I'm not a role model, I don't plan to be. I'm just a 23-year-old college student and young adult trying to survive a quarter-life crisis over here.

Hey everyone, I have an important announcement regarding our Star Wars Collab Fanfiction server on Discord. I've noticed a frustrating pattern lately of members joining the server, being somewhat active for a little while, and then disappearing without any notice or commitment.

I clarify - I am banning lazy, annoying, uncommitted fake members who play the asshole card. It pisses me off when people make last-minute plans and can't make up their damn minds. Stop wasting my damn time! It's rude, frustrating, annoying and brings unnecessary stress.

Going forward, I want to be upfront - if you join this fanfiction server, I expect you to be an active, committed member. That doesn't mean you have to be online 24/7, but it does mean regularly participating in discussions, showing up to collaborate on writing projects, and letting us know if you'll be inactive for a period of time.

For the love of God, Buddha, Athena - stop wasting my damn time! This is the last straw. You are banned if you pissed me off. I am recruiting real Star Wars fanfiction writers who are actually intrigued to join and collaborate.

If you realize this server isn't for you after joining, that's totally fine! Just let me or a mod know so we can remove you properly. But joining, being a ghost for a few weeks, and then disappearing forever? That's not cool.

My goal is to build a tight-knit community of Star Wars fanfiction writers who actually want to be here and work together. Uncommitted members who just take up space aren't helping achieve that vision. I will post announcements, but I need committed fanfic writers who are actually intrigued to join and collaborate.

First and foremost, thank you so much for your patience, and my sincerest apologies for how long this has all taken to wrangle together. I have a handful of long-awaited updates below on previous delays, digital copies today, wrap-up and leftover sales, so please read carefully!

To start, I'd like to issue an apology for the delays this project has suffered over the course of its run and offer a bit of transparency. This year was unexpectedly very hard personally and health-wise, and without going into detail about illness for the sake of sensitivity, took me out of contact on several weeks-long stretches and occasions, leaving my team in the dark without news—and by extension all of you. Such long radio silence and delays are not what you want in a project that deals with people's money, trust and time, and I know it's been frustrating, and for that I'm so sorry. My lack of communication was difficult and monumentally unfair for everyone involved, and I wanted to take a moment to thank Mods Ari and Michi, as well as Kait, for working behind the scenes to keep things running, to update all of you when they could, and for going above and beyond in ways there aren’t words for, when I was unable or unwilling to step up. If any readers are in the zine scene (as regular buyers, or as contributors yourselves) and see them on a project in the future, please check it out, because they’re a force like no other, and will make an amazing experience out of anything they run. They are, quite frankly, the only reason this project was started and finished, and deserve all the support you guys have sent and more for what they went through and accomplished despite the difficulties I caused them, our contributors, and our timeline to you, our customers.

All customer orders were mailed out June 2nd. As I was unable to update BigCartel with tracking at the time, it meant that most of you were not notified. I’m incredibly sorry. I’ve spoken to a handful of folks about their packages this week, but from our internal shipping system, it appears everything was safely delivered. Im telling you guys about my theory on evadare and what the void is(threat/j)

for context(according to what i heard from people who are in rems server): the events of evadare and xrun are REAL events that actually happened to Rafe. this is confirmed

The Void is a VERY big mystery, y'know? like, vaguely gestures. the two main things ive seen are: Is Whats Going On In It Real and Whats Happening.

Heres my thoughts on what it is, and i even have Evidence!!!

