The elf parted ways with the sets of twins, a certain portion of the decorations having caught her eye. Surely there was evidence somewhere here, but where? Not everything is in plain sight, and if these events are being caused by something paranormal or by an enemy Stand user, then something would be hidden amidst the room.

Above the coffin decor, an occultish skull is mounted on the wall. The elf eyes the decoration, looking back to the pumpkins, to the stone fixtures, and then back to the skull.

"Hm... something just doesn't seem right about this."

Kikumi eyed the skull further, noticing how it didn't match the other Halloween decorations in terms of quality. While the pumpkins and the stonework and candles were beautifully crafted, they clearly were fake if you looked hard enough. This mounted skull, however, almost could pass as being real...

Gosh I didn't mean to be THIS late on this. I forgot I have physical therapy when I got off work, and then my mother wanted to go to the store. Thankfully its here though! My brain is currently soup and I have one ask atm, I will answer tomorrow. ><

The group of girls arrive at the building the party is taking place in. They share a look between eachother, acknowledging the importance of this investigation. Rose speaks up, turning her head to look at her sister.

"Ok. We will separate for now and each do our own investigations. We'll meet up back here later and share the information we've gathered. Shanna, you're with me."

"As the older twin, I should be saying that."

"Give it a rest, will you?"

As soon as they speak and separate, a woman dressed in cosplay emerges, flashing the twins a peace sign. "Rose! Is that you? You brought your twin sister? You both look amazing!! I'm so glad you could make it!"

"Nanami-san, it's good to see you. I'm happy to of made it. Your Miku cosplay looks wonderful." "Really? Thank you so much!"

"Moreover, there's actually something that's kind of bothering me that I'd like to bring up with you." "Yes?" "I appreciate the invitation, and the extra invites you allowed me to have. But is now really the time for a party? There's been disappearances happening in this neighborhood recently. Surely you're aware?"

Keeping a hand on her hip, the Miku cosplayer responds, "Of course I'm aware... I actually threw this party because everyone's nerves are on high alert, and I was hoping this could help cheer everyone up and help them to stop worrying for awhile. Also... strength in numbers, yes? It's safer to be in groups like this."

The older twin dressed in red chimes in. "That makes sense to me." She holds her hands up, tilting her head. "I'm sorry to bother you with more questions but... have you by chance heard anymore rumors?"

"Heard anymore?" The other woman raises a finger to her bottom lip in thought...then she too, tilts her head, eyebrows upturning in worry. "Wait, why? Are you actually trying to investigate this? That's dangerous! You should leave it to the cops!"

"Oh. No, not at all." Shanna lies. "We just merely want to make sure nothing else has happened as of late. I mean... sure we look pretty composed but in all honesty, we're worried too. The cops haven't found out much themselves yet, and are just ruling things a missing persons case..."

Nanami stares for a moment before speaking up once more. "I haven't really heard anything new that you two wouldn't already know, but I have heard that people have seen a mysterious, winged creature at night recently. Like... it's humanoid shaped but it has wings? It's just like... wandering around and then it takes off flying into the night sky. It's just another silly Halloween rumor though, we get those every year."

Rose blinks. It sounds like nonsense but perhaps she should remember this for later, just in case. "Thank you, Nanami-san. Sorry for the questions, we didn't mean to make you uneasy."

"Oh, it's ok. You two have fun, ok? Don't separate! Safety in numbers!"

"Right."

Kazuno gazes among the crowd, eyes narrowing, her sister giving her a confused stare. "I can't see the end of the horizon."

"HATSUNE MIKU!?"

A Year of Khaos: 2023 Review

Welp. 2023 is officially over and we're onto another year. I wanted to put together some kind of year in review thing and since I didn't get a chance to do it during my final stream of the year, I thought I'd just put it all together into a blog post. So here's an overall look at the year:

2023 was my "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" year in an attempt to really feel out what I wanted to do with streaming. So my plan was to pick a Thing for each month, really go all-in on it for the month, and make something focused around that by the end. Then change for the next month, rinse and repeat.

I've always been a Jack-of-all-Trades, which is as much a blessing as it is a curse. I CAN do just about anything if I decide I want to do it, but that also means there's no One Thing I'm really good at. The only One Thing I have is something that's borderline impossible to stream, which is writing. So... Project Year. Try everything, see what sticks.

