“The Inumaki Prodigy”

Hakuja Inumaki is a 28 year old sorcerer at Jujutsu Tech. They’re a quiet individual, using notepads to communicate via simple drawings. They have a very light hearted air to them and seems upbeat.

Hakuja is one of the rare people in the Inumaki Clan where they can use the speech freely, having complete control on whether a word is an order or not. Due to this, their power is greatly valued and is incredibly strong. 

Hakuja was a classmate of Gojo, Geto, and Shoko. They were close with the three, more specifically Shoko. Later on, they become closer to Gojo, Shoko, and Nanami after Geto had decided to leave.

Hakuja as a child was naturally gifted, gaining the title as the “Inumaki Prodigy” in the clan. This only grew more prominent as they started to control their speech better than anyone else in the clan.

Hakuja some time near the end of her high school days, got attacked by a relative who had slit their throat. Shoko was the one to heal them up but it greatly hindered their progress on their controlled cursed speech. They eventually were able to get control over it again but after many trials and errors.

Hakuja has terrible vision due to their albinism. Their eyes are incredibly sensitive to light which makes it hard for them to see without it hurting. Because of this, they keep their eyes closed majority of the time unless they have sunglasses with them or if it’s dark out.

Gojo and Shoko are the only ones who can understand Hakuja without the notepad or speech. They just somehow know what they’re saying.

Hakuja has watched over Inumaki since he was little. Even after Hakuja could speak again after their throat got cut, they chose to not speak partially because they didn’t want Inumaki to feel left out when he was a child. Now that he’s older, Hakuja mirrors his speech whenever he’s around.

midnight: What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?

For HAKUJA, it’s the memories from the past. Hakuja has constant nightmares, no matter how good the day was, the night will always be worse. Hakuja’s main anxieties and fears stem from the past haunting the future. They always focus on what they could’ve done when they’re alone with their thoughts instead of the present. In the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping, Hakuja likes to sit on the roof with a blanket wrapped around them. They like to immerse themselves into the scenery and very rarely, they would hum to themselves.

Anything keeps AZA up at night. Whether it be a mistake he did, someone else did, a sound, anything will keep him awake. Because of this he doesn’t get much sleep but when he does, he surprisingly doesn’t have any nightmares. They used to happen a lot when he was a child to his teen years but Aza now sleeps peacefully like a baby when he can. Aza is anxious and fearful of the what ifs of any situation. Throughout the early hours of the night when he should be asleep are spent with him either crying or cooking something silently.

For the most part, HAKUJA is not really comfortable in their own skin. If anything, they choose to ignore and acknowledge their actual feelings on things. Because of this, Hakuja doesn’t really focus on their internal conflict. They tend to keep themselves busy to avoid this and it’s why they hate going to bed at night. It forces them to think by themselves which is uncomfortable. They’re all too aware of it and they hate it. 

Despite what you might initially think, AZA is comfortable in his own skin. It’s not a confidence thing, it’s just he’s come to terms with what he views himself to be. Does that mean he’s happy about it? No, not at all. But he’s not uncomfortable with it, it’s just…what he thinks is his reality. He acknowledges it.

HAKUJA does not mind physical wounds, normally at least. When you’re a sorcerer, it comes with the job. Emotional wounds? They try to distract themselves. Mental wounds? They also try to distract themselves. All three combined? It’s terrible for them. The night where he got his throat slit by his brother, it left a scar both physically, emotionally, and mentally. 

AZA cries whenever he’s wounded, no he cannot help it. He doesn’t get wounded much physically (anymore at least) since he’s learned to adapt to avoiding that but you can definitely see he’s been wounded emotionally and mentally numerous amount of times 😭 I’m not sure what the worst wound would be but I imagine it having to deal with his family.

I’d hug AZA 😭 that man has been through way too much and he desperately needs a hug, a kiss, and a good cuddle session. I will continue to put him through horrors though 😋

I’d stab MENDI. No apologies, no questions asked. I would stab him if given the opportunity. Would he even blink? No he wouldn’t but I’ll stab him for Ophi <3

I’d tell HAKUJA to please rest and relax. They don’t seem like they’re stressed but they constantly are.

AZA loves watermelons <3 it’s one of his favorite things ever. But AZA hates peanut butter. He can’t stand it

MENDI loves stirring the pot. He loves the drama, he loves gossip, he loves changing things up. MENDI hates being bored though, he despises it. The last time he was bored was the time Indrakshi (previous nature god) died via MENDI eating her 😭

HAKUJA loves cooking/baking, it’s something that keeps them preoccupied and focused. HAKUJA hates being cold which is ironic because fall is their favorite season and it can get pretty chilly
