Mizu's 30 Day OTP Challenge
I wanted to do another 30 Day OTP Challenge, and I found on here, but it had some of the prompts already did from the 30 Day OTP Challenge that I already did. So I created my own, boring a few prompts from the new challenge I found and some of my own. Posting this for myself and anyone else who might be interested.
Getting lost somewhere
Pet names
Patching each other up
Hospital visits
Scar worship
Making fun of one another
A death of someone close
Sleeping in
Hugging
Watching the other sleep
Drawing each other
Having a lazy day
In a Fairytale
Geeking out over something
Teaching each other how to do something
Needing each other
Washing something
One of them is sick
Spoiling one another
Shopping together
Buying flowers for the other
Competing
Being old together
Dealing with children
Trying to seduce one another
Interacting with family members
Moving in together
Falling in love
Doing chore around the house
Pillow talk
Do it if you want, in whatever way you want, and tag it Mizu’s 30 Day OTP Challenge (cause they would be cool). I’ll probably do this myself sometime before the summer is over.

Hii could you do monspiet x derieri for the one shot challenge for number 3? Thxx
Hi. Thank you so much for the ask! Really sorry it’s taken so long to respond, but I hope you like this. Inspired by @thisisaverycreativeurl here is a song fic, this one based on ‘Swinging’ by Black Box Recorder.
If you let me join your gangI’ll show you things you never dreamed of
“Quick! This way! Hurry up!”
Monspeet had hurled himself after her, running as fast as his legs would allow. From the sound of the panting and pounding of feet on tarmac, he had been able to tell that Fraudrin and Galand were not far behind, but he had not really cared. His mind had been fixed on his own survival as his heart raced, his limbs aching from the exertion as adrenaline coursed through his veins. Monspeet had nearly collapsed as a hand pulled him roughly into a clump of bushes and he felt cold, thin fingers pressing over his mouth in a silent instruction to keep quiet. He smiled to himself; say whatever you like about Derieri, life with her was exciting.
After school we’ll steal a carDrive until the feeling changes
That was their first foray into housebreaking, and it had come off too; a result of Derieri’s grand ideas and his own careful planning. The homeowners were out, the security system easy to disable and the contents rather valuable. The haul they had taken gave them a flush of success: until then it had been shoplifting and the odd bit of car theft. But this? This was the big time! The four of them had celebrated, necking Don Perignon from the bottle as they counted the spoils. And they had Derieri to thank for it.
“Nice of you to show up,” he murmured as the air shifted behind him, the smell of her perfume floating to him on the breeze. “Bit of a dramatic place to meet.” He looked straight ahead at star-dusted horizon, ignoring the steep drop at his feet as he waited for Derieri to join him. This clifftop was a local beauty spot, but the choice of location clearly meant something to his partner in crime.
Are you a hardcore hooligan?Did you really burn the old school down?
“Don’t be an ass!” Derieri stepped up beside him and he could feel her arm brush slightly against his. Monspeet turned towards her, unsurprised to see the hard glint of her eyes in the moonlight. He had been expecting a confrontation.
“You stopped me! Why?” Derieri spat, her hands curled into fists at her sides. Monspeet held his breath, then let it go all at once, the action bringing some temporary relief to the tension he felt. She had sought him out in the beginning, he remembered ruefully: a girl lacking a home wanting somewhere to go. Someone had told her he was responsible for burning down the old school building, the lie enough to catch the wayward stray’s attention.
If I set fire to you nowWould you even make a sound?
“What you were suggesting is simply inconceivable.” Monspeet held his ground, returning the cold stare as Derieri bristled with obvious fury. “Stealing is one thing but this was…”
“The next fricking level! That’s what it is.” Derieri looked at him crossly, her lips pressed close together. “Come on! You don’t have to pretend with me. You’re just a coward!”
