Had some awesome hockey this past week that culminated with an opportunity for my Little Man to try out the goalie position (since he finally is big enough for the gear). He was just going to practice it, with a plan to play the position in a game this coming week... but about half an hour into that, we got word that an in house team needed a goalie (and a few players) for a game. More pics will be coming but THIS kid makes is endlessly proud and I had to share! He played hard all weekend long... and is basking in the results! He played B and A level in a tournament... that meant double the games... and 2 medals... along with all of the pride! 2 hat tricks on Saturday, plus 8 more goals and many assists... he never gave up or showed that he was worn. His teams worked just as hard. I said there were more pics coming... and I was serious. 😜 Again, he and his entire team played like champions. Unfortunate reffing ended them in 2nd place overall. My son is told before every game to always do his best because that is the best he can do, and THAT will ALWAYS make us proud. Just a few pics of my crazy hockey player today! I am so glad to have these photos to remember when he was/is so small. I know he will be bigger before we know it... no doubt he will likely still be small in comparison to his peers, but just growing up. I recall so clearly when his older siblings were 6, and I suddenly turned around and one of them will be 21 in a few months. 😳 Anyway... my tiger on the ice!
