazuma's islands, traversing Sumeru's forests, and hazing under Fontaine's peninsula, Teyvat was a beautiful place. One where you, like so many other players, wished that you could see with your own eyes. But alas, you couldn't, for no matter how much you could wish for it, the lands of Teyvat were kept behind the eyes of screens, preventing you from traveling there. But as you traveled across Teyvat, you couldn't help but notice new, unseen events occurring.
All across Teyvat, festivals were occurring everywhere there was a population, revolving around a "creator" of Teyvat and their "imminent descent".
In Mondstadt, the festival of freedom was being prepared, where songs were sung of how the creator gave Barbatos the strength and knowledge to help lead the revolution against the tyrant God during the Archon war, and help design the teachings of freedom for the rebels and their descendents to learn. The people of Mondstadt honor the knowledge with them helping remind their children the meaning of freedom and how they should keep it alive so their kids can have the gift their creator blessed them with..
In Liyue, the festival of the trade was occurring, which revolved around tales of the "deal of deals", where Morax made a deal with this creator, where in exchange for the knowledge to form contracts and make divine beings for his nation to be safe in the form of the Yakusha and the Adepti. he had to listen to the advice given to him by the creator, The people of Liyue honor this deal by offering deals that benefit the buyer in the long term, while having a system of favors established for when this festival is done.
In Inazuma, the nation completely changed, with it becoming a merge between Japanese culture, and something unknown with the only point of info there being based on a general history note on the corner of a planner found in Inazuma City talking about the event. "The new decor and style, now found across Inazuma, is based on a combination of Inazuman and Telaki culture, the same culture that the great creator wrote about in their scripts and desires for Teyvat, granting us the power to help make their desired eternity." EI approved the change, with her reasoning being "The creator has means to help carry their will. When I was made aware of my transgressions against the concept of eternity, I knew I had to change my ways to show eternity in the creators image", based on her new voice line regarding the festival. The culture itself bore striking similarities to the nation you were making for you and your friends
In Sumeru, the festival of knowledge was occurring, where the Akademia was retelling the tales of the various scholars that had made great achievements in progress over the years, some of which had been blessed by the creator, leading to great discoveries that helped revolutionize the world of Teyvat into the world that they know it as today. Some of the other activities there involved an open house day at the Akedamida, where parents could visit their kids to see life on the campus, as well an engineering competition between the students, with the winner being granted a position at the Research Institute of Fontaine. Nahida was seen there with Scaramouche, trying to get him to be more social and comfortable with the others there. She seems to be enjoying herself there, happy to be celebrating with her people.
In Fontaine, the festival of justice has retellings of the old myths performed at the Opera Epiclese, mainly those on how the creator set the ideals of the world all day. Outside, some of the other activities there was a fireworks show at midnight, a demonstration of all the recent technological developments across the Nation's institutes, and a new short single player game mode similar to Among Us was established, partially funded by Spina Di Rosula, and helped constructed by the prisoners at the Fortress of Meropride.
With the sudden insertion of a creator for Teyvat, players have begun to draw theories on them, what they're like, and questioning Mihoyo for allowing self-inserts into the game, altering the currently established lore. However, Mihoyo denies purposely inserting a creator into the game, and is conducting an internal investigation to identify how something this big went under their radar with how big it is, with this affecting all of the versions of the game.
Yet, a small percentage of people are questioning if the game is sentient, for modders have been unable to change games files, with attempts to access them failing and being met with the phrase "No false god shall change the design set by our creator", leading to theories that this is some kind of virus, meant to attack Mihoyo for their current Natlan designs and whitewashing.
But you put those thoughts aside, thinking about how chaotic things have been this decade. From Covid at the start of the decade, to a disease called Monkeypox spreading now, this decade went off the rails. But for now, it is not about real life, for it is time for gaming, an escape from reality, you could relax in a world where you are someone else that could make direct changes to another world.
As you begin to travel to Natlan from the outskirts of Sumeru, you find the game starting to look more realistic, with the graphics improving significantly while maintaining the style often found in Mihoyo's games. The land looked amazingly beautiful and lifelike. Yet, something felt odd. It felt familiar, despite you never seeing this land before. Your gut told you to stop playing and turn off the game, oddly, but you decided to ignore it, thinking it was nothing that would put you in danger, but you built up your guard in game in case of an ambush by monsters.
As you kept traveling in the game, being wary of monsters, you felt odd. You felt tired, yet you'd only woken up 6 hours ago. You assumed that it was just boredom and tiredness and kept walking in the game slaying monsters you came across and activating way points. Despite all this, the tiredness didn't go away. Instead, it grew, with sleep becoming heavier and heavier, before you couldn't keep your eyes open. 'Is this what those with Saint Trina feel?' you wondered, falling into a slumber. As you fell asleep, you weren't sure if you heard the traveller, Aether, tell you something, but it was just a murmur to you, as you fell asleep, unprepared for what's to come.
As you fell asleep, Genshin Impact went down for everyone, with them not being able to join on any mode. The developers were unprepared for this, for they haven't released any patches for the game, and believe this to be a cyber attack on their servers, yet only Genshin seems to be the only game down as of now, and no contact has been made with any groups claiming ownership for it.
Across video streaming platforms, Genshin Streamers and Voice Actors alike are talking about the shut down, with streams ranging from theories about its origins, purpose, and those responsible occurring, with lore streams from what has been found in the new update being talked about as well. As the streams about Genshin rage, a new stream emerges. Simply dubbed "The Hunt", there's no account on each of them, with it only showing a timer on it.
Stream will start in 1:08:00:00