“This is not cowardice, it’s prudence,” Monspeet insisted, forcing his voice to stay level. “The consequences if we had been caught…”
It’s the end of the affairBet you never thought you’d even get this far
“We wouldn’t have been! We never are. Look down, I dare you!” she snapped, gesturing at the cliff top. “This is how far we’ve come. How far I have brought you. You can’t stop now!”
“I personally feel what you propose is morally reprehensible,” Monspeet stated evenly, ensuring he appeared unperturbed. In reality his heart was beating wildly in his chest, and he could feel his fingers twitching.
Derieri snorted, her eyes narrowing to slits. “We’re burglars you ass! We’re not the good guys!”
“But we do not hurt anyone, not physically,” Monspeet protested. He was not a coward and he would prove it to her. “I will not agree to this. Not now and not ever.”
And I dare you to look downLet’s see how brave you really are
Monspeet could remember the day it had all gone sour, the events seared on his brain with vivid clarity. He was practically there, in the small flat they shared, Fraudrin and Galand sitting round the kitchen table as Derieri explained her latest venture. The house she had found was certainly worth the risk; an elderly couple with a lifetime of savings kept on the premises. Monspeet had been all for the plan until it was clear Derieri did not wish to follow their usual MO.
“Pathetic!” Derieri stamped her foot. “I was only going to rough the old gits up a bit until they told us the code! Who cares…”
“I do. I refuse to hurt people for no good reason,” Monspeet said haughtily as he looked at the girl, although the sight of her almost made him break his resolve. “Nothing can justify that. There are plenty of other houses we can target, ones without impregnable safes.”
All the people have to sayWe don’t like you, go away
Laughter, hard and cruel followed his statement and Monspeet felt a chill right through to his bones that had nothing to do with the cold night breeze. “You don’t get it, do you?” Derieri glared at him, a fierce smile on her lips. “You get on or get out in this game. If you won’t join me then I’ll do it without you.”
Truth be told, Monspeet had expected this, had waited in anticipation for the day Derieri would say those words. Ever since she had taken him to bed, tying the threads of their lives together and his heart to hers, he had waited for the moment their fates would ultimately be severed. He had known something so precious, so perfectly dear to him, had absolutely no prospect of lasting forever.
“Fraudrin and Galand agree,” Derieri continued as she placed her hands on her hips. “They’re sick of this life! Sick of having nothing!” Monspeet tried to think of a reply, his brain buzzing as he looked out at the sky, wondering if the answer lay in pitch black of the night or the small pinpricks of neon from the street lamps below.
Feeling rotten to the coreAnd I don’t need you anymore
A pause. “Your things are outside the door,” Derieri murmured and for the first time Monspeet thought he could detect a twinge of regret in her tone. “They’re all there. No funny business.”
“Well, say something, you ass!” Derieri growled. Monspeet tried, but nothing would come to him. It was like his voice box had shut down, the impending loss pressing down hard on his larynx. His tongue felt like sandpaper, his mouth feeling dry as he attempted to force something out of his mouth.
No I don’t needYou anymore
“Fine!” Derieri stepped back from him, one last look of fury shot in his direction before she walked away, heading towards the road. Monspeet watched her progress, wondering if he should call her back before deciding against it. She was clearly not going to change her mind, and neither was he.
Still, it was with some surprise that he watched as Derieri approached a stranger standing next to a parked vehicle. The man was tall, his frame bulky, his messy silver hair shining in the light of the moon. As Derieri took his hand, allowing him to usher her into the car, Monspeet felt the ache bloom in his chest. Lips pressed together he watched as the car drove away, the cry of pain he wanted to vocalise dying in his throat.

