Recently, there has been new people in town. You'd passed by their house on your way out and come to know that four lived there. You assumed they were all brothers or relatives as one of the members of the house was a child. You would often see the said child greeting anyone who would pass by their lawn with a smile. You never really got the chance to talk to your new neighbors, until one fateful day.

It was a chilly Saturday morning. You were sipping on your favorite drink while you scrolled in your phone. A sudden knock on your door broke the silence in the background. You went to your window to check who it was and saw the new kid at your doorstep.

"Good morning!" when you opened the door, a bunch of wild flowers neatly tied together was thrown presented at your face. "I apologize if your gift took longer than the others. I kept wracking up what to give to you."

He smiles softly at you.

After recovering from the dramatic entrance, you were once again shocked at how deep his voice. You had initially thought that such a cute face would have a high pitch voice as a match. Maybe he wasn't actually a kid, but someone who's going through puberty. That's right.

"Thank you. This is a cute gift," you gently took the flowers from his hands. You smiled at your present, finding the gesture endearing. He must be a really sweet kid.

"Of course, I made yours extra special, but don't tell anyone!"

You chuckled, "Is that so? Thank you again..." you paused.

"Lilia. Lilia Vanrouge."

"Ah, well nice to meet you Lilia and thank you for the gift again. This would be a good addition to my house."

You would later come to know that he was, in fact not a kid when the first day of your class started.

What are your favorite Twisted Wonderland AUs?

Like every fandom, Twisted Wonderland has countless AUs. Among them, there are some that I really like.

The purpose of this post is to share my favorite AUs and hopefully get to know others through other people. Under no circumstances do I want to cause conflict or confusion.

To begin with, I really like universes where the protagonist of the story is a secondary character in the story who is trying not to get involved or live an everyday life.I found most of these stories on AO3, such as:

In this fic, a boy from our world goes to the body of a boy from Octavinelle who committed suicide. Now he tries to adapt to his new routine at a magic school, without attracting attention (he attracts a lot of attention).

In this one, the protagonist is reincarnated as a rabbit-beastman and grows up in a watch shop. Bunny's (the protagonist's nickname) goal is to create a way to return to his world.

As time goes by, he enters RSA, but is expelled and enrolls in NRC.

Here we are introduced to a boy who had a sister who was in love with an Otome game called Twisted Wonderland. One day, he wakes up as Raphael, a boy who picked on Yuu (the protagonist of the game, not the story).But something happens, he is able to see the level of love the character has for Yuu.

Another type of AU that I love are the universes that take place in the modern world, that is, ours. And Yuu gradually gets to know other characters.

Some examples of this AU are:

In this AU, Yuu is a wizard who can see demons and works with a charlatan medium (Fellow).

Little by little, Yuu meets countless demons who want to make a contract with him and take his soul.

This one, Yuu works in a shop in Donetsk and his customers are, well, different...

Yuu is gradually introduced to the magical world of magical girls (who are actually the boys of TWST), apparently people can't see certain things around them, but Yuu discovers that he is an exception.

And this draws a lot of attention.

Here is a world of heroes and villains, Yuu is a student who adopted a cat/tanuki monster who wants to be the greatest villain of all.

Yuu's city is divided into factions, and sometimes he works at Mr. S's shop which is located in a neutral zone.

Little by little, Yuu and Grim find themselves indirectly meeting and forming bonds with people they shouldn't.

The next AU is a crossover created by two people, this AU takes place after everyone graduates from NRC, Yuu is studying at a History college and his friends got their own jobs.

But there's more to it than meets the eye, TWST x SAW Au.

As I said before, the AU was created by two people. While @kimium shows Yuu's view of their friends and everyday life at History college, @m34gs shows the characters planning murders and their past where they were trapped in someone's plan.

Next up is the Seven Great AU by @amarizuu , in this universe, Yuu can talk to the 7 Greats in his head.

This makes interactions with other characters very interesting, since Yuu listens to them 24 hours a day. They give opinions and discuss in Yuu's head.

Yuu went through a lot before going to NRC, being manipulated and treated like a weapon, at least now he can be treated like a normal teenager (as much as possible, since we're talking about NRC students).

