they're soo cute specially mitsuu 😭

tr characters reacting to you saying “is this seat taken?” while pointing to their lap

gets REALLY flustered and turns into a deep shade of red while trying to think of a reply even though it’s just a yes or no question. he ends up just shaking his head and then turning away once you do sit on his lap. definitely doesn’t know what to do with his hands, does he wrap it around your waist? hold your hips? he won’t know, instead he just ends up awkwardly having his arms by his side and trying his best not to move too much. poor boy is flustered to the max.

tries to act really cool about it by shaking his head and muttering an almost inaudible “no, its not.” but the tip of his ears are a dead giveaway of how taken aback the question took him. also wouldn’t know what to do with his hands for the first few seconds but decides to rest it on your hips. his hands are almost hovering and not making a lot of contact with you because he’s a gentleman and is very unsure if you would like that. would also be squirming in his seat from time to time and you’d have to ask him if he’s okay.

gives you the biggest smirk while leaning back on the couch, one arm draped on the back of the couch and the other gently patting his thigh while saying “all yours, baby” he’d also spread his legs a little more. the one hand that he used to pat his thigh would automatically settle on your waist or if he’s feeling a little more touchy, he would wrap it around your front and pull you closer to him. would not be able to keep his hands off you. if pulling you closer to him isn’t enough, he’d rub his hand up and down your waist making you shiver at the touch.

The specific part in ep 14, where Mr. Shimooka asks Gaku a question, did you feel the chills with how everything stopped? There was NO BGM. LITERAL SILENCE. Only their shocked expressions and everyone’s take on that. Even the screen turned a little dark, as if the impact of those words are so much, it gives a dizzying feeling. I felt my stomach tying into knots, and my breath hitched.

I appreciate the animators for thinking of this scene perfectly, I felt as if my heart almost stopped for a moment. Like your mind is occupied with only those words echoing in your head, that even the BGM, others’ voices are not heard. Silence is sometimes very deafening.

The silence portrayed much more things that what sfx would have done. I don't know if Mr. Shimooka is also blackmailed by Ryo, but it seems to be the case likely. The shock I felt was further deepened, as if we are just in that place.

Life with Mitsuri is no ordinary life.

There is always something new and exciting to find or do.

Despite your occupations and the threat of looming death/being eaten by demons you and Mitsuri live a happy life.

Mitsuri lives up to her title of Love hashira anytime you're in the picture. Whether it's surprising romantic dinners/picnics, traveling back home, or fighting demons together Mitsuri makes sure love is in the air 24/7.

Your her s/o you must be showered with love anytime and anyplace.

While being constantly doted on her is quite nice. She never gets used to you still acting like your courting her even though two are already official.

Her favorite moments are when both of you are busy but you still take the time to set up dates on rendezvous points. They could be the simplest things but mitsuri loves how thoughtful you are.

Most if not all of your rendezvous dates end up with both of you sleeping the night away in each other's arms. Before you part ways you kiss and promise to see each other in a few days where you take the liberty of giving your love a well-deserved massage.

The first time you even mentioned starting a family with her she fainted. It didn't help you kept hitting on her while just casually mentioning it to her.

"he isn't as cute as you but I think we should keep him!"

"he'd be great practice for when we start having kids! Uzi's wife told me if I can take care of a pet. I can take care of a baby"

when you turn to look at her, her body comically fainted. Which sent you in a panic frenzy.

you hit her with the one-two punch too quickly. You can't just casually mention asking her father for her hand in marriage and whatnot.

But she loves seeing you with the new addition of the family. It's like you and the puppy have this unspoken bond with it.

"Mistuu Mitsuu mistsu! the puppy is lonely! we should get him a little doggy friend!"

she doesn't know how you did it but a couple of hours later you appeared with a stay dog.

“mitsi, mitsi, mITSI LOOK, I found a stray doggy! can we please keep it for our other doggy!"

She has no other choice to accept. after all, there is more than enough love in your household for more.

"Mitsi?"

"yes, love?"

" I love you! I feel like I don't say it enough."

Stop! you can't be this cute all the damn time!

Don't get me started on how the other Hashira's.

Rengoku is coming over almost every other day, he plays with the puppies with you while mitsu just looks at your little family from the porch.

If either of you gets hurt I'm sorry but Shinobu can't stay long around the two of you. She loves the both of you truly but it's awkward being the third wheel and constantly witnessing you dote on each other.

Gyōmei is always crying about how young love is beautiful. Obanai is crying with him but for a different reason. He truly wishes the best for you two. If you'll need a priest he's gotcha.
