Project Sekai Character Tournament - Round 9

Minori Hanasato

When Minori was a child, she would often have bad luck. After one particular day, when she dropped the baton during a race at school, Minori stayed home out of guilt and fear that her classmates would be angry at her. She then saw Haruka from ASRUN, singing solo on TV. Minori was encouraged by Haruka's words that "Tomorrow will always be a better day", and has been a fan of Haruka ever since. Like her longtime inspiration, Minori also set her sights on becoming an idol. She has tried her hand at over 50 auditions, but failed every single one. Despite this, she never gave up and continued to try in order to achieve her dream.

While practicing on her school's roof, she met Haruka, who, along with Airi and Shizuku, help her train to become a fully fledged idol. Thanks to Minori's positive and hardworking nature, she inspires hope in the other former idols and they form MORE MORE JUMP! together.

Minori has a younger brother who is currently in elementary school. She also owns a pet Samoyed named Samo-chan.

As a first year, Minori was classmates with Shiho and Kohane in class 1-A and a member of the Animal Care committee. As a second year, she is part of the Miyamasuzaka's credit course alongside Haruka.

An Shiraishi

An is a cool and candid girl with an unyielding spirit. She acts very affectionate towards her close friends, and is very kind and forgiving. She leaves a strong impression on others and is hard to forget. An encourages those around her to be the best they can. However, her and Akito often bicker due to their long-standing rivalry.

When An is part of the disciplinary committee at Kamiyama, she gets nervous when asking someone to follow the rules, getting shaky and stuttering when asking someone to tuck in their shirt.

Shizuku - pansexual, nonbinary

I still headcanon Haruka as unlabelled when it comes to her specific sexuality, but I think the labels closest would be bi or omni with a preference for fem-aligned people! Shizuku I think would also have a preference for fem-aligned people, but he uses the label pansexual because it's more well known & she just likes it better.

I think Haruka would also vibe with the labels genderfluid & bigender but that would be a lot of flags to put on there & I think she would just prefer to simply use nonbinary. He's the kind of person I think wouldn't really care about labelling himself too much - unlike me who uses as many microlabels as possible, lol.

Also I projected a lot on Minori bc she's my fave & I kin her... especially with the fibro headcanon, it would probably be unlikely for an idol to have fibro but I really like the idea of bun managing to achieve buns dream despite her condition!! and I like thinking of other chronically ill & disabled ppl getting really inspired by her...

these are super fun to make!! im probably gonna do N25 next and then WxS... I'll eventually do L/N & VBS after I read more of their stories. I'm also going to eventually draw up appearance headcanons! I'm actually thinking about getting into making edits because they look so fun.

Haruka hc:

Haruka is a good cook due to learning from competing with An, so mmj eventually does a cooking stream where Haruka makes something restaurant-worthy. Eventually, the fans pester her into making a semi-regular segment where she either makes something new or cooks with someone. Guests include: An, Toya (who is TERRIBLE at it), Honami (in a baking day), and Kanade (who was recommended by Honami and DESPRATELY needs the skills.)
