Truthfully, she is thankful the others don't complain this big. As it is, she's just doing her job, without ignoring boundaries.

So I have been wanting to draw Arlecchino lately and at the same time stumbled upon XP-pen competition thingy of making a modern job outfit for one or few of genshing characters!

After a long consideration, conversation with friends and some sketching I ended up going with a Cigar Bar owner Arlecchino! (And the bar name is "House of The Hearth" of course...)

Why specifically this job?

- Well she is still someone in power, has her own domain, she is someone that isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and handle stuff herself. This being a cigar bar of high status Arlecchino is in contact with many powerful people. Her waiters and helpers are of course her "children" . And the cigar aspect of the smoke and fire reminiscing of her pyro vision.

The outfit design choices?

- Although a modern setting the job requires of classical attire to fit the mood. Small details of the outfit are taken from the original one to keep it to her true character. The simple but comfortable and mobile outfit helps her to stay on her feet all day if needed, leaving her movements unrestrained. Tied up hair in a bun to keep the consistent look of put together and professional

Teyvat high, the most prestigious high school in teyvat, located between liyue and sumeru, have students all over teyvat flocking just to take the exam. They have sister schools in every nation but liyue and sumeru with limitless programs and opportunities so why would students pick the main campus? Many reasons, from the next level teachers to the connections with the children of teyvat's leaders and innovators. With connections to UT (University of Teyvat), the best university in teyvat, every student in Teyvat high (tvt high) is guranteed to be accepted immedieatly.

Entrance exams are held every year for grade 6s (last year of primary) so those accepted may start year 7 (first year of hs/ms) in the esteemed school. Those with the highest scores are recommended to live on the main campus, the only campus with dorms and students may choose to stay or leave for their home country over the holidays. Figure Skater Kaeya

if Kaeya lived in the modern world, i believe he would be a formidable figure skater. my thought process behind this was how from the very beginning, i felt he had a sort of dancer flair to him, he moves and fights with such grace. this is even reflected in one of his ability names - Glacial Waltz. and obv coupled w him being cryo, figure skating seemed like a very natural choice.

the most challenging part for me this time was choosing a pose, none of the ones from the studies and my extensive googling screamed "yes, this is it!" to me until i found a figurine of Yuri Plisetsky from Yuri!!! on ICE, it gave me just the right vibe. tho i had to bend the back leg a bit to fit it on the page.

He majors in Business Management

Spends every weekend helping Kaeya throw the campuses best parties, but always skips out on clean up

Somehow he manages to have a high B average in everything except the higher maths. He begs Diluc for help in any higher math class he has to take.

Is a not-so-closet member of the campus LARP and D&D clubs

Also majors in Business management sees Tartaglia in all his classes and hates it

He’s the dorm babysitter provider of booze and designated driver during the parties Kaeya and Tartaglia throw. he some how ends up doing most of the clean up. Albedo helps by providing experimental cleaners that only sometimes work

Straight A’s across the board and tutors on the side. Has saved Tartaglia’s academic life more times than either of them can count

Part of the campus disciplinary committee and occasionally DMs for the local D&D club

Somehow this man throws the sickest parties every weekend, is never seen doing homework or studying, and still makes straight A’s

When Diluc is away he helps Tartaglia with whatever homework he can

Kaeya was the one who introduced Tartaglia to LARP and suggested starting a D&D club in their dorm

Bio-chemistry major, duh

Member of the art club and source of their dorms D&D minis

Is rarely at the dorm, preferring to hang out in the art room or the science labs

Ridiculously high grades, but unlike Kaeya no one really questions why.

Every now and then he can be seen helping poor freshman with their labs, but usually doesn’t help with the tutoring sessions in the dorm

The one time he joined one of Kaeya's parties he got sick, passed out, and since then has avoided them like the plague. He does help out by researching and providing cleaners and hang over cures

Despite this he’s a regular participant in D&D nights.

as much as i love genshin interactions, lately i've been craving writing aether in other universes/fandoms or maybe exploring more about his past pre-teyvat. i have so many ideas for him, and i'd love to explore the process of him slowly developing a heart and a mind of his own (instead of just being an order-keeper that travels through worlds guided by the stars). just!!! the process of him relating to mortals and falling in love with mortality yknow! itd be pretty neat 🥺

Teyvat thousands of years into the future, you go to the Liyue’s museum of history and you find yourself with a dashing guide, his voice easily spins the tales of every priceless artifact as if they are an old friend of his. You arrive at the center piece of the museum, a statue of Rex Lapis. You gaze upon the statue and feel the wonder and awe from the by gone god. In your peripheral you gaze at the side profile of the guide and then do a double take, looking at him then the guide. He notices you are staring, gives you a smile along with a wink.

The Modern (other) AU takes place in a regular modern world. Ashe is not a catgirl in this verse, and is instead a regular human. I use civilian Ichigo Momomiya as a face claim for her in this verse.

Xiao wakes up alone. There's a draft in the room, and there sounds to be several people bustling about.

It takes a moment for him to wake enough to process his surroundings. Or more accurately, realize exactly how much he does not recognize them at all. For a moment, he's certain it's a dream. It's the only reasonable explanation, after all.

But despite this certainty, and this clarity, he can't wake up.

"Venti..?" Xiao calls out, a touch hesitant. A touch tentative. It feels ridiculous, as if calling for his fiance in his dream is going to fix anything. But if anything, maybe calling out will translate to calling them in his sleep. And surely they'll be able to wake him.

Before he can yell their name out properly, desperately, the breeze in the room picks up into a wind. Moments later, his fiance stands in front of him.

Well, someone who certainly looks like them. Maybe if they were dressed up for a ren faire. Brains dream up the oddest things. Though if he's honest, he hopes he remembers their corset when he wakes up - it's certainly worth investing in outside of his dreams.

Still, the wave of relief upon seeing them has him throwing arms around their neck and pressing a sweet kiss to their lips.
