Inkling: he’s an old man he drives in a beat up little tiny car. Super slow. Surprisingly good at navigation though. Follows all the rules to a T

Barnacles: For the most part he’s a chill driver and very good at it. He follows the rules but not to an obnoxious degree and isn’t to slow or fast. However he road rages. Like not in person because he’s not mean but he’ll yell from where he’s sitting. Then he’ll catch himself and feel really bad about it cause he’s a sweet heart. He mostly just gets frustrated with reckless drivers cause they might hurt other people. Now if Kwazii is the reckless driver, just picture the exasperated parent face. He likes big cars like trucks.

Kwazii: He’s a reckless driver. He can be careful when he wants to be but he never wants to be. He speeds he runs through readlights (not intentionally he just doesn’t notice them) but he’s never hit another person or caused other people to crash. He crashes himself constantly though. He would do drag racing if it wasn’t illegal but sense it is he wouldn’t dare. He likes sports cars particularly orange ones however with the amount of crashes he gets into he just has a banged up old used car the Tweak modifies for him.

Peso: peso is an overly carious driver always worried about causing an accident. Not for his well being but others well being. However if he’s driving an ambulance you better get out of the way he’s coming through and you better believe it! He likes little bitty cars

Dashi: she’s a decent driver speeds occasionally but she doesn’t like driving very much so will always opt for passenger seat so she can look at the scenery. She doesn’t really care the type of car but she likes ones with funky colors and she likes to decorate them.

Tweak: Tweak is a comfortable driver it’s second nature to her she can drive any type of car including stick shift. If there’s a problem she’ll know how to fix it immediately too. She drives a beat up pick up truck primarily but she has lots of vehicles of all types

Shellington: He’s a mini Van guy, but HE CAN NOT DRIVE! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT LET THIS MAN DRIVE! HE DOES NOT HAVE A LICENSE!

I was at the discount book store today and I found a pack of Mantic Games terrain for the Walking Dead wargame for $20. I've been looking for a miniature pickup truck for a project I'm working on, so I grabbed it. I actually really like what I got so here's a mini review.

The box comes with 2 trucks, 2 cars, 6 barricades, and 8 piles of junk/objectives (2 of each sculpt). The cars and trucks are completely hollow with no underside, so they're light models, easy to store, and easy to modify if you need to convert and repurpose them for any reason like I plan to do.

The scale of the terrain looks good for any 28mm/Heroic Scale Wargame. It should be perfect for any Modern, Post-Apocalyptic, or Sci-fi wargame. I tested the scale with a pair of old Space Marines but they also look really good next to this Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout Wasteland Warfare.

Anyway, it looks like this box runs for $30-60. If you're looking for scatter terrain and can find it at a lower price point, I think this is a great set to grab.

I just remembered all my older AUs. I haven't talked about them. Because well. They're not TSAMS. They're just standard security breach DCA. I've already gone on little tirades about these guys. after the fire story were the dca, Freddy, DJ, foxy and Bonnie are moved to a big werehouse (owned by a y/n) is modified into a mini Plex (honestly more like a side road arcade that's bigger). And the dca has to relearn how to function with the band.

Rusty wheels- ask focused (lots of lore though)

a apocalypse au were a nanite Afton virus infects the world. It's cyberpunk with a rustic feel. Y/N has a big truck sized motorcycle thing and finds sun n moon. And drags them in their attempts of adventure and survival.

Cryptid eater- story / ask focus.

a Sun and Moon are Hunters story but you are a creature that eats vampires and werewolves and things like such. And the story takes place with you trying to convince them that you're on their side.

Warehouse Daycare- ask focused

a version of the warehouse AU where it's only sun n moon. The werehouse is smaller and they grow a closer relationship with y/n and a emotional support cat.

suns a tired Pirate. moons a silly siren. Eclipse is an angry sea captain. Popped in my head. want to see were it leads.

Creature dca- I made it for fun.

a random look for sun n moon. Has flip floped between being and basic non animatronic form to fey creatures that deal with changelings and guardian God entities.

Star foolery- a word for silly situations with no lore ties.

I was wondering if there's explanation given to some of the more abnormal alt modes, like how does Soundwave get so small and what let's blaster get so big? Also is having multiple alt modes a very unique thing I see that Megatron eventually become a tank gunna miss someone having to hold hi I think that's so funny for his character. Also combining like the constructicons that must have some interesting biology involved.

I think I would be a bit disappointed if a species called "Transformers" was less versatile!

Transformers as a franchise has pretty obviously never cared about scale at all. A semi truck and a walther p-38 gun standing shoulder to shoulder? No problem! This does, however, mean that every now and then they've had to give an in-universe explanation for how exactly those robots manage to do that. The answer they came up with were "mass conversion," "parts compression," "molecular compression," and "mass displacement."

"Mass conversion" stated that when a Transformer transformed, they altered not just their physical structure but their molecular make-up as well, literally tearing themselves apart and putting themselves back together on the atomic level in order to change shape.

"Parts compression" stated that Transformers who had larger alt-modes than robot modes simply possessed many layers of dense armor in robot mode, which slid out in alt-mode to form a less dense vehicle. Fandom refers to this as the "origami" method.