Another AU that I love a lot is Deity AU or God AU, on Tumblr it was created by @ceruleancattail and on AO3 you can find the series of "twisted_wonderland_shenanigans" with this link:

I really like this AU, to summarize, the characters of TWST are gods that interact with the human world or a specific human.

Now Android AU, this AU is by @ceruleancattail .Yuu is a mechanic who has always loved taking things apart and putting them back together. His curiosity about how things work has made him a great professional.

In the AU, Yuu fixes robots (who would be the characters) and treats them like any other person, not just as machines.

This makes the androids not want to go back to their owners who treat them like machines and stay with Yuu forever.

There is a touch of Yandere in the stories, but nothing too strong or explicit.

The stories in the AU vary a lot, but they are all really cool.

A/N: I don’t see black reader fics for twst like I do the other fandoms I’m in, so I came to serve myself <3

Warnings: Black! reader(obv), fem! reader. Reader wears acrylics, Romantic relationship, Implied modern au, but not specified. Pretty short but this was an impulse write.

Vil never paid much attention to romantic relationships—or even pursuing them, he was far to busy to do so. His career came first after all, a relationship would only get in the way.

Or at least that’s what he thought before meeting you.

First, you had caught his attention with a sweet and expensive smelling perfume, immediately dragging his eyes from his manager and towards you. Usually, he could tell what products another was wearing just based off of smell alone— yet he couldn’t pinpoint what you where wearing, only that it smelled sweet, like candy.

Then, you had the audacity to look as good as you smelled, a unique and eye catching hair style, outfit that hugged your curves perfectly, but not to much, and that only you could pull off. Hell, even your skin held a shimmer in the light, and he wouldn’t have noticed his staring if it weren’t for your eyes meeting his.

Vil couldn’t do anything but give a small smile, turning his attention back to his manager that was still going on and on about a role he’d turn down anyway. It was obvious that you put a lot of effort into your appearance, you where beautiful and you knew it. He knew that if Rook was here, he would never stop gushing over your beauty, rightfully so.

When you actually started talking and hanging out, nobody suspected that he’d fall for you—and you didn’t either. Yet here he was, paying for your nail appointments, your hair, clothes, makeup, doing your makeup, anything that helped maintain your beauty. You had this pretty ass man wrapped around your finger, He even gave you his personalized skincare products, including you in his routine— and was surprised when you turned around and had HIM try YOUR routine.

And he let you. He let you lay him down on your soft bed, watching some show you had put on as background noise but it had started getting good. He let you pull his hair back with a fuzzy soft hairband, and let you smear the cocoa butter on his cheeks before rubbing it into his skin in circular motions.

When you where done with the routine, his skin was not only soft and moisturized (when is it not), but smelled good as well.

Eventually, he noticed his bedtime approaching, getting comfortable in the sheets and adjusting the blanket, but seeing you scrunch your nose at him in a disapproving manner had made him think twice. Did he forget something? Cross a boundary?

“Is something bothering you?” Vil asked, blinking up at you from where he laid as you got up and walked to the other side of the room. It had amused him when you came back and wordlessly slipped a bonnet on his head, tucking the loose strands of hair in with your new acrylic nails and humming with contentment.

“Ah, I see. Thank you.”

“You can keep it, I have several.” You said, putting one on your own head and turning the light off, going to bed with a satisfied smile beside him. He wondered how he didn’t think of wearing a bonnet to bed himself, the satin fabric soft against his forehead.

“Goodnight, Love.”

“G’night, love you too.”

