Wat een verveling. Het was zaterdagmiddag en ik had niks te doen. Ik pakte mijn mobieltje om te kijken of ik een whatsappje had gekregen. Niks. Met een zucht legde ik mijn mobiel weer op mijn bed. Wat een saai leven op deze manier. Oh sorry waar zijn mijn manieren? Mijn naam is Maria Louisa, ja wat zou ik over mezelf vertellen? Ik ben 19 en ik volg momenteel een HBO studie. "Maria!" Hoorde ik mijn moeder roepen. "Heb je zin om te gaan shoppen?" Had ik daar zin in? Nou vooruit. "Ik kom eraan!" riep ik terug. Ik pakte mijn telefoon en mijn tas en liep naar beneden.

"Wow, ben nu wel moe van al dat shoppen hoor" zei ik en liet me op de bank ploffen. Mijn vader kwam de kamer ingelopen. "Hebben jullie weer geld uit gegeven?" vroeg hij. Ja dat hebben we zeker, zei ik in mezelf. "Daar hebben wij het geld ook voor" antwoordde mijn moeder. Ik moest lachen om haar antwoord. Ik had alles wat ik kon wensen. Veel geld, veel vrienden, een gezonde familie. Ik had alleen geen liefde in mijn leven, al zou ik dat wel graag willen.