"Molecular compression" is pretty much what it says on the tin: sometimes, a Transformer can reduce the space between their molecules, ant man style, and fit the same amount of mass into a smaller volume.

"Mass displacement" is the most fun explanation. Basically, Transformers are able to store part of their mass somewhere called "subspace," which is essentially hammerspace rationalized as the extra-dimensional buffer space between dimensions. When a Transformers transforms, they either shunt part of their mass into subspace, or draw the waiting reserves of mass from it. This concept actually originated as a fanon explanation for how Transformers were able to change size before any official explanation was ever given; it was later canonized in IDW2005.

Interestingly, Transformers capable of changing size between modes are often able to sort of "hack" their own biology and shrink or grow in robot mode as well.

Combination is another matter. Fusion is a long-standing trope in anime, and Transformers is half anime. Given their ability to take on different forms and their alien biology, it's only natural that Transformers would showcase this ability as well.

There's many different types of combination. There's the most well-known, which is 4-5 different guys combining to form one huge guy, but then there's also mini-con powerlinxing, two-person combination, and even some forms of combination that involve bonding with a human or alien partner.

Unless you're a min-con, not every Transformer can combine. A Transformer must either be designed from birth to combine, or be physically modified to do so. Theoretically anyone could undergo such a modification, but combining isn't just physical: combiners merge minds and personalities as well as bodies, and if they're not in harmony, the combined form will fall apart. To make matters worse, combined robot modes are often significantly less bright than their individual components. A combined robot might either pursue their goals with single-minded obsession or act on raw kaiju animal instinct. This makes them difficult to control and often a recipe for disaster.

Of course, this isn't always the case. Sometimes combining is as easy as pie and there's a new combiner team every freaking episode. Sometimes combination is something mystical, requiring special macguffins magic artifacts to be able to do. As with most things, it varies.

These last couple of weeks have been hard. Really hard. It feels like all of the stresses have boiled into one breaking point.

Having my kids ripped away half the time without our consent and we just have to be okay with it. School deadlines with 3 classes passed, 6 papers written and 1 massive test in the books over a two week period. Being allowed to feel loss and to celebrate life and memories for the first time in 18 years…. It’s overwhelming. So many tears held back these past couple weeks.

On Tuesday, every hour I relived what I was doing that day. From breakfast a Denny’s that I really didn’t want to go to, but did for him. To getting lost in the cactus field off the power line road on the 4 wheeler that we had just bought together (he just laughed as I panicked). To getting the phone call that saved my life. The boom. To watching his life fade. Fire. To talking to the police and the neighbors cleaning my face. To the longest drive to the hospital. Sitting for hours. To seeing him one last time. To the longest drive home without him… every time I looked at the clock, I relived it. Every second. When I woke up that morning 18 years ago, I never dreamed it would be the last time I got flashed that smile or stupid look he always gave me. I never dreamed that would be our last crazy adventure. Why 18 years later was Tuesday so hard? I couldn’t bring myself to say anything on Tuesday, but I miss you Jimmy. I wish you could meet our kiddo that drives me crazy in the best way daily, just like you did. I wish he could hear your laugh and you could teach him all about mini trucks. I wish you were out there “modifying” his car with him. I wish you were still here. I’ll never understand how this world works and why some are left to cause so much pain and others are taken long before they should be. I don’t get it.

Rodimus' Second in Command. He's abnormally large, even for a truck: very few people are Trion's size and I'm fairly certain this one is. Despite that, he's a pretty gentle, nervous fellow. He's the only one of us newcomers that can safely interact with humans.

That said, his punishments tend to be a bit more severe than Rodimus'. Days spent in the brig are common for even just graffiti: and he's not especially particular about who goes in there, if Rodimus getting sent in counts for anything.

I heard that's why he's SIC, actually. He's a just, lawful guy, unbiased by status or role. That's what you get from a House of lawmakers and lawyers, I guess.

Secrets, Lies, and Other Stuff:

Born Minimus Ambus, and immediately changed to Magnus Ambus due to his exceptionally unusual size, later-called Ultra Magnus is a minicon hailing from Luna 1. He's a ship's minicon, designed to suppliment colony programs and provide power to cities.

When he was sent off-moon by his elder brother, Dominus Ambus, to help advocate for minicon rights (and keep from trampling buildings in the mini-sized cities), his host renamed him and gave him a new shape. Turbofoxes are not usually lawyers, after all!

Being of House Tyrest gives one quite a bit of power and sway in Cybertronian culture. But Magnus rarely uses it or even refers to his supposed heritage, with his only remaining icons being that of his collar pin and modified gavel.

Design Notes:

Design based off IDW1 and a car carrier. Not sure what the shoulder paldrons become in car mode for most Magnuses, so placed the 'support' structure for the car carrier there. These also look a little like wing structures, adding to the Tyrest theme.

He used to be a turbofox. A turbofox large enough for Rodimus to ride.

His Gavel, used in both battle and court, was a gift from his host. Magnus scratched off part of the court-blessing and rarely acknowledges it.

He wears very thick glasses. Rodimus does not realize these are glasses until later in the series, due to Magnus never taking them off and preferring to clean them by rubbing his entire face with a rag.