In addition to the projects I was working on throughout the year, I was also working on the 3.0 model at the same time. Throughout the entire year. Which, I came to realize was kind of a mistake trying to do both. I just barely got the model done in time because my time was so heavily split between so many things. Especially when you add that I was ALSO still editing videos for Youtube all the way until September. (which was a full 12-hour day, twice a week) So I was working on completely rebuilding my models from scratch in a program I was wildly unfamiliar with (blender), doing a new project every month, streaming 3x's a week (usually upwards of 6 hours), AND editing 12-hours a day twice a week to post 2 videos and 2 shorts every week.

It was... a lot.

Last year was a lot.

Too much. Even for me.

There were even a few more things on the list that I wanted to try out this year, but ended up not being able to figure out how to stream it. Baking, for example.

But I'm hoping to find something I can really focus on for the coming year and lessen at least some of my constant uncertainty about what I'm doing with life. And maybe ease up on the work, in general. If I was awake, I was working last year. I was so burnt out and exhausted by the time December rolled around, I had no energy left for my biggest event of the year. Honestly, I'm still exhausted. I wanted to get this post out ages ago but I just had no energy to write it.

I need to ease up a bit next year. Figure out what I actually want to do. But I feel like I have a slightly better handle. Maybe.

We'll see how it goes.

As a final note, here's a list of every game I played throughout 2023, which was honestly a lot. I try to finish as many games as I can, especially the horror games, with the exception of co-op games or sims. Some unfinished games (like Hollow Knight and A Hat in Time) I plan to finish at some point. Others, like Digimon Survive, I've decided to drop for good. Whereas yet others, I'll probably finish on my own as an off-stream game. (Slime Rancher 2 I'll probably play by myself but I've played through Ni no Kuni like 3 times in the past so I'm fine leaving that one where it was).

My horror game backlog is massive so Indie Horror Nights are guaranteed to return in 2024. Obviously. Horror is kind of a thing. Variety Night is also guaranteed to return because I like having a day where I can just do what-the-fuck-ever.

However, I don't know if Project Night will be a set thing in the future. Additionally, I'm considering adding a fourth stream day but I haven't committed to the idea yet. I want to get back to fashion design but I don't think I'll be picking the seasonal collections back up for this year. Maybe just do themed outfit sets, instead. I may also try making them in blender instead of VRoid this year, as well.

There are a lot of decisions to be made about 2024 still.

I'm not sure what I want out of this coming year yet. But thank you to everyone who puts up with my perpetual indecisiveness, there will be more in the future.

Here's to a new year and new possibilities.

Okay so. Inspired by an MMD I saw not too long ago but it's stuck in my head now and I NEED to talk to someone about it so.

Consider how 1) each SEKAI is extremely in tune with the feelings of the people who created it, 2) items can be made manifest in SEKAI via feelings (i.e. the marionette in the empty SEKAI), 3) these items can have SENTIENCE (the plushies in Wonderland SEKAI), and 4) these sentient beings are implied to be affected by negative thought (the cat and dog plushies fighting more once Rui and Tsukasa have their argument during the Halloween event).

So. Imagine that someone with a lot of pent up negative emotions could potentially create something in the SEKAIs symbolizing all those secret issues they aren't bringing up with people because they have to be the self-confident leader and have to be entertaining and performing for peoples smiles at all times! Imagine that something gains sentience, maybe even takes those feelings out on the creator...

Basically. Imagine shadow selves/doppelgangers in SEKAI. Imagine especially Tsukasa having to acknowledge his many traumas that SEGA KEEPS HINTING AT BUT NOT DIGGING INTO in front of this shadow version of him and the rest of wxs.

[MMD] Post-Halloween on Wacky House Members

So this is what happened a day after Halloween. All Wacky House members are having something on a different lounge elsewhere, telling others what they did or got for Halloween.

