It’s a little offensive as somebody raised in and who escaped from a borderline cult that if you said “good for her” at the end of Modsommar you’re “susceptible to cult brainwashing” like all those dudes who died were wankers they were typical horror movie fodder characters there was nothing sympathetic about them they were written to die from their conception I was not sad to see anybody go and was like “good for her” when she was watching her cheating unsupportive man burn in that little hut covered in flowers

Just finished Hereditary, I liked it alot however I don't really know why people kept saying it was super scary, shocking yeah, but not exactly scary lol

what I do like about it is how realistic it feels, the acting was really good especially the moms character, cuz while the movie is about paranormal stuff it dosnt feel over the top fake

I will also say that the ending was pretty cool

All in all I think I like Midsommar more than I like Hereditary. While both are very strange (wich is how I like my movies lol) Midsommar seemed to capture me more
