Hello fam. Trust you're having a great weekend? Today, we continue our conversation about Living the Life of Abundance. For the full sermon, kindly subscribe to our YouTube channel via the link in bio. Here are some excerpts; Strategy is what you need when your options are limited. God does not need strategy. He works out everything for our good if we love Him and are called according to His purpose. What differentiates us per time is what God has revealed to us. What God reveals to us is dependent on the level of our maturity in walking with Him. God's word give us an insight on what is available on the menu for us to enjoy, but until we read it, and practice it, we may not have access to all the abundance layered out for us in it. The person who owns a project is always committed to financing it. Same way God is always committed to providing all the resources we need to carry out any assignment He has committed in our hands, if we are following His leading. The question is can God trust us? Can he count on us? Deut. 29.20 Some of the qualities of abundant life as we stated the last time include: It is inspirational to others, pointing others to Christ. It also is heavenly, we have free access to our heavenly Father and the Angels are at our disposal. This life in incorruptible. It's eternal, even when we die, we have hope of rising, changed and with better immortal life. It is timeless. This abundant life is invaluable. 1 Peter 1.18-19. We were not redeemed by corruptible things like silver and gold, we were redeemed by the precious blood of the lamb, God's only Son. John 10.10. This abundant life overflows. We are blessed to bless others who come in contact with us. To heal the sick, help the helpless. It's not a self-contained life. It's a life meant to touch other lives for God. This life is satisfying. John 4. 13 - 14. It's a living water that can fill the vacuum in our lives and overflowing from us to others. This life is the life of Christ. Have a merry Christmas 馃巹馃槉馃檹 #hcccng #Christ #abundantlife #trustGod #obeygod #believegod #SundayService #ModelingChristAndTransformingLives https://www.instagram.com/p/CXqmKJxtYYm/?utm_medium=tumblr

Living the Abundant life. Hello fam. It's a blessed weekend. Here are excerpts from today's service. For the full sermon subscribe to our YouTube channel via the link in bio. What does it mean to live abundant life? This definitely means different things to different people. To some it may mean having every resource needed for a seamless flow of life and it's necessities. To others it may mean having large quantity of all that concerns life, to solve challenges for you and even others. What is Christ's perspective on this? John 10.10 Unlike the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. An enjoyable life that is full and overflowing. A better life that we can ever dream of. John 9.5, 39 - 41. John 10.1-10. A thief in this passage is anyone who tries to give us access to life outside of Christ. The door in this scripture signifies anything we believe can give us access to what seems like a good life, pleasure, success, hope or significance, outside of Jesus. These pleasures from these sources come with no peace of mind, they are idols. Jesus is the only door! Not any of us. We are not to make ourselves the door, judging others or determining who is serving God sincerely or not. Matt. 23.13. We are only called to be witnesses, pointing others to the door - Christ. Also the Shepherd here, is Jesus! Psalm 23. He is our father. The relationship we have with him is what matters. He owns the universe and all in it. He cares for you and I. There's nothing off the limit for us in accessing when we are connected to Him. We are His sheep. Sheep, by nature, always need help. Are you making yourself available for God to help? Or are you feeling that you can help yourself? Are we familiar with His voice, words and thoughts just like sheep to their Shepherd? May God guide and lead us into the best life He has prepared for us abundantly. Amen! Enjoy God's abundance in this new week and always. #hcccng #Christ #sundayservice #abundantlife #trustGod #ModelingChristAndTransformingLives https://www.instagram.com/p/CXHA9_UNzyX/?utm_medium=tumblr