So maybe, pursuing someone wasn’t so pestering after all. His career would live.

very generic, but my main goal is writing more and more consistently. i really want to establish some kind of routine that i can stick to, so it becomes more of a habit.

at the moment i still have to kind of force myself to do my hobby (dumb as it sounds) bc it’s really intimidating for some nonsensical reason, which makes the very idea to start something super exhausting ㅠㅠ

i also really want to work on and complete one of my longer/bigger projects!! there are a lot of cool ideas in my drafts (if i may say so myself) but they need the long format to shine + it’s always been a goal of mine to write a series <3

🫘 Spill the beans. What's a new project you're doing this year?

as i’ve already mentioned in a tag here and there, i’ve found the motivation to revisit a multi-chapter angst idea from last year. i’m currently still reworking the structure and pacing of the notes i made at the time but the core idea is still the same :>

i haven’t written any actual chapter yet, so i can’t show any snippets but i can spoiler some of the main themes that inspired it!! the one that’s really prominent for me atm is the motif that you cannot change your fate and if you try to outrun it, fate will only double down on it~

other projects would include the aventurine fic i’ve told you about, another idea for mermay, the twst pokémon au, my modern au and at least one of the event ideas i wanted to host ^^

i’m sooo excited to write the last chapter of every draft jshsh (big fan of finishing projects, i should do it more often /j); no but fr, i obviously like writing the culmination of all my plotting and scheming as well as the resolution, even if it also puts the most pressure on me to do it well!!

as for things i can share, i’ve talked before about a fic for barbarian! bakugo; it was supposed to be a one-shot and now i somehow ended up with a draft for a 5 chapter fic (how does this always happen?). the first draft for chapter one has actually been done since october but i wasn’t happy with how it came out at the time, so i’ve had zero motivation to edit and/or proofread it ^^;

i really like the prompt/au though, so i would like to finish it one day; here’s a snippet :]

The Fair Folk and the Barbarians of the Dragonrider Clan have never had much common ground, even back in the day when they were still peaceful neighbours. While the events that caused it have been lost to history, the bad blood which has run between the two fronts ever since was undeniable, leading to stubborn isolation on both sides as an ideal breeding ground for nasty rumours.

In case of the fae, who had concealed their presence in the thick forest to the west of the barbarian’s territory, rumours eventually became myths and their very existence was called into question, often being dismissed as a cautionary tale for reckless children.

Bakugo Katsuki, next in line for the position of clan leader, had been one such rash child but even from a young age on, he never seemed to believe in the stories the elders of his tribe would tell. And even if they were true, who would he be to lose to some fragile little pollen ball?

So when the now young adult stepped into a stone circle on a hunt deep in the forest, he thought nothing of it.

You, however, were keenly aware of the people that lived outside the border of your home. So when one of them waltzed into your world at the most opportune moment, who would you be to let this chance pass you by? Especially when you recognised the man for who he was.

It's always been super confusing to me when twst fics are tagged as "modern au". Like it is modern??? They have cellphones and Internet and cars and even more advanced technology than our world due to magic? Fym "au"?

Heyyo saw your au on twst and sky cotl. Regarding skyYuu being hurt by rain, if your talking about the rain in Hidden Forest? Cuz the rain in the forest was cuz it was toxic.

Also, you can swim and dive in sky. Your sky Kid is going to dependent on air bubbles, plus swimming much faster will drain some light. Opening, clams big or small can regain light, also some plants and fish can help sky Kid regain light. This is in an area on the west side of the lobby area of the Golden Wasteland (b4 going schwoop by the wind/tornado). There's a boat there, and you'll be able to visit the area. There are some Krill in the area, and

There is a big ass Krill thingy and it almost ate the sky Kid.

Fair point, I suppose I just really like the idea of the sky kids having a vulnerability that twst characters may see as odd/be unable to predict until they see it pan out.

And besides! There are little answers to these plot holes - perhaps the rain in TWST has magical properties of some sort where it acts like the forest rain does in Sky - only affecting the sky kids. It'd also add a nifty little thing where Kalim's UM is very very scary for the lil guys!

Or! Perhaps pollution in rainwater could be an issue - although such a thing works better in urban environments, I suppose. Sage Island doesn't seem as polluted as the modern world, after all...

(Besides, I can fudge the details a little bit for the sake of having fun with an AU/Fic (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠))

And yes, I'm well aware of the treasure reef! It'll be mentioned when I get to chapter three lol - the gang is gonna have to stop these kids from trying to crack open live clams (Floyd just accepts the free snacks tho haha)

The giant krills (I've seen them be called leviathans but don't take my word for it lol) scared me senseless the first time I went through that quest - it looked very beautiful in the PlayStation trailer though!

