Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Car Phone Holder with Wireless Charging
Tumblr media
Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Car Phone Holder with Wireless Charging
In the guide to choosing a car phone holder with wireless charging, it’s essential to highlight the role of MagSafe technology. Introduced by Apple, MagSafe combines magnets with wireless charging for a seamless experience. This technology allows devices to magnetically attach to the holder, ensuring a secure and precise alignment for reliable charging without cables. This simplifies the charging process and enhances the usability and versatility of car phone holders, making it easier to stay connected and powered up while driving. A MagSafe-compatible car phone holder offers a clutter-free, efficient charging solution, ideal for maintaining focus on the road and ensuring your device stays charged on the go.
Say Goodbye to Tangled Wires: The Convenience of Wireless Car Phone Holders
The primary allure of wireless car phone holders lies in their ability to charge your phone without needing to plug it in. This means you can say farewell to fumbling with cables and focus more on the road ahead. Besides the neatness factor, these holders use Qi wireless charging technology, compatible with most modern smartphones, making them a universal solution for drivers looking to streamline their in-car tech.
How Wireless Charging Holders Work with New Phones
Wireless charging holders operate on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When your phone is placed in the holder, an induction coil in the holder creates an alternating electromagnetic field, which the receiver coil in your phone converts back into electricity to charge the battery. This seamless process ensures your device stays charged, supporting the use of navigation apps and hands-free calls without depleting your phone’s battery life.
Choosing a Phone Holder that Minimizes Distractions
Safety should be your top priority when selecting a car phone holder. Look for a model that can be easily adjusted and securely fastened to your dashboard, windshield, or air vent. The holder should allow for one-handed operation, enabling you to place or remove your phone swiftly without taking your eyes off the road. Additionally, consider holders with automatic clamping features and those that offer a sturdy grip to prevent your device from shaking or falling during bumps or turns.
Road Trip Ready: Essential Gear for Long Drives, Including Your Phone Holder
For those who love hitting the road, a wireless charging phone holder is indispensable. It ensures your phone stays charged, accessible for navigation, and ready to capture any spontaneous moments along your journey. Pair it with other essential gear like a dash cam, a portable power bank, and a high-quality audio system to enhance your road trip experience.
Choosing a Wireless Phone Holder that Complements Your Car’s Interior
With the variety of designs available, you can find a wireless charging phone holder that not only meets your functional needs but also matches the aesthetic of your vehicle’s interior. Whether you prefer a minimalist design or one with LED indicators and additional charging ports, there’s a model out there that fits your style and your car’s dashboard.

Accessorizing With Disability ✨
I've seen a lot of people (Yes, For Real) reluctant to add disability aids to their characters because those aids are visually unappealing (and in case of character designs, "boring") or they do add aids, but so over the top on aesthetics that they wouldn't actually function (anyone who replaces a wheelchair with a living breathing animal, really)
So here is literally just a list of Shit I've Found While Decorating My Wheelchair. Feel free to add on.
Wheelchair Modifications
Some of these are for fun, some of them are for function, some are both. Many are chosen with intent to be stated at on purpose instead of for the wheelchair itself due to who I am as a person. This is the category I've done the most brainstorming in.
Custom paint jobs / decals (pictured example below, first image)
Bike horns / bells
Bike handlebar streamer thingies
Custom hubcaps and wheel covers (pictured example below, second image)
Clip on, usually folding rear view mirrors
Stickers / decals on seat backs (or patches for fabric chairs)
Handlebar or back bags
Colored / high visibility tape on wheels
Noisemakers / bells on wheels (admittedly these get annoying pretty fast)
Custom seat / armrest cushions
Clip on cup holders
Clip on cane holders
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eyes + Vision
Glasses chains
Pocket magnifiers worn as necklaces or on pocketwatch chains
Sunglasses
Goggles (tinted, to protect from irritation / dry eye, to magnify vision, etc)
Patterned fabric eye patches (pictured example below, first image)
Colored / embossed leather eye patches (pictured example below, second image)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hearing
Hearing aid stickers / skins (pictured example below, first image)
Hearing aid jewelry (pictured example below, second image)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A note on hearing aid jewelry: I originally got an anon ask that I added here about dangly jewelry causing issues during sign, which was then refuted by other users, so I've removed it. For total clarity it's 2am where I am and I'm trying to minimize misinformation before looking through things when I'm more awake. Sorry for the confusion.