[✿] Alien Bullshit
| ➛ ft. Alhaitham
| ➛ hurt/comfort (???) , gn!reader , first "x reader" EVER , based on that one prompt that I can't find anymore :( , Haitham might be too ooc huhu , also there's a bluey reference here (surprise)
Alhaitham didn't know what to expect.
He certainly didn't expect that he'd get abducted by an alien, You. You who had apologized profusely when you had successfully kidnapped him. You who had asked him, begged him to help you with your exam tomorrow. What was the exam about? Why, humans of course! Initially, he refused. Why should he help an extra-terrestrial lifeform that had abducted him? You understood where he was coming from. If you were in his shoes, you would've shat yourself.
Out of desperation, you told him you'd do ANYTHING for him to help you with your exams.
Hmmm... Anything you say? How about a trade? Your species' information, history, and biology for his? You accepted his conditions without hesitation. That exam was your whole life, an entrance to a new career you've been working so hard to achieve.
The two of you began to exchange information. Hows and whys. What's fatal and what isn't? Do you have any countries? Or nations? How about his world? What do you eat? Or rather, do you eat at all? What are visions? What is an Archon? Who are the Archons? What kind of animals does your ecosystem contain? How about his? Are they edible? Yes? No? Do you sleep? How did your kind get so advanced in technology? Why is your kind learning about his? How long does a year last on your planet? How long does a year last on his?
Questions and answers. History, memories, personal experiences. It was fun. Enjoyable, Alhaitham decided. For him and for you.
What was your name? He asked and you told him.
What was his? You asked in return. And he told you.
"Why don't you come to Teyvat?"
"I couldn't. I... I shouldn't. I'd die—"
"But how do you know that? Have others before you tried it out?"
"No... But- but I couldn't possibly—"
"Just try. For me. Please?"
For him? You barely even know him. And he barely even knows you.
And yet it felt like the two of you had known each other for years.
With much convincing, you decided to try it out. You landed in the green meadows of Mondstadt and with Alhaitham in hand, the two of you stepped into the world that he called home. It was beautiful. And you survived. Why did you say that you couldn't? You didn't know at the time. The two of you left Mondstadt and travelled to Sumeru. His nation. His home.
At the time the two of you explored Sumeru. You met his Archon. You met his roommate. You met the Traveller and his companion. You met his friends. What were you so afraid of? Why did you say that you couldn't anyways?
Alhaitham didn't know what to expect at the time.
At the time, the two of you explored Sumeru. He figured he'd introduce you to culture, and the people he would call his friends. You met Nahida, the God of Wisdom. Who's wisdom she passed unto you and you couldn't have been more grateful. You met his roommate, Kaveh. He thought Alhaitham was crazy when he told him about you. You shared stories with one another. You laughed with one another. You wouldn't trade that experience for the world. You met the Traveller and their friend Paimon, who stood by their side throughout their journey.
You met Cyno, his jokes you never understood. You met Tighnari, you found his knowledge to be incredible. You met Collei, you met Nilou, you met Candace, Dehya, Faruzan, Wanderer, Layla, Dori, everyone.
All of them welcomed you with open arms. So what were you thinking? When you said that you couldn't?
You met him. You met Alhaitham. And he welcomed you with open arms.
You took effort in knowing them. Befriending them.
But you couldn't stay with them. You couldn't stay with Nahida and have tea parties with her. You couldn't stay with Kaveh and watch him and Alhaitham bicker with each other. You couldn't stay with the Traveller and Paimon and share stories from other worlds with each other. You couldn't stay and go through Cyno's awful jokes with Tighnari. You couldn't stay with Collei as you help her sew plushies. You couldn't stay and watch Nilou dance. You couldn't stay and watch Candace and Dehya spar with each other. You couldn't listen to Madam Faruzan's lectures and bicker with Wanderer. You couldn't stay with them. You couldn't stay with them all.
You couldn't stay with Alhaitham. Attachment. Connections. Those were what you were so afraid of. You were afraid of leaving someone you had just befriended so soon.
Alhaitham didn't know what to expect.
He didn't know what to expect when he watched you wave goodbye. He didn't know what to do as he watched your ship sail off into the sky. He's conflicted. He didn't expect that it would hurt. That it would tear him apart.
"Look, man. Special people come into our lives. They stay for a bit, then they have to go."
Kaveh told him a few weeks after you had left. (Although they were bickering earlier when Kaveh asked what was wrong with him.)
"But at least the part where they were here was happy, wasn't it?"
It was.