Anyway, this is all just my take on the potential for a crossover - you're free to have your own ideas/thoughts! It's fun to see different perspectives on an idea!

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

Oooo there are too many!!! To name specific instances, Riddle's relationship with the reader in DRU always tugs on my heart. He worries so much for her and it's obvious he cares immensely. The same goes for Azul and Cater. All of these people care for Reader, but Reader doesn't care enough for herself. T_T additionally, I like when characters have a chemistry that is so good that they can just share a look and instantly connect and be on the same wavelength as the other. Like Jade and Reader in the upcoming fic. They're both aware that they're using the other for their own benefit, but that doesn't stop them from being friends. And they understand each other (to some degree) because they're both freaks. They play off of one another so incredibly well. I love it. >v<

Also, the trope of "what could have been had [xxx] not happened" always makes me weak. Sea Glass (and its sequel Moonbroch) delve into this trope a lot, especially with Reader's relationship with the man they murdered. At first you may hate him for what he did, but then the fic reveals more human facets to him and suddenly he seems so much better than the trio. It hurts even more when you note the genuine connection he had with the reader before it was compromised.

I also like the interactions Scaramouche and Reader have in another upcoming modern au fic. He's like a grumpy, hissing cat who slowly but surely learns to accept and open up to someone. The entire fic revolves around Scaramouche and his struggles with his humanity and emotions and trauma. He meets his very first friend in the last place he'd ever expect to make a friend. It puts me in my feels every time Scara realizes he's having fun talking to the reader and he quickly stifles that emotion because it's another reminder that he's human. >_< aaaa he just deserves to be loved forever.

And Bittersweet Secret!!!! Reader's relationship with Xiao is so tragic. To a very small degree, Xiao knows it's wrong to confine someone, but he can't let the reader go as they're the only good thing in his life. Without them, everything is dark and lonesome. And the reader is trying so hard to make Xiao happy and get him to smile while living with the fact that they will remain his captive forever. It's such a sad dynamic. :( they both deserve to be happy.

Just one person and it's my best friend. They've listened to my ramblings about various fic ideas before, and I'm always grateful when they exchange ideas with me despite not being into Genshin or twst. :D

🌞 Do you have a preferred time of day to write?

I like to write at night because that's usually when I'm most inspired and focused, but sometimes I'll write in the afternoon if I'm able to.

🤯 What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?

This may not be a genre, per se, but research papers. Truly the bane of my existence. >:( it's not that I struggle to write them; I just don't enjoy writing them. ;;;;

⌛ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

It depends! I wrote Mother in just two hours because I was so inspired after listening to haikara. Conversely, it took nine entire months to write Azul thought 4, whereas it only took a few days to write Azul thought 2. >_< it might just be a matter of how inspired I am, how determined I am to finish a fic, how much free time I'm afforded to write, and also how complex the plot is. Sometimes it takes longer to write fics with complex plots or scenes.

--hehe I have book on that. Like, I literally wrote them a book (10 chapters I think) but that was all i got planned out. I'll send it to you, so you'll know how badass she is usually (but yes she is wet cat)

Like they both want to achieve the same goal, but through different means?"

--OMG YOU MENTIONED THE WAR. Like this is so accurate, except Crystal deludes herself and hides the "i don't wanna kill Phillipines" deep in her heart.

-Honestly, same. We need more of ph. (I wrote a fic completely in his perspective, but it's in a modern au/no-war au)

Wait so how does each side of the war operate differently, like in terms of world building?

-I think I explained this in Tsutsi's reblog but basically only the Dark Red (currently Crystal) and the LIght Blue (Phillipines) battle to the death. The in-universe explanation for this is "because it's always been that way" and the secret "the 54th generation of LIght Blue and Dark Red decided not to involve their citizens after too many of them died", but like the IRL explanation is that little me disliked war immensely (I think it's stupid), and I wanted them to be at war without the actual war/without side characters dying (i feel sad).

--Also, the war is like hereditary. Along with the powers. Crystal has the Dark Red sword, which is summonable through thinking, and could cut anything. She also has like a stomach that can eat any poison and not die (which is probably why her cooking is so bad).

