every time i draw jenny i suffer because cant figure out what to dress her into 😭 i try to keep the spirit of original show and somehow make her outfits part of her exoskeleton/robot armor but it always looks weird. so i kinda went crazy when i doodled anniversary ideas before i settled on the iconic disco look (i freaking love that outfit)

i probably should stop overthinking it and just draw her in hoodies and shorts

Happy 20th Anniversary, MLaaTR!!! 🎉 This show has brought me so much joy and comfort over the years, influenced me as an artist, and introduced me to some really cool people! Even two decades in, Jenny continues to be an absolute icon and is beloved by so many people; and on a day like today nothing brings me more joy than seeing my girl (and more importantly, the crew who worked so hard on the show) get the flowers she deserves!!

Talk about an UNDERRATED cosplay! I legit only seen in done on this app one time before… Shout out to the ever so talented @bigmack227 for giving me the idea, and she probably don’t even know 🤭 Anyway, XJ9 a.k.a Jenny Wakeman will always have a special place in my heart for being so relatable despite being entirely made of metal. I also really enjoyed the art style of this show giving the viewer experience major retro 50s vibes, and don’t even get me started on the Crust Cousins… can I say fashion ICONS!!! But I digress, this show is amazing, and sometimes forgotten, so please check it out if you haven’t already!
