Mitsuzuha backburner + midnight rain au

- yuzuha idol dari survival show bareng hina, emma, senju. Udah disband kontrak abis. Senju ngeyutub dan keluar agensi, jadi mahasiswa biasa. Hina emma balik trainee. Yuzuha yang awalnya masuk actress academy jadi lanjut main film, nyanyi ost dikit-dikit. Kabarnya ditawarin buat jadi member girlgroup di agensi sebelah tp dia masih nimbang nimbang.

- ketemu mitsuya di sebuah acara buat award show. Jadi yuzuha mc, dan mitsuya outfit stylistnya pas itu. He own a fashion design contest and the dress used buat di acara itu. Dressnya bikin sendiri.

- mitsuya liked her tapi gaberani soalnya ya.... Artis bray.

- mitsuya masih mahasiswa, jurusan fashion design. Lomba desain tadi uangnya gede and he has the skill so he tried dan ternyata menang, desainnya dimanfaatkan dan buat yuzuha di award show.

- mitsuya ternyata temennya kai, adek yuzuha yang model. Kenal karena satu kampus dan dulu kating yang mentor kai di ospek fakultas. Yuzuha taunya belakangan. Mitsuya dari awal dah tau kalo yuzuha kai kakak adek.

- yuzuha was mitsuya's first pick di survival shownya. Alasannya karena yuzuha pernah aegyo dan adek adek mitsuya seneng banget liatnya. So he voted for her to debut.

Draken x Emma: wedding (or the future that could've happened) headcanons

They get married as soon as they hit their mid-twenties. Although everyone (except for Mikey) tells them they're too young, they love each other and want to build a family, so they can't see the point in waiting any longer.

Draken runs a bike shop, Emma works in a company.

When Draken tells Mikey he wants to propose to Emma, they hug each other tight and in silence, but both secretly shed some tears of happiness on each other's shoulder.

The proposal is planned by Draken in his simple and moderate style, nothing fancy: he invites Emma somewhere with a nice view at night and no one around, he starts with a touching speech on the importance of being a very solid couple, then he gets down on one knee and gives her a ring with a honey gemstone that reminds him of her eyes. Emma starts crying at his very first word and literally never stops, to the point Draken has to comfort and soothe her. «Emma, you're making this awkward...» «I just love you so much,» she says between the sobs. «So much I'd marry you hundreds times a day.» And she keeps crying.

The wedding preparations are mostly Emma's thing. She wants everything to be pretty and romantic.

Mitsuya personally designes both their reception dresses and Emma is so delighted with the result, she looks forward to wearing hers.

On the wedding day, Emma is deeply emotional and she cries in Mikey's arms for hours. She has to do her make-up at least three times because the tears repeatedly ruin it.

Draken has diligently polished his bike for the occasion, but on that day he is so tense his hands tremble and he is not sure he can drive. The protruding vein on his forehead is nowhere close to fading and when Pah-chin points it out to him, Draken keeps denying he's nervous.

At the ceremony, both Emma and Draken get so emotional, they can barely speak and they get lost in each other's eyes because they're IN LOVE as the very first day. They're so beautiful and their ever-existent height difference makes them even cuter. He tol, she smol, forever and ever.

After the ceremony, they celebrate with a wedding reception where family and all their friends are invited: the atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Although they're all adults, there are silly little flags on every single dish, it was Draken's idea. «For Mikey,» he answers to whoever asks him why.

Draken never lets go of Emma's hand.

Emma keeps whispering to Draken's ear how much she loves him. Plus, she calls him husband a lot.

At some point Emma takes the microphone and the hall goes silent, she clears her voice and starts talking: she thanks all their friends for staying by their side through the years, remembering the hardships they all went through together, she thanks Mikey for always protecting her and for supporting hers and Draken's relationship, in the end she thanks Draken for always loving and taking care of Mikey, for being such a good person and such a good friend for them, before being the wonderful partner he is for her.

Draken goes red both from love and embarrassment, he smiles at her fondly while his heart is about to step out of his chest.

At the end of the day, Draken carries Emma bridal style to his bike and they go away, while their friends lovingly wave at them.

Before they leave, Mikey approaches them and begs them to come back with good news - which means a nephew or a niece because Mikey wants a little Ken-chin or a little Emma so bad -. Draken and Emma fondly smile at Mikey and reassure him because they already discussed this and they both want a child, so there's a high chance he'll soon become uncle Mikey.

Theirs is a honeymoon by motorbike without a pre-set destination. They decide to leave with just few things, only the two of them on Draken's bike towards suggestive and pretty places in Japan.

+ Bonus:

Mikey couldn't be happier, he spends the whole day with a ridiculously gracious smile on his face because his Ken-chin and Emma will take care of each other and build a family from now on. His dream is coming true and he's grateful, to say the least.

Peh and Pah are happy for the couple and grateful for the delicious food.

Literally everyone is so excited about Draken and Emma getting married.