i also dont know much about the geopolitical realities of the genshin world so im just gonna assume from character backstories that sumeru and mondstadt have cultural exchange as well as liyue and fontaine. i feel like fontaine could be a colonial power given the very specific era of france it is (allegedly) based on so it could have farther reach? all of this is because i really like exchange and reframing of physical culture. and the sharing of it

Yes, I was about to talk about the Archons (I'm still not done with the Inazuma quests so I can't really comment fully on it), it's really interesting to see it pointed out that Teyvat hasn't had major wars of conquest since the ancient wars of the setting. Since historically, conquest and wars have indeed spread people and culture, if in a very violent way. But there seemingly isn't any of that, or at least it isn't prominent. There aren't, say, border regions on dispute or anything and that makes sense since there's lot of geographic separation (you find some blending on the Mondstadt-Liyue borders but it's very subtle)
There is also the theme of an overarching religion such as it is, but every place has very marked differences too, Liyue has the Adepti, Mondstadt is mostly hands-off, Inazuma is very tightly controlled, Sumeru has its own thing too... But yes, the role of the Archons in reinforcing these identities seems very important (which makes me wonder what will happen when, no spoilers, but most of those Archons are gone or retired) But it's very possible (though I'll have to play and pay attention to the main quest) that there is an unspoken or maybe spoken agreement among the Archons that everyone will keep the peace and exchanges between the nations, but they will stay as such forever. After all, Liyue is like 3000 years old.
Some scattered thoughts about worldbuilding in Genshin Impact
Mondstadt is tiny compared to all the other* regions of Teyvat, though the city itself is big. However, what's really interesting to me is how close it is to Liyue, which is huge. I joke with my friend that one of the best and funniest things about Genshin is when you first start and after a while the game tells you "you wanna go to China bro? It's just south by that road" and you go and you're indeed in Liyue, no problem, it's so easy.
However, in realistic terms this makes me curious about how a small nation like Mondstadt next to Liyue would develop in realistic terms. The contrast between European-inspired Mondstadt and Chinese-inspired Liyue is striking... however, the thing is, they're just a road trip away, and not even a big road like the Silk Road, they're just next to each other. There are no major geographical barriers like with the other nations of Teyvat. And people like Xiangling do cross the border like nothing all the time, so it means there must be lots of contact between them. There also seem not to be any linguistic differences or barriers, but every RPG ignores that so I'll do it too.
What I mean is that Mondstadt should probably have a LOT more influence from Liyue than what we see in-game. This is especially interesting given that historically China (and Liyue is obviously a stand-in for China) has influenced the nations and cultures around it and they have influenced it too. I would imagine this would be the same for Mondstadt.
So it would be fun to imagine Mondstadt to have some more influences from Liyue. You kind of see this in game sometimes, but it might be more obvious in the architecture, in the dress, maybe more subtle things like spirituality or the organization of the knights of Favonius. Not a complete copy of Liyue, of course, but its own unique thing with lots of influence from it adapted to its geography, environment and people. And also, given that it's the "City of Freedom", it always sounded like the real-life city states of Italy or more like Germany to it. It also fits, since it seems to be a major city-state strong on its own (though unlike Liyue, you don't see a big port, and historically that's how big trading cities were born... however, well, there's teleporting in Genshin, so we should ignore that), something like Venice, in fact, a city in the middle of a lake screams Venice. Interesting to think about the Venetian Republic or the Hanseatic League right next to China. How would that develop?
*of course I know the real-world answer: Mondstadt is intended to be the "starter town" and it was probably the first to be developed, and as the developers got more confident they added bigger and bigger regions until we got the bloated, I mean beautiful, mess Teyvat is today.

