Review:

He's the young Italian chauffeur who dreams about becoming a star and they're the power couple who offer him a deal of a lifetime.... fame, romance. and everything his heart could ever desire.... it's almost too good to be true. This is one of the most enticing, swoonworthy MMF romances I've ever read, I was literally gasping and clutching my pearls at every page. It's a sexy read that captures you from the first chapter and has you gripped until the last page and even then this ends on a cliffhanger that has you BEGGING for book two. Giana has a way of writing that perfectly captives and draws you in. The dynamic and relationship between the three characters was so interesting and I can't wait to see it further fleshed out in the second book. I was so engrossed in this book I literally stayed up until 5 am to finish it. I simply could not put this book down for even a second. The drama, the spice, please please please let me read that second book and inject it into my veins. I will absolutely be recommending this book to everyone!! This book will have you screaming and kicking your feet while also punching the air and crying. I loved every second of this book and need the second one in the duology immediately!!

Thanks Orbit Books and Netgalley for providing me with an e-ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I want to start by saying that I did thoroughly enjoy this book which is reflected in my rating. That’s largely down to the characters and their relationships to each other, in all honesty.

I adored Shan, Samuel and Isaac so, so much, and their relationships with each other, the budding romance between all three of them, the lust and love and confusion and uncertainty. All of it was so enticing and captivating and I was hooked on this throuple. Each of these characters were so different from each other, all had different sets of morals and ambitions even if their end goals aligned.

While the overall plot is interesting, I felt the pacing was all over the place. There were stretches where I was getting bored and then parts where so much happened so quickly it gave me whiplash. I also just felt a little let down by the writing style. It wasn’t bad by any means, I just wanted a bit more polish, I guess.

I do recommend this book, especially if you’re looking for something diverse and a little different.

Synopsis 📜: Morgan and Fox are happily married and have a very playful physical relationship but they both know something is missing. Nathan is unsatisfied with all aspects of his life. He quits his job and heads to his sister’s to celebrate Christmas with his family when he spins off the road during a snow storm. He is reduced by Morgan and Fox who nurse him back to health in more ways than one.

Personal Thoughts 🤔: This is my second Kayla Grosse book and she has most certainly gained a new forever reader! The spice is off the charts between Morgan, Fox, and Nathan but the back stories are what sold it for me in this book. They all have past issues that brought them to where they are creating a connection that is built to last. I loved how Kayla showed Nathan adjusting to the idea that this Poly relationship is what he’s been looking for and missing from all of his past relationships. It wasn’t rushed or taken lightly, he sees what they have and what he can bring to the table and takes a chance and I love that for these three characters!

I'm really enjoying Sara Cate's Give Me More as a triad romance, and there is a very strong "Tell the world we're bros" (whispers) "we're bros"/"you're my world, bro" element to it that we frankly need more of in the romance community

I was looking at ebooks for free on amazon when I saw a familiar name, but I couldn't remember what of theirs I had read or where I recognized the name from.

I knew it hadn't been a paper book, so I whipped out my spreadsheet I'm currently using for tracking ebooks and...they weren't on their either. Then I checked my OLD document that I need to integrate with my new spreadsheet that was romance-only and specifically just to track authors, not specific titles, and...not there either.

WHERE did I know their name from?

I finally caved and searched their name, to discover that I had somehow forgotten that they, under the same name, wrote the WORST book I've ever genuinely enjoyed. A book which is truly The Phantom of the Paradise of contemporary romance novels with M/F+M/M+M/F/F elements.

I did not purchase this one because I hated one of their other books I read on a lark, hoping to have a similar amount of "stare at the wall for 5 minutes in secondhand embarrassment," but it simply did not work for me and I don't even remember if I finished reading it.

Personal Thoughts 🤔: All three main characters in this book go through a lot of growth, healing, and moving on with each other. Cade and Declan have been dancing around their feelings for each other for years but as soon as Mel comes into their lives, things seem to click into place. Their chemistry jumps off the page and the spicy scenes were panty melting. But my favorite part is that Mel’s song-writing block isn’t healed as soon as she sleeps with these two men but when she stands up for herself and moves on from her horrible family to make sure she gets the life she deserves!

AFITN is a sweet story of a Vampire looking for companionship and the Couple that fall into his lap. the three grow to know each other, emotionally (and physically) and commit to a comforting eternity together.

I found the Characters to be rather well developed for such a short story, and enjoyed getting to know each of them and their escapades. The romance between Leon and Matthias is sweet, while at times Matthias is hard to read hew turned into a wonderful character and caregiver for his partners. We get to follow leon on his journey of self dicovery as he explored his interests for Men and how he comes to love one dearly. Lastly, while loved Claire and wished we could have seem more from her perspective.

Now what I didn't care for in this story was the first few chaptewrs, the setup. it took a while to get into a place that felt normal. the writing style felt a bit forced and at times didnt seem to be edited well. there are some punctuation errors in the book, but if that doesnt bother you think youll have a ghood time with with little romp.

It’s time to head back to Ella Frank’s spicy Chicagoverse! In the latest installment of the Confessions series, we meet Ethan and Zayne, who become enamored with young, inexperienced Chloè. Spicy D/s play ensues and the men begin to fall quickly for the red-haired beauty.

I always think the dynamic of a twosome looking for a third (rather than a brand new throuple) is interesting but it worked well in the case of Ethan, Zayne and Chloè. I do wish Chloè was a bit older but I understand it plays into her naive novice character. The book left off on a slight cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next installment!
