I know its something kinda off the subject of the page but, what do you prefer to shipp, marigami lukanette or adrinette?
That’s okay! I’ll answer anything about mlb! Anyway to answer your question out of all these ships Lukanette is my favorite.
Now don’t get me wrong I love Adrinette (though I prefer Ladynoir and Marichat more) and I also think Marigami is really cool too, but I absolutely LOVE and ADORE Luka! He’s my second favorite character behind Nathalie.
I really thought him and Marinette were so cute together! I loved their bond and just how they were so comfortable around each other. I really wish they would’ve kissed at least once when they were dating tbh.

things that could happen in MLB from S6 ONwards PART 2
so since we know a little about where everything goes...get ready, here comes the bomb hahaha. I'm going to put short sentences of everything I'm seeing and feeling coming....
-The felinette is the definitive ship and the one that gives meaning to the series.
-This shipp will be built little by little going through all the phases, friends, best friends, combat partners, lovers, boyfriends and married
-Felix will be the only one who truly empathizes, he will listen to Marinette and understand, he will take care of her and protect her, he will do this in civilian life as a hero.
-FELIX will be Ladybug's right hand man, he will start as Argos and then he will be Chatnoir.
-CHATNOIR/FELIX will have a theme that is a mixture of Batman and espionage, it will be like the quietest and most cautious missions.
-One of the reasons why FELIX WILL CHANGE FROM ARGOS TO CHATNOIR WILL BE THE DEBT TO MARINETTE, she saves him at some point in the plot and his life or he owes it to her and that is her way of paying the debt.
-Adrien will be jealous of Marinette when she is flirting with Felix (yes, we'll see that and I'm already looking forward to it)
-The adrinette will come to an end and it will be because of adrien and kagami
-(OMG THIS IS STRONG BUT SERIOUSLY, TIME CHANGES PEOPLE) What Adrien will do to make Adrianette's relationship break is that HE will be unfaithful to Marinette with Kagami, yes, kagami is going to get in the way.
-THIS latter will happen either when the two of them are already teenagers or shortly after Adrien asks Marinette to marry him.
-Marinette is going to reject his proposal and is going to fall into a great depression and adrien too
-Adrien is going to try to fix his relationship with Marinette but it will be too late, she renounces him and takes her place, empowers herself as a woman.
-Marinette will move to New York to follow her dream as a designer, leaving everything behind, even friendships...
-ALYA O KAGAMI is going to betray Marinette and reveal her identity to the world (spiderman no way home haha), because of this her life is going to become hell, that is why she decided to change her look, she will dye blonde and maybe even the name will be changed
-Ryuko is going to love Chatnoir/Adrien, this is what makes them like each other more, since Chatnoir feels valued for the first time...
-LUKA will make Marinette see that life gives second chances in love when Adrien's infidelity occurs.
-Through several characters we can see what the future of our protagonists will be like... through Jagged Stone, Adrien as an adult, through Anarka, as an adult Marinette.
-Marinette will be akumatized because of Adrien's big lie or his identity revelation to the world.

So, just a little idea based on that ML leak and what Adrien/Chat Noir said:
What if this is the first time a girl has confessed to Adrien? Like, what if a lot of his fangirls had wanted to confess to him during Glaciator because of that ad?
But, like, after seeing him running around with "his girlfriend", they took one look at him with Marinette and were just like, "Isnt that the girl who designed that Album cover for Jagged Stone? And designed and crafted his favorite pair of Eiffel Tower sunglasses?"
"I heard she won a derby hat designing contest for Gabriel Agreste!"
"Damn, we cant compete with her! Ugh, shes so lucky to be dating the Adrien Agreste."
"Speak for yourself, girl. Adrien is lucky to be dating her."
"I mean, she is so talented, and I'm pretty sure Jagged Stone adopted her as his niece. Did you hear the fondness and pride in his voice when he called her his 'favorite little lady'?"
And so Adrien's fangirls are just secretly keeping tabs on Marinette and quietly fangirl whenever they see them both in public.
