Where is she?

You wonder as you pace the floor of your room. The dinner you made for her and you to enjoy was cold now. You worked so hard on it, it was a new recipe and you wanted Sektor to be the first to try it. You worked on everything in general tonight. You had hoped for a romantic candle lit dinner, you got her favorite flowers, got the candles you knew she liked, you even got the best wine you could get your hands on. You meticulously placed rose petals onto the bed in the shape of a heart. You knew hard things had been for Sektor so you wanted to do something special for her. And she hasn't shown up yet.

This was the 5th time this week, Sektor was supposed to be here by now, and like what has been the case for almost a month now, she was late. Where is she? You wonder again, dropping into your seat with a huff. Maybe she was just working on something in her workshop, or maybe she was with...him...

With a frustrated sigh, you laid your head onto the table. You were used to Sektor coming late, and insisted it was the best time because of the lack of people possibly seeing her come to your room, but not this late. It be and more and more of a struggle to keep your eyes open. You try to fight off the sleep, but you slowly feel it claim you. She'll come, you try to convince yourself, she's going to walk through that door and everything's going to be just fine. You rise to your feet and stumble towards the bed. Surely you can close your eyes for just a few seconds. You are careful not to ruin the pattern of roses at the center of the bed, you curl up at the foot of the bed and softly yawn. You'll rest your eyes for a moment as you wait for Sektor, she'll show up and wake you. Then you'll have dinner and everything will be just fine. She'll come, you just know it.

"What happened last night?" You whisper under your breath to Sektor. The training room was empty now, the echo of you impatiently tapping your feet against the cold stone bounced across the walls. Sektor has just came out of a training session to test her new equipment, you caught just as she was leaving. Sektor side eyed you for a second, a slight apologetic glare in her eyes. "I was working late, Bi-Han wanted to go over plans for a...special assignment." You didn't like the sound of that. Bi-Han has been working for Sektor for the longest, he and her would meet in his office or to the training grounds or wherever, and they would be there for hours. You say to her it's fine when she leaves to meet with him, but you can't lie, it burns you up inside. Why does she have so much time for him, but almost none for you? "You said you'd visit me tonight, I had planned for you and me to spend some time together."

"I have responsibilities, Y/n. You know that.". You take a deep breath as you try to maintain your composure, you don't want to cause a scene. You notice that Sektor is making sure to maintain a noticeable distance from you even though there weren't a lot of people left in the room. The few in the room were packing up their things and getting ready to walk out, they were in the training room locker, where they couldn't see you. Sektor rested her hands behind her back and fixed with a stern look. It didn't feel like you were talking to the woman you loved, but rather being scolded by your superior. You feel ashamed how intimidated you feel by how she looked at you, how you feel the need to cower before your own girlfriend.

"I know that. I'm not asking to abandon your responsibilities. Or to throw away your life for me. I just want us to work for you to include me in your world." Sektor had a busy life, you knew that. So you always appreciated when she made time for you. But now that time has gotten shorter and shorter, as she has spent more time with Bi-Han. Sometimes, you wouldn't even see for 3 while days because how devoted to him she is. You won't lie, that makes your stomach churns with fear when she does that. Even worse, the way she changes in his presence.

You remember one time, you and Sektor were in Sektor's lab, holding hands as you enjoyed each other's time. You remember smiling like an idiot and enjoying this moment. Then Bi-Han walked in. It was strange watching Sektor completely change upon hearing Bi-Han. The sweet smile that painted her face snapped into a cold glare as she ripped her hand out of yours and started to pretend to scold you, harshly criticising you and every aspect. The Grandmaster looked you up and down, a chillingly heartless glare in his eyes. He asked, well, more like he ordered you to leave their presence. You remembered looking over to Sektor, expecting to say something. She didn't so much as look at you.

Sektor later came to you, insisting that she said all those things and the nothing at all to protect your relationship. You forgave, but never forgot. You want an end to this, you just Sektor to hold your hand and not be scared that someone might see you. You wanted her to say you're hers. You wanted to know that she loved you and weren't just using you for emotional support and a good time.