Allister, Gogo, and Bea's story. Gogo: Allister! What did you got? A love letter? Bea: Is it Acerola? Allister:...yes. Bea: Sweet. So what does it say? Allister: Umm... just asking me out as well as giving me her bags of candies inside. Gogo: Sweet! Sounds like you really had fun with her last night. Bea: Yeah! Allister, you would be happy to find a girl who shares similar hobbies. Allister: Yeah... just she speaks more than I do. Gogo: I know you don't talk much to new friends, but seeing how you both are ghost type leaders, it's a very common thing to talk to each other about. Allister: Really? Bea: Oh yes! It's just like how I had common talking to Greta, my best friend, and also Korrina, sweet-loving fighting gym leader. I'm sure you got this on your day with Acerola. Allister: Thanks! Bea: Yeah, I just played as a ninja warrior, as I dressed as one. Gogo: It was easy. I played as Nikki from 6teen. Bea: Ooh nice! Allister: Sweet! You both fit in actually.

Ash and D.VA's story. D.VA: I got a lot of EXP candies last night and chose my Cruise outfit. Ash: Cool! Well those are candy. D.VA: Yep, filling my EXP. Also, they have sound system right by us. Ash: Oh! What you want to do? D.VA: Play my favorite BGM, as it's a party here on post-halloween timeline. Ash: Sounds great! D.VA: But also, I met lots of Mercy, Sombras, Tracer, Widowmaker, Sigma, Lucio, and Baptiste cosplayers, so it was a pleasure to meet them. Ash: Brilliant! I just dressed up as Red. Wow so long since I wore a Red outfit. Although I wore his original costume instead of from the one I used to wear in my early days. D.VA: Oh! FRLG one! Ash: Yep, but I tried his RBY one. D.VA: Yep I saw it. By the way, I showed them my wepaons as they found it cool. I didn't use any ammos, but just have it in my inventory. Ash: Great!

Adult Alix and Konata's story. Konata: Oops! That was loud. Alix: Oh my! That's embarrassing. Konata: Sorry! I just had it go right through me. Alix: Phew! That's stinking up here. Konata: I must've ate too many candies earlier. Oh and I even got a burrito during Trick or Treating. Must've got a lot of beans. Alix: Really? They were handing out burritos in halloween? Konata: Yeah. On one place where some guy and girl were handing those out as well as bubble gums. Alix: Wow! Well, just be careful of how much you eat then. Konata: Sure. By the way, I was playing as Mona from Genshin Impact! Alix: Oh nice! I was playing as Molly from Oban Star Racers. Easy because she almost look like me. Konata: Oh yeah!! Funny lol.

Robbie Rotten and Tawna's story. Robbie: Oh my, Konata! Konata: Just excuse me, had ate more candies and a burrito. (Tawna appears next to him) Tawna: Hey Robbie! It was totally fun last night! Robbie: Oh yes! We really did well as pirates! Tawna: I agree! It's so fun going around and play You Are A Pirate song! Robbie: Ah, yes! A song that never gets old. So fresh to play when our pirate time is up! Tawna: Yep! And after all, it was the reason why a lot of people handed candies to us for support. Robbie: Ohh yes! It's such great to performing on a fitting event. Tawna: Yep. Maybe in Thanksgiving, we can do hot potato event. Robbie: Sure!

Rina's story. Rina: Heh! I never thought I get to walk around as a mermaid! Wow! Madame Taki put out a great spell on me that allowed me to walk with my tail, in ground. Well, that was a great way to go trick or treating. But, I even like to take pics of myself as a mermaid with my shell and fish tail. That raised my PokeGram's likes and comments. Such a sweet success! Even Lucia and Hanon are shocked by my halloween night! They say how shocking. lol.

Miruko's story. Miruko: Hello peeps! I'm Miruko! Also known as Rumi Usagiyama! I got bags of candies around, while going out as Miruko. Got lots of love and even flex around. It's been fun last night with all the costumes and candies. I even got avocados from Milo. Not only that, but I met up with Momo and Tsuyu. Oh and can't forget Izuku either. It was a fun night and now all of us are chilling here, sharing our stuffs from halloween.