Mobility That Isn't Wheelchairs
Custom paint jobs (pictured example below, first image)
Stickers / decals
Keychains on wrist loops
Attached decorations (within reason) (or without reason I guess) (pictured example below, second image)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's all I've got for now. Thanks 👍

NINE.FIVE — JULY 30, 2022, 7:30PM
Tumblr media
seonghwa didn't know why he agreed to go along, maybe it was the promise of his regular pack of cigarettes, but wooyoung, yeosang, and hongjoong were all goofing off, saying it's because he was curious about how the girl lived. the girl, who he honestly couldn't remember the name of.
the quartet parked inside the parking garage of her building, just able to squeeze past the barrier. and wooyoung immediately pulled his phone off his holder on his bike, "she's on the third floor." he waved to his friends, immediately running out the parking garage and around to the main doors.
hongjoong sighed, walking along side his friend, cupping his hands around his mouth, "wooyoung! take your helmet off."
yeosang followed behind wooyoung before a crash was heard.
seonghwa sighed, rubbing his temples, "this was not worth it."
yeosang let out a dramatic cry, as wooyoung rubbed the helmet where he ran into the door, "wooyoung! speak to me!"
wooyoung sighed, shaking his head almost cartoonishly, "i'm okay. it's a good thing i'm still wearing my helmet." he wiped a faux bead of sweat from the helmet, shooting finger guns to yeosang.
seonghwa ran his hand over his face, groaning, "this really, really was not worth it." his lazily held his helmet in his other hand, holding it by the bottom piece.
"come on, hwa, cheer up." wooyoung chuckled, buzzing the intercom, "you're such a debby-downer."
seonghwa took a third sigh, "what even is that?"
the intercom echoed, "hello?" a voice full of static hesitated.
"y/n! it's us!" wooyoung spoke cheerfully.
yeosang chuckled, "buzz us in!"
"oh! alright." y/n held the button, a loud buzz emitting from the intercom, and the four entered the building.
compared to the apartment lobby, the four stuck out like a sore thumb, dressed down in all black, two with their helmets still on their head, and the other two holding their helmets under their arm. the jackets rubbing against itself, echoing in the lobby.
wooyoung called the elevator, tapping his foot, "we're already late! i hope they haven't started anything fun."
seonghwa looked at the counter, watching the elevator decrease each floor, blinking slowly just as the elevator opened.
the four stepped inside, and seonghwa immediately occupied the corner of the elevator, his back against the wall.
"nice building," hongjoong complimented, his eyes scanning the elevator, "nice interior."
seonghwa didn't notice that the floor was approaching until he heard a ding and the doors sliding open. wooyoung immediately wandered out staring at his phone as he walked down the hallway, looking up every second to look at the door numbers.
“31, 32... where the hell is 37?” wooyoung cursed.
hongjoong cleared his throat, wandering over to a door, the number decorating the door with Pokémon stickers and some rat seonghwa didn’t recognize.
yeosang cheered, ringing the bell, “y/n! we’re here.” he began to annoyingly knock on the door.
the girl opened the door, a smile crossing her lips, “hi, guys! come in, everyone is watching mingi play parappa.” she chuckled, before quickly turning around to continue watching him play.