"I'm trying my hardest, but I don't have enough time for you." You now stare at Sektor disheartened, "I know..." A heavy sigh rips free from your nostrils. "Yet you have all the time in the world for Bi-Han." You pout as you cross your arms, trying to avoid her gaze. Sektor lets out a frustrated sigh. "What I do, I do for Lin Kuei's future. Bi-Han and I share a vision for it, and we're working together to achieve it." You squeeze your eyes shut and cross your arms and you begin to tap your foot against the hard steel of the floor. "Do you know how much you've spoken to me?" You nibble ever slightly on your lip while trying to control your breath. Sektor let out a heavy sigh. "Y/n, I don't-"

"This is the most we've talked in a month." Sektor studied your face as she let this sink. Now that she thought about it, the last time you two even interacted was when you brought her water after a gruelling training day. She remembered smiling as she wiped the sweat from her brow. "Thank you, Y/n. I lo-" at that second she immediately closed her mouth and looked away from you, her face burned bright red with blush. Since then, you two barely said more than 5 words to each other, which wasn't usually often because of how much she was with Bi-Han. Sektor falls silent, it feels like forever as she does is stare at you blankly. You throw your hands in the hand, turn on your heel and match away. "You know what? I'm done!" You say a little louder than you should. "Y/n!" Sektor bellows in a low growl. "Oh, no don't worry about me. Who cares about me when you have your precious Bi-Han!?" You swing around to face her. By now, Lin Kuei poked their head out of the locker rooms to see what the commotion is about.

"Y/n, we both know that nothing's going on between and Bi-Han." Anger flared in Sektor's eyes, yet the Lin Kuei somehow managed to keep her voice steady and low. You were the opposite, you lost yourself in the moment. Now you're storming down the hallway, your voices echo vibrated off the wall. "Y/n!" Sektor calls after you. Once again, you swing around your feet to meet her, you eyes burning with jealousy and rage. "What!?"

Immediately, Sektor slams you against the wall, before you have a moment to react, her lips are on yours, her tongue is inside your mouth. She places her hands firmly placed on your waist as she just holds you there. Oh gods, her warmth, you forgot how warm she was. You feel little shame as it melts in her arms. At that second, all that burned, caused you to act out, feels like a distant memory slowly fading away as she pressed you against the wall. "Enough of this nonsense, Y/n!" Her voice is low and firm. "You are one of the best things to ever happen. Bi-Han is my Grandmaster and I honor him, but he is nothing else but a friend." You feel your heart begin to skip a beat as she got closer to your heart, whispering in it. "I love you, Y/n." At that, you feel chills running down your spine, your legs slightly turn to jelly.

Softly does she caress your curves as she kisses up and down your neck, causing you to moan just a little. "Let's take this somewhere more private." She whispers in your ear. Your mind is jello now, you just nod like an idiot as she takes your hand and leads you away. Moments later, you're in her workshop. Sektor has you on her lap as she kisses your neck, sucking and biting the skin every once and a while. She takes a considerable amount of pleasure in hearing you whimper and cry. Her warm hands gently rub your stomach. "I really am sorry, Y/n." she whispers into your ear, her hands get lower and lowered till they're just above your pants. "I keep forgetting that I'm in a relationship with you of all people, and you're so needy."

Your brain can barely even function right now, you just nod along as she touches you. By the Elder Gods, it's been so long since she has touched you, you could barely think straight just off the warmth of your lips, her strong hands. Her hands plunge into your pants. A shiver runs down your spine as Sektor's hands explore your, settling at your inner thigh. "Are you needy, Y/n?" She continues her slow pace on your thigh, getting closer and closer to your vulva. "Y-Yes, I am." You say with a whimper, your skin gets hotter and hotter as you feel her get near. Then , she suddenly stops just a few inches. "How needy?" She growls into your ear. "So needy! I need so much!" You can feel Sektor's grin burn the back of your head. You almost cried until Sektor finally placed two fingers into your clit. Perhaps you were wrong to be so jealous and upset, or maybe you were right you couldn't make up your mind right now. Your mind feels even more frazzled as you feel your climax coming. "Sektor!" You whine as you grip the arm wrapped around you. Your body begins to shiver as you feel yourself becoming undone. Your eyes roll to the back of your head for a second as your body erupts, your brain is officially gone as you orgasm all over Sektor's hand.

She says, her voice noticeably softer, less confident. "You...were right to be upset." She admits, a strain in her voice, like it was hard to admit she was wrong. "Abandoned you so many times. The way I act around Bi-Han, treat you in front of him... I'm sorry." You both sit in a pregnant silence at this. "Sektor." You open your mouth to speak, but Sektor is quick to interrupt. "No, no, there's no need to excuse my actions. I...I was wrong." Another silence passes between you two. "No, I actually was going to agree. You were a real jerk." Sektor grows a stupid look on her face, until she finally dryly chuckles. A wide smile spreads across both your face. "Yeah, I was." She agrees. You key out a tough sigh as you hold on tighter to her arms around you.