And you just know more than one was tuning in to that fashion show from Style Queen, and they all totally saw the look he gave Marinette as he walked down the catwalk.
"Omg, girl did you see that look? Hes so proud to be modeling her hat for the whole world to see! God, he is such a supportive boyfriend."
"AUDREY BOURGEOIS likes her design?? Oh, we definitely cant compete with that."
So, none of his fangirls ever got to confess since they all think hes already taken but they dont mind since Adrienette is so adorable and literally #relationshipgoals.
Of course, there's those fangirls that tried to dislike Marinette because of this, but after seeing them in public together several times when they're on outings with their friends, they, grudgingly, agree that they do make a cute couple.
After all, Adrien never denied it. So it must be true.

Hi, I like to ask your opinion on Gilgamesh x Arturia, not in the same way as the ask games but your opinion regarding the shipp itself. Let me elaborate, has a fan of GilArt one of the things that most often happens to me when showing my like for it, is that people say to me if I'm sick, am I crazy, how can I like artoria and GilArt at se same time and always they start throwing clip and extract of Stay night when nasu has already give reason for gil behavior, what do you think? Is GilArt sick.
I like GilArt. They form 2/3 of my current OT3, and even as just GilArt they're one of my top ships. Definitely. As a writer, I also think they have the most exciting hcs to write, out of my entire ship roster.
As someone who enjoys a lot of different fandoms and ships and has dealt with this for most of the years I've been alive, I may have learned a few things. (I've still got a lot of Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, MLB, etc. horror flashbacks jesus)
1. These characters are fictional, and their characteristics are not your characteristics. Some people unfortunately can't tell the difference.
2. Shipping is here for fun. You're not hurting anybody by shipping, nor doing anything bad. Don't let what other people say stop you from enjoying a ship.
3. Some people just like to troll. The best way to deal with them is to just say "Okay" and continue on with your life. Find a safe space. There is one out there, trust me.
TLDR, enjoy what you enjoy. :>
Additional story time below:
I talk about my Fate Friend (TM) a lot, so let's just call them "Nob". So Nob is a Saber X Shirou fan and they literally hate all the Arturia ships I ship.
But they don't hate me.
In our group of friends, we're the only two who are batshit crazy about Fate, so naturally I'd like to share my work with them. BUT as you know, most of what I do doesn't contain Saber and Shirou.
So, I think we just implicitly decided to each like what we like, but still freak out about the rest of Fate together. Agree to Disagree, y'know?
I accept that they don't like the Arturia ships I like, Nob accepts I'll never change my mind about them. And we're still friends. What happens is, they support me and my art, just not my ships. Which is very much fine.
It really all just boils down to respect. I respect them (and I am super grateful to have them in my life) and they respect me. And we both recognize that fandoms have no bearing on our real lives and how we treat each other as people.
I'm sorry you went through that, Anon. I hope you find a safe space like I have.

Dress for Success CEO Michele C. Meyer-Shipp on burnout, career advice
New Post has been published on https://petnews2day.com/pet-news/small-pet-news/dress-for-success-ceo-michele-c-meyer-shipp-on-burnout-career-advice/
Dress for Success CEO Michele C. Meyer-Shipp on burnout, career advice
Tumblr media
This story is part of the Behind the Desk series, where CNBC Make It gets personal with successful business executives to find out everything from how they got to where they are to what makes them get out of bed in the morning to their daily routines.
In August 2020, Michele C. Meyer-Shipp started her dream job — becoming the first woman of color to be named Major League Baseball’s chief people and culture officer.
Barely a year later, in September 2021, she announced she was stepping away. The reality was that the stress of being a diversity, equity and inclusion leader during the Covid-19 pandemic had led her to a breaking point.
The burnout had little to do with MLB, Meyer-Shipp says: Her peers at other organizations felt the same relentless exhaustion. First came figuring out how to make work happen during a global health crisis. Then, nationwide racial reckonings following the police killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and more.
“I was going through that as a Black woman myself, worried about my own children, worried about my own safety, worried about all of that,” Meyer-Shipp, 55, told CNBC Make It. “I was completely tapped out.”
