Omg i genuinely can't I HATE IKIGUSARE IDOLS AND TBHK.

The Song "Issho ni ite yaru ze" ( 一緒にいてやるぜ ), or "Let's stay together" translated into english, by ikigusare idols reminds me of Mitsukou so much it actually makes me SICK. I have to talk about it,,,,,

The following lyrics IMMEDIATELY remind me of the two. Here's the chorus for example:

You see that. Namaichirou Yamamoto i'm gonna get you good.

I have been listening to this song for a long while now, and i've felt a deep connection to it ever since. The meaning of it really means a lot to me, but sure, not every aspect of it may be Mitsukou coded, but those lines really remind me of them. And i LOVE it when a major interest of mine reminds me of another one ^u^u^

I'm sorry if this little ramble isn't really well written or thought of, i have really bad difficulties with describing things and talking about my interests in general. I’ve been behind on my asks so I’m trying to get caught up and this seems like the best one to start with, musicals have been rotting my brain since the eighth grade. I’m gonna be honest, I don’t remember every song I listed in the original post so I apologize if some of these are repeats!!

• Idk how much you’d count this one as a musical song but Once Upon A Dream from Sleeping Beauty makes me think of Mitsukou/Soukou (especially in the context of the new timeline)

• Helpless from Hamilton with AoiAoi and then Satisfied with Terukane. I think I’ve seen an animatic for this but there are a lot of Hamilton animatics for different fandoms so I could be mistaken

• Alyssa Greene from The Prom with Aoi

• And on that note, The Lady’s Improving with Yako or Sumire (Sumire bcuz you can add in Hakubo for the romantic context). Quite honestly I love The Prom sm, it’s very overhated imo bcuz the songs are all bangers

• Portrait Of A Girl from Bare: A Pop Opera with Aoi and Akane before their development

• More with Bare because I love queer musicals, Role Of A Lifetime with Mitsuba in the context of Mitsukou. They can’t be together forever and Mitsuba knows that so he’s confused on what Kou wants…see the vision

• There’s A Fine, Fine Line from Avenue Q with Nene…possibly after Nakahara rejected her

• I feel like the concept of She Used To Be Mine from Waitress could be applicable to so many female characters because context aside, it has major theme of going from girlhood to womanhood + overcoming a lot of trauma, so it’s hard for me to nail down just one. Perhaps yorishiro Sumire? Could also apply to Nene

• You Gotta Die Sometime from Falsettos with Mei (my sister and I quote the opening line to each other every time one of us is sick…but also oof this song hurts me)

• This one is a bit nonsensical but I like to imagine The Worst Pies In London with Teru and Akane since yk Teru is terrible at cooking. Or with Ghost Hotel Kou and Nene (not in a ship way tho)

• The Ballad Of Jane Doe from Ride the Cyclone loosely makes me think of Katakuri bcuz of the whole deal with the kannagi losing their memories

• In the Same Boat from the Lightning Thief demo with any of the trios tbh, mainly the Broadcasting Crew because Sakuhiko fit the Percabeth dynamic so well and Tsukasa as Grover is just yes (in the context of this song specifically lol). For the others tho it would be Terukane as Percabeth and Aoi as Grover, then HanaKou as Percabeth and Nene as Grover…or HanaNene as Percabeth and Kou as Grover. Another one with lots of options

Could also be with Mitsuba or Amane as Moritz but NOT Kou because we all know Kou isn’t actively suicidal right?? We’re all on the same page abt that?? Good

• I could also picture Those You’ve Known with Kou and his dead ghost friends at the end of the manga. Specifically Hanako as Moritz and Nene as Wendla but you could substitute either of them for Mitsuba if you want

• I feel like Wait For It from Hamilton could fit Tsuchigomori

• No Me Diga from In the Heights makes me think of Aoi and Nene and their rumors. Bonus points if Akane is the one Nene teases Aoi about with the “just wanted to see what you’d say” part

• Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom Of The Opera with Teru mourning his mom…we don’t really get to see him talk abt her in canon so it’s a cool concept

