Thank you all for responding. I wanted to compare and contrast how vampires work in your different universes. I asked the question to all of you at the same time, because even though three of you have universes inspired by one another, I wanted to see if you would come up with different ideas.

If it is alright with all of you, I would like to do this again in the future. Focusing on aspects of vampiredom that aren't explored in any or most of your stories. Though, I will space them out, so I won't overload you.

If any of you want me to stop, I will stop. I could also add Cat & Mouse, since I believe it is in the same universe as Shattered, Kane & Jim, and MM/SS.

Excellent, we are all making the rounds talking about vampire babies today.

I have a scene planned for the MMSS sequel where the gang gets to meet a baby vampire, which takes an interest in Ari. She (begrudgingly) lets Lex talk her into letting the baby do that thing babies do where they curl their whole little baby hand around your finger, except the baby then breaks her finger and doesn't let go. They're in public and don't want to make a scene so they have to try and pry the baby off without just ripping them off and making them cry.

Do vampires have breasts in your universe? Do vampire infants drink milk? Are they utterly defenceless like human babies starting out?

What are vampires like as infants?

vampires do have breasts, but they're more an inherited trait from human ancestors. vampires do not produce milk, and vampire infants do not drink milk. infants are born with two tiny fangs (no other teeth) and drink blood straight from birth!

vampire infants are somewhat less defenseless than human infants, physically speaking. they do have the little fangs, and they're significantly stronger than human infants (though not nearly as strong as older vampires). they are also, like all vampires, semi-immortal and have supernatural healing. however, their mental capacity is the same as human infants and they can't walk or run or anything, nor can they use persuasion, so they certainly can't fend for themselves. parents gotta bring them the blood!

i did an rp once where kane ended up having kids, and his son bit and started feeding from kane's human friend like minutes after being born, lol. just right outta the womb CHOMP

AU Summary for my Magic Madness Sadness AU (MMS AU)

This is MMSS (Magic Madness Sadness Simon) aka "Whitey"

He used to be just like canon AT Simon, but in this AU Golb didn't fully revert him back to normal, leaving behind a tiny, unstable bit of magic inside him which grows in strength over time in its attempt to stabilize itself.

At first it wasn't apparent that Simon still had any magic in him, but then the changes began...

After a dream in which Cosmic Owl appeared to him, Simon found himself able to fly again at random times.

Then his hair began to change color, bit by bit, until it was purely white once again.

His wizard eyes returned and became worse than ever before, showing him not only the creatures of the spirit realm, but also illusions of every kind and ever-changing colors to the point where he can't trust what he sees without someone else's confirmation.

Due to the rapid growth and unstable nature of Simon's leftover magic he finds it neigh impossible to control, which becomes a major problem once he develops his wind powers, accidentally causing tornadoes that grow in strength just as his magic does.

Simon is scared and constantly looking for a way to stop what's happening to him. He has no idea how far his changes will go, all he knows is that it's different than when he first changed into the Ice King and that only adds to his worries...

His teeth have grown sharp again...

He's losing his sanity, if not from MMS, then at least from what he's going through...

And if he doesn't figure out how to stop or control his powers soon, his tornadoes will eventually threaten to destroy all of Ooo...

Desperate Daybreak

Hi everyone, I'm very excited to announce my plans for the sequel to Magnanimous Moonrise & Savage Sunset!

It's called Desperate Daybreak and will honestly be more of a suspense novel than a whump story, BUT it will still have plenty of emotion, drama, angst, and hurt/comfort so I think everyone who liked MMSS will really enjoy it. I'm drafting the first chapter and expect to maybe start posting sometime in the next week.

I've decided to refresh the taglist, so I'm using the MMSS taglist to notify everyone.

Remembering Seventeen's age order is a whole ass chore okay so this is how I break it down:

Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Jisoo: This just makes sense. They are the eldest three and it isn't too tough to remember for me

Junhui: He's the oldest of the '96 liners but for some reason he's his own category in my mind and I think it has to do with the alliteration (he's the third J)

Soonyoung, Wonwoo, Woozi: Hoshi's the oldest of the next category in my brain (again it's technically jun idk man), then Wonwoo gives off strong middle child energy. Then Woozi is the annoyed youngest brother of what I consider the older-middle-child group

Seokmin, Mingyu, Minghao: (This one is tough to remember for me because I initially learned their order off the Maestro fanchant where Seokmin and Minghao swapped bc Minghao wanted to be eighth !!) THE MIDDLE CHILDREN ! IT'S A SANDWICH. S-M-M-(S, for Seungkwan). In my mind Seungkwan is the start of the maknae line and Seokmin is the first of the middle children and they have Mingyu and Minghao squished between them. I just have to remember that Minghao is the last member before the maknaes.

Seungkwan, Hansol, Chan: Maknaes. Seungkwan's the end of the SMMS section and Chan is the youngest so Vernon's the middle !

K&J x MMSS Wolfwalkers AU bc I have brainrot In this AU the boys are around 12 or so. Instead of being a hunter like Robyn, in this AU Valen is herbalist’s apprentice who wanders into the woods in search of ingredients and runs into Kane.

Kane has been alone with the pack for a while and is excited to meet someone who doesn’t threaten him with a crossbow.

I have some ideas of who their guardians could be and how it would change the dynamic between the town and the wolves, but I haven’t decided anything yet.
