This beauty is still with me. Despite her being a ‘fave’ and garnering lots of ‘oohs’ and ‘aah’s’! and inquiries from peeps...she is still available. Kind of surprises me but doesn’t. I have learn’t to trust that paintings always have their own timing and journey in finding their Collector. I just have to proffer them up (the one’s I am able to part with) and they land where they may...and when they decide. Some pieces get claimed prior to even being finished and others wait for years. She is turning into a grungy mixed media girl with torn vintage dress patterns and music sheet papers adorning her. Also her story is changing. With coffee, chocolate & charcoal hues, the title of ‘Some days are like that’ is shifting to ‘The Comforter’. Wanting to keep her simple and wintery, so resisting the urge to add too much.