A few months after leaving MLB, she got a call about Dress for Success. The 25-year-old nonprofit, which helps women through the job search and interview process, was looking for a new CEO.
The role came with a significant pay cut, and Meyer-Shipp was still focused on recovering from burnout. But she was drawn to its mission: Women lost more jobs than men during Covid, have stayed out of the workforce for longer and are being rehired at lower rates.
In January, she took the job. Engaging with those big issues with the limited resources of a nonprofit could stretch her thin again, but she says she doesn’t know any other way: “Every personality assessment I’ve ever taken pulls out my top quality as caring.”
Here, she discusses burnout, the country’s gender pay gap and why you should make risky career decisions like she did.
On realizing she was burned out: ‘It was firefighting every single day’
About a year into the pandemic, I remember coming home one night. One of my sons said to me repeatedly, “Mom, you look really exhausted. You just look so tired. You have dark circles under your eyes.”
I kept thinking, “God, do I look that bad?”
For 20-something years, I’d been on a hamster wheel. During Covid, I’d been in a 150% crisis management mode, unable to do the normal things I’d do as a people leader and a diversity leader. It was firefighting every single day.
I started to have health issues. I wasn’t sleeping. One of my colleagues said to me, “Michele, you’re not going to be any good to us if you’re not good to yourself.”
That’s when I knew it was time. I was physically and mentally exhausted, totally tapped out. So I stepped away, with no plan other than to take a sabbatical.
I didn’t realize until after I stopped working how tired I actually was.
On being a Black woman in a room of white men: ‘Trust me, nobody wants to assimilate’
In law school, I was the only woman, sometimes the only person of color, and definitely the only Black person in the classroom. My difference was actually my superpower.
I was able, through my lived experiences, to see things that the majority of the folks in that room did not appreciate. And when I spoke up on whatever that might be, you would see people go, “Oh wow, I never thought of that.”
People around the table, in a classroom, in a conference room, could come from different backgrounds and experiences. Everybody’s going to see something that the other person can’t see.
It doesn’t make me nervous. It doesn’t make me feel like I don’t belong, or that I have to assimilate. Look up the word “assimilate.” Trust me, nobody wants to assimilate.
I want to show up and be able to use my difference as my superpower to contribute in a meaningful way.
On taking career risks: ‘If you get too complacent, you’re not growing’
Take risks. Get comfortable being uncomfortable in your career. Volunteer for stretch assignments, join a committee or lead a project. If you get too complacent, you’re not growing.
My biggest career risk was leaving employment law. I’m the first person in my family to go to grad school, and I’m the first lawyer in my family. My parents were so incredibly proud of me.
I practiced law for 10 years, and everybody assumed that I was going to be a partner in a law firm or run a legal department somewhere. My husband was, at the time, working as a lawyer. This was our space.
Over time, I recognized that I didn’t enjoy the litigation aspects of practicing employment law. I preferred the counseling, training and advice aspects of the work. This drove me to pursue other ways to use my skill sets, and landed me a role as an Equal Employment Opportunity Officer for the New Jersey Department of Labor.
Stepping into a new role, doing something I’ve never done before, was really, really scary. I was afraid I might let my family down. I was getting into a whole new arena with a different set of colleagues to build relationships with.
But I’ll tell you, I’ve never looked back. Your best-made plans for your career may not be your endgame.
On women’s economic advancement: ‘I don’t know if the wage gap is going to be fixed in our lifetime’
The wage gap has always been an issue. I’ll be honest with you, I don’t know if it’s going to be fixed in our lifetime. I really don’t. If I hung my hat on that, I’d probably be depressed every single day.
I just tell everyone to do their best to negotiate and make sure they know the value of their work when they go in for interviews. I hope people in my former role of chief human resources officer are doing everything in their power to ensure pay equity.
The number of women who have returned to the workforce is actually back to pre-pandemic numbers. Now the issue is: Will they remain in the workforce? Will working conditions be conducive to meeting us where we’re at, and be flexible around our needs with family, and all of that?
I am cautiously optimistic.
