Insurance Company Mod
Life Insurance
My mod allows you to buy and claim life insurance for the whole family.
This a computer interaction and has no goals.
How to Buy?
Buying is easy, pop on a computer and look for my insurance company mod pie menu.
The pie will only show for a Young Adult
Adult
Elder
It will cost $2896 which will be taken as a single payment
and will cover any sim living on the lot at the time of buying anyone who joins the family after that will have to be their own policy
when able to.(I am planning an addon to add new family soon)
Once bought it will take 24 sims hours to become active you will get a notification to let you know.
Each member of the household will receive two gameplay traits once active.
I'm Covered Trait - Which lets you know your sim is covered should anything happen to him/her.
Trustee - Which lets you know this sim may be able to make a claim on a policy
I say "may" as not all sims will get a chance to make a claim which I will explain further later on
How does making a claim work?
Firstly I should say I've made this so the pie only shows when a claim is valid. This means the pies will not show if you do not have a match
the requirements I have selected.
Requirements are you must have both I'm Covered Trait, Trustee Trait as well as one of the following buffs
Widow
Widower
Death of a loved one
Loss in the family grandparent
Loss in the family parent
You can only make one claim per household
This means that some Sims may not get a chance to make a claim.
An example of this is if you have a child sim who is covered by a parent policy and
one of the households sadly pass away and young adult, adult, or elder living with them
makes a claim they would then not be able to make another claim.
Making a claim?
Jump on the computer and find the insurance company pie you will only see the claim option if you have passed the requirements listed above
only claim will show as you have already bought the insurance already click claim and away we go...
Making a claim costs $100 and again you will receive notifications alone the way to keep you up to date on your claim.
The process for a claim is longer than buying and will take 5 sims days.
There are 5 stages to pass before your claim is complete
Claim Submitted = 24 hours
Claim Progress = 24 hours
Claim Accepted = 12 hours
Settlement Departement = 12 hours
Pay Out = 2 days
thorough out all stages you will be kept informed about your claim. Once all are complete you will get your payment sent to your household
funds which have been set at $351.304
At the time of payment, each sim in the household will also receive a gameplay trait "Set For Life" which completes the claim.
How to install?
Download files and extract into your mods folder,
Please make sure you have "Allow script mods " on in your game settings to allow
my mod to work.
**Sorry but I'm unsure on which packs the mod will require as I own all packs**

Okay back to sims stuff. I am thinking of updating my ADHD trait, maybe even completely revamping it since I do not have the old files anymore. I have the trait itself, but not the modconstructor project. So idk, I think my old one was trash anyways and needs to be fixed, now that my ADHD is under control I have a better idea of what my symptoms are related to it, vs what is my bipolar, etc.
I might do a bipolar trait at some point. I do want to also fix my depression trait at some point too, update it and whatnot.
If anyone has any suggestions for things you want to see in my ADHD or depression traits, let me know. I will take suggestions for these two! Thanks. <3
And welcome new followers, ily you all, new and old, and mutuals. *heart eyes*

http://simelicious.tumblr.com/post/164320683118/hello-sorry-if-the-asks-about-making-traits-are
how to make occasional buffs 1. Create your trait 2. Click the Buff tab 3. Click the Loots tab 4. Click the plus sign next to the Events box 5. Choose Occasional Buff and name your buff 6. Fill out the info on the screen that pops up 7. Don't add any test conditions 8. Make sure there's a minimum wait or the buff will be applied constantly. 9. Hit create resources.
Do not modify anything else related to the buff and you should have a working occasional buff.
For making an occasional buff, you will need: - A trait made in Mod Constructor that the sim will have - e.g. a personality trait. Confirm your sim is able to get the trait! - On the trait, under Buff/Info, 'Create Buff' should be ticked to give the trait an attached buff. This buff can be made emotionless and thus invisible. - On the trait, under Buff/Loots, you will need an event. You can click the + icon and choose '!Create Event' to make one. - On the event, you will need a loot in 'Loot Action'. You can click the + icon to make one. (You could also tweak the wait values on the event to make it run frequently to help you test) - On the loot, you will need a loot component. You can click the + icon and choose '!Loot Component - Buff' to make one. - On the loot component, 'Participant' should be set to 'Actor', which means this loot will do something to the sim that caused this action to happen. (I assume if you leave 'Test Conditions' blank on the loot component, it will always run, but I haven't tested this) - On the loot component, you will need a buff in 'Buffs'. You can click the + icon and choose '!Create Standalone Buff' to make one. - On the standalone buff, 'Create Buff' should be ticked, 'Buff SimData' should be set to an emotion weight of 1 or greater, and 'Buff Duration' should be set higher than 0.