"To be fair. I acted like a jerk too. I'm sorry for my outburst." The air about you two suddenly feels free. You rise to your feet and rub your neck, you can just feel the markings. Sektor said with a hungry grin on her face. "Y/n, no matter what, I want you to know that I love you. I can't imagine going on without you. You're so...so...you. You're so you." At that second, Sektor closes her eyes and grits her teeth in embarrassment. "Um, thank you, I guess?" You cross your arms. "Look, I'm not good at this, I adore you, understood?" You giggle as she rises to her feet. "Understood. I love you too." It felt so good to finally say it, you found yourself with a dumb smile on your face.

Sektor grabs you and kisses you again, her hands travel up and down your back. She pulls back, "Let's take this up to your room. I'm yours for the rest of the day." You bite your lip in excitement, you spin on your hells and rush to the exit. Sektor walks over to one of the workshop drawers. She hurriedly opens it and begins rummaging through it. "Coming?" you stop right underneath the door frame and look behind you. Finally Sektor finds it, she grins at the sight of it. "I am, I just wanted to bring this. I've been working on it just for you." She pulls out a strange device. A phallic shaped gadget that appeared to be composed of multiple small parts, maybe it moves in different parts. You blush and bite your lip at the sight of it. "This is going to be a long day, isn't it?" Sektor only smirks at you. It is going to be a long day.

I know this might be a weird request but I saw on one of your old post and it was mentioning a swap AU with kenshi and Johnny, I wanted to do something kinda similar and it be instead swap, be opposite personality (ex johnny instead of being confident and cocky hes timid and insecure) I'm new to MK so im not sure how opposite kenshi would be but I hope you understand, if you have any questions feel free to ask me again!

* So because this is swapped personality but not positions Kenshi i imagine is in a higher rank in the yakuza than normal.

* Because of his cocky attitude he takes more jobs and is more confident about his missions.

* He still doesn’t like doing them but he hides his guilt using his personality.

* I feel 50/50 about the idea of him being a show off for example in MK1 Johnny tends to show off his wealth, fame, movies, everything but i feel like even in this AU if Kenshi did it would make him look insane on one hand he’d do it because of the amount of time he’s spent in this bussines has at least semi desensitised to it but im not sure at the same time cuz i dont feel like it’ll fit his character so idk let me know what you think.

* When Kenshi broke into Johnny’s mansion i want you to imagine the scene where johnshi + Kung lao are walking to Baraka’s village and basically take the dialogue and put it here Kenshi just straight up shit talking Johnny to his face

* After losing to Johnny, Kenshi is absolutely pissed because he’s never failed a mission.

* Johnny and Kenshi’s relationship initially starts off very hostile they bicker argue and insult each other but trough training at the academy they slowly start to put that behind them and it evolves to a sort of rivalry less hating each other and more competitive if that makes sense.

* Kenshi was surprised when Johnny gave him Sento while yes he’s cocky and acts childish Kenshi still feels guilty for all the lives that he has taken while being a part of the yakuza, Kenshi doesn’t feel like he deserves this until Johnny explains his reasonings and slowly starts to put the past behind him and starts hope for a brighter future.

* Because his personality is different in this AU instead of being knows for action movies Johnny is most known for horror and historical films.

* His social media presence is small but he’s still got big fanbase that likes him for his mysterious aura.

* Because of his now more silent personality when Johnny drops movie quotes in conversations it tends to sound more ominous and makes people scared of him.

* Johnny and Cris break up still for the same reason as normal : Johnny’s spending habits and perhaps some looked over alcohol problems.

* Did not understand at all what was going on when Kenshi broke in. Whas this a movie ? A prank ? Or is it real ? Dont look at him because he doesn’t know either.

* Johnny keeps sento to himself not because of it’s monitory gain instead for it’s history and doesn’t give it to Kenshi because he think that he’s untrustworthy.

* Eventually after being in the Wu Shi academy for long enough he starts to slowly open up to the people around him.

* Kenshi tends to rile him up so after a while when he gets annoyed he’ll talk shit back to Kenshi and they’ll be off just bickering (like love birds WHO SAID THAT)

* As for the dreaded Mileena poking Kenshi’s eyes out™ i imagine it goes pretty much the same Johnny realises that Kenshi saved him. Even trough all the bickering and rivalries that they had Kenshi still choose to sacrifice his sight for him.

* After the incident Johnny gives Sento to Kenshi as a token of his appreciation of the man and the sacrifice that he committed.

* Because Kenshi was part of the yakuza since he was young he didn’t have many chances to see any type of movies so when Johnny suggest to watch something Kenshi is on board,he’s really excited and keeps talking and making comments while watching.

* Kenshi’s favourite movies tend to be action and thrillers.

* Yes Johnny did show Kenshi the movies he played in but only because he was forced to after loosing a bet. Kenshi just talked about how hot Johnny was.

