13. “Happy New Year my love” | Larissa x fem!reader | angst | okay u wanted this its on u love, Larissa recalls a recent New Year's party with a reader. They were so happy because they found out that the reader was long-awaited pregnant with Larissa(magic or whatever). The reader died during childbirth but the child survives. The whole thing ends with Larrissa glancing at the photo of the reader, raising her glass up and saying : "Happy New Year my love".

“Issa, I need to tell you something,” you whispered and pulled her out of the crowd. There were so many people in your house even if they were only your family. Your parents were there and also Larissa’s, her brother with his kids and your cousins with aunts too.

“What is it my love?” Larissa asked you as she took a sip of champagne and you realized that her brother was sitting next to her.

“Can you please help me with the food in the kitchen? I will tell you there,” you said with a smile on your lips and Larissa looked around, a little suspicious.

“Of course.”

As both of you stood up, it didn’t really did anything. No one realized that you were leaving the room because everyone was talking about something. So both of you got out of the room unseen and you walked into the kitchen with Larissa.

“So… I wanted to tell you something as well,” you started and Larissa looked at you with a bowl of salad in her hands. “And if I was you, I would put that down.”

Surprise settled on Larissa’s face but she did as you told her to do. Her eyes were still on you and she was waiting for you to tell her the news you had found out few days ago. You smiled softly and walked over to the shelf in the kitchen, taking a little wrapped box front here, handing it to Larissa.

“Open it.”

“What is that?” Larissa asked as you handed her the little box and you smiled at her even wider. Larissa took the box and opened it immediately, her eyes going wide as she saw the pregnancy test, a pair of little white shoes and the photography of an ultrasound you had been to. Her mouth opened softly and you were hoping in that she was even a little happy about that you were expecting a baby.

“A-Are you-“ she just looked up at you and you nodded your head. Without any words, she stepped even closer to you, already crying. Hugging your body tightly but gently enough, you felt her tears drop onto your shirt. “You are going to be a mum!”

“And you are going to be a mum too,” you mentioned her and Larissa sobbed into your shoulder.

“Mamma why are you crying?” A child’s voice filled the bedroom what made the blonde look up. She was holding a picture of you two while you were 9 months pregnant, few days before the labor. Larissa sobbed and she dried her tears in her sleeve.

“Come here baby,” she called Celia closer, reaching out her hand for her little girl. As she walked over to her, Larissa sat her daughter on her knee and showed her the photo.

“That’s mommy!” Celia pointed her finger out and Larissa nodded her head.

“Yes it is,” she admitted and let another tear fall from her eye. “Now do you know what is out little tradition?”

“Yes! Sparklers!” Celia jumped off her knee and ran out of the room. Larissa let out a quiet exhale and held the picture against her chest while standing up. She went to search for her little girl.

When they both were prepared and Celia was dressed really well, Larissa took the lighter and she handed one sparkler to her daughter. Leaving the house and walking into the cold weather, they closed the doors behind themselves and walked to the backyard.

Celia held the sparkler out for her mother. Larissa took it with a soft smile and helped her daughter with lighting it up. When she was finished, she lit up hers and got onto her daughter’s height level. Larissa took Celia’s hand and they both looked at the sky, the crystal blue eyes full of tears.

“What do you want to say to mommy?” She asked her daughter softly and Celia took a deep breath.

“I miss you mommy. And mama misses you too. Happy New Year,” the little girl said and Larissa looked up at the sky too.

“I love you darling. Happy New Year my love.”

And just like that, May is over! 😱 How was your reading this month? . . I started the month by giving birth to my twins -- doctors literally started me on drugs to induce labor around 1am on May 1st and they were born about 27 or so hours later. 👶👶 So I didn't expect to get much reading done. But surprisingly, I finished 9 books! I've been doing almost all of my reading during my pumping sessions, and then sometimes while holding a fussy baby. 📚 My Kindle has been such a blessing, because it's the easiest way to read while juggling a baby (or two). I've got a few physical books I'd love to get to soon, but we'll see how that goes moving forward. Also, HUGE thanks to @berkleyromance for all the e-galleys of upcoming releases. . . A few of you have asked about this pillow you've seen the twins chilling on in my stories; it's the @twinzpillow_onezpillow & is easily one of the best baby purchases I've made. It's great for both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, and obviously is a great place for the babes to relax while my husband and I get things done around the house. YAYYY!!

I read the last 6 chapters of the book and man they were exciting and enticing I was not able to even change my sitting position... as the murderer of the infamous writer was caught by the famous Strike and his assistant Robin in a cold night on the Sloan Street...

Now I am off to binge watch the famous SENSE8 season one I have a sore neck and sleeping husband and kids beside me...

Do read it it is good read and you will like it more if you are a fan of scene description which I am not 😏

Finally A "Theory"

The famous Strike has a theory about the murderer but still not telling it to anyone other than his assistant which is annoying but that is the suspense.... story is gripping and I'm on this chapter where London is covered in deep deep snow( tunes like frozen)... I am in middle of chapter 42 and 8 more yo go hopefully I might be able to finish it before coming Monday if my kids let me sit quiet for just an hour... wish me luck

NEW READ... SILKWORM by Robert Galbraith..

Finally after a long long wait I was able to get my hands on this one and being a mother of two with a home management all time plus I am little lazy to do my chores I have started this book almost 10 days ago and still not in the middle but now it is getting my attention as story has taking good turns...

It's the famous Strike Series I haven't watch any episode of this series. I loved Cuckoo's calling so wanted to read some of more this... story is based in London again...

How many books did you end up reading in June? 👶📚👶 If I'm able to finish TAKE A HINT, DANI BROWN today, it'll be 10 books for me -- these three, plus several ebooks. . . I'm honestly shocked by how much I've still been managing to read while juggling these two bozos (who will officially be two months old on Thursday). But I'm grateful to find pockets of reading time each day: when I pump, when I'm rocking one to sleep (easier with an ereader), or just in the short quiet lulls during naps when I take some time for myself. I'm sure I will lose some of this time when I start working again, but for now, I'm just going to enjoy it, along with all the mundane joys of daily life with my little babes. . .