Takemichi and Hinata have always rooted for them, so they just can't put into words how glad and happy they are. They start considering getting married, too.

Yuzuha, who has previously realized she likes Mitsuya, flirts with him a lot that day (probably inspired and encouraged by the romantic atmosphere) but the outcome is kinda embarrassing since they've known each other forever. «Uhm, Yuzuha, can you please stop this? It's... weird? You just can't flirt, to be honest,» Mitsuya says at some point. «Plus, don't take it the wrong way, but I don't need that, I mean...» «You little sh- What? What are you about to say, huh?» she asks, half aggressively and half panicking. «Everyone in this room knows that I've loved you since I was a kid,» he sweetly smiles. «I don't need to be courted to fall for you.» So Yuzuha kisses him so passionately and eagerly, Mitsuya thinks that the long wait was worth it, after all.

And Hakkai joins Mikey's club of the "proud brother whose sister fell for my trusted best friend".

sleepless nights arent rare for yuzuha. if its not for the power of caffeine and the fact that she's working her ass off for her beloved little brother, she might have long given up on her career. though a few months ago, she got herself a new energy booster in the form golden band on her ring finger.

while she fought her sleepiness, her fiance had long passed out alone on their bed. the thought of snuggling to his chest felt terribly tempting at such an ungodly hour. it made her pout like a little girl that she's buried among paperwork instead of being with him under their cozy blanket.

shaking her head, she sipped on her fifth mug of coffee and ticked off an item from her long to do list for the night. she was stretching her fatigue away when she heard a familiar voice before she's greeted with an unexpected kiss to the cheek.

'hello, handsome. what are you doing here?'. mitsuya didnt return her smile like he usually would. she knew why. 'its three and you're not in bed', he made his way around the couch with blanket on his shoulders like a cape and plopped next to her. without warning, he laid his head on her laps, 'come to bed',

yuzuha giggled at his clinginess. he's too adorable like this that she had to remind herself of her pressing deadlines. 'you have no idea how much i wish for that', her fingers raked through his messy long hair, making him lean in towards her touch.

'you know hakkai wouldnt end up on the street over a few delayed submission', his voice barely audible with his overwhelming drowsiness. though when his lover laughed, he cant help but smiled a little too. 'you know better than to underestimate him. forgot that he went to the wrong city for last month's charity dinner so soon?'

mitsuya hummed, 'i would have forgotten about it sooner if nahoya stops teasing him about it'. yuzuha's laughter died down after a while and they fell into a comfortable silence. the only noise filling the room came from the occasional clicking of her mouse and typing sound of her laptop's keyboard.

with her hand still resting on his head right where his hidden dragon tattoo was, yuzuha's working speed slowed down. its a welcomed distraction though. 'so, no go?', he opened his right eye slightly, peeking at her. 'no go, sorry', her palm slid down to cup his cheek, thumb caressing his jaw soothingly.

he could only sigh as he closed back his eye, turning and pressing his face against her belly. it wasnt an offensive gesture, but she did feel bad that she's worrying him. she certainly wanted to coax him to return to their bed, but she's also fully aware of the losing battle she'd be fighting for. he can be stubborn when he put his mind to something after all.

'want to sleep here with me?', she whispered to not startle him. he nodded, and loosely wrapped his arms around her waist. in less than five seconds, a soft snore left him, synching with the rise and fall of his chest harmoniously. smiling, yuzuha leaned down and placed a tender kiss on the crown of his head, 'dream for me too, love'.

Do I like Mitsuya x Yuzuha? Yes, I do. 😳

What do I think about them? I think they're so cute! In my head they would make such a pretty couple. Mitsuya is your typical levelheaded, kind and trustworthy guy, who has always a sweet smile on his face even though his life is not that easy. Yuzuha is your typical strong and brave girl, with a bubbly and lively personality behind which she hides heavy burdens. I just think they would be so well "matched" because, despite the differences in their personalities that would make them even more cute together, they are very similar in so many aspects: they both fight for family, they both protect their younger siblings, they both are very mature and reliable people and, above all, they both love Hakkai.

What truly makes me soft about Mitsuya and Yuzuha's dynamics is their mutual respect, the way they can understand each other, the way they know what it means to be an older brother/sister and having the responsibility to take care of younger siblings, especially when these are in a more fragile position (in Mitsuya's case because Luna and Mana are little children who rely on him as if he's both a motherly and fatherly figure, other than a brother; in Yuzuha's case because Hakkai ends up needing and relying on his sister's protection against Taiju's constant abuse).

I think it's also worth mentioning the genuine jealousy Yuzuha feels in seeing Hakkai admiring Mitsuya so much to the point he has Mitsuya's picture as wallpaper of his phone instead of hers. I don't know, I think it's funny and cute, because she wants to be the best and strongest sibling figure in her brother's eyes.

