i decided to go ahead and make the next au in the sf9 as series and well, as a gamer i couldn’t resist! the quotes come from various games i play/played and serve as the inspiration for this au!

Youngbin - Paladin // sword and shield

“The Paladin was born to lead, as well as protect those who cannot fend for themselves.”

With pride and honor, Youngbin leads his brothers in every battle. He is the first one on the battlefield and the last to leave. Armed with only a sword and shield, Youngbin would suffer blow after blow until his last dying breath if it meant protecting his loved ones.

Inseong - Mage // staff

“Anyone who dares cross the Mage will be at the mercy of the world’s primal forces.”

With knowledge and wisdom, Inseong manipulates the forces of nature to aid his brothers. Magic runs in his veins, and all the elements dance at his fingertips, allowing him to wreak havoc on his enemies, but don’t be fooled, because the only thing stopping Inseong from devastating the battlefield is the ruby staff he uses to channel his magic.

Jaeyoon - Bard // harp

“Bards can unleash songs to harm or heal, ensuring they’ll always be called on for an encore.”

With passion and spirit, Jaeyoon aids those in their time of dying. The melodies from his handheld harp mends the wounds of his brothers, allowing them to fight once more and live another day; the same melodies that can shatter enemies and render them powerless.

Dawon - Hunter // warbow

“Graced with stealth and razor sharp vision, the Hunter silences with one shot.”

With precision and accuracy, Dawon covers his brothers’ blindspots. Using a warbow infused with magic, Dawon can rapid fire arrows made of pure energy to dispose of enemies. Dawon enjoys playing with his prey, and once you’re in his sights there’s no escape; like a mouse under a cat’s paw.

Zuho - Ronin // katana

With patience and focus, Zuho strikes down his foes before they can even take a breath. Rowoon - Dragoon // polearms

With determination and power, Rowoon fights on the frontlines, standing by his leader’s side to shield their brothers. A fierce and loyal warrior, Rowoon uses his lance to strike from above with the power of a thousand soldiers; a power so feared that some truly believe the spirit of a dragon resides in his heart and soul.

Taeyang - Gunslinger // dual pistols

“Gunslingers serve no one but themselves. Combining blinding agility with unerring aim, they’re always one step ahead of their enemies.”

With instinct and speed, Taeyang rains hell on all those who get in his way. Much like Zuho, Taeyang had originally ran solo, but now his trigger finger is ready to fire on anyone or anything deemed a threat to his brothers. Armed with pistols loaded with enchanted bullets, his shots can freeze or burn an enemy on impact, but that’s only if his traps don’t get them first.

Hwiyoung - Brawler // katars

“Darting and weaving in and out of the fight, Brawlers will carve up any foe who can’t keep up blow for blow.”

With strength and diligence, Hwiyoung moves throughout the battlefield swiftly, a trail of corpses in his wake as he fights alongside his brothers. With reflexes that none can match, Hwiyoung can deliver five strikes before the first one is even registered. He is unrivaled when it comes to close combat, and the glint of light reflecting off his blood covered blades is all his foes get to see as their life fades away.

Chani - Occultist // spellbook

With intellect and insight, Chani uses dark magic to cause mischief, fooling his enemies. While he lives to tease and annoy his brothers, Chani would do anything to repay the kindness they have showed him.