Back from unannounced hiatus much- Took a VERY long break of 3d modeling~ Lots of things happened in my life that I just couldn't figure out a perfect moment to actually finish a model- 

BUT I had this model for over a year and decided, you know what? I want to actually finish this. ITS TECHNICALLY STILL HALLOWEEN IN MY TIME SO pretend it still is- Anyways I had lost interest in Obey Me not only cause the game isn't that appealing to me, but I had a negative event that happened in the community which made me have a break. BUT if you want one of the models, do hit me up as my requests are open~ I'll accept it if there is a want for it since currently I find no use for them and decided that I wanted to make a model of something that interests me. Anywho, the password is Mika's favorite food, the one given on Halloween, no caps. I got into Enstars around a year ago which is why I had made the model BUT I refused to finish it before or after october so I left it until NOW which I decided hm yes perfect moment. TURNS OUT LIFE WANTS ME BUSY so I BARELY could finish the model. It has some errors but tbh it's okay maybe one day I'll touch it again! OH AND I MADE MOST OF THE PARTS! I worked extremely hard on this model can you tell.

The design is actually made by yours truly, taking into the original Mika card of course. Little change from the other models haha.

Hetalia is coming back, and I have some thoughts...

Alrighty everyone, here we go! As if 2020 couldn’t get more insane...

(This is a longer post, so I’ll add fun gifs to separate the walls of text so it isn’t so exhausting to read).

So, if you’ve been on the internet since the early 2010′s, you’ve most likely seen, or at least heard, of an odd show called Hetalia. This anime, with the manga originally created by Hidekaz Himaruya, was later adapted into an anime. For those who are either new to the internet or have been living under a rock for the last decade, Hetalia, first going under the name Hetalia: Axis Powers, is a show about different events in world history and world politics, all being portrayed by people who represent different countries. Each country - or character, you could say - is essentially the embodiment of all their respective country’s stereotypes. 

For example, Germany is extremely strict, loud, militaristic, and often angry or stubborn. Italy is an absolute coward who is obsessed with pasta and beautiful women. And America is an over-the-top, loud, bombastic, arrogant dork who is constantly downing fast food and calling himself a “hero.” The list goes on and on, but you get the idea. 

Hetalia was, and still is, an extremely weird show. And with season seven on the horizon, coming to us in Spring 2021, I feel like I ought to talk about it. And why am I taking the time to talk about it?

Because I am a veteran Hetalian.

You read that right. Throughout all of middle school and the first few months of high school (almost four years), I was an absolute obsessive Hetalia fangirl. Outside of the internet, I was the biggest fan I knew, along with the guy who was my best friend at the time. We’d binge watch the show, read and write fanfiction, bring others into the cult fandom, talk about it almost constantly, draw fanart, watch the funny mmd video compilations on YouTube, delve really deep into world history, quote and reenact all of our favorite scenes - we even cosplayed England and Prussia one year for Halloween! This was the show that made me the HUGE history nerd I am today! I even got a book on the complete history of Prussia one year for Christmas.

Yep. We were those kind of fans. (Not gonna lie, as a now twenty-year-old woman, I still kinda cringe looking back at my middle school years. But I was having fun, so who cares?)

So when I heard we were getting another season after a five year hiatus, you’d think I’d be super stoked that a show I was once madly in love with was coming back from the dead, right?

Well... It’s a little complicated. I won’t lie that I am really excited for this new season, and I’m of course gonna watch the entire series over again in preparation for it. But I have some hopes, worries, and mixed emotions about everything happening, and everything that may or may not go down when the season eventually airs, including the time leading up to it. I even have a particular topic I want to get to, but you’ll see that later in the post.

To address my worries, we first have to go way back to the early days of the fandom. For the most part, the Hetalia fandom was just really weird, fun, nerdy, and quirky. Nothing wrong with that. I feel like the fandom already had an odd reputation, but at least it wasn’t a bad one. That is until we had some... How should I say... Toxic behaviors and incidents start to take place. 

Allow me to explain. How I see it, every fandom has some kind of toxicity level. The toxicity level is from the fans who are, well, toxic. We all know who they are, and you’ve likely met at least a few here and there. And the toxicity levels vary from fandom to fandom. In some it’s very low, and in others it’s very high. I wouldn’t say the Hetalia fandom’s toxicity level was super high, but it wasn’t incredibly low either. We had the usual problems, like some intense shipping wars and people debating on different ideas and headcanons, but the Hetalia fandom had something a bit different going on.