Riya
Full Name: Asteriya
Pronouns: She/Her
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Asteriya is a goddess of her own world, a planet far from Teyvat. She is a very benevolent goddess who truly loves and adores her people, and she has done her very best to give them everything they could possibly need to thrive under her care. She has a counsel of trusted individuals who administer her rules, especially when she isn't available. She founded a rehabilitation zone for those who had done wrong or simply lost their way, and she provides shelter, food, and a valuable job while they get back on their feet and learn to be a good member of society again.
Riya regularly travels to other worlds. While she's there, her main goal is to exchange information with the locals, helping everyone in the process. She's more than happy to share the wealth of knowledge she's learned over the years of traveling, and if possible, she arranges trade routes between her home world and the new one. Unfortunately, not everyone is so welcoming of a stranger, so she often conducts her learning in secret, blending in as one of the locals. This is how she ends up in Teyvat, becoming trapped by the same god that trapped the Traveler.
She has a variety of powers as a goddess, though she doesn't often use them in Teyvat. She can create things out of a special material that she can manipulate as though it were clay, and she uses this to experiment and learn, copying techniques and figuring out how things work. She can also, of course, craft things from the gem-like substance to gift to her friends. Another of her abilities is changing her shape, something that comes in handy when she needs to mask her identity, though she primarily uses this ability to change the color of her hair.
Upon arriving in Teyvat, she wandered aimlessly around Mondstadt, absorbing the new culture until the Stormterror crisis led her to joining forces with the Traveler. Once it was time to move on, Riya chose to accompany them to Liyue, and then to Inazuma, helping to solve the crises along the way. As a goddess devoted to change and growing, she was horrified by the current state of affairs in Inazuma. Fortunately, they soon discovered a solution, and she accompanied the Traveler into the Plane of Euthymia the second time, to face the Shogun in battle. This is where she first met Ei.
After all was said and done and the Traveler was ready to move on to Sumeru, Riya had difficulty turning her back on Inazuma and Ei herself. As much as her desire to learn more urged her onwards, she chose to stay behind, at least for a little while. Having earned the trust of Ei and her familiar, Yae Miko, she insisted upon visiting Ei weekly, bringing her a different treat from the outside world each time. Eventually, she won her over, and the electro archon agreed to go out with her to see Inazuma's current state - and having a surprising amount of fun in the process. Slowly but surely, Riya coaxed her out more and more, determined to show Ei how wonderful the world could become if given the chance to flourish. She won Ei's friendship, and eventually, her heart.
In the meantime, Riya grew close to Yae Miko, as well as her lover, Asami, the current incarnation of Miko's soulmate. She shared the weird and wonderful things she had learned from other worlds with them, and gained insight on the best ways to soften Ei's eternally frozen heart. After some not-so-subtle hinting from Miko, Riya realized that she had been developing a crush on Asami, who was also falling for her, and asked her friend out on a date. This is how a polycule officially formed between Ei, Miko, Riya, and Asami. She would later be instrumental in helping Asami, the only mortal member of the polycule, to become immortal as well.
(Asami, also known as Ami, is my friend's oc! She's in love with both Yae Miko and Riya)