I think the void is a weird pocket dimension, in that bermuda triangle-esc thing we see the ship shipwreck into, that projects the viewers traumas and fears into reality as a form of Nightmare, and the way to beat it/get out is to "beat your nightmare". weird right?

this is in Rems video titled "Incredibox || Evadare Chapter III - Void || Announcement"

Now onto why i think the void projects peoples traumas and fears and to why i think its Not Real!! in that order

Do you see those warning triangles that say "OXYGEN LOW"? those are the same warning triangles we see in the Galaxy Bonuses on Rafes space suit

and have you noticed the Void gasmasks name? its 072021. 07/2021. July 2021. its a date, and if you look at all of rems youtube posts during that time, you can see that they all relate to Galaxy:

Nearly suffocating to death in space, only being saved by either his friend sacrificing himself or Aries stepping in, Must have been traumatic for Rafe. and seeing him die(again depending on what you believe) would be terrifying!!

this friend, seen in both the 2nd galaxy bonus and evadares 3rd bonus. Rafe has to see nightmare crush his friend. the next screenshot is from voids 1st bonus, right before it happens

His friend dying is either a severe Trauma to Rafe or a severe Fear. either way, the void takes advantage of it. Now onto whats actually a fear.

Capitan(and his crew by proxy) is one of the only allies Rafe has in this entire journey, and you can see this in his sound in the mod too!! him Telling Rafe that he should stay and he will be kept safe.

it makes sense that seeing him die would be a major fear of Rafe.

And now that we went into what the Void Does, lets go into if its real or not. as i said i don't think it is, and the secret is in the sprites/voids bonus!!

Look at the sprite between Nightmare and Jacko.

They're similar, but Noticeably different!! nightmares eyes and mouth are different, and the shapes his sprite is comprised of are bumpy and rough, compared to Jackos face and smooth/clean sprite-work.

and another: notice the differences between gasmask and 072021(along with 072021 being a incarnation of Rafes trauma from galaxy)

different outfits. but thats not really one im paying attention to tho, despite it being worth noting.

what i want to talk about is their Animations!! gasmasks only animation is his head moving up and down to the rhythm of his sound, and his mask lenses fogging up as he exhales. while 072021's animation has the cheeks of his mask puff up and sink in as he inhales and exhales!! very noticeable difference. especially considering the point i made before

now onto the most notable point:

Rafes cuts on his face are completely missing.

we can clearly see in Voids 1st bonus that he has the cuts on his face he gained in Xrun:

but later, in the same bonus, As SOON as he enters the void and we can see his face, they are GONE COMPLETELY:

you may say its a mistake and rem forgot, but she included the blood spatter on rafes face he got from Capitan dying at Nightmares hands, his cuts stayed the entire time in xruns bonuses and the beginning of Voids, so they are an important detail in his design!!

The blood spatter is even in his sprite!! theres no way rem would include the BLOOD FROM CAPITAN DYING and THE SLIT IN HIS EYEBROW and not include the cuts on his face

That concludes this VERY long post about my theory!!!! i hope you guys consider this :DDDDD

This format is definetely a lot easier to do, seeing that it is just one day. But, at the same time, I feel like it can be so easy to miss out on it. This sure has happened to me a few times in other fandoms LOL. So, I'm imagining we can extend on the period of receiving/accepting entries for it. Late entries will totally be accepted!

As for the Secret Santa idea...

The answers were a lot more mixed. December can be such a mixed bag for everyone, so the results don't surprise me. It's understandable! So, we'll put this one off for this year, maybe we'll have more people interested in it in the next one.

Lately, when we've reached out to individuals that feedback allegedly affects, we have been told that there isn't a problem or that they're handling it themselves. For the record, we want our members to handle problems themselves first, and then call on the mods to enforce boundaries.

We would also like to remind everyone to read and reread both our server rules & official rules, especially if you haven't freshened up on them lately. We've received some feedback lately about behavior which may not fall under the umbrella of accepted community etiquette, but does not actually constitute breaking rules. This etiquette should not be referred to as a formal rule, and so there should be no expectation on the mod team to enforce it. There are no "hidden" rules. This is not to be confused with setting reasonable boundaries and having those boundaries encroached on. That in itself constitutes the breaking of a rule, and you should approach a mod about it.