Spookytime
Ahaha, so our writing group challenged us to write a Halloween short based on a random prompt. Mine was “serial killer”... so I wrote about a corn maze. I promise that Plan A for this fic involved meeting the prompt.. Anyway, I hoped to feature both Monderi and Melizabeth, but most of what I wrote was just the melizabeth bits.
I will probably finish this another time because writing horror is hard and challenges are good for growing as a writer. For now, I hope Halloween was exactly as spooky as all my American friends hoped it would be.
Derieri took a breath and slid out from behind Monspeet’s heavy cloak. Several acres of crops stretched out in front of them. The apricot moon hung heavy in the sky like a fruit ready to be plucked. Its yellow cast made the stalks of corn look sick and wilted. She pushed the scraggly bits of her bangs away from her face to glare into the darkness. Somewhere out there, crouched between the rows, squatted a man accused of many demon murders. At least, that’s what the sign at the entrance to the haunted maze said.
Her best friend—boyfriend? come back later—leaned over her. A warm breath brushed over her ear.
“Ready?” he said in a growl, probably the scariest voice he could muster. She snickered.
“Nice try.” She slid out from underneath him with a swat for good measure. “Let’s go before the line gets long.”
Several places in front of them in the queue stood another couple, a tall, silver-haired young woman beside her short blond boyfriend. They waited in amicable silence until the attendant, who was dressed as a horrifying fusion between a scarecrow and a red demon, waved them through the entrance.
The screen of cornstalks swallowed the sound of Samhain Feste behind them. Elizabeth faltered at the abrupt quiet, then took a bracing breath and strode ahead into the dark.
They walked without speaking, accompanied only by the crunch of dry stalks trampled underneath their shoe. The corn reached taller and taller as they descended into the maze, tall enough to block the waxy glow of the moon and bathe the passageway in darkness. It crept close around them, so much so that her fingers could have brushed the stalks on either side.
A breeze began to shake the field. Moonlight flashed between the swaying leaves, illuminating one strip of ground and then another in erratic flickers so that the ground itself seemed to be rocking back and forth in time with the gusts. And in the shadows between the knives of dappled light appeared a silhouette—a stranger.
She stopped dead. Meliodas pulled up short behind her.
They looked harmless, albeit strange with their narrow, lanky frame and the ashen pallor peeking through their cloak. She took one step toward them. They matched it.
She glanced over her shoulder, reassuring herself that Meliodas still flanked her. He was right behind her; his pale shirt collar stuck up through the neck of his jacket like a beacon. As if he heard her thoughts, he nudged her and pointed at the stranger out in front of them who was suddenly close, very close, within arm’s reach and looming over them, silent.
She shied backward into Meliodas. And she kept shying, kept curling in, curling back, without meeting the warmth of his chest. Her heartbeat guttered in her chest. He was gone!
She spun, eyes wide, ready to search the dark. But then, there. There was the little white collar flag and a short silhouette that she figured must be the rest of him. She reached out, touched his shoulder, and sagged into his embrace. Familiar warmth enveloped her like a shield. Nonetheless, she trembled. She could feel the stranger’s eyes latched to her back. She ignored the searing gaze as best she could, focusing instead on the smell of Meliodas’ shirt, the feeling of his armored hug, the sensation of their feet shuffling in tandem to carry them away from the specter.
Once they moved around the next corner, the pressure lifted.
They kept walking, this time hand in hand. Their shoulders brushed as the corn encroached ever more upon the walkway in between the rows. Everything around them was still, even the wind. So very, very still.
Something that she couldn’t quite make out caught the corner of Elizabeth’s eye. She squinted at the dim corner, and her heart jumped into her throat at what she thought she might be seeing: a lump of shadow on the ground, twitching, convulsing—
“Oh my God, there’s something there!” She skittered backward with a squeal, nearly plowing Meliodas flat into the dirt. His hands gripped her shoulders, firm and even. Their warmth and his familiar touch grounded her; within a moment, her breath began to steady.
“Sorry,” she breathed.
“I don’t mind. You good to go?”
She took just the tiniest peek over his shoulder. A pair of curved horns arched up from the figure she could just make out, waiting for them to come near enough for its attack. Panic jumped up her throat again. She shook her head.
“That thing is still there…”
“We’ll just run right past it together, ‘kay? One, two, three, c’mon!” He pulled her forward with him as he hopped into its range, but her body dug its heels into the ground and held her there despite how Meliodas tried to tug her in. His hands came free of hers as the creature snatched at his feet, forcing him to dance away from its grabs with hurried, hopping steps. Elizabeth released a breath she didn’t know she’d been holding when he stepped out of its reach unaccosted.