“damn it!” mingi cursed, jamming the buttons as the icon passed through, “i swear this stupid flea market stage is annoying.”
the others laughed, before a taller one chuckled, “mingi, you suck. you’re missing all the buttons.”
mingi turned to look at him, a look of both shock and annoyance covering his face, “well, i’m sorry, i’m not a professional gamer like you, yunho. why don’t you take over?”
the one called yunho grabbed the mobile device, starting the stage again, “not a problem. i’ll kill your record.”
hongjoong sat on the seat at the island of the kitchen, seonghwa gently placing his helmet beside him and watched.
wooyoung and yeosang immediately sat on the couch, watching the game.
y/n wandered into the kitchen, “seonghwa, would you like something to drink?”
seonghwa moved into the corner, “no, i’m fine.”
y/n motioned to hongjoong with a bottle of strawberry soda, who only shook his head sweetly.
seonghwa sighed, tapping his foot impatiently. it’s only been 1 minute since he’s been in the apartment, and he was already counting down the seconds before he could leave.
wooyoung cleared his throat, “well, it’s rude to come empty handed, so, this is for our host, y/n.” he opened his backpack and pulled out two full bottles of soju, yogurt soju, to be specific. wooyoung just so happened to stop at the convenience store seonghwa last saw y/n, and took a grueling 10 minutes to decide on what to bring as a gift; a loaf of bread, or the yogurt soju.
y/n accepted the drink, “wow, thank you, guys!” she smiled, “but, in all honesty, i don’t drink very much. only on special occasions.”
yeosang leaned over the top of the couch, smiling, “well, this is a special occasion!” he chuckled, “the commencing of friends!”
y/n smiled, “well, i guess that is a special occasion.” she opened the bottle, “who’d like some?”
the other’s stood up with haste, before y/n tried to slow them, pulling out only three shot glasses, decorated with those pokemon she “loved” so much.
seonghwa couldn’t help the smile that decorated his face as the liquor coursed through his veins, his eyes glassy before he wandered off to where he assumed a guest room was and collapsed on the bed.
he’d worry about it later.

PARK SEONGHWA is a stone-cold, cantankerous punk-rock player. He hates everything about the world, and if he had just one chance, he'd do anything to keep the best thing about the world in his arms; you, the complete opposite of everything he's ever built up to hate.

disabled system asks: 1-4, 10!
1. Is your disability invisible, visible or both?
Both: invisible in the way that there appears to be nothing outwardly wrong with us (as doctors kindly keep reminding me) but visible in the way that we use mobility aids almost all the time. We wear a sunflower lanyard in public, and use a mixture of a cane, crutches and a wheelchair depending on the day.
I wish to add, as someone who has looked able bodied, and disabled in various fonts.. people don’t treat disabled people better if they’re in a wheelchair or visibly ill, and some are arguably worse to young wheelchair users.
2. Do you use mobility aids? If so, what for?
We do! As said above. We have a mixture of issues (ranging from endometriosis to POTS to hEDS to fibromyalgia) that create.. well, a mixture of issues XD. We’ll use the wheelchair on bad pain and fatigue days and carry the crutches.. or, on better days, just use the crutches to take some pressure off our knees, and aid as balance. As cool as our cane looks (photos later), we stopped using it as it was giving us pretty severe hip pain on one side from the way we had to lean to get support from it (still my fav visually though).
3. Is there a specific alter/part/headmate who fronts to deal with pain? How do they manage it?
Yes, that would be me. I split when we were very young to deal with injury, particularly blood. As our chronic pain increased, so did the amount of time I spent fronting, until I slowly became our most common fronter. Sucks though, cuz that was never meant to be my job, I was supposed to stay sitting on the sidelines only appearing to deal with first aid and other protector things. Instead, I’m here, and somehow I make it everyone else’s problem.