This interview has been edited for length and clarity.

Murphy V. National Collegiate Athletic Association
By Alex Pagel, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Class of 2021
September 10, 2020
Tumblr media
Americans love sports and we tend to think we know more about them than professional coaches do. We also love to gamble; wagering on literally anything tends to make situations more interesting and suspenseful. Combined, however, the love we have for these two separate entities seems to grow beyond the sum of the two parts when separated. In recent years, sports gambling across the entire world has skyrocketed in popularity and became a legitimate stream of revenue for the governments which sanction it. According to a recent Zion Market Research Group study, the global sports betting market was valued at about $104 billion in 2017 and is expected to reach approximately $155 billion as quickly as 20241. A large part of this growth has been the result of the expansion of legalized sports betting within the United States over recent years. However, it was not until the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Association (2018) that such betting became legal, leading to sports betting’s significant growth in our country.
Prior to the Murphy ruling, the legality of sports betting in America was determined by the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992. PASPA, as it became known, did not outlaw sports gambling at the federal level; that was already illegal. Instead, PASPA banned states, outside of Nevada, Oregon, Delaware, and Montana, where forms of state-sponsored sports betting already were occurring, from regulating and taxing sports betting on their own2. PASPA also gave an exemption to the state of New Jersey, which was considering allowing sports betting in its jurisdiction, to do so as long as it created its sports betting program within a year of PASPA being ratified into law. However, New Jersey did not act during the exemption period granted to them. It was not until 2010, nearly two decades later, that their state legislature seriously considered implementing sports betting at its racetracks and casinos. This idea quickly gained favor with the public and after a 2011 statewide vote, New Jersey’s constitution was amended to give the state the power to legalize sports betting and did so by passing its Sports Wagering Act in 20123.
Fearing that doing so may harm their respective bottom lines, the NCAA, NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB filed a lawsuit against the state of New Jersey, arguing that it’s legalization of sports betting violated PASPA provisions. In this case, which became known as Christie v. National Collegiate Athletic Association, the state of New Jersey defense acknowledged that passing the Sports Wagering Act directly violated PASPA. However, the state argued that PAPSA itself violated the Tenth Amendment’s protection against anti-commandeering federal laws4 which maintain that the federal government itself cannot force state governments to adopt federal laws. After hearing both argument of both sides, U.S. District Court Judge Michael A. Shipp ruled in favor of the sports leagues. Following their loss, New Jersey then went to the federal Third Circuit Court of Appeals in hopes of a better finding. Unfortunately, in a 2 to 1 ruling, the judges of the Third Circuit Court also found in favor of the leagues. Thereafter, New Jersey appealed to the Supreme Court of the United States, which ultimately denied hearing the case in June 20145. As the Supreme Court is our nation’s final court of appeals, this would seem to have ended hope for the New Jersey Defense. However, the state was far from done in its effort to legalize sports gambling.
In the months following the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear their case, New Jersey passed Senate Bill 2460, which, according to Cornell’s Legal Information Institute, repealed several longstanding state prohibitions on sports gambling and repealed bans on gambling at casinos and racetracks by those age 21 and older6. Effectively, this was done to circumvent the unfavorable rulings the state was handed by the District Court and the Third Court of Appeals. After the bill passed the state legislature, though, New Jersey governor Christie vetoed the proposed law. But, by September, the governor changed his mind, decided to support the bill, and signed it into law. This signaled a win for supporters of state-sponsored betting in New Jersey.
Unsurprisingly, the ratification of Senate Bill 2460 into New Jersey law led to the same five sports leagues suing the state again.  However, the outcome of this lawsuit was much more favorable than the first to the state of New Jersey. The same District Court and the Third Court of Appeals ruled again in favor of the leagues, but unlike their first appeal effort, the Supreme Court accepted New Jersey’s second appeal and decided to hear the case. It was at this time, in 2017, that Phil Murphy became the newly elected governor of New Jersey and the case was renamed to Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Association7. After hearing the arguments from both parties, the Supreme Court, in a 7-2 majority opinion, ruled that PASPA violated the Tenth Amendment’s anticommandeering provision because it forcefully dictated what a state legislature may or may not do8. This, in effect, gave the power to regulate sports gambling back to the states.