Monspeet trapping himself in a illusion/afterlife of what he truly desires.
He was watching from the sidelines, hearing faint laughter from where he was sitting. The loud splashing of water as the two girls ran around in the lake, chasing each other in pursuit.
Monspeet was happy seeing Derieri smile. It was something that he always wanted to see for a long time. And now she had a friend, someone who they both trusted.
Years and days merely became hours; Minutes even. Scenes of them just living their lives, no need for a holy war, and free from their commandments.

I like to think that when Monspeet & Derieri were getting accustomed to the village, they were the talk of the town.
Not because they fell from the sky or were probably demons, but because everyone thought they were together or a couple. Every week at least 5 different rumors about them popped up that had to be dispersed by Annie cause it was going out of control and one rumor had a entire different village come over and get involved

It was a sight that she didn't expect to see, but was inevitable in the situation.
Watching how everyone laughed and talked at the table. The strong smell of booze in the air. A get-together hosted by Zeldris, where Galand & Melascula brought more than enough booze to keep them partying for a week. They had no idea where they got it from however, saying "booze is booze".
And here everyone was, most drunk and almost passed out. Drole decided not drink and Gloxinia took one sip of what they brought and almost puked. Galand was on the floor and Melascula was close to joining him, swaying side to side.
That's when Derieri looked at Monspeet. Who was also drunk, his face was red and he looked like a mess. Nobody expected him to drink much, although being able to drink most under the table. He had a drunken smile; Derieri sighed at him, being a little tipsy herself. She got up to head outside. He noticed, and wanted to go with her.
Halfway out the door, she heard his drunken cries.
"Derieri! wait for meeeeee"
When he caught up to her, Derieri noticed that he was stumbling. Like he was about to fall, and she was right.
"Derrrri"
The calling of her name caused Monspeet to trip on one of the stairs. Derieri quickly caught him, and with a sigh of relief; lifted him up to give him a piggyback ride.
"It's time for us to go home."
"What you mean? i'm already home"
"No, you're not; we're a long way from home"
"But Derieri..." He looked up at her with a smile
"You are my home."
Her eyes lit up when it hit her, a strong blush came to her face. In a way; she knew that he would say that. But it was still nice to hear, and the look on his face made him adorable.
"You're an idiot.." she muttered
"I know"

The ten commandments being forced to take a road trip after Meliodas recommended it to calm their nerves, with Zeldris as the designated driver
Zeldris lost his mind.
Galand complaining about how the car was too cramped; and how Gloxinias wings were getting in the way, even though Gloxinia couldn't fold his wings in a situation like this. Fraudrin also was cramped even when he was at his smallest form, but chose to stay quiet.
Drole couldn't go for obvious reasons. And Grayroad was too busy being stuck as Merlin's testing bug
Estarossa was singing at the top of his lungs, turning up the radio louder and louder whenever he got the chance. His high pitched voice caused the already pissed Melascula to snap at him. Which devolved into her bickering with Galand for the forth time.
Then Zeldris turns the rear-view mirror, and he sees Monspeet and Derieri. Who were somehow sleeping through everything once again. Head on each others shoulders and were very comfortable sleeping with to one another.
Seeing them makes him think of Gelda, however it quickly turns bitter when he remembers how many times they've ditched out on meetings and missions. Only to find them sleeping anywhere hours later. Thinking about it makes Zeldris pissy, and all the chaos going around him makes him lose it. He swerves the car in anger, hoping it would shut everyone up after.
Everyone goes crashing along with the cars swerving, and it's just enough to wake the couple up.
Naturally Derieri is irritated, while Monspeet is pretty cranky because both of them were having a nice dream. It only goes downhill as Derieri and Galand strike each others nerves and Melascula has to try to clam her down cause Monspeet didn't even bother
Zeldris honestly wished he swerved the car of the highway, and the commandments never did a road trip ever again.

Her other half, the person she loved. And now he's gone
I dunno maybe i'm thinking too much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