My appearance as most common fronter got us outed as a system because I’m so drastically different from the common fronters of the time. {its a little more complicated than that but you get the idea}
I manage it with a combo of pain killers (including medicinal CBD, THC, and flower, pregabalin, panadol, ibuprofen, codeine and morphine amongst other things… happy to answer questions about any of them if you’re curious), dissociation, weaponised tears and sheer fucking willpower… I wish I could say sheer fucking will was still working, but it is not very well anymore. There’s only so much one can deal with, and our pain has been getting steadily worse for the past few years with very little support (most of our illnesses have no cure, only management). We’ve reached the point where our doctors and specialists aren’t sure what to do with us and are wondering if there’s something they have missed…but uh, our tests, bloods and results are coming back clean. Looking into that at the moment lol.
4. Do you experience pain variety based on who’s fronting?
Oh hell, do we ever. Certain members of the system *cough* Kyle *cough* have dreadful pain tolerances - I always know when one of them is cocon because our pain skyrockets into impossible levels, even if I’m trying to keep it under control. Certain other members of our sys have average pain tolerances, some age regress to cope, others just curl up in a ball and sob.. depends on the alter - and the cyclical nature of parts of our pain make it difficult to manage, and to recognise how each alter is affected. Plus, it’s hard to compare pain tolerances when each of us have no other/barely any frame of reference.
10. Do you decorate your aids?
YES. We use a combination of spray paint, cheap nail polish, stickers and in the case of the wheelchair, holders designed for prams and bikes (water bottle holder, clips, bells, reflective stripes etc).. aids start out super boring and for us, decorating them and making them prettier is the only way to make them tolerable. And political - if the government is going to make our life into a political ‘issue’, we will turn right back around and make them aware of our existence ;)
the pic doesn’t grasp it very well, but we painted the chair’s spokes rainbow (and they look super cool when we’re driving it)
Thanks to @disabled-systems for the game <33

Chapter Ten
Tumblr media
We talk and laugh and share stories with each other all the way home, and even though the journey is long and dark, when we arrive at the gates of the holiday park I find myself wishing that we could keep on going, cycle on together until the sun comes up and we’re somewhere far away. As I expected, the lights inside the mobile home are off. In fact, all the lights in all the mobiles are off, and I feel like we must be the only ones in the world who are still awake.
Tumblr media
“What time is it?” I whisper to him as I dismount the bike, my bum and legs sore from where the bars of the pannier holder were digging into me, but I don’t mind. He takes out his phone to look at the time. “It’s half two.”
“Wow, I should really get to bed, and I barely slept last night. I’m so exhausted.”
“You didn’t?”
“No I… I was just wound up from being in Dublin. My mind was racing, it tends to do that.”
“Ah, okay.”
I know that I should be heading for the door by now, but I don’t move. I realise that Jude isn’t getting back on his bike yet either, we’re both kind of standing still in the silence of the park, looking at each other, waiting for the other to speak. I wonder maniacally if he really is going to kiss me right now. My anxiety in the possibility of it is so much that I feel compelled to break the tension and turn away from him. I’d be too scared, even if he tried to. “I better go inside.”
Tumblr media
“Okay” He pauses. “It was nice to hang out with you.”
“Yeah, it was.” I walk up the steps of the deck and try the front door, but it doesn’t open. I search in the pockets of my shorts and realise that I don’t have my keys. “Shit.” I whisper.
“Everything okay?” Jude is still only beginning to mount the bike again, and I shake my head. “I’m locked out.”
“Oh shit.”
“Yeah.”
“And you’re sure you don’t have your keys?”
“Yeah I’m sure, I remember where I left them. They’re in my room.” I can tell that he doesn’t really know what to do, and I don’t either. “Oh, hang on!” I suddenly remember the window to my bedroom, and pray that nobody has locked it since I left for town earlier. I dash back down the front steps and around the side of the building, Jude on my heels.
Tumblr media
“My window.” I whisper to him. “I think I left my window open.” and to my delight I have, it’s open just a little bit, but it’s enough for me to squeeze my fingers under the frame and push it upwards. “I’m in” I say. And again, we hesitate there in front of the open window. His lips part as though he’s going to say something to me, but then decides against it. I know logically that he’s only hanging around still because he’s nice, nothing deeper. I know all about the hierarchy system in dating, and he is far too hot for me.