Thereafter, on June 11, 2018, Governor Murphy signed a law making sports gambling legal in New Jersey. In a statement sent to the media, Murphy said, “Today, we’re finally making the dream of legalized sports betting a reality for New Jersey” and that “This is the right move for New Jersey and it will strengthen our economy”9. Thanks to the popularity that sports betting quickly gained in the state, New Jersey has since collected $69,615,087 in state tax revenue on legalized gambling (As of August 12, 2020)10. Clearly, the ruling in Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Association has proven to be very beneficial to New Jersey’s economy.
Today 18 states have legalized sports betting within their borders and 5 more have recently passed bills to do so. An additional 24 states have introduced bills within their respective state legislatures proposing to legalize sports gambling but have failed to gain enough support to pass into law. The remaining three states left in our country that haven’t even proposed the idea before their legislature, Idaho, Wisconsin, and Utah, show no signs of legalizing sports gambling in the foreseeable future11. Considering the recency in which Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Association was decided, the fact that so many states have or are in the process of legalizing sports betting suggests that it will both benefit the states respective pocketbooks and satisfy the desires of the public. It appears only a matter of time until legalized sports betting becomes the norm in the United States of America.

Opinion about Mayura
Oh well, here we go.
I still haven't fully recovered from the Mayura episode, but we take the hand of God and go in faith.
As always, I didn't understand much of what they were talking about, but early on after Hawk Moth had spoken, Ladybug's face wasn't the best.
Tumblr media
I assume she was afraid, after all, who wouldn't have been in that situation... It was kind of scary since nothing like that had ever happened before. But after she talked to Chat Noir, does she seem to have gained more courage?
Tumblr media
Anyway, I wanted to know enough French to have understood what the super heroes said before they went into the attack.
Anyway, let's get past the battle, things I can see and I can comment on: Carapace and Chat Noir. Bromance goals.
Tumblr media
Not only are they best friends without the masks, but I feel they can be best friends with the masks too, it would be fantastic. I like Adrien and Nino so much together, it's kind of my OTP of friendship. Of course, next to Alya & Marinette, because no one outgrows them both. But I must admit, Chat Noir and Carapace work very well as a team and I hope that in season three we can see more of this type.
Probably several people thought about it, and even wanted it to happen... when Rena Rouge was hit by an arrow, the way to get it out was with a kiss of true love, as it was with Ladybug and Chat Noir in the first season, but noooooo...
Tumblr media
Honestly, I was waiting for Ladybug to start saying to Carapace, "Hey, you need to kiss her to get her out of this state. Be quick before she's akumatized" and then we'd finally have the right to see first kiss in the chambers of Alya x Nino even though it was in a superhero state. What a shame. I know I dreamed too much, but I also wanted to see Ladynoir kiss again, I miss them.
By the way, it was scary when Chloe's parents and her butler arrived, like... poor thing. She had to fight them as best she could, but it was impossible since she eventually got caught too.
And then we get to the part where Ladybug and Chat Noir are left alone. I know they are in the middle of a major battle but being honest, I was so happy with what happened in the sewers. It was so cute. I didn't get it right, but after walking on the tumblr, there were already people who had already subtitled their scene, so just look. It was fantastic how Adrien encouraged Marinette, even though he didn't know it was her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And it was also so sweet of him to continue to respect Marinette's desire and close his eyes when they jumped into the water.
Tumblr media
About Plagg and Adrien: Thank you. Really, thank you very much for this scene. I knew Plagg cared about Adrien but seeing him demonstrate such a feeling is always great to see.
BTW, I HAD A MINI ATTACK WHEN THEY SAYED DETRANSFORMATION! I really found that they were going to de-transform in front of each other, what a scare, what a heart attack they gave me.
And again, as at the end of the first season, Ladybug released so many butterflies, it really gave me a nostalgia in the belly, it was beautiful.