Last, but not least, what Mitsuya does in order to free Yuzuha from Taiju's abusive behavior, really made me emotional. He really goes as far as to make a compromise with Taiju, just for her, just to protect her. Not to mention their hug, the holy "I MAJORLY RESPECT YOU". I think I'm going to cry. 😭 Mitsuya respects Yuzuha for what she did, as tragic as it is, because he would have probably done the same for his family.

What do I think about their future? I have to be honest here, I don't think we're going to see them together in the end. Canonically, Yuzuha doesn't have romantic feelings for Mitsuya (at least for now), so our "shipping" them is only and genuinely rooted in headcanon field. But I think it's fine, I mean, their friendship is so special, their wholesome relationship is already too good. I'd be happy either way, even if they stay just friends. 💕 But I wouldn't exclude a possible turn of events. The author hasn't hinted at Yuzuha's crush on Takemichi in a long time. She might find out she has a soft spot for Mitsuya in the future, she might end up seeing him more like a possible partner than she did in the past. Who knows.

However, Ken Wakui wasn't so subtle here, when he straight up put mitsuzuha and the two canonical couples in the same row. It was probably just random, but it's cute. 😍

Draken x Emma: summer, beach and camping headcanons

It's a very warm summer and the gang decides to go camping at the beach for a few days.

When they get there, they set up the tents all together.

Emma struggles to set hers up, so Hina and Takemichi help her out.

When they're done, Draken secretely goes to check Emma's tent out to make sure it's well pitched and secured. He also changes Emma's pillow with his own because he notices hers is not soft enough.

Emma blushes for three days straight because of Draken in swim trunks, but when her friends point it out to her, she blames it on the sun and the summer heat.

Draken thinks she's too pretty in her bikini, sunglasses and hair blowing in the wind.

When it's time to go for a swim, the gang dives into the sea, cackling and splashing around. Emma takes her time to get into the water, since it's cold, so Draken stands around her to shield her from water splashes. He tol, she smol (always).

When Draken and Mikey play together in the water, Emma looks at them fondly. Knowing that his brother is happy and has such a good friend like Draken always fills her heart with joy.

Later, while on her beach towel, Emma gets a little bit jealous because some pretty girls keep throwing the ball in Draken's direction in an attempt to approach and flirt with him.

Draken couldn't care less what they do, he just ignores them and goes to Emma to invite her to take a swim together.

They play beach volleyball. Draken and Mikey form a team and they lose against Emma and Pah-chin. Mikey is furious because he thinks Draken played like shit on purpose to let Emma win, but that's just not true. Emma and Pah-chin are simply formidable.

Several times, Emma gently puts sunscreen on Draken's tattoo throughout the day. They're so close Draken can count Emma's eyelashes and they both can hear each other's heartbeats.

This scene punctually causes a general "AWWW!" 😍.

Emma loves the scent of saltiness on Draken's skin.

Draken loves the way Emma is so tiny among the other people in every situation, this makes him feel the need to keep his eyes on her all the time, even though there's no need to. She's so pretty, sometimes he has to remind himself to look away not to seem too in love.

Emma makes a seashell necklace and gives it to Draken.

«What should I do with this? It's not my style.»

«Oh,» she says with sad eyes and small voice. «I'm taking it back, then.»

«No way,» he quickly replies, nervously putting the necklace on. «It suits me, can't you see?»

«But you said it's not your style...» Emma mutters, even though Draken is already gone, proudly showing off his seashell necklace that he won't take off for weeks until it will break and fall off by itself.

When it's time to eat, half of Draken's food ends up being eaten by Mikey because he makes sad puppy eyes and Draken just can't resist. Emma giggles and shares her own food with Draken, in the end.

In the evening they have a bonfire, eat sweets and sing songs around the fire.

Emma and Draken are sitting next to each other and in the dim light and relaxed atmosphere they very slowly get closer to each other and in the end Emma rests her head on Draken's shoulder and Draken's fingers intertwines with hers on the sand. They won't talk about this ever again.

At night, Draken and Emma are in their respective tents and they just can't sleep. Unaware of each other, they decide to go for a walk and when they meet outside they both get shy, but they ultimately decide to go on the seashore to look at the stars.

Since the air is pretty cool at night, Draken silently takes off his jacket and puts it on Emma's shoulders.

When the first shooting star appears, they unknowingly make the same wish: of a future in which they can be happy together.

+ Bonus:

Pah and Peh are numbers one firewood fetchers.

Yuzuha and Mitsuya play together for the entire stay, they have swimming races, they play beach volleyball, they throw balls of sand at each other and then dive into the water splashing around and having fun.

Hakkai wonders when Yuzuha will realize that she likes Mitsuya and that Mitsuya is head over heels in love with her.

At some point, while around the bonfire, someone loudly asks Mitsuya who's the girl in his heart and he sweetly smiles and easily answers: «Yuzuha.»

She bursts out laughing and slaps him on the back of his neck.

«Stop making fun of me!» she says and keeps laughing.

Poor Mitsuya just blinks and sighs.