“Do you want a glass of water?” I hear myself saying. “You must be tired from cycling all that way.” and to my surprise he nods. “Yeah that’d actually be really nice.”
“Okay, so do you want to come in?”
“If that’s okay with you.”
Tumblr media
I climb in the window to my bedroom first and he clambers in after me. I quickly kick a small pile of dirty clothes that I’d forgotten to tidy up under one of the beds before he can see it. If I’d known there’d be a boy coming over I might have cleaned the place up for once.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Okay, stay here.” I instruct, and as he sits down on the edge of my bed I creep out into the kitchen to grab him a drink. My head is spinning a bit. I can’t explain what compelled me to invite him inside, or understand what compelled him to actually come in. What are we going to do now? Read magazines and play Snake on his phone?
Tumblr media
When I come back to my bedroom I find him looking through a stack of books on my nightstand and I feel immediately self conscious. “What are you doing?”
“Just looking at your books, is that okay?”
“They’re not interesting books, just silly romance novels and stuff.”
“If you like reading them then who cares.” I hand him his glass of water and sit next to him on the bed. “I know I should be reading the classics.” I say, because I feel I have to defend myself. “But I tried to read Catch 22 a couple of months ago and I thought it was bad.”
“Really? I like that book.”
“Oh well, it’s not really bad, that’s not what I meant, it-”
“It’s okay, it wasn’t for you. It’s fine to not be into something.” He looks amused by my rush to explain myself, but I still feel silly for saying it. Who am I, with a stack of books with pastel coloured spines and looping cursive text on the covers, to say that a Joseph Heller book is bad? What the hell is wrong with me? I want to slap myself across the face.
Tumblr media
He puts the glass on the bedside table and reaches out for a book bound in black linen, and I reflexively grab it out of his hands. “You can’t see this.”
He looks perplexed. “Why not? What is it?”
“It’s personal.”
“What, like your secret diary?”
“No! Not like that. It’s none of your business.”
He smirks, “It’s your sketchbook.”
I say nothing, because he’s right, and it is my sketchbook, I just desperately don’t want him peeping inside it. It’s fine if Claire or Kelly look, because they’re not artists. Jude on the other hand, probably has that critical eye and the ability to spot a million tiny things that are wrong with my drawings. I know in my heart, without ever having seen a single thing he’s made or drawn, that he’s more talented than I am. It’s just written all over him.
“Oh, come on, let me see it, it’s no big deal.”
“No.”
“Why?”
“Because it’s messy. My work is messy.”
“Uh, yeah, like all sketchbooks. I’m just curious about it, please.” He holds out his hands for it as though I don’t have a choice to give it to him, he has decided.
“I don’t want you to judge me.” I admit.
“But why would I do that?”
“Because you’re a real artist, I’m just… a hobbyist.”
“I’m not a real artist either.”
“The people at that Berlin art school you’re going to would disagree.”
He rolls his eyes. “You’re saying all this based on nothing. I’ll show you my sketchbook sometime and you’ll see. You don’t turn into a prodigy just because you get accepted into art college.”
I sigh. “Okay, but you’re not allowed to be mean.”
“I’d never.”
Tumblr media
I finally relinquish it and he slips it out of my hands. “If you secretly think it’s shit I’ll know, I’m really good at reading faces.” I say.
“I bet you are.”
He flips open the front cover and I’m immediately filled with dread as he carefully examines each page, leafing through it while saying absolutely nothing. His face is blank. I feel itchy, I don’t want to look at him observing my work. Eventually he points to a group of drawings I’d done while on the beach one windy morning. Just a woman walking her dog, her hair caught up in the wind and her slight lean against it. They’re quick gestural studies, little sketches I didn’t even have time to finish before she was out of sight, and to me they are hopelessly ordinary.
“These are really good.” He says. “The way you captured the movement. You can tell that she’s resisting the wind here, there’s great weight to it.”