Speaking of nostalgia before in the sewers, I had given LadyNoir a nostalgia too when Adrien turned to the wall and put his hand on it while talking to Marinette. I shipped both of these two, my OTP.
And then the Parisians appeared... I cried with happiness. It was so beautiful. Yesterday Thomas had put an image on his Twitter that now if they are to compare with the scene of the Parisians makes perfect sense.
I think everyone already has a sense of my hatred for Lila, but anyway, unfortunately, she appeared again in the episode. Knowing the fact that she has to speak for her illusions to speak, made me think of the Catalyst episode and how she had to talk about everything for Miss Fortune and Chat Noir to talk about. It must be exhausting, but I don't care, she can be tired even, I'm sick of her and her lies and ugly faces to others.
And please, somebody puts some judgment on Gabriel's head, he hit his own son. Even if he doesn't know that it's his son and even though Chat doesn't know Hawk Moth is his father, it's still violence and I got a little bad with it, Adrien doesn't deserve the life he takes from his father, he deserves someone who loves him and gives him attention, who cares for him the right way (like Marinette, but I'd like to know more about Adrien and Emilie's relationship)
But it really was strange to see the real Hawk Moth again in his true suit and not in red, I had gotten used to it, but I didn't like it too much, I prefer the normal colors.
And in an act of desperation, Natalie went to pick up Peacock's Miraculous. Yeah, it was her, but I got the feeling that this Miraculous belonged to Emilie and she's in a coma/died on account of this Miraculous since in the end, Gabriel worried about Natalie's condition after using the Miraculous. It must be really powerful and exhausting... Now I want to know more!
But let me confess here, for Mayura's first appearance, she's really pretty, even though it's Natalie. Now I wonder what it would be like if it were Emilie. HMMM
BUT HEY! Now Ladybug and Chat Noir know that Peacock's Miraculous is with the Hawk Moth, since Mayura helped him.
And as always, in any series, the villain managed to escape. I just can't understand why Nooroo is so... Idk, nice to Gabriel. He doesn't deserve. Why call him "master" then? Ugh...
(insert here the fact that Alya, Nino and Chloe returned the miraculous and everything)
NOW WE CAN TALK ABOUT HOW LADYBUG GOT THE BEE'S MIRACULOUS?! SHE AND CHAT FINDED AFTER, BEFORE SHE GOING TO SEE MASTER FU? WHY DIDN'T WE SEE THAT IN THE EPISODE? I WANTED!
Alya and Mylene are kind of like me with all my shipps, they were fantastic. Too bad Adrien sat down and didn't give it five minutes, he had to leave. He should have had more freedom too, poor fellow, just wanted to be with his friends. But the fact that before he left, he had said those words all to Marinette, about her being their Ladybug every day, it was... beautiful. He compared the "love of his life" to "it's just a friend". It's not a coincidence, is it? Please, Adrien, open your eyes, you were made for each other. Master Fu agrees, the fandom agrees, everyone agrees (except Chloe and Lila but shhhh)
And I'll not even comment on Chloe's attitude to Sabrina, I don't think it's worth it. There are episodes where she is a good character and others that she is just the biggest bitch in the world, but as Marinette said in the episode Malediktor, "Ladybug made me a better Marinette, maybe Queen Bee make Chloe better too." I'm still waiting to see this.
AND WE CAN'T FORGET THE MOST IMPORTANT: THE KISS.
Tumblr media
Tell me the truth, no one was expecting Marinette to finally take that step of kissing Adrien's cheek. It was like... SHOCKER. In a good way, because I was very happy.
So I hope that in the future, we'll have more of these scenes. As said by the creators, season two is nothing compared to season three, so Miraculers, get ready, we'll have many more heart attacks ahead with MLB.
Surely many good things are still waiting for us, with Miraculous's next season. More action, romance, comedy, drama, sadness, revelations, I'm anxious to see what's out there. I hope it doesn't take long to launch season three, but I know they are doing a great job, and I am very proud to be a Miraculer, to participate in this sea of emotions at the same time. The end of this season was as good as the first.
So... Be Miraculous!
See ya~ 💘💚🖤