I've been a big TBHK fan since 2020! Aida & Iro sensei are really doing a fantastic job with the manga, even if they are hurting us in the process. It's probably the only fandom I'll never ever fully move on from because it has a very special place in my heart. 💔 I don't want a sad or bittersweet ending, all of my babies deserve to have the sweetest happy ending imaginable. It's tiring being a HanaNene and MitsuKou shipper. We lose the moment we win. 😓 And although Tsukasa is the ''evil'' character in this manga, I don't want anything bad to happen to him either. Yugi twins are making me sick. When their past is fully revealed, I will bawl my eyes out. ☹️ They're all just kids. It's all that god-like black hole's fault. Or whoever is to blame...

Hay y'all I decided to finally make and explanation post to my absences- TwT

Well I joined Tumblr to interact with the TBHK fan base and share my thoughts on the series and new chps. It was fun until it wasn't and wasn't good for me. Checking Tumblr would make me extremely anxious and stress me out because I hated seeing people get shut up and I hated being shut up and not listened to. I wish I could have a nice conversation that people would mutually disagree and agree without fighting but that's hard to come by in this fan base especially when you have it feels like the opposite opinion of EVERYONE.

So I stepped away from the fan base.

And I've never been better ^^

I feel a lot better about my opinions and enjoying the series in general. The fan base killed MitsuKou for me pretty hard because I hated seeing every single new chp people talking about how they don't care what happens as long as Mitsukous canon- I know some are joking but seeing it so much just made me get sick of it- being away from all that I've been loving MitsuKou again especially these newer chps ^^ (there so cute)

And that goes with everything else too. On top of that my mental health just has been shit lately- that's personal and I'm not gonna share much it's just been rough lately.

I hope to post more soon when I'm ready to fully come back but for now I'm taking my time.

I'm glad to see that Akane continues to be the bi disaster we love but goddammit do I want to be in his shoes for a quick second just to see a drenched Teru fucking Minamoto leaning towards me anD NOW FUCK DO I CRAVE FOR TERUKANE HAVING A RAIN SCENE PLS–

BUT THE TWO BANTERING CHILDREN AND THEIR EXHAUSTED BABYSITTER INTERACTIONS WAS JUST UGH! Long have I waited for this chapter to be published so I can put it in the ask again!! Their interaction was a self-indulgent fuel! And while I am quite biased in loving the "i am delighted with my love life" part, almost all of their moments together makes me wish that TeruKane did go to the Red House! Like the part where Kou and Akane fought back-to-back; Tsukasa being concerned and worried for Akane that he might become sick just like Amane; Akane being awkward at comforting people and (mitsukou moment ugh) Kou being horrified at having a heart-to-heart talk with his senpai lmao– and just now realized that I'm about to talk about all of their moments together whoops.

And, again, I loooove your portrayals of the characters! Especially Akane and Teru themselves!

I'm quite excited for the next chapter!!

Argues with Tsuchigomori over trivial things. Like "If your leg got amputated then where would you feel the pain??"

mitsuba would be a prince who is extremely hard to please and annoys all of the castle’s staff.

kou would be an honourable knight who comes from a long line of knights who taught in extremely famous wars and such.

kou’s brother is a knight too, but he isn’t a fan of mitsuba or anyone who’s royal.

hanako would be a prince from another kingdom who usually rocks up uninvited to get away from his own boring kingdown

nene would be a gardener for the castle and regularly hangs out with kou and hanako

Okay so I googled it and apparently Season 2 hasn't been confirmed but there is plenty of material from the manga available to make a sequel. If anyone has any other information, I would LOVE for someone to reply to this with that info.

REVIEW TIME!

Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun is an anime about a ghost named Hanako-Kun, who haunts the school bathroom, being summoned by Nene Yashiro, a girl who dreams of having a boyfriend to love her for who she is. Despite how weird and crackhead-sounding the title and storyline are, the show has an amazing plot and incredible characters. Definitely high up on my list of animes I love. Overall, I have to rate Season 1 a definite 8/10. The show is awesome, but I despise the fact that all the characters keep making fun of Nene's legs as if a woman is supposed to have every single feature of her body be perfect. I feel like it would've made more sense if you had people make fun of her boobs or something rather than her ankles because for her boobs to be kinda underdeveloped in high school would be a definite target for bullying rather than a feature as random as her ankles. I am definitely a Hananene shipper, and possibly a Mitsukou shipper. I still wanna know WHY Hanako killed Tsukasa, and if my s3xu@l @$$ault theory was right or not. I can't wait for Season 2 to come out, and I hope they continue to have the show be the masterpiece it is.

Also, I've started collecting the manga(i currently have 1-3 and 5, with 4 and 6 arriving next month)because I'm sick of waiting for Season 2 so when Season 2 comes around just know that I might know everything that happens by then

Hoseok x Jihae(based on the prompt "looks like we'll be stuck here a while")

“Hoseok, I found more stuff,” Jihae says and sets a medium sized box onto the bed next to his boyfriend then sits himself. Hoseok smiles seeing that the slightly younger male is wearing one of his button downs and a pair of black jeans that hug his thigh just right to Hoseok(I make him so pervy XD) . The couple opens the box and the first thing the younger pulls out is a worn teddy bear holding a pink heart. 

“Aw, the teddy bear you gave me on our first anniversary,” Jihae says with a large smile and hugs it close to him, “I slept with this every night until I moved in with you.”

They continue pulling out things until Hoseok pulls out a framed picture of a group of people standing in front of a sign with huge smiles on their faces.

“Hey, I remember this. It was the trip we all took when Jimin introduced me to you guys,” the younger male says and leans against the elder’s shoulder, “I wanna say this was 4 years ago.”

*Flashback to that day*

A 19 year old Jihae sat quietly behind Jimin as the younger male rambled on to Jin who was trying his best to pay attention to both the 18 year old and the road ahead.

“J-Jiminnie, are you s-sure your other friends with like m-me?” the nervous male questioned while je played with his fingers. The younger male turned to look at him and gave his brightest smile towards his friend.

“Of course they will~! You are absolutely adorable and so sweet right Jin hyung~?” Jimin said towards the driver.

“Minnie is right. You will be fine Jihae,” the eldest of the three agreed and pulled into a camp ground where 5 people were sitting at a picnic table talking amongst themselves. The car stopped and the three get out of it then the youngest ran up and hugged someone from behind. “I am so glad you guys could come~!” Jimin yelled and is held tightly by the person he glomped. Jihae helped Jin unpack the car and he looked back when someone called the eldest’s name. He looked up to see a young man about his age walking up to them and the 19 year old blushed a bit then turned his head to hide it. “Hey Hoseok, what’s up?” Jin asked and put his sleeping bag on the ground.

“I was wondering if you guys needed help,” the man, Hoseok, smiled and began helping the two get their things out of the trunk. The three walked over and Jimin grabbed Jihae’s hand to pull him out from behind Jin.

“Everyone, this is my friend. Jihae this is Min Yoongi, Kim Namjoon, Kim Taehyung, Hinamori Mitsuke and Jung Hoseok~” the younger said and smiled as everyone told the other hello. The shy male nodded a hello back and he sat on a table away from the others a bit so he could calm his crazily fast beating heart.

“Are you ok kid?” a voice asked and Jihae looked up to see Hoseok standing there with a soft smile on his face then the other male sat next to him. “I-I’m a bit nervous is all. I-I have never really been around so many people before. J-Jimin thought it was a great idea f-for me to accompany you all o-on your trip. I-I’m sorry i-I’m rambling aren’t i?” the shy male said and hid his face in his hands. He looked up hearing a soft chuckle and he saw the other male covering his mouth while trying not to laugh out loud.

“Sorry for laughing, but you are just too cute~” Hoseok said which caused Jihae to blush even more and he put a hand on his head to ruffle the boy’s head.