It must be the most artistic observation I’ve heard of any of my artwork, so I smile. “Thank you, I’m trying to get better at drawing things that are moving. I got too comfortable drawing still things, and then got way too focused on the details. Like my cat.” I flip the pages back to the beginning of the sketchbook to show him a page of studies of our family pet Ruby. “See, she was sleeping, so I felt like I had time to draw every little thing. Like all the individual hairs end everything. I got way too caught up with it.”
“I like these too though, I get what you’re saying about there being a lot of detail, but I dunno, it still works for me. I think the linework is really sensitive. I think you’re a really good artist, like, everything in here is honestly great.”
I blush. “Really? You don’t have to say it just to be nice.”
“I’m not! I really think that.”
He looks genuinely sincere to the point that it makes me squirm, and I bashfully swipe the sketchbook from his lap and stow it away under the bed in case he tries to look at it again, or, God forbid, say something else nice to me.
“You’ll have to show me your work now.” I deflect “This is a transaction that works both ways.” He nods. “Yeah, I will. The next time you’re over at the beach house I’ll show you what I’ve been working on.”
“I bet it’s unreal.”
“Don’t hold your breath. Not as good as yours.”
I snort. “As if, I bet I’ll look in your sketchbooks and they’ll look like DaVinci did them.”
“Well if you think that I promise you’ll be disappointed.”

Based heavily on the song Here I Am by Bryan Adams. Requested by ArtisticNinjaCat, I hope that meets all your expectations.
Marinette has been weighed down by what everyone else expects her to be. She is done and she is gone. Now she has a new home away from everyone that knew her.
Marinette stepped off the plane into the dark smog filled city and just breathed. She was here, in Gotham, finally. Her smile brightened and she started to walk to the entrance. She felt lighter, more Marinette than she had in years. No more Hawkmoth, no more Lila weighing her down. She was free, free to travel and disappear, free from expectations, free to just be.
She made her way to long term parking so she could grab her bike and finally go home. She se used her helmet than opened her bag slightly to see Tikki place on her own tiny helmet. “Just us now, you ready?”
Tikki gave a tiny nod and Marinette secured her bag. It was a matter of seconds before she was flying, her taillight trailing like scarlet butterflies, she was free.
Her smile impossibly widened as she flew through the dark streets. There was just something joyous in the knowledge that this was a new city. New people, new experiences and no pre-set expectations on who or what she should be. She could make all her dreams come true, she could figure out what her dreams actually are.
She knew Gotham’s reputation, but even here in the dark there was light. She passed young couples, teens playing, families out for supper, just people living. They weren’t hiding, they weren’t suppressed by fear, they just were, breaking the expectations put on them from the outside.
She was pulled out of these thoughts as she finally arrived home. Her home, just her’s… and the kwami’s. Tikki flew out excited to inspect everything. “What’s the plan Marinette?”
“First I am going to secure the miracle box and let everyone else out. After that, who knows.” She shrugged slightly, “That’s the beauty of freedom, we don’t need to plan, we can just exist.”
She spun in a circle, laughing before falling over. “For the first time I can learn who Marinette is. Not having a set plan is part of that. Like, do I enjoy making clothes enough to become a designer or was that just something I did because it is what everyone wanted and expected from me. Maybe I prefer making toys, or maybe I would rather be an engineer, maybe I prefer painting, or running an art gallery. It is a new start Tikki and I don’t think I have ever felt more alive. I know I have never been more sure that this is where I belong.”
Tikki smiled at her holder turned best friend, “Then what are we waiting for?”
“Absolutely nothing. There is nothing in my way anymore.” Her stomach growled loudly causing both her and Tikki to giggle. “Maybe we should go for food first, I think we passed a café a couple streets over.”
Tikki giggled and floated over with her keys. They were free and couldn’t be happier.
As always I wrote this on a mobile with no beta and constructive criticism is appreciated.