--Phillipines could summon the Light Blue Shield, which is impenetrable and could be any size he desires (up to his whole city, I think) + can turn transparent and translucent. Also, he has regeneration basically and could totes be revived from being stabbed in the heart (Crystal tried). It's a pretty slow process, but Aqua makes it happen in a matter of minutes. This is because the Light Blue won more battles than the Dark Red these past 10 generations or something. Bad side to it though is that Phillipines can't reach old age (dies at 60 or smth)

--Also, they're both the 100th generation of the Light Blue and Dark Red born, and the 99th in the endless war.

--Also, as you can tell, I've had this story for YEARS now. (I wrote 8, but it could be earlier than that)

"BUT OMG I JUST REALIZED CRYSTAL IS DARK RED, THE COLOR OF BLOOD, BUT SHE DOESN’t WANT BLOODSHED. IS IT LIKE- She and Phillipine are two people on the wrong side of the war? This is totally speculation, but maybe Phillipine is more anchored to ‘end the war no matter the cost or casualities’ and Crystal is like ‘end the war without bloodshed’."

--the first wrong one you got!! Like, i'm impressed by how accurate you are throughout this post, and was kinda suspecting mind-reading, but at least this proves otherwise

--It's actually the other way around!! Phillipines is the one that doesn't want bloodshed. He sees that Crystal is a kind-hearted soul to everyone but him (since she has to kill him), and is trying to, you know, not kill her. Honestly, Ph is so OP!! His power basically means that he can't be killed, and since he's been training in swordsmanship for a while now, he could totally land a fatal blow on Crystal. However, he doesn't, because he loves her he knows she's a good person. He tries to talk to her and convince her to make a truce, but Crystal's motto (when it comes to Ph, at least) is stab now, talk later. But I think it's working, and she is slowly seeing his side of the story. (And then they kith)

--To be able to kill Phillipines, Crystal deludes herself into thinking Phillipines is the villain, a tyrant who makes everyone's lives worse. This could not be farther from the truth (Ph cares about his country so much that sometimes he forgets to eat/sleep cause he's overworking himself), but Phillipines's soulless eyes makes him easy to dehumanize. Crystal is usually a very good girl, she's the sweetest sweetheart in the land, but her country demands that she kill some random guy. And she can't let her country down, can she? (toxic counselors/advisors)

"Also, are there any character flaws that affect her throughout the story? "

--A lot. Like running from her problems/the truth cause it makes it harder for her. Also, that girl has no sense of boundaries. (Aqua too!)

Crystal looked at the little girl on the screen. She was so young. How could such a sweet little thing be the reason for all of Crystal's suffering. She remembered the nights where it was painful to even look at her hands, with the blood of the innocent (Phillipines) tainting them, and her heart ached. Now she learns that all of the killing and the bloodshed and the endless war was meaningless, crafted for entertainment, crafted by a little girl.

While Crystal was busy staring at the screen, Phillipines's full attention was on Crystal. It was odd, seeing Crystal so quiet. He preferred Crystal being loud and bursting with energy in everything she does, like she usually was. The quietness disturbed him, it worried him deeply. At least when she was trying to cut his head off, her passion was still there, burning bright like a beautiful blaze.

The chilling silence was broken by Crystal. "She's...young", Crystal says. "Indeed", Aqua replied. "If I'm not mistaken, Author is currently eight years old." That was indeed quite young, quite so very young.

"Is she a good girl?", Crystal asked, her glossy eyes meeting Aqua's. "Yeah!", Aqua replied, "She's a very good girl, always helping her mama and papa. And very Godly too!" (Aqua was definitely not bribed to say that. He was definitely not given a limited edition Kalatsutsi poster, okay? No more questions.)

Crystal looked at Aqua, hesitant but hopeful. It was obvious now that she had been crying, with glass-like tears trailing down her pretty face. She looked at him, her eyes filled with desperation."Do you think", she began, "do you think she (the author) could change all of this? Do you think I could somehow bargain with her for an end to all these bloodshed?"