* Because Johnny doesn’t flaunt his fame like in MK1 his mansion is diffrent. It’s smaller, has simple designs, the awards that he’s won in his carrier are stored on a shelf in another room, all the items he bought are expensive but in the modern art type of way aka simple shapes, basic colours, some of them are small and don’t take up too much space.

* Johnny and Kenshi have different aesthetics when it comes to clothing Johnny tends to wear more basic and neutral colours while Kenshi if he’s not on some sort of mission wears more vibrant clothing.

* Ok i know this one is basic and practically canon to the fandom but still i gotta do it. Johnny buys Kenshi blindfolds, they tend to differ in colour so Kenshi can match them to the outfit that he’s currently wearing some of them have embroidery on the front(?) to make them fancy.

Author’s note: Bi-Han is multitasking again 🤣 Lin Kuei are living in isolation but since Tomas was adopted, watching movie together became sort of tradition. Bi-Han and Tomas though decided to include Shang Tsung (so Kuai Liang invited Harumi) while poor Cyrax is trying to figure out what the hell is going on. As Shang Tsung already complained that no one likes him and Bi-Han is enlisted to keep an eye on the sorcerer, this is a win-win solution. Also, Tomas is the empathic, nice guy who knows very well what it's to be the outsider in a close-knit group, as his adoption into Lin Kuei wasn't easy.

Sektor is pretty amused by the chaos brought by Tomas and Bi-Han.

Mortal Kombat 1 Behind the Scenes AU: There are no hopeless students, only bad teachers.

Author’s note: Look, I won't lie, I low-key hate Tomas' MK1 ending for the way he and Kuai Liang see Hanzo, as this gifted student enrolled in Shirai Ryu for their "noble cause" while showing little concerns for the boy itself. I have a lot to say about that and maybe will explain once I will sit down to write my (for now) final part of "Bi-Han & Kuai Liang. Good brother? Evil brother? Nah, just different reactions to trauma" but my negative reaction comes down to this: Tomas who struggled so much to became Lin Kuei (fighter) should not look down on young students for not being "good enough" to be new members of Shirai Ruy. Kuai Liang should not either, but his intro dialogues made me think he would not be the best teacher - which frankly is more about Lin Kuei arrogance than him being a bad person, just to be clear here. So I decided to A) give more focus on Tomas and his relationship with adoptive dad and B) let him be the voice of reason to the "badass" warriors like Scorpion and Harumi. So yeah, the problem is not in student (this poor kid trying hard) but in teachers with too big expectations and too little patience.

Mortal Kombat 1 Behind the Scenes AU: But are you sure it was me, Bi-Han?

Author’s note: This may be seen as a sequel to "I really can't leave you and him unsupervised...?" or just another incident with Shang Tsung using his shapeshift skills to mess with people on film set. One way or another, Liu Kang is having a disciplinary conversation with Shang Tsung... or more like trying and failing, as Shang Tsung is too busy arguing with Bi-Han to let Liu Kang say anything, even less to pay attention to the Fire Lord. Liu Kang should be angry for being stuck between Sub-Zero and Shang Tsung but in all truth? He is way too amused by those two arguing (you can even see he is smiling!).

Mortal Kombat 1 Behind the Scenes AU: Lin Kuei Life - when duty calls, p. 3

Author's note: though Bi-Han is the heir to the Lin Kuei Grandmaster title, he takes an active part in defending the Earthrealm and is sent on mission whenever the situation demands the best. Which is why Kuai Liang is so stressed, because in such case he should be there to protect his brother but he was left behind on film set, so he could have fun/normalcy/time with Harumi he wanted. Thus he is consumed by guilt, because in Lin Kuei life, one never be sure if your family and friends will come back alive from mission. Thankfully, Tomas is there to calm him down, a bit at least.

Mortal Kombat 1 Behind the Scenes AU: A traitor to Chaos

Author’s note: I swear, if Mortal Kombat decided even be realistic and let use their characters a brain for a second or just let them go into attorney argumenting how Titan Havik's doing is the antithesis of chaos, he would be fucked up within the moment Sub-Zero step into Chaosrealm and talk other Haviks into murdering this hypocrite and traitor. But then there would not be a game 🤣 On serious note, this may be seen as another Lin Kuei mission keeping Bi-Han away from film set. Also my AU's lore has a different name for Sub-Zero's clan while "Lin Kuei" is used only for Cage's movies, I decided that non-Earthrealm characters will call Lin Kuei warriors as Ghosts. I suspect each realm has their own name for Liu Kang's special Earthrealm Defenders, and Ghosts is a nice reference to Lin Kuei's name that, according to MK wiki, means Forest Demons. Demons though sounds too evil for good-natured Liu Kang while Ghosts still have the supernatural ring to it.