Walking in Love part 3 Hello fam, Trust you are doing great? Today we continue our conversation on "Walking in Love" For the full sermon, click the link in bio. In this issue of walking in love, God's love for us, is our reference point. Isaiah 54.10: Rom. 8.37 - 39. God's love for us, is unfailing. It never fails. Do not forget, love is a command from God and should be our highest goal as believers. Love is faith in action, and the source of Faith is God's Word. So what gives substance to our faith is love. Gal. 5.14. Love therefore, is the proof of our identity and salvation. Luke 10.25 - 37, from the story of the good Samaritan, some lessons can be learnt about love. - We need to be mindful of others (deliberately conscious), connecting more deeply with the people in our lives and around us. - We also need to be mindful of what God's priority is. God's priority is what we do for others as His representatives here on the earth. Don't be too busy to connect with people and show love. We have to repent of this and recalibrate what is important to God. The Samaritan in this passage showed us that in Christ, all labels have been removed, no Jews nor Greek, no slave nor free.. Same way we should behave when it comes to showing love to others, there should be no discrimination. - Don't reach out to show love to someone because of the reward you will get in return. - Helping a person who needs help is helping Christ. Mathew 25.34 - 40. - Knowing the Word is not enough, the only thing that matters is what you do with it. Remember, Love is our way of life. Our faith put into action. So, we must daily deliberately put it in our To-do list to be a blessing to someone. Receive grace to make yourself available for God to use. Have a lovely week ahead. #hcccng #love #walkinginlove #faithinaction #proofoffaith #godscommand #sundaysermon #ModelingChristAndTransformingLives https://www.instagram.com/p/CVIavxjDUn8/?utm_medium=tumblr

How to walk in the Unforced Rythm of Grace Hello fam. It was an awesome time of fellowship yesterday. For the full sermon, kindly subscribe to our Youtube channel via link in bio. May you walk in the unforced rhythm of grace this week. Grace simply means unmerited favor. The Scripture defines grace as a gift from God. Eph. 2.8 None of us got saved because of what we did. Rom. 3.24, We were justified by grace. 2. Cor. 9.8 In this scripture, grace is a working of God's power in us making us able to do what we are not able to do naturally, including enduring through trials and temptations. This grace is made available for us as a power for living, helping us to live the life of Christ and doing things that would be impossible to do on our own. When grace is unforced, it means we are empowered by God to enjoy undeserved favors, and live through trials and temptations. To live beyond our own limitations. This is realizing that God is in charge! Mathew 11.20 - 24; 25 - 27, ; 28 - 30, God hates unbelief and that is a sin that is unforgivable. However, His grace is made available to us if we are willing to listen to Him, acknowledge our sins and believe Him to save us by repenting from our old ways. He said we should come to Him, we that labor and are heavy ladened and obtain rest, - grace. That is stepping away from what is stopping us and focusing on God. We need to retreat with God's Word and spend time with Him. Then we need to walk and work with Him. Pay attention to Him and learn the unforced rhythm of Grace and replicate it. We need to study God's Word and make it a daily habit. Study, observe, apply and pray. Retreat regularly, stay in the center of God's Will - be grateful and reflect on experiences. We only become better by the experiences we reflect on. Jesus came so we can have a better life than we ever can imagine. Receive grace to walk in this unforced rhythm of grace. Amen! #hcccng #grace #unforcedrhythmsofgrace #trustGod #believegod #ModelingChristAndTransformingLives https://www.instagram.com/p/CTwUo5GDGVp/?utm_medium=tumblr

The Transformational Power of Humility Hello fam. Trust your weekend is going well? To listen to the full sermon of today's service, kindly subscribe to our YouTube channel via the link in bio. In the meantime, here are some excerpts; Humility is accepting what God says concerning you over what anyone else says or think. It's deriving your confidence from God. It's showing that you do not think of yourself as better than anyone else, but also not putting yourself lower than whom God says you are. It's not bowing your head and walking gently. It is not your posture before men but your posture before God. It's not letting your ego get in the way of helping others. Phil. 2.1 - 11, Jesus Christ is our perfect model for humility. Even though He has equal status with God the Father, He did not think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. He set aside His privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human just to save you and I. He lived a selfless obedient life and died a selfless, obedient death and the worst kind of death at that - crucifixion. 2 Chronicles 7.14, Proverbs 22.4, 11.2. Humility is knowing who you are in Christ and living it out! God resists the proud and lifts the humble. When we are humble, and turn from our wicked ways, and call on God and pray, God blesses us with grace, promotion, more riches, guidance, wisdom, healing, answered prayer, victory and more. May we receive grace to understand who we are in Christ and live humble. Amen! Enjoy God's lifting this week! #hcccng #christ #humilty #sundayservice #ModelingChristAndTransformingLives https://www.instagram.com/p/CTcVAMEDszC/?utm_medium=tumblr