“COME ON YOU TWO! WE NEED TO SET UP TENTS!” Yoongi yelled and the two got up to help set up. Over the next few days, everyone bonded together and one day, Jimin decided to do something interesting.

“I think we should go on a scavenger hunt~!” the young man said with sparkles in his eyes towards the group that was on a picnic table eating breakfast.

“How could we do a scavenger hunt? What is there to find in the woods?” Yoongi complained. “Oh, come on hyung. It’ll be fine~! I’m totally game for this Jimin~!” Taehyung said with a smile on his face and he grabbed Namjoon’s arm, “I can Namjoon hyung~!” Everyone began splitting up until it was just Jihae and Hoseok left and the two smiled gently towards one another. They are handed a list of things that the younger male came up with and started out in a different direction than the other teams. Jihae held onto the list and looked at it from time to time when Hoseok asked him something about it. The wandered around until the younger felt something wet hit the top of his head and he looked up right as rain began pouring down heavily.

“Jihae, come on! We need to find shelter from this downpour!” the elder of the two yelled and grabbed the other’s hand tightly while he ran and pulled him. The elder saw an abandoned cabin and he went inside with the younger behind him. “We should be safe here until the rain stops. Are you alri-“Hoseok started, but froze seeing what the other male looked like. Jihae stood in the middle of the room shivering and his white t-shirt is soaked completely making it see through.

“H-Hyung, are you a-alright? You s-stopped mid-sentence,” the younger male questioned and he looked at him with his large eyes. The elder blushed and took off his jacket then handed it to the younger while trying to keep his eyes away from the other’s chest.

“W-wear this while i-I try to see i-if I can get a f-fire started,” Hoseok stuttered and he looked around the cabin. The elder found firewood, some lighter fluid and some matches then he went back to the other who was still shivering. After the fire is lit, the sat in silence for a while and the younger began coughing then hugged himself to get warmer.

“Are you still cold Jihae?” Hoseok questioned extremely worried that the other was gonna get sick and he moved closer. The elder went to hug him, but his hand slipped and the two fell onto the floor loudly with Hoseok on top hovering over a bright red Jihae. They sat silent until the elder leaned up and gently put his lips against the other’s one. The younger closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around the elder’s neck while he kissed back.

*the next morning*

Hoseok woke up the next morning to the sound of birds and he wiped the sleep out of his eyes then stopped hearing a small little noise next to him. He looked down and smiled softly seeing a naked Jihae cuddling into his naked side to keep warm with a happy smile on his face. “Ji baby, we gonna get up and head back to the camp site. The others will be wondering where we are,” the elder said and kissed the top of his head.

“Don’t wanna. Just wanna cuddle more,” the younger said in a cute little whiney voice making the other hug him close. They get dressed and headed back to the campsite where Jimin was standing with a glare and Jin had a worried face.

“Where were you two!? I was so worried when you did- wait, why are you holding hands?” the younger questioned angrily at first, but ended up being confused seeing them closer than before, “oh, my god~! You two hooked up didn’t you~!? Alright, my Jihae got some last night~!”

“Jimin!” Jihae blushed and hid his face in his new boyfriend’s neck while the younger teased them more.

*End of flashback*

“Oh yeah. That was the trip where we got together. I had completely forgotten about that until now,” Hoseok says and kisses his boyfriend’s naked shoulder(they ended up doing it. hoseok couldn't keep it in his pants any longer)

“That and it was the trip where we both lost our v-cards~” Jihae says and turns to look at the elder. They cuddle together and the elder of the two plays with the other’s hair.

“You know, I wanna go back to there and make more memories with all of our friends. I think we should have our wedding there,” Hoseok says. “Why are we talking about having a wedding when we aren’t even engaged yet,” the younger said and sits up. He watches as the elder sits up as well and his hand is held.

“Well, I was just thinking ahead,” the elder says and holds up a rose gold ring with sapphires imbedded into it then slips it onto the other’s finger.
