I have to make a serious post for a second here.

It is not acceptable to send us hate or any kind of threats for any reason whatsoever. Cowardly anons and death threats sent to our personal blogs is fucking horrible and will not be tolerated.

We draw on this blog for free. We fulfil requests for free. There is a difference between outright attacking us and offering constructive criticism when warranted.

I totally understand if you feel like we haven't properly fulfilled your request. Like we can have an adult conversation about it and edit/redraw when needed. That's fine, we all make mistakes and there's always space for improvement. I have NO issues with someone coming forward with genuine criticism or feeling under-represented- that is not the issue here.

Sending us vague bullshit passive aggressive messages on anon helps no one. Sending death threats helps NOBODY.

Now that I am in my own apartment and don’t have cable I’m basically using twitch as my tv/background noise again but I feel like I’m seeing people not know how to act?

And I am not the person to make a “new people’s guide to twitch” but I have also been on the site for almost 5 years at this point so…here goes…

Don’t be a dick to the streamers and mods (which is the TLDR of everything below)

Remember you are there *for the streamer* and/or the game they are playing

If you would rather be watching someone else or some other game, click away from the stream. Don’t comment “play something else” or “I’m only here for [whatever]”

(Notable exception to the above is pets. If pets are on you generally can say you’re only here for pets 😂)

Also generally considered rude to be like “I’m gonna go watch [X] instead of you” like either just leave in quiet or say you gotta go. Better yet just lurk in the stream and keep the volume off

Listen to the mods do not fight with them if they tell you to chill out or put you in time out just accept it, it happens to all of us

Read the room, if the mood is light don’t come in there with depressing shit, if shit is heavy don’t play a fart sound idfk

Don’t ask for gift subs

DONT INTENTIONALLY TRY TO WIG THE STREAMER OUT. If you have known the streamer for a minute and are a regular chatter then you’ll get more leeway with being a troll but if it’s your fourth message and you’re asking weird raunchy shit you’re flirting with a ban. Furthermore even if you are a regular and you notice the bit might be going a little too far, pull back.

You don’t know these people. You are talking thru a computer to them.