Taking the Leap from Hearing to Doing- Sermon title Hello fam, Trust your day is going well? It was an amazing time of fellowship today. Kindly subscribe to our Youtube channel via the link in bio for the full sermon. In the meantime, here are some excerpts; 2 Cor 5.17, Christ came so that we will be empowered to live above sin. When we become born again, and we are in Christ, He makes us new and all things about us become new in His sight. He forgives our past. The life we now have is that of Christ. Psalm 1.1 - 3 For us to be doers of God's Word, we must first delight in His Word. It must be our everyday manual for living. We must find His Word joyful and our go to place for daily instructions. Psalm 119.103. God's Word must be sweet to our taste buds, so much so that we naturally hunger for it. We must meditate on God's Word daily, for us to work it into the fabrics of our being, only then can we observe to do them. Joshua 1.8. Grace to hear and do is available in Christ. May you partake of that grace in Jesus name. Have a blessed week. #hcccng #christ #hearinganddoing #sundayservice #ModelingChristAndTransformingLives https://www.instagram.com/p/CTKO1b7DX6O/?utm_medium=tumblr

Enjoying God's Best in Marriage Hello fam. How's your day going? Fellowship was awesome today as always. To get the full sermon, please visit and subscribe to our Youtube channel @hcccng via the link in bio. In the meantime, here are some excerpts; Marriage is God's initiative. Gen 2. 18 - 25. Eccl 4.10 - 11, every marriage has a purpose. Phil. 4. Eph. 5.22 - 28. The foundation of our relationships outwardly is a function of our surrender to Christ. A wife's submission to her husband is a show of her surrender to Christ. Likewise a man is to love his wife unconditionally exactly as Christ loves the church, a love marked by giving and not by getting. God's best is Christ, so to enjoy the best in our marriage, it has to be a marriage that is founded and modelled after Christ. 1 Cor. 7.17 Comparison is a trap. Do not compare your marriage with others. Remember, you are unique and your union is unique. So realize this, that where you are right now is God's place for you. God, not your marital status defines your life. 1 Cor. 7.4 Marriage is a training ground to grow in different aspects of our character. It's a growing concern. Understand that trust is very important. Pray together because that helps you to align your marriage purpose and assignments. Marriage is an opportunity to serve one another. It helps us to learn humility. It's a platform for God's purpose to be accomplished through us here on earth. Partnership for Productivity Hello fam. For the full sermon, kindly visit our YouTube channel@hcccng (via link in bio) and subscribe. Partnership is key if we want to win. Gen. 1.1 - 3, In the beginning, even God did not do creation alone, when He wanted to create the earth. Gen 1.26 God said ".. Let us make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness..." God made a human being that was going to exist in partnership with others, in order to exhibit the attributes of God. God does not operate solo. He intends for us to exist not as 'me' & 'mine' but as 'us' and 'ours'. God made man in 'OUR' (God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit) image and likeness. Partnership, collaboration, mergers, marriage, etc are all geared towards achieving best level of productivity. However, to be in any of these forms of partnerships, we first must attain maturity. Even Jesus Christ our model had to grow and mature before starting His ministry here on the earth. He didn't go solo in the process of doing this even though He could, but He recruited and partnered with 12 disciples in achieving His mission, imparting and empowering them to continue this mission long after He was taken up to heaven. We can only maximize our potentials when we collaborate with people that share the same vision with us. Sometimes, we fail to collaborate because of fear of betrayal. When we are united, we achieve a whole lot, and when we are united with God, there's nothing impossible to achieve, John 15. One whole share of one is not as big as 1% of a hundred or thousand. Ever wondered why five lions can chase a thousand Buffaloes? collaboration, partnership!! May God introduce you to the ones you need to collaborate with for maximum impact! Above all may we receive grace to partner with God to serve and be productive even in His Kingdom in Jesus name. Amen! #Hcccng #Christ #Sundayservice #partnership #productivity #Winning #trustGod #ModelingChristAndTransformingLives https://www.instagram.com/p/CReQblIpZOn/?utm_medium=tumblr