Aqua looked at Crystal pitifully. It was a very complicated matter, after all. Bargaining with the author is possible, but she hardly ever changes Canon. This universe could have a peaceful ending, but the multiverse at large will continue as usual, bloody war and all. Aqua struggled explaining all this to someone who just learned she was a character from a book. Just kidding. Aqua never struggles.

"Basically, yeah. It's possible. Pretty easy, even. However---Aqua was unable to finish his sentence because he was rudely interrupted by Crystal grabbing his arms and jumping up and down. "That's wonderful", Crystal says, giving Aqua a bone-crushing hug. "How do we do it? How do we bargain with her??"

Crystal fell down, flat on the floor, for Aqua had poofed out of her embrace. "As I was saying", Aqua said, reappering behind Kalatsutsi's back (for protection), "it'll only happen in this world. The other Crystals in the other worlds will still be forced to fight itty bitty Phillipines." Everyone in the room (?) looked confused. Aqua shrugged. "Multiverse stuff."

Crystal pondered on this. If she were to do this, only she would be happy, free from her chains. The other Crystals would still be forced to fight. But on the other hand, how could she pass up the opportunity to end it all. She'd do anything to escape from this burden placed upon her (as long as it didn't harm others). But doesn't this still harm others? Aren't her other selves hurting? Crystal's head was beginning to ache from all these complicated thoughts.

Seeing this, Phillipines spoke up. "If I understand correctly," he began, "you are saying there is a way for the Light Blue and Dark Red to live in peace?"

Aqua nods, stating that it has actually happened a couple of times."And no matter what we do, whether we choose peace in this world or not, it would not change the fate of these other Crystals?" Phillipines clarified this for one reason, to strike a peace between the Light Blue (him) and the Dark Red (Crystal). In all honesty, he was tired of constantly parrying Crystal's blows. But for some reason, Aqua interpreted this as Phillipines flirting, giving Phillipines a supportive thumbs up and wink.

"I would like to bargain with the author, for peace," said Crystal and Phillipines at the same time. Everyone looked at them, shocked. It was no surprise to Aqua though, because they were made to be (literally).

"I-if we were to stop this generational war, we should probably work together or something." Phillipines said, though his voice was squeakier than usual. Crystal looked at Phillipines's outstreached hand and, after a moment of hesitation, grasps it tightly. "Alright", she says, her voice filled with determination. Crystal looks at Aqua. "What does the author want?"

"Marriage." Said Aqua. The whole room froze.

Everyone suddenly felt a bit colder, many of them rubbing their arms awkwardly. "Marriage", someone repeats, from the back of the room, but it felt like more of a question. "Yep!" Aqua replied, "Between these two." Aqua pointed at Phillipines and Crystal. Phillipines refused to look Crystal in the eye.

Aqua continued, defending himself from Phillipines judgemental gaze. "It's true", whined Aqua. "There are many universes where you guys are arranged married to stop the war." This was an exaggeration, of course, for there was only one universe (or was it five) that this event happened. But Aqua is very dramatic.

Phillipines looked at Crystal. Did he feel a little guilty? Maybe. Was he semi-sure this is just another ruse of Aqua's to get him and Crystal together? Yes. But in the off-chance that what Aqua said was true, would he be willing to take that chance?

Crystal spoke, interrupting his train of thought. "Let's do it then. I'll do what I must." Then, she kissed him. She kissed Phillipines. On the lips. HOLY MACARONI, I JUST GOT KISSED--

Aqua appeared behind them, and pronounced them husband and wife. Crystal held her husband's(!?) hand gently, saying that she'll do her best. Phillipines is hardly processing what is happening. Kalatsutsi is also very confused (her sister just kissed her crush + best friend), but she's resigned to it, for peace. All in all, a very happily ever after.

The End.

"Hey! What about us!?" shouted Julian. He grabbed Aqua (who was just very nicely narrating the end of the story) and shaked him over and over again. "We're still stuck in this weird other-world place. Bring us home! You DO NOT get to end this story without bringing me back home to my castle and my wife-fiancee. HEY LISTEN TO ME!! I demand you, heathen--

And then the scene fades to black. Because it does. And the story ends. Screw you, Julian.

