Ace had gone on an errand for the captain and… You missed him. You missed him so much. Even if it had been only three months, the fire wielding man had a grasp on your heart and you had the same effect on him. It was Valentine’s Day and no word from your boyfriend. You did the chores of the day and constantly asked Marco for any updates on Ace and when he would return. You were disheartened each time they said that they had no updates. 

You slumped down on the deck and played with some of your hair. It was originally brown but due to your dislike of how it looked, you dyed it red while he was gone and you hoped that your boyfriend would like it because you liked how it looked. It brought out your blue eyes.

The rest of the day was just filled with boredom and sadness with no word from him. The crew could tell that you missed him but they swore to keep his arrival a surprise like he asked. That was a huge feat since they were so many members that could have leaked the secret. And they almost did! So many of them couldn’t handle the sad look on your face. You yawned and thought it best to head to bed, realizing that you shouldn’t expect him back tonight.

You laid in bed and with the calming waves slowly helping you doze off. Your eyes opened when you heard a thump from the hallway outside your door. You blinked and sat up, looking at the door. You weren’t worried, if it was a raid, the crew would have stopped it so it could only be a crew member. The door swung open and your eyes widened at your boyfriend, waddling in. He dropped a giant bear on the ground and a white box, rubbing his head. In his other arm, he was holding a bouquet of multicolored roses. When he saw you, he grinned and put the flowers down before opening his arms up. You scrambled off the bed and ran over, almost knocking him over with your embrace with a grin on your face. 

“You’re back!” He chuckled and his arms immediately heated you up once they wrapped around you. You sighed and relaxed against them, feeling chills up your spine at having the familiar feeling back.

“Sorry for taking so long, Molly. I got stuck at an island trying to get these different colors of roses.” You giggled and leaned up, your smile matching his. 

“I would have just been happy with you showing up earlier.” He leaned forward and rested his forehead against yours. 

“I’m sorry. I’ll be sure to make it up to you.” He pressed his lips against yours, making you smile against his lips while you kissed back. The kiss was slowly deepening and you tangled your fingers against his hair. He winced and pulled away, rubbing at the side of his head. You blinked and cupped his face, tilting his head to see it clearer.

“Did you get this from that thump I heard earlier?” He grinned sheepishly and nodded.

“I couldn’t see so I bumped my head against the landing when you go down the stairs. You tried to hold back from laughing but it didn’t work as you burst out laughing. He laughed along with you, your laughter being contagious.

“You’re so silly!” 

“But I got you all these presents! Doesn’t that count for something?” You smiled and leaned up to press a small kiss on his lips. 

“It does. It’s very romantic of you. I appreciate it.” He grinned and hugged you again, stroking your hair.

“You dyed your hair?” You had completely forgotten and tugged at a couple strands nervously.

“Y-Yeah. What do you think?” He grinned and ran his fingers through your hair.

“Yeah! You look so pretty with it!” You giggled and squeezed him. 

“Thanks, Ace.” You grasped his hand and tugged him to the bed. “But for now, let’s get some sleep. You owe me some major cuddling sessions.” He chuckled and hugged you when the both of you laid down, purposefully raising his temperature so that it kept you warm for the night as the both of you finally went to bed in each other’s arms.

- Grayson would be on a mission to help you overcome your fear of heights. He would take you to the rooftops which he is very familiar with since he has been jumping around ever since he was a little kid. 

“Trust me? Hang on, alright?” He would give you a reassuring smile and wrap your arms around his waist before falling off the rooftop like it was no big deal. You would hang onto him tightly and scream your lungs off. 

- He knows your favourite spot to relax is in the hills behind your house. He would prepare a picnic with candle lights and a blanket to lay on with some pillow. Let’s not forget the wine and food (he would have ordered takeaway cause this boy doesn’t know how to cook).

- He would play some music in the living room just to watch you dance but you would always pull him in to join you and he would. He didn’t want to be a party-pooper. Rather than he being the one swinging you around elegantly, you would be the one. “Girl, what that belly do?” cause he knows you can belly dance and it always amazes him. 