*Achieving Your Highest Level of Productivity* Hello fam! Its the first Sunday in July and today's service was awemazing as always. For the full sermon, kindly visit our YouTube channel @hcccng and subscribe. Here are some excerpts; *Does God want us to be Productive?* Gen. 1.28 Yes God's nature is for us to be fruitful. It's the reason a human being is born as a child not an adult. God expects growth to happen. John 10.10 Jesus came so that we could have a better life than we ever dreamed of. God is able! Deut. 28.1 *In What Areas of our lives does God want us to be Productive?* Deut. 28.4 - 7, He is interested in our all-round productivity. 3 John 2 God is not an author of poverty. He has provided an earth that has all resources we will ever need to prosper if we don't mismanage them. 2 Kings 13. We have the capability to limit God by our beliefs. How productive we become is determined by our belief and the actions we take. If we are not living in our highest level of Productivity, it's our responsibility and not God's. *How do I guarantee abundance of harvest?* John 15.5. When our relationship with Jesus is intimate and organic, we are constantly connected or joined with God in our relationship with Him. We need to cultivate this relationship daily and mindfully. Depending on Him and trusting His leadership and instructions daily. Simply put, change the channel you have been listening to and be attuned to God's channel. Psalm 1.3. Be committed to the revelation you receive from God's Word and follow through with proportional actions even if it doesn't make sense to you in your own thinking, and see God do the rest. May we receive grace to take this words and act, to stay consistent in God's Word and reap the abundant harvest that it brings. Amen! Hello fam. Today our conversation is titled "Implications of the finished work of Christ" To listen to the full sermon, kindly subscribe to our YouTube channel @hcccng In the meantime, here are some excerpts from the sermon Heb 9 &10. We should be daily grateful to God for the finished work of Christ because even the likes of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other prophets of old in the Bible, longed to see this reality but weren't as privileged as we are today, yet they believed God till their death. They had to do lots of sacrifices for the atonement of sins, yet the blood of those bulls and goats could not get rid of sin. However, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary took away our sins once and for all. All we have to do now is believe God, come to terms with who He is and what He has done, and then step out in faith to take action to obey His instructions to us in His Word. 2 Peter 3.1 - 4 God has made provision for all we will ever need to do this work He has committed to our hands. His death on the cross of calvary gave us direct access to God the Father through Jesus and victory over sin. We therefore cannot afford to come before God today with guilt in our hearts. We cannot approach His throne of grace with fear, but with courage, boldness and a grateful heart, not allowing the devil to keep us in permanent guilt but with a repentant heart, and resolve not to go back to sin. Christ's death on the cross redeemed us and took us away from the hold of sin and everything it represents. We were reconnected to God through His death. Before now, our relationship with God was severed because of our sins, but thanks be to God who initiated and completed our redemption process through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus paid our death it in full . He reconciled us to God again. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus! Have a victorious week. #Hcccng #Christ #Sundaysermon #modelingchristandtransforminglives https://www.instagram.com/p/CNh7_6YpPwk/?igshid=1r7e4947ewimn
