A sneak peek of the yarnbombed horse! I can hardly wait for opening day! 🥳 Miss Mary Re got fresh blue floral eyes today and an incredibly luscious flowing mane made with @lionbrandyarn that would make a Pantene model jealous. 😋💙 Tomorrow she‘ll get a new tail, legs, crochet grass for her new platform (thanks Junk Bonanza!), fancy hooves, a saddle blanket, some embroidery, and then I get to sew on all the beautiful flowers that you lovely people donated! If your flowers haven’t arrived yet, no stress. My current #WIP. 💙 I’m using Elena 100% cotton yarn by Master Knits to make a lightweight but super cozy AC Shawl. I originally picked the yarn based off the colors but now I’m more obsessed with the texture than anything else. 💖 I’m torn between loving the knitting process and desperately wanting to be finished so I can wear it! Knit & Crochet Stores at MOA has swapped out their winter yarns for a large colorful selection of summer yarns. The Elena here is just the tip of the summer yarn iceberg. Re the yarnbombed horse was on display today at @canterburypark for @junkbonanza! It felt so good to see my girl after a year. She's still lookin lovely as ever and just as soft (I definitely gave her a hug). If you haven't seen this pretty mare yet she'll be on display at Junk Bonanza tomorrow from 9am-5pm however yours truly will be at Yarnover! It will be my first year at #Yarnover and I'm very excited. A video recap of my fabulous time at @vogueknitlive. I was honored to come back as a featured artist this year.