- He would surprise you in the morning by singing your favourite music outside your window. Sometimes he would watch you sleep and play with your red hair. You always seem peaceful while sleeping.

he probably struggles with cooking various different dishes. wanting to surprise his s/o though, he’d try making an amazing dinner. he fails terribly, it’s adorable, the kitchen almost exploded in between and he spends the rest of the day cleaning the mess.

he thinks sharks are super cool!!! he loves going to aquariums and the underwater world is really fascinating to him

speaking of underwater world, he loves beaches. especially when he gets to play volley ball!

him at concerts is picking up his s/o and letting them sit on his shoulders so that they have a better view of the stage!

if he’s really bored, he’ll spend the weekend working on renovating the bathroom or something and make it look real fancy.

frequently stops everything he’s currently doing to help an old lady across the street or carrying some heavy boxes for someone who struggles with it.

Izaya definitely has a cat. The man basically is a cat himself, let’s be real. Lord help me, I love cats, especially asshole cats. Izaya’s cat is the biggest jerk alive, worse than him, oh my god.

Izaya’s cat screams until you pet it. Really clingy and meowing until satisfied, but do it for one second too long and your skin will be covered in scratches all over.

Also distracting Izaya constantly. Lying down on his keyboard while he’s working – and funnily enough, Izaya doesn’t mind. Usually he’s annoyed when someone distracts him from work, but he’s always willing to serve his cat, same Izaya, same.

Doesn’t get along with the other pets at all. I wonder why?

Cheer up, buttercup!!

Imagine Erika and Walker “borrowing” Kadota’s dog for a cosplay session. They dress him up all nicely, with a pink bow and cute accessoires. When Kadota steps in and sees his pet, he freezes and the Otakus start fearing for their lives. They begin to throw around with apologies and beg for him to show mercy, but then realize Kadota isn’t doing anything. He’s just standing there, staring and his face lights up and he starts petting his dog all happily, so proud of how cute he is!!!

Kadota comes home from a really long day at work, he’s all tired and exhausted and it’s late evening. His dog patiently waits for him at the door, tail swirling back and forth and paws tapping the ground excitedly. Once his owner is back, he is greeted by a happy bark and Kadota instantly feels better. He picks up his dog and sits down on the couch. Despite being tired, he still plays with him a little, tossing the toy at the animal for it to be brought back. “good boy! who’s my best boy?”

Usually, Kadota is a little strict when it comes to his dog sleeping in his bed. He doesn’t really like it and has him sleep in his own dog bed besides his. One night though, where he felt especially energy drought and just moody, he’s okay with his dog jumping on the mattress and cuddling up against his owner to cheer him up. What a loyal little guy.

The van gang throwing a party for the dog’s birthday and even giving him a gift! A really pretty dog collar with his name engraved and little emojis of chibi Kadota and chibi dog, drawn by them personally.

Yas! More about Kadota dog lover! I feel like he'd end up with a dog that everyone would say looked like him! He'd never see it but everyone else, especially Erika and Walker, would totally see it! Also the dog gets as excited around humans as Kadota gets around puppers!

Erika and Walker would probably come up with the dog’s name and call it by that, no matter what Kadota says about it. They’d probably mix up or rearrange his name, so they’d call the dog Kyo-chii ahhh!! And they’d play with him all the time and probably buy silly accessoires and stuff ehehe

About our Kadota trash conversation... I can just imagine him being a dog person, an animal person really, but loves dogs... Especially huge dogs. Now imagine him walking down the street in Ikebukuro and a huge dog, Tibetan mastiff or Alsatian, just a mahoosive pupper charging at him and externally he's like "omg, huge dog, jumping at me!" but internally, he's like "OMG IT'S A PUPPY! A HUGE PUPPY! A SWEET PUPPY, MUST HUG AND TAKE HOME!" but no one knows this internal monologue XD

i bet Kadota with dogs is the same as Sebastian with cats