i will literally never shut up about venti and nahida they are besties they are siblings sumerus exploration mechanics rely heavily on music that you play on a lyre from mondstadt songs are so integral to aranara culture because each one has their own and aranara spend their entire existences learning others songs in an attempt to find the source song that venti probably has connections to because he knows every song past present and future venti says the dendro archons power of dreams is akin to his ballads so of course they'd get along (what does that mean what can your ballads do?) nahida is trapped by her own people and it is the power of anemo that frees her the aranara call the thousand winds Ad Oblivione "the wind that flows forever, the thousand winds that return to one" (in how time branches out? or how they return to a god?) nahida tells you stories in exchange for a mondstadt drink she specifically has a line about the mare jivari both her and venti have teapot chat voicelines about comforting the traveler through their troubles (ventis ending in him lending his shoulder and nahidas ending in a headpat which i find fucking adorable they care about the traveler so much but that's besides the point) both have connections to istaroth and both were said to be born from branches (ventis of time, which also could very well be irminsul depending on the rukkhadevata memory/time possibly stuff worked, nahida of irminsul) both are the only archons (so far? i doubt the rest will however) to help their nations throughout the entirety of their questlines both give you the most important lore drops of the story so far in their ending quests venti would totally play hopscotch with nahida and he'd 100% be the one to fully accept and understand her dookie analogies
#longer post#long post#genshin spoilers#swearing cw#i kinda word vomited here#anemo dendro connections make me go hhjffjjNSJDNEJKW i need to talk about them#theory time w/ aether

Holds you at gunpoint. Every question for Jupiter. (you can skip some if you want-)
i love you, you motherfucker 🔫
1. what is your character's relationship to the traveler?
jupiter is aether’s and lumine’s big sibling, so they all get along very well. i like to think aether and lumine are way more brash and “act before you think” kind of people, while jupiter usually is the one who takes lead (both because of the big sib energy and because they are way more analytical). that being said, jupiter is aware that the twins are very much capable of surviving on their own and fighting if there is any need for that, which is why even after losing touch with them in tevyat they know that the twins will manage somehow, they just need to find them
2. is your character proud of, ashamed of, or indifferent to their feelings towards members of a certain gender?
i’d like to think that the species/society the trio comes from doesnt give a fuck about gender and sexuality so jupiter would never feel ashamed or upset about their feelings towards specific genders. i dont think they would rlly label themself but they are definitely not straight. as to having feelings towards others: they are usually straight forward in their approach
3. what is your character's relationship with themselves?
jupiter knows their purpose and objective very well, but that often clouds their true desires. i like to think that they havent really been thinking for themself up until they were stranded in tevyat and had to rely on themself. they came to realize their own opinions and perspectives that they carry with themself everywhere they go. tho, their views are rather flexible, because they are very much willing to learn if an oppoturnity arises. that being said, they dont quite know themself well just yet, they are still learning after all
4. what is their favorite region? why?
with how much of the game is available rn, liyue is definitely their favorite so far. it’s culture is incredibly rich and full of fascinating stories and legends. i personally am looking forward to the release of sumeru, but what will come out of it is yet to be seen
5. what is their relationship with Zhongli? do they have one at all?
oh they very much do. while his charm and politeness are qualities that they very much enjoy, what originally drew them closer to him was his vast knowledge over liyue’s traditions and customs. at first during their stay at liyue harbor they would wait to catch him during his afternoon and evening strolls around the city to ask him things and carefully listen to everything he has to say. id like to think that zhongli appreciated having such an active listener and even a conversation partner at some point. eventually their little friendship grew into fondness for each other and they would seek each other’s company, until jupiter straight up confessed. id like to think their relationship is fairly innocent and very much founded on mutual respect and admiration. they both value honesty and communicate with each other rather well. and even though, zhongli hesitated before agreeing to travel with them, leaving liyue behind, he doesnt regret doing it
6. who is their love interest? If they do not have one, who is their closest friend?
while zhongli is both their love interest and their dear friend, venti is their first close friend. during the events of chapter I they both bonded. venti seemed like someone containing a vast amount of knowledge that jupiter was eager to discover. it quickly became apparent to them that the bard doesnt particularly like to talk about the past in detail, but venti still would surprise them with how much he knew about art and the culture surrounding it. they are both pretty light spirited so they always enjoyed each other’s company and their bond only grew stronger during their travels.
7. what do they think of Mona?
they are curious about and intrigued by her methods. they can also very much relate to her pursuit of lost/forgotten knowledge. they like to ask her about astrology and theorize with her, asking her to teach them little things for an exchange of a hot, homemade meal