Last month, we announced that we will begin requiring that everyone link skill point trackers to their stats pages. We will begin enforcing this rule on March 1st, so don't delay. This is ONLY to track skill points and will not replace your regular stats page. If you would like to use a template, we have several listed on our app page. You may also make your own, as long as it breaks down how many skill points you have and where you got them. If you need help figuring out your skill points, please reach out to Mod Rai.

Sorry for the late response, we realised that shipping was a bigger issue than we expected ^^”Sun and I discussed which ships we would like to write for this blog and we decided on Kyman, Staig, Bendy and Bunny. Bendy and Bunny are probably gonna stay more on the background unless you guys ask more about them.

We also decided to divide how we are gonna answer the questions, we are gonna make a post about who writes for which character but in advance asks about Bunny and Bendy will be mostly answered by me :D

Science Fiction Yuri Graphic Novel 'Always Human' Volume 2 Announced; Creator Begins Releasing New Webtoon

On June 15, Ari "walkingnorth" North announced on Twitter that the second and final book in her science fiction romance series Always Human will be released in print in Summer 2023 from Little Bee Books. The graphic novel includes all of the original webcomic's second season, chapter 38 through the epilogue.

Always Human was initially published as a WebToon Original from 2015 to 2017. The first season was adapted into a graphic novel by Little Bee Books in sponsorship with GLAAD. The publisher describes the first volume:

In the near-future, people use technology to give the illusion of all kinds of body modifications-but some people have "Egan's Syndrome," a highly sensitive immune system that rejects these "mods" and are unable to use them. Those who are affected maintain a "natural" appearance, reliant on cosmetics and hair dye at most to help them play with their looks.

Sunati is attracted to Austen the first time she sees her and is drawn to what she assumes is Austen's bravery and confidence to live life unmodded. When Sunati learns the truth, she's still attracted to Austen and asks her on a date. The series tells a very relatable and human story about two people falling in love, understanding each other, and navigating a relationship. It has received praise for its characters, vibrant and colorful artwork, and inclusion of diverse identities. Erica Friedman gave the first book a perfect 10/10 score on Okazu, calling it "a radiant story of love, of life, and of a hopeful future."

North also announced that she was working on a new webcomic, Seven Days in Silverglen, which she is releasing on Webtoon Canvas. It is a supernational "monstergirl romcom" following Tess, a gorgon, who has a crush on her coworker.

Seven Days in Silverglen is the author's first new release since her webcomic Arial Magic went on indefinite hiatus after its second season ended in August 2019.

Hello everyone! We've got a few announcements to cover with our admin team. You might have heard first-hand or noticed that our wonderful Jude and Ark have become significantly busier over the course of the past month, and while they adore Reus and all our incredible members, they've decided they've had to bow out for the timebeing, and send all their love! We'll miss them immensely and will keep them in our collective hearts. We will be reaching out to people who have significant plots with Ari or Charon to figure out how to wrap up those arcs cleanly. But with that, we're so excited to announce an addition to our mod team - please welcome our lovely Admin Mar! We are thrilled to have a beloved member join us and help develop and progress Reus!

an oneshot snippet sets after Aris and Marr announced their engagement through arrangement apart of chapter 1 epilogue where, as you know, Aris received an unwelcome visitor: Darth Jadus in her apartment just hours after but the visit had left Aris shaken. I seriously need to resume on this oneshot because I was struggling with the dialogues in the other half, ahhhh. why dialogues are so hard to come up with.

I, however, had made an editset of this particular storytelling pose to make up for ngh @ writing motivations so the title was a nod reference to the pose mod. You can find the editset here: [link]

ok, don't laugh bc I'm 100% not satisified with this short snippet asdfghjkl. It's basically inspired by the pose mod I downloaded and checking it out in the sims with one of the height diff pose showed Aris' hand on Marr's chest/boob. Then this prompted me to write Aris had too much to drink and grabby hands at Marr's chest. I may get onto it but uhhhh knowing tumblr. :P
