@moerusai is the genius vidder/editor behind this. Although I helped on storyboarding and scene hunting, this is her masterwork. She set out to create an unforgettable edit that would become a hallmark of the KinnPorsche fandom, and I think she accomplished that. And she did it with 200+ cuts in 3 minutes, holy craaaap.

I think I can speak for both Mo and myself when I say that we've been touched in the past year by everyone who has watched, commented, liked, and shared this edit. 🙏Thank you.🙏

When I first started watching KinnPorsche The Series, I had no idea it was inspired by Goncharov (1973).

But it all makes so much more sense now. Goncharov is so well known for its themes of trust and betrayal, the mafia love story... and of course the gay subtext. In many ways, Goncharov was way ahead of its time.

KinnPorsche is a mafia love story, but in this story, the characters don't have to hide their sexuality.

It makes me even more emotional about the music video that @moerusai and I worked so hard on!

Goncharov walked so KinnPorsche could run. 😭

Introducing IMM

I'd like to introduce you to someone near and dear to my heart. Meet Philippe the Philosophical Flamingo:

Yes, we now have a logo (with credit to @antique-forvalaka for design). Look, when two members of the core group are actual marketers, this kind of thing happens.

The originators of IMM:

I'm Nemi. Hi. I picked up @antique-forvalaka (Siv) and then @fractured-ice (Soph) and we bonded over a shared love of Word of Honor, establishing Hanwenzhou Hell. Then we three came to KinnPorsche, and I swiftly adopted @moerusai, genius giffer.

Together, we formed IMM.

We have a common goal:

Our objective is to have a shit-ton of fun in fandom while sharing meta analysis, fanfic, and other creative works.

A few things to know about IMM:

We support each other in creative efforts, inspire each other, and geek out together.

IMM is not locked into any one fandom.

IMM does not take kindly to uncredited reposting.

IMM will shamelessly turn into an amoeba and absorb awesome meta-makers. (For instance, @chaoselmo and @minisculecosmos...oh, and @biochemjess, I haven't approached you yet, but don't think I haven't noticed your killer product placement breakdowns. Expect me to show up in your inbox.)

Also, IMM refers to @iffervescent as senpai, and we have a standing rule to always tell each other as soon as @laughsalot3412 updates Where Power Resides.

We're hitting the KinnPorsche fandom hard at the moment and probably will be doing so for quite a while.

Y'all gotta stop making me emotional. That being said, I want to add to this and express my gratitude.

First, for all the friends I've made through this deranged and beautiful show- I'm immensely grateful for @luckydragon10 -for her tireless enthusiasm and her utter brilliance, for @lutawolf and her immovable yet gentle force-of-nature love, for @moerusai and the joy and beauty they spread, for @iffervescent and her everything, for @suga4mycoffee my wonder twin, for @thedumbwritersblog and her adorable brattiness. Truly, I've been blessed (yeah, I'm having An Emotion. And what)

Second, for how KinnPorsche got me involved in an entire ecosystem of genius, of people with such insanely cool knowledge, personalities and writing styles. And also!! For the first time, I felt like my ideas and analyses of a show were good/relevant enough to post an actual meta series (which is not ending quite yet, my loves). That's something that has changed me for the better, no matter how small and gradual the shift was.

And finally, thank you, KinnPorsche, for being unapologetically queer. For being messy and lovable and funny and dark and so, so real. Thank you for giving us the soft Mafia boss who was a hurt young man now finally finding love and stillness, for the brattiest prettiest and most incompetent bodyguard who was a broken little boy with so much love to give, for Tankhun (nuff said) and Arm and Pol. Thank you for Pete and showing us how even the best of us can suffer, but it is never a forever sort of a deal. Thank you for showing us that abuse can twist and chip away at a person, but they can grow and get better given the right motivation. Thank you for Big and his selfless, limitless love. Thank you for Porchay's resilience and his sunshine smiles. Just. Thank You.

I’m gonna be sappy for a minute, as I sit here in my little quarantine room waiting for the finale, to just say thanks. To the cast and crew of Kinnporsche for making this brilliant, insane fever dream of a show. But also to everyone on here for making the whole experience so goddamn fun. I’ve had such a blast for the past three months getting to know people, devouring shitposting and stunning edits and divinely inspired meta, reading/writing fic, and of course yelling about tiddies. You’re all so funny and talented and smart, and I feel so lucky to have been here to witness all of the chaos unfold live as the show aired.

Basically I just really love y’all, so thank you for being here and turning Kinnporsche from a show into a community and an experience I’ll never forget. 💖
