This is happening to me, but weird thing is my desktop browser decided to go back into new system one, so I’m not sure what’s going on. Glitch?

I just logged in my browser (since I logged off around 12 am and I didn’t had the update) and now I do.

My app keeps having the old code so idk :/

Now I’m using a code for keeping the old dash code but it doesn’t look good at all, but it’s better than the update ugh

matcha ice cream ー how do you sleep? ex. curled up / sprawled out? blankets on / off? be descriptive (●´ω｀●)

I sleep in a straight position, with my back up, so that my stomach touches the matress. I love to have the blanket all over my body, up to my shoulders and I usually hold my hands close to my cheeks. When I’m afraid of the dark or I’ve just had a nightmare, I curl up and hold my plushies as close to me as possible (*^^*)

I want to know if anyone got the same problem with me, on the newest APK extension update I can't download it at all from QooApp even if I can perfectly fine download the game APK and installed it, but the extension keeps getting stuck and won't download at all?

Jules and I had that issue a few weeks back, it’s on QooApp’s end. Just keep trying every so often until it works. Sometimes QooApp’s servers are slow and thus you have problems downloading the extension files, that’s all.

Favorite male character: Kurapika

It was originally going to be a tie between Kurapika and Chrollo but Kurapika won out in the end.

I adore him to bits. Kurapika’s unexpectedly one of the most straight-forward characters in the series, but he’s written so well that he’s still relevant and interesting in the main story no matter what happens. He’s a young man that seeks revenge on the people who slaughtered his tribe for their eyes, and taking back all the stolen eyes from the collectors in the world. He’s intelligent and rational most of the time, but he’s also brash, highly emotional, and immature. He’s very prideful and that buoys him through most of the series, yet we also see him eating that pride just so he can get a chance to defeat his tribe’s killers. He claims to be self-serving, but we see him helping several people out. He’s this mishmash of very contradictory qualities but it still makes sense in his character’s case.

And I guess what I love the most about his character is the twist that the narrative hands him. When he was younger, he wasn’t allowed to venture out of their mountain because the tribe was afraid that he’d reveal the scarlet eyes and collectors would hunt them all down. But he’s gotten tired of their mountain and wants to go to the outside world. He’s eventually allowed to go out in order to seek out a doctor for his cousin, Pairo, but he hasn’t even begun his search yet when his entire tribe gets slaughtered. The outside world that he’d been seeking his entire childhood life had taken away his family and his friends. He’s left with nothing but the outside world now. No place to run. No place to go home to.

Favorite female character: Pakunoda

In my opinion, Paku has nearly all the best moments in the series. We first meet her as this killer who only acts upon whatever Chrollo tells her to do, or for whatever’s good for the Spider. We see her with a blank face, or a slightly amused smile as she’s killing people left and right. Then we see her as this highly intelligent individual that tries to cover for all the things that Chrollo and the others might have missed. We see her extreme loyalty to the Spider, to the point that she just shrugs off the insults and injuries thrown at her. Finally, we see her at her breaking point, when she reveals that all the members of the Spider are human too, no matter how much they try to tone it down. We catch a glimpse of this when Nobunaga cries for Uvogin’s death, but after he sheds his tears, we see no other effect on him.

Paku is different. Towards her end, it is revealed that she’s extremely loyal to Chrollo and to the others, not necessarily to the Spider itself. I cannot stress the difference between these two loyalties enough. She tries to preserve all of their lives, even to the possible detriment of the Spider. All the other members rationalize that they should just cut off all the “faulty limbs” including the “head” just so that the rest of them could keep going. Paku however, wants to save as much of the Spider as she could, to the point that she willingly plays into the enemy’s hands just so she could save Chrollo. She knows she’s at a disadvantage. She knows all the risks. And yet she just keeps on going.

In her final moments, she’s still given this chance at life. But Paku, precious precious Paku, doesn’t want that. Instead, she gives up her own life just so that the other members could know more about their enemy.

Least favorite character: Shaiapouf

It’s not that I hate his character, but I think he’s the one I’m least emotionally invested in. His devotion to his King is admirable (to a certain degree), but he didn’t leave that big of an impression on me.

Favorite ship: None

I don’t really ship anyone in HunterxHunter. I find some of them cute together, but that’s it.

Favorite friendship: Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio

Their friendship’s one of the most beautiful relationships I’ve seen in all the series and movies I’ve watched. The love, respect, and support between all of them is palpable, even when they’re cities or continents apart. There’s rarely a  point when they go, “What you’re doing is wrong so I’ll help you change into what’s right.” They just go “I might not entirely approve of what you’re doing, but I’ll still be here for you and support you while you figure things out for yourself.” There are no lectures, no coddling, no guilt-tripping, and no abandonment. There’s just this continuous support between them that they can tap at any time when they want to.

This strikes an especially deep chord with me because most of the time, I just run from absolutely everything when the going gets tough. I tend to buckle down, and hide away. I’m slowly starting to unlearn it, but it’s very difficult at times. All the time I’d keep on thinking about all the things that I could do wrong and barely start on whatever it is that I want to do. My fears and anxieties tend to overpower me, and I’m left with nothing but regret in the end.

Worst character death: Meruem and Komugi

I guess this is the worst and best death for me. Their death is so quiet, so poignant, and so sad. The most powerful being in the world dies silently at some abandoned corner in a ruined castle with this blind girl whose only talent is her ability to play shogi. This is against a background of several powerful hunters and ants fighting grand battles. You have all these explosions and shouting taking place, but the root of it all, the main target, just passes on quietly and at peace.

There are no declarations of love, no promises to remember each other. The entire scene takes place in the dark, with a firefly lighting segments of the room as it flies around. There’s only dialogue, and they’re not talking about profound things. They’re bidding good night to each other as they die.  And yet, it’s the scene I remember the most.

This made me so happy you have no idea moment: When Gon and Reina met

I really love this moment because it’s the point when Gon’s finally released from his guilt. It’s been weighing down on him and eventually transformed him into a monster (see next question). His friends and comrades have been trying to reach out to him to dispel this guilt for several months now. And Reina just easily releases him from it with a conversation.

I guess I really love it because it’s a nice and positive message about forgiveness. To a lot of us, forgiveness seems so easy to trivialize, easy to dismiss and dispense. But here we see that relief that comes flooding into Gon’s eyes the moment Reina tells him that he had nothing to apologize for. He’s turned back into that cheerful kid he used to be before the Chimera Ant uprising, and Reina’s words were all it took.

Saddest moment: When Gon transformed into a monster

Honestly, I can’t think of a sadder moment than this, when this optimistic kid forces himself to grow up just to deal with the horrors that the world throws at him. He’s decided that his 12 year old self wasn’t enough, and he was willing to transform into a monster in order to beat another monster.

It’s a common theme in shonen, but I think this is the first time I’ve felt just how horrible theme it is. It’s telling these young children that you aren’t enough, that to be able to beat a monster, you need to become a monster yourself.

Favorite location: Greed Island

Personally, I find it the best-looking and most intricately-designed environments within the HunterXHunter world.