8. what do they think of The Knights of Favonius?
their opinion on the knights is mixed. they can very much see that most of the people working for them are underqualified and not cut for the job or only doing it for the renown. while the idea of a city without a ruler is appealing, in practice the knights are the ones ruling over it and jupiter was left feeling sceptical when thinking about their methods and the possible future. they dont have anything against the individual people in the organization, but they do think their approach is highly flawed
9. wine is Mondstadt's most popular drink. do they drink wine?
while they do indulge in alcohol from time to time, they dont seem to be able to get drunk or even tipsy. they’ve concluded that since their body is built differently than a person of this world’s, its very probable that they dont react to certain foods and products the same way. alcohol is like any kind of a drink for them and many people are terrified when they see them consume it in large quantities
10. what do they think of Kaeya?
they like his playful nature and think he is a highly intelligent person, who doesnt show anyone what he is truly capable of. his methods, while very cunning, seem rather brash, which somehow reminds them of their siblings. while they are very much curious about his motives and history, they dare not to pray if it isnt welcomed. during their stay in mondstadt they would often times catch kaeya lurking in the tavern and spending time with the local gangs and bandits in order to extort information from them while drunk. in the rarer occasions where he would be alone, they would sometimes keep him company, filling the night with talks about nothing in particular
11. if they were forced to make the choice between killing their love interest/friend or killing themselves, what would they choose? why?
that very much depends on when that would happen. pre-separation with their siblings, they would very much operate on the hard logic of “whoever has more information/more important information should survive”. however after spending time in tevyat and meeting its people, jupiter learns to greatly value life and their inicial stance would change to a more selfless one. the more they get to know about the world the more they are willing to put their life on the line to preserve life in it, especially if its the life of someone they hold dear
12. what do they think of Childe? 16. is there a canon character your character hates? why?
at first they were open to the idea of being childe’s friend, however with time they started noticing that something was wrong with his overt friendliness. when he revealed his true intentions, jupiter was not surprised, but learning what he had chose to do made them absolutely despise him. staying in liyue has taught them a lot and made them care about the people living in this world. however childe seemed to have no disregard to them. they will not hesitate to fight him if their paths do cross again
13. do they carry a lot of Mora?
having a large amount of mora is basically a requirement when travelling with zhongli and venti. jupiter does take on a lot of jobs and comissions, though mora is mostly a secondary issue for them. they do find themself owning quite a lot of it at times until they overspend with their companions and are forced to rely on their survival skills in order to save up enough to get a roof over their heads
14. does your character side with Kaeya, Diluc or neither?
when it comes to the family feud: neither. jupiter doesnt like to pry into family matters and they understand both kaeya and diluc never talking about their issues with one another. while they cant imagine siblings behaving like that, due to their own experience, they dont feel like its their place to judge.
when it comes to the knights of the favonius: jupiter slightly leans more on diluc’s side, recognizing the many weaknesses of the organization as it is, however they both come from different places when critiquing it.
15. what do they think of Venti?
venti has become their best friend and they value him deeply. they worry about him sometimes, aware of the origin of his appearance and the history behind it. they like how venti seems to perceive life in a very poetic way and are fascinated by it. they get along very well and venti often fill their time during their travels by his songs, both known and not yet named
17. how did they acquire their vision?
they seem to be blessed with the same ability as their siblings when it comes to being granted powers without aquiring a vision themself

their curiosity and hunger for knowledge

they utilize the knowledge they have gathered into things they can use to their advantage be it in battle or daily life

pure gold by half·alive
21. what weather do they love the most? why?
they love when its sunny. jupiter very much enjoys the feeling of sunlight on their skin

jupiter would be Ecstatic to get to meet paimon. her vast knowledge in all matters would make her a valuable companion. in the current story they have no idea who she is as of now though
23. what do they think of the Fatui?
while they do not approve of the fatui’s methods, they cant help but think that something much deeper must be going on. jupiter wants to believe that the tsaritsa cant be simply evil and that perhaps she has some other, hidden motivation for her actions. having spent time with and got to know the fatui in liyue, they also know that not all of them are cartoonish bad guys
24. what do they think of the archons?
overall the concept of archons seems very new and intriguing to them. they do try to get as much information about their godhood out of venti and zhongli. they wonder whether this world really needs the archons as much as it claims to

either losing their siblings or losing their memory (its a great fear of theirs)

the Mondstadt Sumeru Cultural Exchange gang is going so hard in my brain rn. I finished the Haitham confession fic I started 2 years ago. Now I picked up a wip I'd only loosely outlined with Haitham AND Kaeya. Thinking on the Dehya confession too. Oooough.
