Brought back to life by David Irwin and Juniper this cordless portable lamp features an integrated rechargeable battery, utilitarian lines and movable lamp head borrows elements from the old mining lamps and reinvents them into a tool for modern day life. M Lamp designed by David Irwin for New York based design object company Juniper. Inspired by 19th Century English miner's lamps, Irwin uses more contemporary LED lamping and an environmentally friendly battery to work for today's market (and not for miners!). The lamp is cordless and stands 9" tall, making it a good option for a task lamp. Made from aluminum and available in white, black, and orange.
