MONIQUE RYAN. Thrilled to have the photographed the badass treasurer slayer herself again for today’s cover of @goodweekendmag. I had the honour of shooting Monique’s campaign photo all those months ago in late 2021, and it was such a surreal moment shooting this cover, like we’d come a full circle. One minute Mon was bustling into her house in her scrubs (she’d just come from her job as a doctor), next minute we’re at @sunstudios with hair and makeup artists tweaking her “unelectable hair” and stylists draping her in teal fabric (not, please note turquoise). I kept imagining a *record scratch* “you’re probably wondering how i got here” tv show style cut. Anyway. How awesome. Out today in the SMH and GW.