OMG SHE IS SO NICE AND CARING. She literally gives like… a Deuce maybe! BUT NOT STUPID. Like she’s dedicated, and she does what she needs to do in order to have a better life for her and her friends! Kinda like Gon I think!

I wonder what happens when she turns angry, or someone hurts her friends or something. Like can she easily compose herself or is she more prone to explode under extreme pressure like that? And i mean when it’s like, the event that happened was deliberate and intentional (not like this because the Author didn’t know her characters were ‘real’ so to say). How would she react?

OMG I JUST WENT BACK AND SAW THAT HER AND PHILLIPINE ARE RIVALS?!? Light Blue and Dark Red right?!?! I’m pretty sure, correct me if I’m wrong, none of them really want to fight each other. Like Phillipine doesn’t want to fight her, and Crystal just wishes to end the blooshed from the generational war, so is someone or something forcing them to fight? Perhaps they were two people on different sides of the war, and they were forced to be rivals, even though they both ultimately want the same thing? OMG SO LIKE A PARALLEL? Like they both want to achieve the same goal, but through different means? I don’t know much about Phillipine’s character yet, BUT I AM SO INTRIGUED LIKE ACTUALLY THO PLSLSLSLSLSLSL I’M ACTING LIKE A VICTORIAN MAN SEEING ANKLES FOR THE FIRST TIME. Wait so how does each side of the war operate differently, like in terms of world building? BUT OMG I JUST REALIZED CRYSTAL IS DARK RED, THE COLOR OF BLOOD, BUT SHE DOESN’t WANT BLOODSHED. IS IT LIKE- She and Phillipine are two people on the wrong side of the war? This is totally speculation, but maybe Phillipine is more anchored to ‘end the war no matter the cost or casualities’ and Crystal is like ‘end the war without bloodshed’.

Also, are there any character flaws that affect her throughout the story? OH YEAH AND ✨backstory stuff✨ I WANNA KNOW ALL THE DEETS

So Aqua hid behind her back for protection, that means they are either pretty close, or Kalatsutsi owes something to him that makes her subservient to him in a way. Either way, Kalatsutsi has to be PRETTY STRONG if an omnipresent overseer is hiding behind her for protection, so theres that

Obviously Kalatsutsi has some connection to Phillipine, and she also has a limited edition poster (this is either from the real world or from their world, ill come back to this). The oddity here (which is a good thing bc now I can theorize) Is that Kalatsutsi is from the Dark Red side with Crystal because they are sisters (unless they were separated at birth or just separated in general, then different story but same rule applies), for Kalatsutsi to meet Phillipine, it would have to be through a clash between the Light Blue forces, and the Dark Red forces. However, I feel like for her to develop a crush on him, she would have to get to know him and trust him a LOT (because since they live in a military setting, death is a major concern. Strength plays a large part because obviously you wouldnt want your spouse to die. Also trust issues because of so much death and trauma). She would have to develop a crush on him through prolonged contact in some way, maybe there is an arc featuring the two or three of them (Crystal), or maybe… and this is just a theory… Kalatsutsi has secret relations with the Light Blue side. Now I dont have more than that! BUT IM JUST SPECULATING LMAO

IDK I ALSO HAVE THE IMPRESSION THAT SHE IS THIS REALLY STRONG TOUGH AND REASONABLE WARRIOR like an actually girlboss

Next up, going back to Kalatsutsi and Aqua, I wonder if Kalatsutsi had some encounter with him and thats how Aqua likes Kalatsutsi so much. It goes back to what I said before, something had to have happened between them that made Aqua gain respect for her, and bound her to him by some form of events (maybe bound is the wrong word, they could also be rivals aswell, maybe its the “girl pushes guy away because she doesn’t like him but secretly respects him and guy is pretty annoying and keeps on bothering her because he is either infatuated with her or has interior motives” trope.) but yeah, something HAD to have happened between them… ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY ARE TWO STRONG FORCES, OMG YESSS THEY ARE SO COOL.

Also, from the limited edition poster thing, does that mean she is famous in the world? Because if she is I’d assume its infamy, because she’s probably a MONSTER on the battlefield.

