Today was a special day day. We had a cider stall at the inaugural Molewood apple festival. Glorious blue skies. Surrounded by apple trees heavy with eating apples . Many apple themed stalls. Morris dancing. Pick your own. So many visitors. A great family day out. #apples #cider #wairarapa #greytown #molewoodorchards

Speak about Franne

Okokok I was hoping someone would ask because I think about this AU a lot.

For Anne: She lands in a park near Molewood, the equivalent of the woods here. She meets sprig a week or two later and their interaction went something along the lines of: “AAAAA WHAT ARE YOU??” “DON’T EAT ME” “ew what” and it takes them a couple minutes to stop freaking out.

Instead of a beast in the woods, the neighborhood of molewood decides there’s a pesky raccoon that’s been digging through their garbage (girl’s gotta get her flies somewhere) and sprig was trying to catch it, but after meeting Anne he’s basically like “I’m not letting my new froggy friend get nabbed by pest control” and he takes her home with him. Hijinks ensue.

(Also something I thought would be cute is that sprig let her wear his jacket because she’s not used to the temperature difference (amphibian) but eventually digs through his old toddler clothes and finds a little one for her which is what she’s wearing in the drawing) (Also molewood instead of wartwood because moles are like the human equivalent of warts? I guess?? Idk.

For Sasha and Marcy: I haven’t really fully fleshed out where they end up yet, I was thinking that the Toads could be like a local gang, who run a fighting ring. Basically how it works is they charge an entry fee and pool it for the winner prize, but put their own fighters in the tournaments to rig it. At first they use Sasha as a bet to see how long it takes to wrangle her in the ring offering freedom if she wins (because they don’t think she’s gonna), but after she beats all of them Grime strikes a deal with her similar to what he does in canon.

Marcy ends up in a different state, I’m assuming with some sort of government agency, and Andrias studies her under the pretext of wanting to help her find her friends, and to perhaps harness the power that brought her to earth.