You see, a lot of people didn’t like - or even hated - Hetalia, because they saw it as racist and offensive. If you admitted you liked Hetalia outside of the fandom, you ran a definite risk of getting either shunned or degraded for it. And if that wasn’t bad enough, you had a group of fans - a rather small group of fans, mind you - who did some pretty insensitive things that ended up landing the fandom in some serious hot water.

You’d have people in that small group of fans who’d openly do the Nazi salute while cosplaying Germany at conventions, and there was even the incident where you had fans cosplaying as Nazi Germany to the holocaust museum, where they decided to pose doing the Nazi salute. I even saw a cosplay of Germany and Prussia pointing guns at the Star of David, which is a well known symbol of the Jewish faith. Not to mention the fans who seemed to fetishize Nazi Germany and Prussia. Now, I may not know about everything these people did, as I was pretty good at staying on the light side of the fandom, but these were some pretty well known and disgraceful problems that everyone would find out about sooner or later.

Sadly enough, it was that small, tiny percentile of the fandom that did things that were so offensive, so wrong, that it was greatly magnified by others, thus giving the fandom its toxic, even cringey reputation. And I really hope we don’t have to relive that all over again.

So what I hope is that we are able to leave all of that behind us. Though I’ve already seen some Twitter users try to start drama all over again by reposting the offensive cosplays, and Tumblr users getting their panties in a wad because they apparently have nothing else better to do. But because a vast majority of the Hetalia fans are like me in that we’ve grown older and matured, I’m hoping we can help guide the younger, newer fans in the right direction.

And I won’t deny that I am very worried about the newer fans getting harassed and bullied on social media. I don’t have a lot of advice when it comes to the haters, other than the usual ‘ignore them and don’t respond’, tactic. But just know that if they don’t leave you alone, you can always block them.

And here’s another bit I want to touch upon. While I can completely understand why people see this show as racist and offensive, I honestly don’t think it is. If anything, I think it actually teaches us something. And no, I’m not talking about history right here. I’m talking about the stereotypes, and how they are portrayed. I think this show helps us to understand that all of these different stereotypes we have about different people and countries are all stupid and silly.

Do we actually know a German who is exactly like Hetalia’s Germany? No. Do any of us know an Englishman who is identical to Hetalia’s England in every way? Of course not. This series helps us to understand that the stereotypes so many of us hold onto today are nothing more than just stupid, silly old ideas that have been blown far out of proportion over the years. 

Many people try to claim that this show is overtly racist and tries to divide, but in my opinion, I think it ties us together.

At the end of the day, I’m incredibly excited and eager to see the new season of Hetalia, and everything that it will have in store for us. And it’s fun too look back on all the nostalgic memories I have of this show. This is all I have to say for now, but I may or may not be coming back to this topic in the future. Might even make another blog for Hetalia while I’m coming back to the fandom. After all, this is known as the fandom you can’t escape from.

The girls have been invited to a college Halloween party. The place in particular that they have been invited to, has had some peculiar rumors going around. For a week straight, men and women in the neighborhood have gone missing. The cops believe it is a series of kidnappings. The neighborhood is starting to grow quiet, and another night comes by. Some college students are throwing a Halloween party at their house. The college these kids are from happen to be from Rose's college, hence the invitations. Of course, Rose doesn't want to go alone so she asked for extra invitations. There's been far too many kidnappings in a short period of time, could it be a stand user? Or… something else entirely?

Rose, Shanna, Kikumi, Kazeko, and Kazuno all get together to investigate this mystery at the college party. Perhaps they can enjoy themselves a little bit too, but they must not forget the real reason that they're here.

More MMD/Dance on Project Night, more COTL on horror night, and the Sub-Voted Stream on Saturday! The Halloween Event Stream will be held on the Weekend Before Halloween, meaning the weekend of the 27th/28th (I haven't decided which yet). Mostly because weekends give the most opportunity for people to attend and join the fun but also Halloween, itself, isn't on a stream day and this will give me an opportunity to get right into the NaNo Midnight Kick-Off, if I'm not streaming.

Meaning the Sub-Voted Stream will be pushed up to this weekend, instead! Voting will be on Wednesday/Thursday!