A/N: Jade being OOC, kinda wrote this out of what I'm feeling rn tbh

Jade Leech in his civilian clothes, stood silently at the door frame of his s/o's room. It was early sunday morning he decided to visit his lover. He was greeted by the messy state of your room. Dirty laundry and sheets of paper littered on the floor, curtain was closed which made your room dark and blocked the sunlight from spilling inside. Taking off his outdoor shoes, he took his indoor slippers that has been sitting at the shoe rack. Silently picking up the clothes off the ground before tossing them inside the laundry bag hiding behind the door.

It has been a habit of his to clean your room ever since you two started dating. He has gotten used to his twin's chaotic side of space. Not to mention, his mess is worse than yours.

"(Y/N), are you still alive?" Jade leaned over your shoulder, poking your cheek as he await your response. Your eyelashes flutter open as your eyes slowly adjust to the view

"I'm dead." You mutter loud enough for him to hear, remaining motionless with your face buried into your books. "On the inside."

Your tall boyfriend merely chuckle at your suffering. How caring of him. But jokes aside, he is definitely worried how stressed you were for the past few days. With how busy both of you with your own lives for the past weeks, you both could mostly communicate via call or text.

His s/o pressured by the expectations of their parents to be able to graduate on time and to be find a stable job in the future, this boyfriend couldn't take seeing them cry secretly and pretend they are fine whenever they're with him.

"Since you're dead on the inside, why not have a tea that I made." Your boyfriend offered as he took out the canister from his shoulder bag and pour you some to drink. The fragrant aroma of chamomile tea fill the room.

Feeling lightheaded, you slowly lift your self up and let your head follow the scent of the tea. You quietly gave your thanks as you accept the cup from him. Blowing it slightly, you took a sip as you stare mindless at the wall.

"Please don't push yourself too much. If you are tired, take a break." He placed the canister atop of the nightstand before approaching your equally messy study desk.

"When will these be passed?" Jade mutter to himself as he survey your laptop and check each deadline date of your activities and assignments.

"Take a rest for now. I'll help you later once you get some sleep." Your boyfriend assisted you up from your chair to the bed, covering you with the comforter.

Sniffing, you asked him. "Aren't you supposed to be meeting with those two today? For the next product if I could recall."

Jade merely smiled as he sat beside you and smoothly said, "Azul can handle it all himself. He is already a grown adult. I highly doubt Floyd will assist him though."

Knowing his antics, you laughed not noticing he was admiring how the side of your eyes crinkle as you smile. "You're so mean."

Brushing back the strands of baby hair that covered your forehead with his fingers, he start to massage your head as he ran his fingers through your hair. "It has been awhile since we went out. I want to spend my time making you feel better today."

"Jade..."

"(Y/N), I know that you are tired mentally and physically. But whenever you feel blue, please don't hesitate to call me. I'd be willing to ditch Azul anytime just to go to you."

Your eyes pricked as your vision slowly get blurry with tears. Knowing he's there with you, you let these tears fall as you pour everything you have been bottling up inside.

"Jade, thank you for everything..." You mumble against his chest, your eyelids getting heavier by the second. Before you know it, you have fallen fast asleep.

His soft gaze lingering on your adorable sleepy face, he wiped the little drool that was already attempting to escape from your mouth. With a chuckle, he kissed your forehead before laying his head atop yours.

"I too, (Y/N)."

In the Monstro Lounge office, the two young man were sitting as they wait for someone. These were Azul and Floyd, in their shop's uniform wear. They arranged a meeting today for the next product launch which is why they are here. Yet that certain person unfortunately had a change of plans.

Glancing at the ticking clock hanging on the wall, the silver-haired young man decided to speak up.

"Floyd, where in the world is Jade?" Azul tapped his fingers against the table as he impatiently asked the other twin who's preoccupied in his phone.

"He's currently in his lover's apartment, hogging them all to himself." Floyd sluggishly answered as he scroll through his feed with a bored look.

"Huh?" Azul stared at the tall young man with a look of disbelief. Floyd lift his head from his phone.

"Eh? Jade didn't text you?"

"Are you kidding me..."
