I think it's interesting and even a little encouraging that, even though I know it's more than just twitch money and that various sponsorships/orgs/merch etc. money is involved, that these guys are able to make a decent living with only 100-1000 viewers regularly.

I think people forget just how many streamers are doing it full time with around 100 viewers. twitch is lucrative ESPECIALLY sponsorships. barring even the actual stream itself, they have hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter and Instagram. that pays.

I remember when I was watching tub bo regularly when he had around 3-4k a stream last year, and he would always complain to cpk (who had around 100 average viewers) that cpk got way more sponsorships than him. what is more important to advertisers a lot of the time is marketability. cpk is really trustworthy, standup guy who never bad mouths the bands he works for. it doesn't matter how many less viewers he is getting.
